Speaker 1: What's up everyone?

Speaker 2: Welcome back to another edition of the Grab My Banner Podcast,

Episode number two hundred and eighty four, and Ladies and gentlemen,

the cyberpunk event is here. The Skins have arrived. Night

City is also here in the District area. Let's just

start off with the number one thing here, taken away

from everything else. Just make E District nighttimes.

Speaker 1: It's just so ship as a daytime map.

Speaker 2: I don't know whose idea it was fun when we

thought it was just going to be a small little event.

Oh it's stay timed. Oh that's interesting, it's neat. It's

fucking stay daytime this whole whole time. I swear to god,

they hate E District. They just actively try and make

it worse at every turn, and then every new season

they're like, let's just fucking take it out of the game.

Speaker 3: Our best map. Now they don't want to play.

Speaker 1: They don't want that. They don't want that.

Speaker 3: We're gonna let the other maps breathe.

Speaker 2: The night city version of the District is even better

than the regular night version of it, but I'll still

take the regular night version of it over the daytime.

I'll take both of these versions over the Daytime. I'll

take King's Canyon over the fucking Daytime e District. I

will take it. That's crazy, you know what, maybe, except

maybe I won't. I won't take Sorry, I won't do it.

I won't do it.

Speaker 3: That's crazy. You've turned on Olympus so hard.

Speaker 1: I know I had to. They left me no choice.

Speaker 2: I thought that it was going to get better with

the changes they made, but it didn't.

Speaker 4: Actually, it's actually a little worse.

Speaker 2: I actually think it was more of the legends than

than the map itself. I think the legends that they

added since then have just made the map obsolete. I

think that's really what it comes down to. But nonetheless,

that's what the case is. And it's fucking here, ladies

and gents. The brand new event for Cyberpunk. The Cyberpunk

Event here is really interesting. It's a really fun version

of wild Card. You basically loaded to the game it's

night City. You drop, it's regular Wildcard at first, but

then the second you drop you get in a choice

of two abilities. One you get this insane Dash, which

is like three times the version of the Ash Dash,

And it's especially nice when you're playing on those buildings

on the district because you can jump back and forth

and break ankles often right, or you get the second ability,

which you go invisible and then you release almost like

somewhat of an e MP that like breaks shields and

sends people on their merry way.

Speaker 3: It's wild card.

Speaker 4: There should never be any invisibility in this fucking game.

In any game, crypto gets a fucking pass because you're immobile.

You can't fucking move while you're using it.

Speaker 5: But if you could shoot anybody, I.

Speaker 2: Don't know if they can shoot. I haven't used the

ability yet. I don't think they can shoot. I think

they run around and then they just like pop it.

Speaker 4: It doesn't matter. You're invisible, you run up to somebody,

you break their shield instantly, and they just blast them

their desks. Fucking ship.

Speaker 3: Yeah.

Speaker 2: Now, the thing with these abilities, they're they're kind of

interesting in the way that you can use them kind

of as many times as you want, but eventually you

will run into the problem where, uh, just like in cyberpunk,

you kind of like lose all ability to do anything,

and you have to use a special syringe to bring

you back, and it takes to like three or four

of them to get back to your normal state before

you can go back to shooting and doing all that

kind of stuff. But it makes it interesting because if

you really want to, and it gives you a warning

when you're about to reach it, if you really want to,

you can go Siico mode.

Speaker 1: But if you do end up going sicko mode, it

might take you.

Speaker 5: A little bit to like fuck, you know, to get

back to where you are cyber psycho.

Speaker 1: You become a cyber psycho and you're fucked.

Speaker 4: I've never played Cyberpunk.

Speaker 3: It's a really good game.

Speaker 4: You watch the show, right, I didn't I to. I

need everybody tells me it's good.

Speaker 3: It's amazing.

Speaker 4: Yeah, so I need to.

Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a really it's a really good game. I

really enjoy it, and I haven't even beat it yet.

In fact, I haven't really even gotten that far on it.

I just kind of fuck around. But it's still really

fun and I enjoy the fuck out of it, and

I think everybody would enjoy the fuck out of it.

Speaker 4: I'm going to go back to playing some single player

games again.

Speaker 2: Dude, especially that one. That one's that one's nice. That

one's nice. You can go out there, plow you want, bang,

go plow and then.

Speaker 4: Make your dick any size you want to.

Speaker 1: You can make your dick.

Speaker 2: I wouldn't say any size you want, Like, it's really

just big or small.

Speaker 1: Yeah, tough choice there.

Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I want the small one.

Speaker 2: But you can't funk around with your pubes.

Speaker 1: You can't.

Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I gave my pubs the rising Sun.

Speaker 4: I'm giving a fat bush.

Speaker 2: You'd probably do fat bush. I don't remember all the options.

It wasn't it's not the most it's not the thing

I remember most about the game. I do remember. I

did have a nice pube pattern though it was nice.

Speaker 3: It was nice.

Speaker 2: No, it was the rising sun. It was like the

fucking rays of sunshine.

Speaker 3: Yeah, hell yeah yeah.

Speaker 2: Rays of sunshine coming through the horizon. The horizon is

my fucking dick.

Speaker 3: That's what more games need, a Pubes Pubes option dick

slider deeper.

Speaker 2: In fact, let's let's really get in there and me.

Speaker 3: Really just customize it fully. Give me like a brush.

Speaker 1: They didn't give me an option to color.

Speaker 4: Hey, they should give you an option for curvature.

Speaker 3: They didn't give you a color option. Well, maybe it's

been they didn't match the drape.

Speaker 2: It may it might have been a little bit, you know,

if I went back and I looked, maybe that was

an option.

Speaker 3: But every time I start that game, I feel like

I just something happens. I'm like, I don't want to

play this right now, and I just never play it again.

Speaker 2: That's the tough thing is when you do stop, it's

really hard to start again.

Speaker 3: Yeah, like what was I doing?

Speaker 1: Because yeah, you're just like, damn, I really want to

I don't know.

Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, it is like one of those games. It's

not like a Skyrim type of game where you literally

could just run around and do whatever you want. Like

there is limitations at times to what you can do,

where a Skyrim I feel like you can maybe there's

like slight limitations, not really, Yeah, you gotta do it.

Speaker 3: A little bit more open. It's a lot. I mean

you can really do a lot of shit, though, you can.

Speaker 1: Yeah.

Speaker 3: After you beat the I will say the intro is

pretty long.

Speaker 1: Intro is long. Same with you, I think.

Speaker 3: Like you're not in it anymore, and then it's like,

oh the game still started. Yeah, like you're like reeves

in it.

Speaker 4: Yeah.

Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's fun. It's a good game. But yeah,

so the event looks good the skins look nice. All

of the skins look really nice. We're gonna do skin

Safari here in just a little bit to go through

all of those, and then the event is fun like

the the wild Card version. So all in all, really solid,

really well done. The only thing he was missing I

think was an air loom.

Speaker 3: That's really it. Yeah, I kind of wish it wasn't

the alternator. I don't know what they would do.

Speaker 1: I don't either.

Speaker 3: The alator is the it's like the the mythic reward

or an ethic reward for the.

Speaker 4: The gun you get from from like cyberpunk game or whatever.

Speaker 3: There's a lot of different guns. I don't know.

Speaker 2: There might be like a parallel to it. But like

I said, I haven't played it that much. Top of

my off the top of my dome piece.

Speaker 4: It's like Bully the bullet or whatever is like your

little Connor.

Speaker 2: I think it seems like Skippy or something something.

Speaker 3: I don't remember what it was. I have to looks

like fucking Clippy. It looks like Clippy.

Speaker 2: He definitely does well, Ladies and gents. That is all

for the Cyberpunk event for right now. We're gonna throw

it on down to the Apex Legends World Cup. We've

got the round of eight here, gonna be some fun matchups,

and then we got voicemails and we throw it on

back to UH on this day and grab my banner

history with the fun UH A fun throwback, a fun

walk through memory lane.

Speaker 3: So check that out as well.

Speaker 2: But as for right now, ladies and gents, it's time

for the Apex Skin Safari.

Speaker 6: All rot.

Speaker 3: Here we are.

Speaker 2: It's another edition of the Apex Skin Safari Mike.

Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, we got ourselves some nice little skins

here from the Cyberpunk event.

Speaker 1: Things are starting to feel real nice.

Speaker 7: Things are starting to feel real great over here with

the Cyberpunk the cyber punk mate, cyberpunk mate, got lots

of stuff here, mate, I'm gonna kick it on down

with Safari Master Coyle, Coyle, can you do the David

Martinez skin?

Speaker 2: Their mate, Rocky mate.

Speaker 4: He wearing a bloody lot of yellow here. He looks

like he got mustard stains all over his shirt. It's everywhere.

You got a little stirn and missus hot dog all right.

Speaker 8: All right, Lizzy, he's Glizzy here, mate, We got him.

He's got this bright bright yellow jacket on here, and

it looks like he's got some type of romantic arm

thing hanging out here.

Speaker 4: And then he's got this it's weird. I think the

kids a call like a like a fade on the side.

Speaker 1: They count.

Speaker 4: He's got the spiky spiky cot in the front, you know,

with the hairdoo. It's like a mohawk, but not hawk

if you will, yeah for hawk.

Speaker 9: Yeah.

Speaker 4: And then he's wearing a nice little chain there. It

looks like he's got the criptare jone on it, which

is kind of kind of out bist out. Yeah. And

these weren't jeans. I don't think that boys ever.

Speaker 1: Mate, there it is.

Speaker 2: I'm gonna throw it on down to Safari Master Christopher

and he's gonna do the Lucy skin their make all right.

Speaker 3: Here we have my wife Axel looking at like Lucy

from the show. She's got the white hair with the bangs,

much better bangs. Well, she's got a bit of a

body suit put purple body suit covering, white short not.

Speaker 2: Much not much covering on the back side. Then skins

showing right fit, skins are showing.

Speaker 4: She's got a wagon skin.

Speaker 3: Wagon showing and this this all little half jacket, doesn't

cover shoulders, doesn't cover her her stomach.

Speaker 5: I think it's it covers just about then. I mean

it's the sleeves and that's just about it there, Mate.

Speaker 4: I think it's being held up by the nipples. Then, Mate, it.

Speaker 2: Looks like she got that jacket from like the extra

small section of the baby cap.

Speaker 1: Like it's this small jacket, the.

Speaker 5: Not very fund much not much might be a little

cold night City.

Speaker 2: I'm gonna throw it on down here to the rampart skin.

This is Rebecca here, mate, and this gotta be my

favorite skin that I've seen in this video game in

a while. There and out of everybody, it's a rampart.

I'm super excited here. If you're a rampart, Maine absolutely

must caught for this skin. There, Mate, we got Rebecca.

She's wearing a large overcoat. It's the antithesis of whatever

the fuck Axle is wearing on her arms. The mate,

this coat is big and it covers a lot. But

she's also got the brawltte underneath. She's got the she's

got the it's like a red spread stuff around her neck.

I don't even know what to describe that it's like tattoos. Probably, mate,

she's got some nice green hair. Skin's like very translucent, very.

Speaker 3: Like white white, super.

Speaker 2: White like ghost like ghost white skin, nice green hair.

I love the jacket their mate. The leg tattoo looks nice.

If you're a rampart Maine, you gotta cop this one.

Some robotic arms too, Kyle, would you like to go

to the roy skin there?

Speaker 4: Cat?

Speaker 2: Fuck?

Speaker 4: Good luck, Rocky mate, This mother fucking look ugly. Hell,

I've never seen an human being in my entire life.

Speaker 5: His faces caved in there, his face is caved in.

Speaker 4: I don't know what's going on with his fucking eyes

of forehead. He's got some weird duo lingo thing on there.

Speaker 3: The bird something like that Spanish.

Speaker 4: He's definitely not an Australian, I'll tell you. He's got

a nice little jackety thing on here. And he's got

some some bain arms where he's got the little things

hooked up to his back. He's got some leather pants.

I don't think I don't think Bolt should ever be

wearing the pants that.

Speaker 3: No, can't you try.

Speaker 2: To wring those pants off out after he takes them off.

Just pure water coming one of those things. Man, he's

sweating up a storm down this swamp as.

Speaker 5: He's also bald as fun. He's also bold as hell,

one bold motherfucker old boy.

Speaker 2: Moving over here to the ashkin, let's go on throw

it on back for him, Master Christopher.

Speaker 3: All right, we've got the Lizzy wizzy as you will.

We've got ash with a very tight suit. She might

have some boobage under there, tight bunny suit looking. She's

got some multi colored feathers on her arms, on her

arms there, pink and black. And she's got a hood

on with some pink, very pink hair.

Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna be honest here, mate, that the feathers

are throwing me for I don't know.

Speaker 1: I don't like those at all. I don't like those.

Speaker 3: She's got some boobage, yeah, she does have robo tastes

like the one end of the battery there tastes like

you got a muffle of Nichols.

Speaker 2: We've been on over here to the PanAm skin. This

is Lowber their mate, and I couldn't think of a

better skin. Holy ship, You've got the most perfect skin

for lower their mate. She's wearing the nice red jacket,

looks exactly like Pineam from the game there as you

would expect to two hairstyles the exact same, same, exact outfit.

It's the perfect skin. I think here, if you're rocking

lowber whatsoever, you get the skin. If you're a fan

of cyberpunk whatsoever, you get this skin. Absolute beauty. It's

a beauty of it's a beauty of his skin. I'm

gonna throw it on back to Safari Master Kyle for

the crypto skins. I said to the group, shot there, mate,

I mean we're honest, I said, bubble head, look outside.

Speaker 4: Mate, he's got a fucking wait is his head so

hold on? Why it looks like they made him shoulder there,

made his legs look tiny and his head looks here?

Speaker 3: Why is his head so big?

Speaker 4: There? Cut ship, I think they shrunk his package, shrug everything,

his head, his head, his hands are small eyes. I mean,

he looks like a damn bubblehead and.

Speaker 1: He's got Yeah.

Speaker 2: I don't like this skin at all, just purely for

the fact that his head doesn't match the rest of

his body.

Speaker 4: It's just crazy, mate, looks good.

Speaker 1: Nice fad. I guess face.

Speaker 2: This is the playable character if you were to play

a male as a character in Cyber Pink.

Speaker 4: Wy't they make him so short?

Speaker 1: I don't know why they made him short.

Speaker 2: I also don't know why his head couldn't fit into

like a large hat.

Speaker 5: I mean his head got to get the giant hats

his head, those big cunts.

Speaker 4: He's wearing a berry Bond's hat as.

Speaker 2: He didn't listen to anybody growing up saying don't let

your head get too big for your shelders. Let's let

it grow. Goodness, gracious there, mate, let's throw it on

the final skin. Here, this forty master Christopher, the Lifeline V.

Speaker 3: We've got the life Line V with her her shaved

side of the head with the pink hair, the red

and pink hair just way too big for her head.

She's got the cakes so small to he looks a

little short, doesn't she does? It looks a little short.

She's got the classic cyberpunk jacket.

Speaker 1: I'm gonna it's a little big too.

Speaker 4: There is my camera?

Speaker 3: Were you on the point five?

Speaker 1: I might have been there?

Speaker 4: Down pace looks huge.

Speaker 2: Quickly, let's roll through the skins here, mate, copper drop,

what do you think about the sparrow we copp in?

Big cop that's a big cought. Obviously, the Axle skin

we got to con I'm copping.

Speaker 3: That's a good skin. That's her best skin ever. I

think Royce can fuck off.

Speaker 4: To give. That's what about Ash.

Speaker 3: She's got robo bit.

Speaker 8: Honestly, I might get it, you must.

Speaker 1: And then the other two skins, if my camera didn't

fuck them up, they're all right. I mean I might get.

Speaker 4: The life.

Speaker 5: Crypto with the short hair. I kind of like Cryptos,

all right, but then you'd have to play Crypto. That's

also looks.

Speaker 3: A little bit like he aged twenty years he did.

Speaker 1: He does look a lot older.

Speaker 4: They mate.

Speaker 2: I wonder if in like Night City, if it's just

like you naturally age quicker because everything is killing you.

You're just stressed out, just like he looks at least

forty in this picture.

Speaker 1: Maybe he's just like twenty two.

Speaker 2: Like maybe that's how life works in City White City.

Speaker 1: Yeah.

Speaker 2: Overall, I would say these are some of the better

skins we've ever gotten. And when you think about an

event having great skins, this is what you want. Cyber event,

you get some all the good skins here. I'd probably

cough as many of these as I can. I'm gonna

be answer with you, guys. I actually tried to get

the the rampart one just from packs. I got five

straight purple packs, you know, five fucking straight purple packs.

Speaker 3: It was fucking ridiculous.

Speaker 1: Yes, absolutely, Blue Mama it is.

Speaker 3: It was very frustrating. It was very frustrating.

Speaker 2: Well, ladies and gents, that should just about to do

it for this week's edition of the Apex Skin Safari.

Go in there, get yourself some cyberpunk skins, have yourselves

a bowl. We'll be back soon with another tour with

the Apex Skin Safari. Let's get it.

Speaker 5: All right, ladies and gents, let's get into it. The

round of eight.

Speaker 2: Eight teams remaining here in the Apex Legends World Cup.

We're getting down to the nitty gritty in the real

World Cup right now. There's one match remaining at this

point when we're recording. It should be done by the

time you hear this, and we'll be getting ready for

the World Cup Final. We're a little bit behind, but

not by much, not too much now, boys, it has

been one hell of a tournament. We've got some stinkers

on this card. We also have two bangers to absolute heaters.

Speaker 9: That.

Speaker 2: I think we're gonna have to really discuss and figure

out here.

Speaker 1: Okay, okay, you already for this.

Speaker 2: Let's kick it off with the first match up here,

Newcastle going up against Axel.

Speaker 3: It's gotta be AXLT. It's got to be ax It's

no shot, is there is there? Let's discuss is there

a spin for? Is there a spin.

Speaker 4: Athletic?

Speaker 3: He's big and athletically, he's not moving like.

Speaker 5: When she slides, he can put show it in front

of it. He continues without ball. Yeah, so he gets

one shield. Yeah, that's like the best whole field. Yeah, So,

like that's the big thing is because one's a passing

one's attack, there's a problem.

Speaker 3: Yeah, she can slide good anyway with her passive and

she gets her pads.

Speaker 1: Down and she gets two of them, now them out

on the field.

Speaker 3: She just has one, one, three.

Speaker 4: You can have up to three on the field.

Speaker 2: Okay, So that's dangerous. Yeah, I mean I guess theoretically

he could kick him around and be like, all right,

get this out of here.

Speaker 4: He can use him too, But I mean, like.

Speaker 3: Oh, that is true, it's true, but.

Speaker 4: But I don't think the shield really helps you that much.

And I think her passive being able to.

Speaker 3: Move, he can't shoot shoot it through the shield either.

Speaker 5: No, but what he could do is put shield directly

behind him as he's running down and run in front

of it. So she tries to slide tack or anything

like that. Even if she does, she doesn't take ball. Yeah,

you know what I mean, Like as you can use

it in different ways like that, which it's still not

going to be great, but it's probably the best way

to go about it.

Speaker 1: And this is my thought.

Speaker 4: I will say, though, if she gets anywhere in the box,

I think it's over.

Speaker 5: I think he dominates her in the box. Gotta keep

her out of the box.

Speaker 3: I think he dominates her in the box, she dominates,

she dominates him. I was thinking more for corners.

Speaker 1: I don't know.

Speaker 3: She's not sure.

Speaker 2: Yeah, but Newcastle is a big body, but she can't.

Speaker 5: But no, I agree with what you guys are saying though.

If she gets in the boxes, it's.

Speaker 1: Her box.

Speaker 5: She is gonna be way too strong for him, Like

she's gonna her ability to finish is just going to

be in almost unmatchable in this.

Speaker 1: I mean, when you get inside his box.

Speaker 4: Just nothing than that, like just her gloves.

Speaker 1: Well, that depends what do you think the goaltenders are rocking?

Speaker 5: I mean it's off, yeah, but.

Speaker 4: Like it's one of the hidden skins.

Speaker 1: Yeah.

Speaker 5: I would just assume that her ability to finish with

her box game is just so much better than everyone else. Like,

you know, Newcastle doesn't have the ability to finish like

she does. Right, She's gonna do it and then go

again and again and again. And Newcastle might he might

get it once, he might finish once, maybe twice inside

the box.

Speaker 1: But like she's.

Speaker 5: Gonna finish and get through that like five, six, seven times,

and it's gonna be explosive to like, it's gonna be insane.

The way she does it is just the momentum everything

to build up.

Speaker 1: It's gonna be an explosive finish.

Speaker 2: When you finish inside the box. When you when, I

mean when she's finishing inside the box, busting in you

now when now, when she's finishing inside that box. The

thing you got to remember is he's not stopping it.

There's just no way, no way.

Speaker 1: You can't. You can't stop it. You can't stop there's

too much momentum, too much build up, too much. No

one can stop it. It's it's uncontrollable. It's uncontrolled.

Speaker 3: Yeah, she's too aggressive in the box.

Speaker 2: And there's no fear of injury because her A c

L is literally a tire emission a tire, it's a

fucking wheel.

Speaker 1: It's just like, what are you supposed to do? What

are you supposed to do?

Speaker 2: The only thing you can do is maybe tell her

she has a bad haircut, try to get under her skin.

Speaker 3: She just got a banger skin. So she did get

a banger skin.

Speaker 2: She's looking like Lucier, looks nice in that skin, doesn't

look like ship.

Speaker 1: And I'm gonna say it, her cut's kind of growing

on me.

Speaker 3: I caught some heat on TikTok really cut. I saw

some comments I kind of.

Speaker 2: I'm kindly I'm kind of liking the cut recently. No,

I'm enjoying the cut.

Speaker 4: The baby bags, she's what German?

Speaker 3: German?

Speaker 1: Uh, yes, I think so.

Speaker 3: I think you're the loure she is.

Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't really think there's any way we could

spin this.

Speaker 2: I think she's destroying. I think this is just going

to be one of those games where it was a

good story from Newcastle, like a Cape Verdet they had

a good time. They they got further than they got,

further than they expected even you could even say in

Norway and a USA, even USA, even they got further

than they expected to, further than a lot of people

expected them to. They had some easier matchups than other

teams did and they were able to take advantage of it.

Speaker 1: Nothing to be ashamed of.

Speaker 2: But I do think that this is going to be

a romping, like just just destroying.

Speaker 5: It's just a slot. Yeah, no competition.

Speaker 1: I hate.

Speaker 5: We wanted to try to find a way, but no,

there's no way. You just can't keep up with that

ability to finish.

Speaker 3: No, no, no, you cannot.

Speaker 5: Now without pulling out some party tricks. And sorry Newcastle,

he got size, but we don't have the tricks.

Speaker 3: He doesn't have the tricks. He has no tricks.

Speaker 2: Moving on into the second matchup here Sparrow he had

a buye taking on Fuse.

Speaker 5: Now, if you want to talk about people who have

the tricks, that's Sparrow, that's Sparrow.

Speaker 2: Sparrow's got the tricks. The jumps, the jumps which is

a passive.

Speaker 3: We've been informed that is a soccer player.

Speaker 5: Apparently apparently is a soccer player, has played soccer before fuse.

I think he would be your uncle who constantly shits

on soccer.

Speaker 1: Still but still a few legends.

Speaker 5: That is a good counter to the aerial attacks, being

able to hit them with grenades in the air and

stun the mid air that.

Speaker 3: Is going to go past them.

Speaker 5: Bro, he shoots like a fucking rocket. You're not hitting

and he's point blank next to them. It's shooting straight.

I mean it's pretty close.

Speaker 3: Dog fuses as Bro.

Speaker 4: I don't know.

Speaker 3: I mean.

Speaker 4: I think Sparrow has the best chance to hit a

bicycle kick into the goal.

Speaker 2: I think Sparrow also has more skill. I think Sparrow

tack has more tacticals. I think Sparrow, well, I don't

think the tackles do ships attacked.

Speaker 3: It's like it's like a you know the definition attack.

It's like a word.

Speaker 2: Yeah, It's like it's like finesse. It's like yeah, it's

like finesse.

Speaker 3: Oh okay, uh was like he's got more finesse, more athleticism,

you know, better hair, better hair, way better hair.

Speaker 5: Not fatter ass yet drunk. I think Sparrow, like, I

think Sparrow is a powerhouse in those Sparrow likely wins

the scenario that Sparrow doesn't lose, it's just the lack

of ability to maintain possession of the ball. And that's

if Fuse is getting some nasty nids off, some nasty tax.

Speaker 9: And you got to.

Speaker 2: For the whole throw in still is a real thing.

But we have to remember that last week we said

the throw in strategy has to be he shoots the

ball from you and he has to get a touch first.

Speaker 5: Yeah, but like corners all that, Sparrow's just like not

even corners, but you know what I mean, like taking

so much that can be done there, and then the

ability to also like it's again, he's one of the

few legends that has the ability to be combative with

Sparrow while still on the ground. Remember, you don't have

to actually do you just have to detonate it near

Sparrow mess up to play whatever it is.

Speaker 1: We'll probably see some haram ball, definitely.

Speaker 2: I do think absolutely, I do think what we would

see maybe would be a game where there's a clear favorite,

but you're looking at it, it's the sixty eighth minute,

it's still zero zero. The possession has been dominated by Sparrow,

but he just hasn't been able to put one in.

I think maybe he gets one like seventy third. I

can also see ending two to oh, but it's one

to oh up until.

Speaker 3: Like the ninetieth Yeah, up until the end, like ninetieth

or something, just spending it.

Speaker 5: And Sparrow just closes it out when you're about to

go into extra time and everyone knows how the game is.

Speaker 3: Fusees drinking beers for the hydration break.

Speaker 5: Yeah, like we know how it's going on it and

it's just one of those things. Fuse is likely out

last year. Yeah, but I think Fuse is going to

have much better defense against Sparrow than most people would be.

Speaker 1: Able to do.

Speaker 5: You think he gets a goal, He might get a

throw goal, He might get a throwing goal. I don't

like the equivalence of that for what he does.

Speaker 3: Because I feel like Sparrow just intercepts any any throw

in he I think takes.

Speaker 2: Fuse is more likely to get a red card than

he is a goal.

Speaker 1: I agree. I agree with that.

Speaker 3: So maybe you know, step on a on a calf, Yeah,

I think they get called for it.

Speaker 4: Like he is more likely to play dirty than.

Speaker 2: And Fuse is completely resistant to flopping. He's not gonna

do it. And sometimes in soccer, you gotta.

Speaker 5: You gotta flop a little bit, you got you gotta

embellish it, embellish a little bit.

Speaker 2: But he's not gonna do it. In fact, he'd probably

fight back, you know what. It might be like the

game I think it was France versus Paraguay.

Speaker 3: And Paraguaya just so that's what we were watching there

where they were just it was over pretty much. There's like,

we're just gonna fuck these guys.

Speaker 1: So that game was Mexico's curses might have been. Who

was it.

Speaker 3: Mexico versus wasn't Uruguay or anything.

Speaker 2: No, I don't Maybe it was Uruguay. I'll look it up,

but yeah, exactly that type of game.

Speaker 3: They were losing and they're like, you know what, we're

just gonna fucking mug These guys beat the shit out.

Speaker 1: It was Ecuador. It was Ecuador.

Speaker 5: Yeah, they got to I think Ecuador got a red

card because the guy was covering his mouth while he

but the whole game they were just trying to dominate.

Speaker 3: The funniest thing about this World Cup is just realizing

how much South America hates each other.

Speaker 2: Yeah, oh, just so much. Yeah, they all despise each other.

And then Argentina and England play tomorrow and they hate

each other. They have like a they have a bad

history of England with one another.

Speaker 3: I can't believe I'm saying it. Yeah, we all rooting

for England.

Speaker 1: Right, are we?

Speaker 3: I'm rooting for England.

Speaker 1: I know. I'm sure Donnie's not.

Speaker 2: I'm assuming most people hate most American soccer fans and

most like Americans in general.

Speaker 1: I would say, just don't like England.

Speaker 3: Well that's I hate that I have to root for England.

But I mean it's Argentina.

Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not given the cup. I think that.

Speaker 1: I mean they're being given the cup.

Speaker 4: Okay.

Speaker 3: The president of the FIFA literally came out and said

he was rooting for Argentina. Not a good look, Not

something you should say as the leader of the governing body. Dude,

straight up looks like a turtle.

Speaker 1: Is he from Argentina?

Speaker 5: Like?

Speaker 1: Is there? I think the bias.

Speaker 3: Don't think you know it because Messi is playing bro

Le's goat. Let's goat talk, which I don't know. This

might hurt his legacy this cup. No it's not, it's

not his fault.

Speaker 1: He intentional to hurt his legacy.

Speaker 2: No, no, if anything, everybody was making fun of mess

you for being in the MLS, saying he was like

washed more washing Ronaldo, And then he came out to

this tournament playing against the best players in the world,

and he still showed out showing that he could play

in Europe if he really wanted to.

Speaker 3: But he just doesn't.

Speaker 2: He literally was he he doesn't want to do it.

Speaker 4: Okay, so Rinaldo might be.

Speaker 3: His teammates wouldn't pass to him, Like.

Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think you know what's what I'm talking about.

I do know.

Speaker 3: Which was egregious. That was bad he did No, it

was like he had a wide open shot.

Speaker 5: Yeah, he's like calling for the pass, and I think

it would have tied the game.

Speaker 3: It would have tied the game.

Speaker 1: Did you get greeny or something?

Speaker 4: The guy shooting.

Speaker 3: It's something about these like country team players, the national

team players that they see like this the star of

the team, and they're like, nah, thank you, Like now

I'm gonna make a name, goot to make and then

he just gets fucking muffed. He gets stuffed. It was bad.

Speaker 2: It was It would have been like it would have

been an easy tap in for for Earling. So what

do you guys think? What do you think here, guys?

Is Sparrow Sparrow. I got Sparrow to zero from gotta be.

It's gotta be Sparrow. But I feel like it's got

to be. So Sparrow moves on and it will be

Sparrow versus Axl.

Speaker 3: That'll be a fire that's gonna be. It's gonna be

a crazy match. That could be the final. Damn near

yeah that we might see the final before the finals.

This might be a Seahawks version.

Speaker 4: I don't know.

Speaker 3: This other side of the bracket is actually crazy.

Speaker 2: The other side of the brackets also good.

Speaker 1: Let's see.

Speaker 5: Let's kick it off with the first matchup from the

other side. We've got Valk versus Pathfinder.

Speaker 3: This is a tough one. I have an opinion.

Speaker 4: Double grapple, go ahead.

Speaker 3: I think it's Valk. Okay, tell me why you've got

jet packs for everyone. It's a passive in the box.

You've got a rocket launcher stunt outside the box, which

is tough. I mean, while Pathfinder has no passive to

be heard of, and all he has is two grapples

across the whole team.

Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, get you pretty fun.

Speaker 3: We decided that is handball right side.

Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, but the double grapple, it is a lot,

a lot.

Speaker 1: But oh, I know, you can't use grapp on the

box the problem. So you can use the momentum.

Speaker 4: You can the momentum yourself into the box.

Speaker 5: But like even then he's plane in outside of the goalie.

He is almost exclusively playing out of the box with

the attempt to attack from the outside. Now you know

what I mean, Like he's chasing ball into the box.

Speaker 2: The double grapple does not mean the same player has

to use GPS.

Speaker 3: You get one two across across the however, yeah, it's

just a flat cap of twenty.

Speaker 4: The other thing also I'm thinking, is Duck's not catching pathfinder. No,

you have a fat grapple the catch the break.

Speaker 1: You can go in the air. Yeah, but like how

how much until you get off sides?

Speaker 4: No, but like that offsides only counts it after they

kick the ball. You can go ahead of him. So

if they kick it and then he grapples himself in

front of them, fuck not catching him.

Speaker 1: Yeah, that is a big that's a big factor.

Speaker 3: I get that.

Speaker 5: The breakaways are there because you can have it's not

just one Pathfinder doing it's too Yeah he's a robot too,

and yeah, man, that's tough, but he's.

Speaker 2: The thing is this, Let's just say that's a big thing.

Speaker 3: It's a different robot. I'd be like, you know what,

let's just say what this is.

Speaker 2: I think that this for sure is going to extra

time at least.

Speaker 5: I don't know if it goes to it's high scoring.

I think I think two very high scoring games.

Speaker 2: Because Pathfinder has to worry about anything in his own box,

anything corner.

Speaker 5: Yeah, he about to experience things he never even knew exactly.

Man's getting his oil changed.

Speaker 2: And then on the other side of things, Pathfinder can

easily easily manipulate the ground game, like he can kick

a few balls in the air to see if valc

will go up and then immediately switch it back down

to the ground and still have the grapple to catch up.

And I don't think off sides is ever going to

play a factor because the amount of jump you can

get the second he kicks the ball with that grapple,

he's going to be getting behind the defensive.

Speaker 5: Line handball, a yellow card or something no, they just

stop it. So if he loses, Here's here's another thing.

If he's entering and has a bad position with Valk

playing ball in the air, he could handball just to

reset it.

Speaker 1: No, he can't do it in the box. Handball in

the box.

Speaker 5: I'm saying, like the palty in the field or whatever

it is. Valc has a good shot and he's at

range and not in position. He could just handball it right,

grab the ball with grab and just to drop the

ball dead. He could play some really just outs just

outside the box. Valve approaches bos rules, Valk approaches box,

he handballs it down, says no, we're gonna play on

mic turn.

Speaker 3: Is there a point like you have so many handballs

where they just carved you. I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 1: I've never like seen enough.

Speaker 3: This is a disgrace to the game right now, I.

Speaker 5: Would assume, but you got to assume that it's all

different players. So how many times does each player need

to do?

Speaker 2: Now it's technically unethical ball, But if you think about it,

like if somebody can fucking fly and you can't, that's pretty.

Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah I get that.

Speaker 5: And like the other option is pathwinder goes up there

and bodies the hell out of everybody, and it's.

Speaker 1: A robots.

Speaker 5: Pathfinder if he wanted to could take some swipes in

the air. It's definitely of the two options, I'd be like, wrap,

here's your options, and the Rep's gonna be like, got it,

and you know, Pathwinder the immediately after doing that, it's gonna.

Speaker 1: Go sorry, friend, I went for a high five.

Speaker 3: Yeah. Like Also, I feel like Zalk would cover her

mouth at least once, say some ship or something crazy.

Speaker 5: That's fucking great. But I think this is a lot closer.

Path has some incredible defensive abilities. If he's going to

play unethical ball, which I think against these higher ends,

he's gonna need to.

Speaker 3: Would he He's too happy go lucky to play.

Speaker 1: On ethically and offensively.

Speaker 5: There's not many that are gonna have the ability to

scorn a path Under when they both have so much

momentum going into the box, have the ability to do

incredible breakaways. And it's not just one legend, it's two

that can do it. Valk can play slow and walk

it up probably easier. But what that means is path

Rounder has more times to land grapples, and he has

a panic switch of just actually grappling.

Speaker 4: I will say Devil's advocate, though she does have stun rockets.

Speaker 3: She's got stunned rocket talked about it.

Speaker 1: But grapple gets rid of stunt.

Speaker 4: Yeah, but that but if she stuns you after you

grap it yourself, they can use that to catch up to.

Speaker 1: They have two grapples, try one stunt. And also she

can't use that in the box.

Speaker 5: Right, So like it doesn't matter on that end. He's

still a nine hundred pound robot. That's giant. I think

would take somebody's hand clean off too. He's able to

get it, arguably the tallest frame in the entire game.

But they just stand in front of the but in

front of the goal, the goal, and stand in front

of the goal.

Speaker 4: I think he is, but I mean he's still nine

hundred pounds.

Speaker 3: Yeah, like yeah, I.

Speaker 5: Mean, yeah, it's not going through his hand. If it

hits his hand, it doesn't matter if he's glove or not.

It's not going through there.

Speaker 3: Yeah, he just pops the ball. They run out.

Speaker 4: What do you guys? What do you guys?

Speaker 5: I'm still thinking I'm leaning Path. I'm thinking Path, I

vote Path.

Speaker 2: I'm leaning paths strictly, because I do feel like valk

is gonna dominate possession of the ball and she's gonna

be kicking it around because to be honest with you,

going up in the air like that's helpful, But when

you're just trying to set up something inside the attacking zone,

I don't think it's going to help you that much.

Speaker 1: I think she's gonna mess up.

Speaker 2: And on the counter, Pathfinder is gonna have two grapples

to get behind and be able to make.

Speaker 3: Something out of it. She owns corners, she does own,

but any ball that's kicked slightly in the air.

Speaker 4: Sheer speed that you could get on a breakaway. The

grapple is.

Speaker 1: Hold on in this matchup, no question question.

Speaker 3: Corner.

Speaker 5: If a handball happens, does it go to like a

cornerkick in that situation to.

Speaker 1: Kick in the box, it goes to a penalty.

Speaker 5: Okay, so you can't. What I'm saying is corner kicks

not inside the box. So if there's a Pathfinder in

front and just they go to cornerkick and do they

just grab the damn ball again? Unethical ball? Is that

what happens there is that? Does that go to another

corner kick and they say, don't fucking do that, or

or just stop ball drop right there, and you have

an awful penalty kick to be able to do there.

Speaker 4: It's basically just a closer corner kick.

Speaker 2: A handball penalty is awarded when a defending player deliberately

or legally touches the ball with their hand or arm

inside their own penalty box. Okay, that wasn't what I'm

looking for.

Speaker 3: Okay.

Speaker 2: A handball if a player intentionally moves their arm towards

the ball or positions it unnaturally, potentially leading to a

penalty kick. Immediate goals scored with the hand or arm

are also disallowed. Conversely, penalties are generally not awarded for

accidental contacts, which is ball deflecting off a player's body

or when the arm is position naturally close to the body,

like during a fall.

Speaker 5: I mean that's okay, So what happens when a handball

does happen?

Speaker 1: Like, what's the results?

Speaker 3: Let's see this penalty kick that's in the box.

Speaker 1: That's in the box. What about outside the box?

Speaker 4: You get a free kick?

Speaker 3: You get a free kick?

Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so they're gonna get a free kick.

Speaker 4: You basically Brian, you just give them a corner kick,

but in this thing.

Speaker 5: In a better spot probably yeah, yeah, but you can

be and they can score from it if they wanted to.

Speaker 1: I guess that doesn't help.

Speaker 4: So corner kicks. Yeah, balk owns corner kicks because okay,

she can fly above Pathfinder and path Fighter cannot use

the grapple in the box.

Speaker 5: The only thing I could think is on corner kick,

you grapple yourself at the defender.

Speaker 4: From outside the box.

Speaker 5: From outside the box, you grapple corner kick. You grapple

yourself at the defender, and your frame is so large

in their face that the the area they actually have

to shoot is so off angled.

Speaker 4: I'm gonna be honest. You just you're blocking windows.

Speaker 5: It's like, uh, this timing has to be What is

Pathfinder we're talking think about?

Speaker 3: Remember always say Fox up every job he does.

Speaker 5: I agree, I don't think it's gonna be as bad

as you think. Think of a when you're throwing in

a pass in basketball, right and the defender stands right

in front of you. They're not actually trying to block

the pass, like to a degree they are, but really

what they're trying to do is just close out windows,

so you can't get a good pass off.

Speaker 1: You have to go weird angles and stuff like that.

Speaker 5: That makes that's all it is, because all you have

to do you don't have to actually block the pass,

You have to block the passing lane.

Speaker 1: His frame is large enough to do that on there.

Speaker 3: Okay.

Speaker 2: So here's the penalties and cards that can happen with

the handball outside of the box. So it results in

a direct free kick, the opposing team is awarded a

direct free kick from the exact spot where the handball occurred.

Card considerations. Handballs outside of the box can draw a

yellow or red, depending on the context. If the deliberate

handball denies the opposing team an obvious goal scoring opportunity,

the player will be sent off.

Speaker 1: Okay.

Speaker 2: If the deliberate handball stops a promising attack but does

not completely deny a clear goal scoring chance, the player

may may receive a yellow card and no card. If

the goalkeeper had control of the ball inside the box

but their momentum carried them outside while holding it is

a free kick is called, but no card is specifically issue.

Speaker 3: So he's getting carded if he does that.

Speaker 5: So okay, In that case. Yeah, the argument for all

of that goes out. See I don't know soccer, Yeah,

I don't know.

Speaker 4: I think she owns quarter kicks, definitely.

Speaker 3: I own.

Speaker 5: I think even the idea of her getting better position

in the air and pathfinder being able to neutralize it

just goes out the window. Like now it's a race

of who can score the most, who gets the better.

She's gonna be slow ball control all the way down,

and he's gonna be getting an opportunity to get in

front and fast breakaway.

Speaker 2: I still think he on the counter, he's gonna be

much more dangerous. I just think he's gonna be much breakaway.

Speaker 4: He's better.

Speaker 1: But I think her mistakes are going to be more

costly than his.

Speaker 3: Much more.

Speaker 4: I think if she scores early though, and just plays

haram ball, like.

Speaker 3: I don't think.

Speaker 2: I actually think that might go to his advantage because

if she tries to play haram ball with his big frame,

it's not like he can't also do corners.

Speaker 5: He can bully the hell out of her inside the ball.

Like because look here's the thing. Op, Yes, she can

go in the air, but in her own box going

that high, it makes no difference.

Speaker 1: Yeah, he can keep it on this.

Speaker 5: He's just like, I'll just keep it on the ground

and absolutely dominate the shit out of you down here. True,

So like he just has to the ball. He could

play a very controlling, offensive game like that. They want

to play actual ball. Oh, the pathliners got it all

day in that. Yeah, that's what I actually.

Speaker 2: If I'm her, I'm like, if I score, I have

to keep my foot on the gas pedal, which once

again could get you attacked on the counter.

Speaker 5: Yeah, which, and I think he's very good at the counter,

arguably one of the best at a counter score.

Speaker 4: Yeah, I think him, and I think him and Axel

probably the best on the counter. I think we're going

also a hold on time out.

Speaker 5: Had Octan not make it in here, eliminated by Ash,

I believe you remember, like, no.

Speaker 3: No passive, no stem.

Speaker 1: The stem is great, but you can't stem in the box.

Speaker 3: And we have teather on Ash.

Speaker 2: He was.

Speaker 1: Bad matchup. It was. It was tough.

Speaker 2: He remember, Ash passive also dashes around, and there's no

limit on those.

Speaker 1: Everybody can dash. He literally just went against a better

version of him.

Speaker 2: If Octane literally played almost anybody else.

Speaker 5: He would have been like, just got the I was

just thinking about it because I was like, that's another

legend that'd be good at breakaways.

Speaker 2: Yeah, and we did mention that, but we also said,

like Ash with the teather and also the dash to

get up to him.

Speaker 4: Ash Teather just absolutely fucks.

Speaker 3: That for breakaway completely. So I've got path. It sounds

like we still have path.

Speaker 1: You guys got path.

Speaker 3: I don't. Chris, I'm dying on this though.

Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm thinking.

Speaker 2: I mean, when Chris thinks about fucking Valk, he's just

like thinking.

Speaker 3: She's so special.

Speaker 5: This is the most diabolical thing we've Chris thoughts.

Speaker 2: Next match, perhaps final match, Ash versus Revenant, double robot,

double evil, double attitude. It's fucking gnarly this matchup.

Speaker 3: I have low key gut Ash here.

Speaker 2: I I think I do as well. I think I have.

Speaker 3: I think honestly, just the jump being her passive is dull.

Speaker 2: It's really like, okay, let's let's go through both. Let's

let's look at if Revenant were to win, what would

he do correct huge, huge, He plays thee, he plays

the plays the.

Speaker 5: Box, he goes hard, uses his side pretty much is

his leverage and his aggression to be able to bully.

Speaker 3: Her the same, the same as Pathfinder attacking from outside

the box.

Speaker 1: He's Pathfinder, he's another path just he has.

Speaker 4: Being one tack though blows passive passive. The whole team

his passive as.

Speaker 5: Really that's it, like he's he's super vul because is

bad super vulnerable to fast break on the other side against.

Speaker 3: Ash and which stops him on the break.

Speaker 5: Pathfinder didn't have that issue against Valk because Valk didn't

have the ability to fast break like that, but uh

Ash absolutely does for her whole team.

Speaker 1: Ash is a heavy hitter in this well, I think.

Speaker 3: It might be a scrappy one too.

Speaker 1: This is gonna be, this is gonna be the ref

is getting killed.

Speaker 4: I think. I think the reason why Vals is kind

of bad is just because I think she could have

played anybody else and she would have been like the winner.

But because Pathfinder has two grapples, you could stun him

once and then you could just grapple again and get

the hell out of it.

Speaker 2: It's also like Valk, Yes, she can fly, I don't

think that's as dangerous as like the dash, like a

whole team with dashes.

Speaker 5: And that's the big thing is that so path or

Rev can use body, be big, be strong.

Speaker 1: All that kind of stuff. One Ash is still a robot,

you know, but.

Speaker 5: Two is more fast, has the ability to consistently create space.

Speaker 1: She will always have space.

Speaker 4: I'm also gonna just say this against Ash. She got

small feet.

Speaker 2: Yeah, and they're kind of curved, not the easiest to

kick the ball with. But also you're not kicking a

ball ahead on you're turning your foot inside your foot

and you're kicking it that way where you know.

Speaker 5: Revenant now he's got some big I will say Rev

inside the box. Rev is very strong, especially right next

to the goal, like right next to the goal, same

argument as Pathfinder. Very large frame, very heavy frame, and

can literally just clamp down har ball on this big time.

Speaker 2: I will say, Ash might have and this might be

the only team that has a difference maker like this

at this position set. Ash might have the best goalie

in the entire turn because of the death.

Speaker 3: Vertical.

Speaker 1: I agree.

Speaker 2: But now on the Revenant side of things, Revenant might

be the character with the longest arms, which means the

goalie might not be that much.

Speaker 3: And he's got a long wingspan, so it's he's got.

Speaker 5: A good goal can he he also can technically climb

the goal if he ever needs to very quickly.

Speaker 1: I guess he got I don't know.

Speaker 5: I don't know the rule on that either, but I

guess tech I guess he could climb the goal to

get different to like protect different corners and stuff more effectively.

Speaker 3: I don't know that coming into play.

Speaker 1: I don't see. Yeah, very very very niche situation. I

doubt it matters.

Speaker 4: See. The thing that I brought up earlier though, is

like Pathfinder's got two He's only got one. Yeah, so

I think even if he gets a breakaway, she just

as Taylor's him and then he's.

Speaker 3: And he's got to charge that shit up.

Speaker 2: He's got to charge it up, which is a lot

harder to kind of like set up for than Pathfinds.

Speaker 3: It's like a worst Pathfinder.

Speaker 1: Pathfinders is super quick.

Speaker 4: Yeah, and he can.

Speaker 2: Pathfinder can really like Revenan can do this too, but

it's a little bit more finicky like path can. Really,

it's so easy to decide how far you want to

go with path yea, Yeah, you could really fake a

defender the fuck out and have them tripping over their

own feet by stopping your momentum instantly and like rev

it's like you got to charge up the correct amount

and like trying to kind of figure out how you

want to go about it, how to aim it, all

that kind of stuff. Path is Like the funniest thing

about Path is he could just hold his grapple in

the ground and go in circles and really fuck you up.

Speaker 5: Oh no, like the one shot. You think it's one

shot up here, No, it's like seven. If he doesn't

hit you one time, wherever you pass to do, he's

just going.

Speaker 2: To re imagine him swinging in a circle outside the

box and they just launch it up to him and

he hits it like a ceiling fan hits a balloon

straight in the back.

Speaker 1: Of the That that can absolutely happen.

Speaker 2: Now, Ash, Like we said, great goalie, Dash Tether Tether

Ash is the better ballplayer.

Speaker 3: Yeah.

Speaker 5: I think can do again some dirty tactics. He can

move and play well. I think he can play very,

very lockdown defense. But his offense is just going to

be lacking.

Speaker 1: Yeah.

Speaker 5: I think he's lacking big time on the offense here.

Like he's not used to being on his back foot.

He is always going to be on his back foot

in this but I do think he can play some

dirty defense and dirty No no ref is calling this

single penalty in this game.

Speaker 2: Or if they do, it's going to be double red,

double red, double red at the end of the game.

Speaker 1: Open up.

Speaker 2: It could be that it could be that both the

same thing I said about Ash and Rev. Where the

goalie difference might not be as big as you might think.

It might be the same with the attitude. We know

that Revenant is an evil guy. Ash is not that

far worse.

Speaker 4: Might be worse.

Speaker 3: She couldn't get to bring the rat.

Speaker 1: The rat that does a rat make a difference?

Speaker 4: I mean, does she gets sword? She gets a mascot.

Speaker 3: Sword is part of so that wouldn't work.

Speaker 1: No sword, just checking Yeah, uh also helps defending.

Speaker 2: I feel like.

Speaker 1: In my head on my head is just telling me

as I feel.

Speaker 4: Like I'm gonna be honest, Like I think if Rev

had a second jump, I think it would be Revenue

a little closer. It'd be a little closer. But I

think just because he has one.

Speaker 1: That's the big difference. Yeah, I could be interested like.

Speaker 4: The path to two grapples thing like that is that

beats out a stun whereas if you don't have that, you're.

Speaker 5: Just we're completely forgetting about tether. We haven't even mentioned tether.

It's not close.

Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, tether is something we've barely talked about,

and it's like such a big.

Speaker 5: He literally he has to literally save his jump for

tether and even then jump as slow.

Speaker 1: Yes, it's slow to active. Yeah, it's not even close.

It's a wash.

Speaker 2: I think it's I think it's ash, which leaves us

moving over to our final four.

Speaker 3: Newcastle versus I put Newcastle.

Speaker 1: Sorry that Axle versus Sparrow.

Speaker 3: Oh my bangers.

Speaker 1: Both of those are two bangers, massive mass.

Speaker 2: Just like this World Cup, the top four seeds made

the final four, which usually doesn't happen. I know our

seeds were randomized, but if you looked at this on paper,

if we seeded these out, these might have been the top.

Speaker 1: Maybe Octane gets.

Speaker 3: In there, squeezes like a five.

Speaker 1: Maybe initial thoughts. Maggie looked really flashy, and yeah we did,

he looked until we started setting up the rules. Yeah, yeah, yeah,

the same thing. Like Watson. You can things with Watson

just didn't pan out for a lot of them.

Speaker 3: You know, some of them had some tough matches.

Speaker 4: I agree with that someone's got got by the by

the one count.

Speaker 3: Someone's got to you know, play the one seed at

some point and you know, yeah lucky.

Speaker 5: And you know what, I think that some of the

other seeds had to do with the matchups, like again,

cost of getting demoed by the one counter infuse.

Speaker 1: Like that's just some bad luck.

Speaker 3: You know you're looking at it, be like you gotta

chalk that up to the seating, you know, you know, and.

Speaker 1: Just it is what it is. But guess what, that's

how that's one.

Speaker 2: I guess that that's how the cookie prumbles. Bro Ladies

and gentlemen. Those are our matchups. We have our final,

uh not our final. We have of our what would

you call it semi final next week. We got the

semis next week and then we have our final. The

World Cup should be over by that point, but we

will have our final and that one will be crazy.

Just looking at this, I honestly don't know what I

would pick for either of these two. I feel like

I have.

Speaker 1: An idea, have to be a lot of deliberation.

Speaker 5: Ash first pathfinder my became of the dude that's for

the century God.

Speaker 4: That's like I think is gonna be tough too.

Speaker 2: That one's also gonna be tough. That one's also gonna

be tough. All right, Well, ladies and gents, that should

just about do it for the Apex Legends World Cup.

We're gonna send it on down to the voicemails and

send you on the rest of your week. But before

we do that, I wanted to just quickly go over

something on this day and grab my banner History.

Speaker 3: Boys. I looked up.

Speaker 2: I mean, we're almost at six years. August twenty first

will be our six year anniversary. That was our first episode,

and I was going through and I was seeing if

we had any episodes on on July fourteenth, which is

when we're recording today, and I found one and it

happened to be an episode with a very specific argument

that we've talked about for a long time between Troy

and Kyle. So I'm curious on this day and grab

my banner History destroy erect. That's what you'll have to

figure it out. So let's get a Let's get a

quick little uh trip down memory lane real quick.

Speaker 4: They just want the easiest point and shoot weapon. They

can fucking get the one that requires the least amount

of brain cells, and that's what they welcome to pcb

off the dope. There's wrong within.

Speaker 9: They can't charge.

Speaker 4: They can't get this spit fire anymore, so they just

getting the charge.

Speaker 10: You need to really calm your kits because that ship

is absolutely way shittier listen than every other in every

other sniper track, it's literally all aiming and tracking. Let

me have to keep it on the target the whole time.

Speaker 5: Let me rephrase that you can't do no no if

you're listen only in low SBMM lobbies.

Speaker 4: Do they play the charts?

Speaker 9: You stupid?

Speaker 1: Do you want to know what I do to charge

rifle kids?

Speaker 4: You lose to them like you lose everyone else.

Speaker 1: Don't you give me this year this week?

Speaker 2: But I put smoke on their ass and bum rush

them because you can't do ship up close.

Speaker 3: That I see. I disagree.

Speaker 4: I could do a lot with the charge rifle.

Speaker 2: Really, if you could attach some sort of possibly animal

or mythical creature to the charge rifle, what would it be?

Speaker 4: Don't say the dragon writers, you punk ass bitch, because

we would never use that fucking ship ass gun.

Speaker 3: You played a lot of Halo, right, I played a

lot of Halo too. I played.

Speaker 4: I played a lot of hard It's completely is.

Speaker 9: It is?

Speaker 4: Literally it is the same. Then how is it not?

Speaker 3: Please explain it?

Speaker 10: Because the beam is red.

Speaker 4: Let me tell you what's going on. Okay, So the

charge rifle, let me explain to you. This is why it's

a punk ass bitch weapon. If you shoot somebody with it,

it stuns them, and then you just followed them as

they're being stunned and then shoot them with a giant blast.

The Spartan laser did not have a laser before it.

When you shoot it, you had to charge it and

it had to shoot the one shot, the one blast

that it takes. Now it's you had to shoot that thing.

It was such accuracy to fucking kill somebody. It was insane.

Speaker 10: Way, it's just as insane. It's just as insane.

Speaker 4: Yes it is. It's you.

Speaker 10: You fucking sold people down with heavy m Dude, don't

act like that's a fucking charge rifle.

Speaker 1: Exclusive What world are you living?

Speaker 4: God say, dude, you don't even go there. That's ship.

Speaker 10: That's why it's it's difficult to get one hundred percent

hit with that burst. No, I would like to see

any dragon Rider to a motherfucking three sixty and hit

a burst off of that.

Speaker 3: You couldn't.

Speaker 4: I couldn't.

Speaker 11: Yeah, because you're a dragon writer. Say that to the

dragon writer. I am dude, what the fuck? You can't

say it? You can't use a charge rifle as a

dragon writer. I'm gonna be a part of the Dragon writers.

You can't use get out of the dragon rider?

Speaker 4: Do you mean that?

Speaker 1: Are you?

Speaker 4: You're serious? Him out right now, fucking three sixty hitting

the rout. God will not take you.

Speaker 10: I don't even want Brian, I that is I literally

would rather charge load up the bitch weapon.

Speaker 4: And I don't care what anybody says.

Speaker 10: It's not a fucking bitch weapon.

Speaker 1: No, it's not in any way.

Speaker 11: Troy.

Speaker 1: Uh, How you are you gonna go back to the world?

Are you just a what are you gonna do? You're

on your ass right now because you won't pay. You

just banned or you try to disband the work courses.

Speaker 9: I don't take you.

Speaker 10: I don't even care dragon writers. I don't even I

didn't disband ship. I literally just said I know I didn't.

Speaker 4: All I said was all I said was I'm stepping back.

Speaker 1: I kept the seat warm.

Speaker 12: For you.

Speaker 4: I don't I don't want to listen.

Speaker 10: You want to start a new I'm not starting to

faction any of this bullshit. All right, there's no reason here,

you know what I think. Here's my here's my fucking

personal ethos. All right, if you want to, if you

want to share it with me, that's great. But we

don't have to call ourselves anything because it's just it's

just down home. I'm the fucking corn I'm the Cornbread clan.

Speaker 1: You don't got to call it.

Speaker 6: Try.

Speaker 1: Just gave yourself a name literally down home.

Speaker 2: Even try and you did down Home, the down Home

Cornbread Clans.

Speaker 4: See baby ce, see me put me on that email.

All right.

Speaker 10: We need to stop throwing shade at each other for

using guns during the motherfucking game. If you're gonna say,

I have a fucking map, but I like it, and

now all of a sudden, I don't like it anymore

because people are using guns that they're allowed to use

in the game, and that they're spending money on, like

I spending on all my bullshit.

Speaker 4: That's stupid. If you, if you're punk ass goes into artillery,

if your punk ass goes into artillery, and you sit

on top of the building and you use the chart

rifle and shoot all the fuckers down below and don't

push because you're a fat bitch. I'm telling you right now,

you're not allowed on the dragon Riders.

Speaker 10: There's so many fucking mechanics think prevent that from being

a problem. All right, listen, there's a circle to close it.

You can't be a fat bitch forever. Also, what are.

Speaker 4: You doing running around down below? If you know it's

what they're doing, Kyle, Why the.

Speaker 10: Fuck you're not waiting behind cover and peeking them with

the sentinel and peeking them with the bow.

Speaker 4: Or it doesn't matter picking with anything because I get

stunned when I peak, and then I get shot in

the fucking head because they're like, oh, I'm just gonna.

Speaker 10: Getting Getting stunned doesn't mean you can't shoot because my

boy can't handle a whittle Waser beam.

Speaker 4: It's not. First of all, it ain't a whitt Waser

beam because it fucking slows you and then shoots your ass.

Speaker 11: Troy always slows you like half the fucking weapons of

the game, but it's not half the fucking.

Speaker 4: God heavy gun. Just every heavy gun stipers, I play

around it because I'm better than those fuckers. You can

tell you around this, you can't play around the wager ba.

I play around the way, but I don't want to.

I didn't say say lazy take coffeways.

Speaker 5: Alright, Oh shit, okay, alright, so let's get back to.

Speaker 1: The get back to the rankings.

Speaker 3: Troy, you want to hit it with your rankings.

Speaker 2: Oh yeah, ranking that was Uh that was July fourteenth,

twenty twenty one. Wow, holy shit, that was twenty twenty one,

episode forty four. In the name of the episode was

the down Home corn Bread Cowboys. Now for some context

for people who don't know, back in the early days

of GMB, when Troy was here, most of you guys

know Troy, but if you don't, he was our first

uh like super producer or so to speak.

Speaker 3: He was just on the show. He didn't produce shit.

Speaker 2: Uh, pressed pressed one button the whole time. But Troy, Uh,

Troy had gotten to gotten into an argument I think

with Brian or somebody about about you know. I think

it was the spitfire and he created a clan and

it was the work horses. He was like, the that

gun is a workhorse gun. Were the Workhorses. I didn't

join a clan yet, and then Kyle became the dragon

Riders and Brian became the the Dire Wolves because they

were all like arguing about this this take of everything.

And then Troy left the work Horses, I believe, and

then I took the seat for him, and then he

went to join the dragon Riders. And then that argument

was Kyle and him arguing, and then him leaving the

dragon Riders and creating the Core, and by kicked him out. Yeah,

some some would say that, But ladies and jon, that

was a walk down memory lane, grab my banner on

this day in GMB history with the super Producer. We're

gonna send it on down to the voicemails and send

you guys on the rest of your week. Let's get

it all, right, ladies and gents, let's get to the

voicemail here. First one comes from Jaggernaut. I didn't connect

my phone. I just I just realized that right now,

I did not connect my phone at all.

Speaker 5: But now I have connected my phone and it's time boys.

Speaker 13: It's naut longtime listener, first time caller. One thing you

guys haven't discussed yet in the World Cup attorney is

whether or not the goalie has glove on or glove off.

Glove This may be unconventional, but I find when I'm

defending the box that I performed better without a glove on.

Speaker 7: Let me.

Speaker 1: Wow, no no no no no.

Speaker 3: For me his box.

Speaker 2: He's defending his own box, but he defends the he

defends the gloves.

Speaker 3: I feel like you can attacking the box, I go gloves.

Speaker 1: Yeah.

Speaker 5: Typically it's when I'm attacking the box that I would

like I would like to at least, yeah, more control,

better feel, I think, get a better feel for what's happening.

Speaker 1: That's that's when we look at it.

Speaker 3: Grips like less like ribs.

Speaker 4: You know, Yeah, you get like if you you go

with gloves, though, you get more grip on it.

Speaker 5: Yeah, you might get like better grip, a little better

friction there. But at the same time, I still think that, like,

there's easily some holes in that plan. Let's be honest

here on. Yeah, I mean like it could lead to

some serious problems. They might get a ball in Like

is definitely safer.

Speaker 2: Yeah, I was just about to say that definitely like

one hundred percent safe.

Speaker 1: But I feel like it's more shocking when one gets

through with the glow on.

Speaker 3: I mean, if you want to go wash shocks.

Speaker 5: Yeah, Like if one gets through when you're wearing, oh yeah,

it's going to send you in a world of hurt.

Speaker 1: You're gonna go You're just shocked.

Speaker 2: You'd be mad at the glove, right Like I was

told that this was going to help me prevent this

from him. Now there's a ball in the back of

the net.

Speaker 5: Right Like, I swear, I swear to hit glove. I

swear the glove was there been there.

Speaker 1: Haven't we all? Now, here's the thing.

Speaker 2: If you're if you're going into the net and you

never tried, are going gloveless, something you have to understand

is there's going to be a chance the ball slips

in and you have to be okay with it. Like

if somebody's slipping the ball into me and I'm not

and I have no glove on, at that point, I

just throw my hands up and I say, it is

what it is.

Speaker 1: I'll accept it for what it is, and I'll have

some fun with it.

Speaker 5: I just understand, and the goalie understands. When I'm attacking gloveless,

you know, sometimes they can't catch it. Sometimes they have

to go for the header. Sometimes, you know, they just

take a quick shot straight to the sternum, like you

don't know what's going to happen, where it's going to go,

but you know it's going somewhere.

Speaker 3: Yeah.

Speaker 1: When you're shooting, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 4: Yeah, when you're trying to catch them off guard with

the back shot.

Speaker 5: Sometimes you get a double shot in there, get a

little ricochet throw back one more time.

Speaker 2: It's rare, rare, But occasionally hit the cross It's yeah,

it's definitely rare. It can't happen, catch a post, anything

can happen. But that's the beauty of the game, right,

I always.

Speaker 1: Laughing at his face.

Speaker 3: Mm hm.

Speaker 2: Not want to hit mine? Not when it hits mine? Chris,

what do you have to say about this?

Speaker 3: She's so special.

Speaker 1: I'm so glad that. I'm so glad.

Speaker 3: You guys. Have you guys figured out that?

Speaker 2: Uh? I figured out how to mess around with this

roadcast a little bit, and you guys figured that part out.

Speaker 3: You guys figured that part out.

Speaker 4: Chris is gonna get the bront of the damage this week,

but I'm sure by next week, don't be.

Speaker 1: One for all of us.

Speaker 3: I hope.

Speaker 1: So the next one here comes from anonymous.

Speaker 9: Yo, what's up boys, Uncle Jack? Here?

Speaker 6: Uh just listen, just listening to the round of sixteen

World Cup draft, and I know this is probably gonna

get sent in a little late here, but.

Speaker 9: One of like Sparrow, I hope he makes it through.

Speaker 6: But he literally, like some of his emotes, like he

plays soccer, Like he has a soccer ball.

Speaker 9: I'm pretty sure, like in the skydivey mode he's playing

with the soccer.

Speaker 3: Ball, so like he he's like the only.

Speaker 9: Player that like actually.

Speaker 6: Likes with the passive and that like he should win

just based off.

Speaker 9: The fact that he literally is the only one that

plays soccer.

Speaker 6: I mean, like the rest of them play, but it's

like that's a that's a crucial part.

Speaker 9: So I'm glad he won against.

Speaker 3: Gibby, but I don't know, shouldn't have been there to

begin with.

Speaker 4: Listen, I think it's Axel, So.

Speaker 3: Yeah, he's getting waxed.

Speaker 6: He honestly should be a good matchup, but like genuinely

just based on the fact that he literally plays soccer.

Speaker 3: Like some of soccer like pace.

Speaker 9: And some of his you know anyways, love you boys, Listen.

Speaker 5: I mean, we definitely record the show in order. So

we've already decided this a tire on his knee, Yeah,

that does he have an a c L or a good.

Speaker 3: Year maybe even a michel where.

Speaker 1: His knee is. Yeah, so that's gonna be.

Speaker 2: That's gonna be a matchup that we've definitely already talked

about and we had a we had a fun time

talking about it.

Speaker 1: I'll tell you that much.

Speaker 3: I'll tell you that much.

Speaker 2: The World Cup, Man, it just brings out the best

in people, also brings out the worst in the US.

Speaker 3: I think it's just everywhere.

Speaker 2: Really, Yeah, it does does twitter when you think about it, though, like,

well none of us are I'm about to say I'm

about to say something crazy American right now. I think

the World Cup would be better as a double elimination tournament.

Speaker 3: It does kind of.

Speaker 2: It's in every four years, yeah, and some of these

teams like are battling. I don't think it should be.

It's only obviously double elimination. Once you hit the round

of thirty two, Yeah, you got to get through the

round robin.

Speaker 3: You got to get through the round robin.

Speaker 5: I'm always in favor of more ball mm hmm. Double elimination.

I don't think it should be double elimination. I think

it should be best two to three each round. That's

two of three.

Speaker 3: Play a series. It would go.

Speaker 5: Forever, play a series, not like just because how many

games of soccer does somebody typically play in.

Speaker 1: A week depends on the club you play for.

Speaker 3: But like probably two to three tops, yeah, I play

ye like negative.

Speaker 4: Yeah, two.

Speaker 5: And it's like, okay, So if you were to say,

like right now, they're going two games or one game

a week is what they're doing. You're just doing two

games a week. If you finish in two, then you

finish in two. If not, you have to go play

a third.

Speaker 3: Let me, finishing in two is not my strong like.

Speaker 1: What you can't do like you could, it's the same.

It's basically the same thing. I'm Monday, Wednesday Sunday or

Monday Wednesday Saturday.

Speaker 2: The reason I say this is because we're nearing the

end of the World Cup. This is the first one

I paid attention to, like seriously, and as I'm watching it,

I'm sitting here and I'm like, Okay, I do feel

like there were some better teams that could have put

up a better fight, But you only get that one opportunity,

and it's every four years. If it was like a

two year thing or like a year by year thing

and it was single elimination, I'd be like whatever. But

the fact that it's every four years, it just feels

super anti climactic after the after the groups m because

the groups you get to play your three and then you,

let's say you get to the knockouts, it's like you're

immediately out unless.

Speaker 3: You, you know, go go crazy.

Speaker 2: Like imagine like who went to the elimination early? I

think Germany did. Germany drops down to a loser's bracket

with I don't know who lost in another round of

thirty two.

Speaker 3: That was good.

Speaker 2: Whoever played like Argentina or something or some of these

other teams. They play a game and then maybe it

goes from there. We play first we played Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Speaker 3: How recar.

Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know that. That's my hot take about

the World Cup. I just wish it was like a

little bit more intuitive that way, a little bit more games.

Speaker 5: I will also say that the one game as it is,

and the stakes being that hyper game does probably add

a lot to the emotional value of those games.

Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I agree. The fact that they're there,

they're expanding it. I think they want to go even

further and they went this time. I want to do

even more than they did this time.

Speaker 3: That's all a lot of teams, alright. It was like

a yeah for like a new record.

Speaker 2: Like technically the round of thirty two wasn't supposed to

be a thing. Oh, it was supposed to be sick

usually it's just that's what I've heard. I didn't watch

the previous to be fair.

Speaker 5: Out of the round of thirty two, did they actually

get anybody that was a difference maker?

Speaker 1: Yeah, like Germany lost. I mean that was like that was.

Speaker 3: They should be. They should be in the top eight usually.

Speaker 2: Yeah, that's how it should They got a new coach,

like immediately after it was like, yeah, oh Cape Verde.

Imagine Cape Verd dropping to a loser's bracke after losing

to like literally Argentina putting up another performance against another

big team and maybe dropped like Germany. That would have

been a fun one. That would have been fun. I

don't know at all.

Speaker 1: I didn't. I have not put a lot of thought

into this.

Speaker 3: So Amar's out here fucking playing poker tournaments a week

after he gets eliminated.

Speaker 1: I mean.

Speaker 3: Fair, yeah, I yes, last here Bro came to the

US to gamble.

Speaker 1: We got one from the arm form arm Farm.

Speaker 12: Hey, boys, So I'm just responding to last voicemail I

sent when told you guys that passed and then why

I know you had some questions just about like the

actual exam that I took and everything.

Speaker 1: So I just wanted to give you guys, like a

quick oh yeah, super quick like everything.

Speaker 12: So in total, like the whole class was twenty two sections.

Speaker 9: A lot of it was obviously like how to.

Speaker 12: Structure programs themselves, like weightlifting programs, and especially like how

to progress them and you know where to start, like

start with the baby steps like making sure that everyone

has like if they're going to do like a barbell

like your classic squat, making sure that they have good

like ankle stability, hip stability, you know, and then the

so the questions would be, you know what phase if

someone is just learning how to exercise, what face should

you start them off at? And it would be like stability, stabilization, endurance,

you know, strength endurance, and then it would have some

other like bogus answer that It definitely wouldn't be.

Speaker 3: Like, uh, have them do a front flip first.

Speaker 12: Day and then uh leave them sitting in a chair

for eight hours and then have them run a mile

like something stupid.

Speaker 1: That's what the.

Speaker 3: That's one example, but.

Speaker 12: Then other ones would be, you know, there's this syndrome

that some people can can get and it's called.

Speaker 3: Upper cross syndrome.

Speaker 12: And essentially what happens is you're trapped and the back muscles,

some muscles become so overactive, so they comes so so

much more used than the entire like shoulder, shoulder girdle

being used that they like take over a movement. So

like one example would be, you know you're doing a

cable row and you notice that the client his shoulders

are raising as he's doing the cable row, Like what

muscle is being overly used causing this syndrome. And then

it would give you four different muscles. Obviously one of

them one of them would be like a leg muscle.

It would give you like the muscle of the calf,

and then the other ones would be you know, is

it the upper traps, is it the middle traps, or

is the is it the sterno climb mastoid ors? Yeah,

Sterno climastoide.

Speaker 4: So those those would be the.

Speaker 12: Kind of questions that you would get that would be

sprinkled throughout the exam. Other ones would be, you know,

what is the definition of motivation in what is the

definitive definition of motivation? What is the number one thing

that like you need a client to have in order

for them to be like a recurring client.

Speaker 4: And like the biggest thing.

Speaker 14: Is obviously self efficacy, So because like if I if

someone writes you a program and you don't feel confident

doing it, you're not gonna want to work out because

obviously you don't feel confident doing it.

Speaker 12: Yeah, Yeah, that's there's there's like a bit of psychology

obviously nutrition stuff, so like knowing how many calories are

in you know, one gram of carbs, fats, protein, among

other things. What are all those three macronutrients like comprised

of What does ATP stand for, you know, the main

energy that the body.

Speaker 3: Uses and and so forth.

Speaker 9: So yeah, hopefully hopefully that gives you.

Speaker 3: What what I was seeing on the example there it

is a TV ATP attack from the Cooper that's what

it stands for.

Speaker 5: Yeah, Andrea mitochondria powerhouse of the cell makes that ship ATP.

Speaker 2: Makes that ship fucking ATP. When I see them Outochondria,

I think.

Speaker 3: She's so special.

Speaker 5: Just because we have that. That's the most elite thing

I've ever created. That was the most Chris may have created.

Speaker 1: That well, no, I told him what to say.

Speaker 2: I was like, Chris needed to hit me with the

FuG She's so special and he hit it perfectly.

Speaker 1: Chris, can you hit it right now?

Speaker 3: Making that intro?

Speaker 2: What I wish there was like behind the scenes or

blue I could give you, you know what. I might

be able to find it somewhere, but the behind the

scenes from what I can and recollect was. I was like, hey, Chris,

come over, I'm gonna make you a theme song for Bachelor.

And we were like rushing. Something was going down, you know,

because it was like daytime. Yeah, I don't remember what

we were doing, but it was in my apartment before

this place, and I was in my room and I

just handed him a mic and I was like trying

to think of a story to make this, to like

make with this song that I found. I spent all

day at work just going through epidemic sounds, just looking

for songs, and then I was like, I think this

is the one, and then I found it started recording

some stuff, and I thought about like opening a book

and reading like chapters and shit, that's what That's what

I came down to. And I was like, all right,

I need to start ad living stuff. But Chris didn't

know what to say. So then I'd like think of

stuff on my own, and then I would just say

say this, and one of it was like I just
