Speaker 1: What's up everyone? Welcome back to another edition of the

Grab My Banner Podcast, Episode number two eight seven, and

Ladies and Gentlemen, Season thirty is officially underway. We've got

the patch notes. We're gonna go through all of that.

We've got a lot to get to here.

Speaker 2: We've got new attachments based a whole new looting system.

We've got a brand new map almost. It's not a

new map. It's an old map, but it's one that

has had a bunch of changes and some familiar friends return.

And then we have changes to Bloodhound and two other

legends that we will get to, as well as some

other various things here. First things first, I'm a big

map guy. The rest of the season remains to be

seen in my eyes as far as how good.

Speaker 1: It's going to be.

Speaker 2: The map, though, World's Edge is fucking back. I'm a

World's Edge guy all over again. The map looks fucking good.

It looks fantastic World's Edge. At night, you get a

beautiful skyline. One of the POI straight up looks like

one of those Lifetime movies where the chick leaves her

corporate job, goes back to her hometown, starts a hot

cocoa business finds her high school fling, and then she

marries him instead of the corporate guy who will make

six figures and just settles down there.

Speaker 3: That's what it was, in a bad marriage.

Speaker 1: Yeah, just freshly divorced as a kid.

Speaker 3: That she's just a little sweetheart.

Speaker 2: At first, the kid is adverse to this new woman,

but then they start to grow a bond together, and

then she's like her real mom. And then maybe there's

something wacky, like elves are actually real, or Santa Claus

pulls up, maybe reindeer have bad They see the reindeer

across the sky, they're like, wow, oh my god, holy ship.

And then happily ever after.

Speaker 3: When Never Seen comes in shoots it down.

Speaker 2: Usually that doesn't happen in the movie, but that might

be a good That would actually be a good twist

if Hollywood did a Lifetime movie. But then they just

made everything fall to ship. After you think everything's good,

you know, somebody the air.

Speaker 4: I was gonna say, phone flying through the sky.

Speaker 1: Somebody hit that thing. They fast forward to summertime. The

hot Coco the hock co Go business fails.

Speaker 3: No one wants that ship.

Speaker 2: During summer, she sees she sees her ex posted up

on Instagram with like a new boo mean in Miami.

The guy he's he's sitting on the couch playing Black

Ops one remastered on the PS five.

Speaker 3: Trying to get his emblem right. He has some big

hits he.

Speaker 1: Has.

Speaker 2: It's searched for job in months, he hasn't done anything.

But yeah, World's Edge looks good. World's Edge looks fantastic.

It looks really fucking good. Boys, let's get to the

rest of the patch notes here. We've got a lot

to talk about. But the first thing we'll get to

is World's Edge can get off with the brand new map. Now, obviously,

when you look at the skyline is World's Edge at night,

it's not dark as original e District is, but it

does have like that late. Yeah, the sky looks good.

Skyland looks real nice. But really what I want to

highlight here are the pois And the first thing that

came back is Sorting Factory, and it really just makes me.

Speaker 3: Think, fuck, she's so special.

Speaker 1: I just love Sorting Factory so much. It truly is

one of us that when I stepped down onto World's

Edge again, you remember Brian and you'll remember this because

this is when you were playing at your peak. Remember

when we would drop on Sorting Factory, but we would

go through the backway coming from Tree and there was

that back door you could walk through and like third party. Yeah,

when you go through the back door, it's a lot

more fun than going through the front.

Speaker 5: Sometimes you would go through the back door, but you

would do it from the side, so like you would

approach from the side, but you still go through.

Speaker 1: The back Yeah.

Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I love doing that. The little bait and

switch there they were never it was.

Speaker 2: Fantastic, but dropping in and me and Kyle going through

that back door together as boys.

Speaker 1: It was one of those moments where I was thinking.

Speaker 2: Back to early Apex where it was like the game

was so fresh, it was so new, and there was

like this this like fear that we could lose, but

there was also the thrill that we could absolutely dominate

Sorting Factory.

Speaker 1: Being back is fuck.

Speaker 4: It's always better when you go through the back door

with the boys.

Speaker 5: Like someone tries to chow you for that backdoor too,

because really you're just saying, no, I'm going in here

because I'm just the bigger dog.

Speaker 2: And it doesn't have that stupid one building that connects

it to like across the ravine. They kept the buildings

and they kept the bridge, which I think is a

much better exit point because remember when you try to

leave sorting Factory from that side, there was just one

zip line yep, or the ravine. Now they still have

the bridge, they have you know, different ways to get

through if you need to, so it's always good.

Speaker 1: So that is the first POI.

Speaker 2: The other one East Village, which was the one we

were talking about the Hallmark movie.

Speaker 1: That one is also great.

Speaker 2: That one is probably my new favorite one, and it

kind of fills in the land because remember before there

was like the gondolas you had to go through. Yeah, climatizers, gondolas.

Gondalas are only good in zombies maps. I don't like

gondolas on anything else. No, not in a you are

It just feels too claustrophobic. You just feel like you're stuck.

Speaker 4: One your buddy doesn't take one, you get fucked.

Speaker 3: You get that's a god.

Speaker 1: Yeah dead and then also Moba the Dead also very short,

short gondola, small gondola, its smallest gondola average. Yeah, that's average,

you're right. But East Village is really sick.

Speaker 2: The only thing is there's some buildings you have to

like kneel to get into. Their very small buildings. They're

they're they're for the elves. Yeah, they're condominiums, for sure.

They're they're very small studio.

Speaker 1: Literally it is a studio.

Speaker 2: It's like it's like remember the movie Elf Buddy the Elf,

Like he's just way taller than you know.

Speaker 1: It's those types of buildings.

Speaker 3: Hunched down.

Speaker 2: You're hunched down in those. There's not a whole lot

of room for activities in those. But that's the first one.

Tree settlement.

Speaker 1: What the fuck was that just exploded?

Speaker 4: I don't know what that was.

Speaker 2: Sounded like a bomb just went off. But uh no,

we're good. Tree settlement. Replace it, replaced the tree. It's nice.

Speaker 1: It's okay. I kind of like the old tree.

Speaker 3: But oh yeah, all right.

Speaker 1: Kind of big buildings, the big buildings, all right, so

you hate it. Yeah, but maybe.

Speaker 3: I'm just not used to it.

Speaker 1: Maybe I'm just not used.

Speaker 2: We already talked about sporting factory. And then also they

moved Big Mod to the middle of the map. Big

Mod is now dead center, right in the middle where

Landslide used to be. And then Also they added the

Streamer building back what me, Brian and Kyle used to

call the Pentagon is back. Pentagon is back, and everybody

fucking lands there.

Speaker 4: It's also where all the wanna be fade sweats just

show up.

Speaker 1: They show up. They pick up a bow because they

couldn't get a gun. They die instantly. Yep, it's where

it's at.

Speaker 2: Ship glut is bad. We're gonna get to the loot

a little bit. But the map is fantastic. World's Edge

feels like World's Edge again. I can't wait to see

it on like a land setting. I can't wait to

see it in Ranked. And we're gonna see what happened

that was.

Speaker 3: Sick, She got them got this standed mag not on that.

Speaker 1: For backstory, we are watching the movie Underworld with absolutely

no audio only subtitles, and at the end of this

Chris is gonna rate it what he thinks that he's

got a massive forehead. He does it a big forehead.

He's got a widow's peak, like a motherfucker. That is

the widow list peak. I've ever pop that the ranked

rotation for.

Speaker 2: Or the map rotation for ranked for pubs in Ranked

is going to be World's Edge, Stormpoint and e District

solid rotation there because you didn't hear you didn't hear

anything that had to do with Olympus.

Speaker 1: There we thank God, thank God.

Speaker 3: And he is still there.

Speaker 1: We are good.

Speaker 2: Now, let's get to the looting. Because the looting, Kyle,

there's nothing on the ground. If you like, No, there

are things on the ground. There's just nothing like a

high tier loot zone. It's not as easy to come

across Purples by a pretty long shot.

Speaker 4: And it's also very hard to get guns.

Speaker 2: Very hard to get guns at times, very hard to

get guns at times like og On the Passion of.

Speaker 1: Itself too long didn't read.

Speaker 2: Spawn rate of higher tier loot has been reduced across

all maps, which should shape a cleaner, clearer, and more

cohesive looting experience in the World Purple. Attachment spawn rate

reduced across all game systems. Overall attachment quantity remains the same.

Arsenals are disabled at the start of the match and

they activate at the same time as Ebo Harvesters, Mini

Map and n world icons are hidden until activation. They

also reduce the amount of arsenals per POI and the

upgrade panel upgrades one attachment per slot per tier and

provides an optic if the weapon is missing. One Purple

is now the max upgrade tier. The upgrade panels reactivate

after bin reset.

Speaker 3: Was it not always the max?

Speaker 4: You could get gold?

Speaker 1: Could get gold? And also like when you do these,

like it feels like you gotta wait a long time

before you get a purple.

Speaker 4: Oh yeah, if they took out all the gold detachments.

Speaker 2: Yeah, uh beIN resets, they removed mythic bins and they

also removed gold bins and there's no longer upgrades. This

no longer upgrades loot to a higher tier on reset.

Flyer and Prowler death boxes remove the possibility of Gold

tier loot. Gold tier loot as a whole have been

removed from the loop Pool, with the four x ten

threats unaffected. That's the only one remaining.

Speaker 3: Thank god, thank you.

Speaker 2: The gold attachments removed from gold weapons and gold backpacks

removed from the Loop pool along with the hot zone.

Wow is gone.

Speaker 3: I think it's been there since the day one.

Speaker 2: Hot zone is gone. Wow should have done a fucking funeral.

I know, fucking no hot zone. It's over.

Speaker 4: Wait, there's no more hot zone.

Speaker 1: No hot zone. Wow, no hot zone.

Speaker 4: That's kind of sad, kind of wild.

Speaker 3: I'm glad they kept the bin reset though.

Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you still have the been reset, but

at least you have it just in case you spawn

late on these meds or something and you're fucking dead now.

Also support and Assault Legend perk bins. They have also

removed extended supply bins and removed weapons supply bins. Loot

rollers remove possibility of gold tier loot and spawn fewer attachments,

updated cycle cycling rollers to cycle through white tiered loot

as an option.

Speaker 4: Loot rollers, so like the robots you.

Speaker 3: Like, Marvin, or the drones and the ticks.

Speaker 4: Those all are gonna cycle. They're going to cycle through white,

then blue, then purple.

Speaker 3: So you have to time all of them, yeah something.

Speaker 4: Because they don't do gold anymore white than blue then purple.

Speaker 1: Yeah.

Speaker 3: Interesting.

Speaker 2: On the Matt Pois World's Edge loot vaults, they've added

blue attachments to them.

Speaker 3: Yeah.

Speaker 2: They also adjusted the spawn to spawn more attachments and

amps fewer backpacks. Marajta removed the possibility of gold loot

rollers don't have those anymore, and then reduce the chance

of a purple loot rollers spawning from the start, Trials

reduced overall tier loot and Olympus Fight Night, Icarus Bridge

and Phase Driver all hit by the same thing. They

are just nerfing loot across.

Speaker 3: There's no reason to go to those pos anymore, exactly, Like,

why would I ever go to trials now?

Speaker 1: Positioning and competitive that's yeah, that'd be the only thing.

Speaker 4: The only one pulls up there.

Speaker 1: Now you can take positioning up there, and then you're

giving a loot for it.

Speaker 3: But it already didn't give that grade of loot.

Speaker 1: I feel like you had to do the trial, the trial.

Speaker 4: But I don't think they even have the trial anymore

because they got rid of all the wildlife stuff.

Speaker 2: So it's all all loot across. The board has been

completely changed, all of it, so they still have the trial.

It sounds like it's there downgraded heavily.

Speaker 3: Lower tier loot.

Speaker 1: Okay, I mean that's not a bad thing necessarily.

Speaker 5: You don't need everybody to be fully kidded all the time,

like learn to fight without I think surroundings.

Speaker 1: I think that was their point.

Speaker 2: Yeah, people have grown accustomed to the other way, so

there's gonna be a lot of people not liking it.

I felt like I could still get guns. I just

never felt like I could get to purple. Yeah, but

late game I was there.

Speaker 1: It just took a long time.

Speaker 5: Yeah, but I don't. I think it comes down to mentality, like,

should purple be something that everybody has every time, even

if you're just running around looting. No, you should probably

have to fight and kill people to get that stuff.

Speaker 1: Just me, I should be able to get purple, right,

that's what everybody wants.

Speaker 3: Yeah, everyone else, but on white shield.

Speaker 1: Yeah, No, that's I don't think that's how that should happen. Now.

Speaker 5: Actually, don't even think that the fucking EVO cashes are

a good thing.

Speaker 1: I think I think they should just hold out.

Speaker 5: Not at the rate that they are, I think evil cash.

At the rate they are, it's too easy to level

up your armor without having a fight.

Speaker 3: Did you see that Marvin's are single use now too?

Speaker 1: Yeah? And fucking they took away the gold arm.

Speaker 3: They took his arm away. Yeah, fucking prowlers and spiders

don't drop attachments at all.

Speaker 1: It's okay, bow next to is the golden arm?

Speaker 3: Just stroking ankle. He's got a titanium ankle too.

Speaker 1: Yeah, things go with Daniel Jones over there. Yeah, we're

in the same boat. No, we're not. What do you mean.

I just went to the AFC Championship game. Daniel Jones

broke his ankle before we got there. Okay, you guys

were struggling before before that, he was hurting Jones. Weren't

you guys up like heavy on the on the Chiefs

and then blew it with Daniel Jones. He got fucking hurt.

Speaker 3: Sounds about right in that game.

Speaker 1: I believe, so I can double, we can go back

and double.

Speaker 5: I saw he was hurt for a couple of weeks,

like with nagging injuries prior to him actually tearing his achilles.

Speaker 3: I saw a clip of Patrick Mahomes at practice.

Speaker 1: Throw the ball st in the center.

Speaker 3: Through a meat ball.

Speaker 2: I mean, the forty nine ers need to move their practices.

They might as well just move it to the sands

of a rackets they'd be safer there.

Speaker 1: Did you see that? Uh? The power plant got a

Twitter and started replying to it. Yeah, dude, the power

plant is it is its own being. It is villains

night being. Forty nine Ers players left, It's.

Speaker 3: All the people were sacrificing for CMC Bro, it's a blood.

Kyle Shanahan almost got fucking caught up in that ship.

Speaker 1: Yeah, gosh, damn ship's bad right now.

Speaker 3: Yeah, and now we.

Speaker 1: Blamed the power plant for Kyle Shanahan's car accident.

Speaker 3: Five G waves shooting out or whatever.

Speaker 1: How can we do that?

Speaker 3: How fucked up his car? Bro, he's probably you're having

a tesla. Bro. The energy it got.

Speaker 1: From the feels like it truly feels like the forty

nine Ers have just suffered from having fantastic players and

nobody to play the games because they can't play.

Speaker 3: We've got all these guys, they're just hurt.

Speaker 1: We got fat debo. It's the same.

Speaker 2: It's the same fat debo that it's the same two teams.

It's the Chargers and the forty nine Ers. Every year,

the Chargers and forty nine Ers. Just oh in the Ravens.

The Ravens yet hurt a lot too.

Speaker 3: The classic well justin Herbert would be elite.

Speaker 1: If if the Chargers were trying to say potential, man,

they were trying to be like bone Nicks. If man,

I was like, my quarterback has won a playoff game,

you can't call him if if he's won a playoff.

Speaker 2: A couple of years, two years years. Justin Herbert's been

in for what five this would be five or six.

Speaker 5: I'm tired of people call him Justin Herbert elite like

so many people.

Speaker 2: He's got to win, a player, and he's not like

he's losing playoff games like he was up how much

on the Jaguars.

Speaker 1: He threw four picks against the Texans. Yeah, tough like

he's had.

Speaker 5: I mean, granted that Texas defense is one of the

best we've seen, it's really good.

Speaker 1: But if you're gonna say he's an elite quarterback, like I,

it's just one of those things.

Speaker 5: Like I I've never been a big fan of Herbert

from the get go. My thoughts on Herbert was he's

always he's a good quarterback, but he's always been overrated.

He is quite literally another Philip Rivers.

Speaker 1: I think he's.

Speaker 2: Way better than Philip Rivers. I also think he's a

really good quarterback. But there comes a time there's a

there's a playoff tax. You gotta win a playoff.

Speaker 5: I was talking about Philip Rivers and the fact that

his postseason.

Speaker 3: He's gonna come back when he's forty.

Speaker 1: He could but play for the Colts.

Speaker 5: We've had, we've had worse quarterbacks. Fine, he just his

decisions were fine.

Speaker 3: And all like a million kids.

Speaker 1: Yeah, he has got enough to run.

Speaker 3: It off Yeah that's huge.

Speaker 5: Yeah, he's got ten kids and himself as a quarterback,

so he has enough to run an offense.

Speaker 3: The flag football team at the family reunion's going crazy, dude,

that's got to be nuts.

Speaker 2: Like Justin Herbert has some of the best talent I've

seen at throwing the ball. He just when he comes

to playoffs, he's like just Ship had and I like, listen,

you can't blame everything from the Jaguars game on on

Justin Herbert. But at the same time, it's like, you

had such a big lead.

Speaker 3: Just run it up at that point, are not running it?

Speaker 5: It also sounds like other teams that are out there

that you know, we'll have like great leads and then

stop running the ball to Christian McCaffrey at the halftime

and then.

Speaker 4: Hey, bro, listen, it's the fucking it's the power waiting, bro,

it's electrical power.

Speaker 5: I don't think you don't know the pain. I don't

think coaching decisions you don't understand. I do understand I

watched that.

Speaker 2: Wait, no, no, the coaching did have had to do his

that one, because wasn't there coach Brandon Staley that that

time they blew the lead to the jack.

Speaker 3: Of the Chargers, the Chargers Chargers.

Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I'm talking about that. You're talking about then

you're turning this into a Niners.

Speaker 3: Yeah, somehow we got to us.

Speaker 5: Yeah, well it's a very similar fashion. You're gonna kick

us while we're down rushing the game.

Speaker 3: All our players are dead.

Speaker 1: Chris, Chris starting opening day for years? Who are you

starting at at quarterback with the Niners? Yeah? Would you

start pretty? Or did you started mac attack mac Mag's better,

a better Michael maclan Jones, mccorky.

Speaker 3: Do we have him now?

Speaker 1: I thought, yeah, you had him last year? He might have,

Oh we did.

Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I was thinking of someone.

Speaker 1: Did he not go somewhere or he resigned somebody look

it up? You don't know. I think he was still

on a contract for one more year. Yeah, no, we're

playing heard Brock's gonna be happening. Brock, we have to.

Speaker 3: I don't even think he's like that crazy of a quarterback.

Speaker 1: But okay, who are you? This is the toughest one.

Speaker 2: Who are you starting Kyler at nine?

Speaker 1: Getting nine off the football field, getting nine on the field,

things happen when nine's played.

Speaker 3: They've got for the other team, Juwan Jennings, Now don't they?

Speaker 1: Yeah, they do.

Speaker 3: I had to break that news to my brother. I

thought he would have known. Damn, he's like we lost him,

Like was not that great. He was our guy for

a little.

Speaker 4: While, pretty good for us.

Speaker 3: Well, he stepped up when fucking Brandon Ayuk was on

his CTE journey.

Speaker 1: I mean still on it, still on it.

Speaker 5: Okay, let's throw this out there. A receiver on your

guys' offense should always produce, and if you're just producing

that what's basically average, then there's problems. Okay, you're not

that great of a receiver. If you're producing average on

who would.

Speaker 1: You take right now? Lamar or Justin herb Lamar past Lamar?

Speaker 3: Well, I think Brian, you've got the next Lamar more

athletic Lamar, don't you.

Speaker 1: Daniel Jones no, what's his name? Richardson was probably my

worst take. I think it was so bad.

Speaker 5: But you know what, I will say this, if he

did develop and he did end up being good that

was going to be such a great take.

Speaker 1: No, he can't. He can throw the ball.

Speaker 5: No, he can't turn his hips. He can't throw the

ball anywhere accurate. What's he can throw a deep? Yeah?

Speaker 1: Throw deep? He can't even do that. Our deep ball

receivers better with the other quarterback A Pierce left to No,

he's didn't he's with us, is he? No?

Speaker 5: We lost? Uh? He was with us forever. I'm blanking

on his name, Pittman. I always want to say crap

because then went to the Steelers to play opposite side

of DK Metcalf and him and DK are on a

rod similar contracts to where they're they'll end at the

same time. Is here and Rod just playing for the

Steelers now, it's just he announced it's his final final season.

Speaker 3: He popped as many drugs as he could have this offseason.

He's gonna fucking win a bowl. Hell yeah yeah number

two on away.

Speaker 1: Yeah. So that's the loot change, as.

Speaker 3: Pretty much, the electrical plant fucked up the loot.

Speaker 2: Flextual plant fucked the loot up. It's all bad now,

it's all bad now. The other new thing they had

the ui UH stat overhaul. So now stats show up

on the guns you can look at what's changing. Once again,

it kind of feels like a useless change unless it's

used for the the new attachments that came out, the

corrupted ones, all the other ones.

Speaker 1: It's just like, let me just get the better color.

Speaker 3: No, literally, like, why would you not?

Speaker 1: Yeah?

Speaker 2: I think they added it just to add in the

corrupted attachments.

Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I think they know that.

Speaker 3: But yeah, I mean I'm sure they're like, yeah, this

is kind of dumb because you have tears.

Speaker 2: Not really much to talk about with that, but they

the stats are there, and I think you can also

check it out inside the menu if you're just bored

and you're waiting for a game to podca because really

do for me, or if your friend's like, I'm gonna go,

uh grab some food real quick, I'll be right back.

Speaker 1: Chill. Look at the stats. You have nothing to really

base it off. Can you believe it?

Speaker 3: The blue ones actually better than purple when you look

at the stats? Now, you're stupid?

Speaker 1: What purple better than black?

Speaker 3: I can see that?

Speaker 2: Yeah, somehow, So there it is. Now let's get into

the corrupted detachments. They are interesting. There is red attachments

out there that you can add in onto your weapon

for specific weapons, one per gun where it will detract

from one stat but really help out on either one

or two other stats to make them really really good.

There's five of them. Now, we have the Rapid sniper stock.

It increases weapon fire rate, reduces magazines size, and improves

reload speed and weapon handling. You have the Agile standard

stock eliminates weapon move speed penalty, increases weapon ADS move speed,

reduces magazine size, and improves the reload speed and weapon

handling at the same level as the purple standard stock.

Then you have the Tactical laser improves reload speed, reduces

ADS recoil control, and then improves hip fire accuracy at

the same level as the purple attachment. You have the

Overflow magazine improves magazine size beyond that of a purple

and then it reduces the weapon reload speed and can't

be attached to any weapon that accepts a magazine. And

my personal favorite, the head Seeker barrel increases weapon headshot damage,

reduces hip fire accuracy, and improves the recoil at the

same level of the purple barrel. The head Seeker barrel

head exactly exactly when you put that thing on. I mean,

when you think about it, when you're seeking head need

something that's gonna give you that little extra push you

need it.

Speaker 1: It has to be in your arsenal.

Speaker 2: And for the true head seekers out there, because I

know there's some head seekers, We have some head seekers,

this is perfect for you. It goes to the top

of my list. In all seriousness, though I did add low.

I did add the overflowing magazine to the car A weapon.

I've always said feels like one bullet. That thing goes

to forty bullets. Oh my god, it is fucking elite.

How bad is the real is it that much of it?

Speaker 1: It's pretty significant. But when you have forty bullets and

you know you can hit your shots with a car

doesn't really affect you.

Speaker 3: I was looking at that agile stock. Is that so

it's like you've got no gun out when you're moving?

Speaker 4: Basically, Yes, the shitty things it stacks with other stuff.

Oh so Gibbie with the shotgun perk with the stock

and is passive. He moves like a mother freight train. Yes,

I've already seen some crazy tab strafing bullshit, some gifts.

Speaker 1: Yeah, so.

Speaker 4: This is gonna be the season of of some movement.

Speaker 1: Yeah, there's some movement out there. These are actually.

Speaker 2: Cool to fuck around with because there's a lot of

different things you can do, especially with that one specifically,

because when you it says any weapon that can have

a mag, so it's like that's basically all weapons, is

it not besides like shotguns.

Speaker 1: So it's like the Wingman interesting.

Speaker 3: Can it have a mag?

Speaker 4: Yes?

Speaker 1: Again, so it's like that's another one where that one

can become interesting. The car was one that stood out

to me. Obviously, the R ninety nine.

Speaker 2: You're gonna miss some shots with that unless you're absolutely elite,

but there's the chance of that. So it's like a

lot of these are really really good. I haven't tried

out the head secret yet. I haven't tried out the

tactical laser yet.

Speaker 4: I will tell you as somebody who's tested out the

tactical laser. Once again, those shits stack. So assault legends,

when you get a crack or you get a knock,

you get faster reload. Laser also gives you a faster reload,

So as long as you get a crack or a

knock within your mag, it instantly reloads your gun.

Speaker 3: Just oh, it's a purple laser with fast reloads pretty much.

Speaker 4: Yes, so basically they did a bunch of testing with it.

If you unload, the shitty thing is because it cuts

down the mag size. The R ninety nine with that

still is kind of tough and like a purple mac.

Speaker 3: Yeah, doesn't cut the mag size.

Speaker 4: Laser doesn't cut the MA size.

Speaker 3: I thought that's a stock.

Speaker 4: Oh, it's a stock, that's right.

Speaker 1: So you're good.

Speaker 4: Then you're good, then you're gucci. So the car all

those guns like as long as you're playing an assault

legend and you crack somebody, you get basically like your

reloads like half a second.

Speaker 2: Yeah, no, these are all I've had fun with all these.

I haven't also tried the sniper stock. I don't use

long rangeom so there it is. I I still want

to mess around with these and kind of figure out how,

like what guns are good. I also want to see

how some of the you know, best players in the

game work around with these. I'm sure they're just gonna

find some tech that's insane with all the different ones.

But it will make things, Yeah, it will make things

very interesting. But I didn't find them to be like, oh,

I'm it's like way.

Speaker 1: Too overpowered, like a game changer, but then again, like

we haven't really had that much time, and also you

never know. Time will tell, their their time will tell.

Speaker 2: Now, the one thing that does suck is the energy

AMMO rework for people who love energy weapons VOLT users.

Speaker 1: This one already forty five users, HAVOC users, users, abusers.

What's the take, Kyle?

Speaker 4: So, I told we're talking to our pal Donnie about

this today, And I thought about this even before the

patch dropped because I was reading about how it works,

and after testing, I've come to the conclusion that I

think I was right. Basically, I think this energy we

work is really good for long range energy weapons and

it's really shitty for the short range energy.

Speaker 2: Which have been a prop Yes specifically VOLT has been

has had times where it's like difficult, but I think

this still does affect even though you can use it

at long range. I think it still does affect the nemesis.

Speaker 4: It does affect the nemesis definitely. But once again, so

the way it works is like you have a certamount

at MAGS because it carries a certmat battery life and

then the recharge on it is a long ass time.

They say eighteen seconds, It's like a fucking minute.

Speaker 1: It's long.

Speaker 4: So like it's not like you put that shit away,

pull out your other gun, shoot for a little bit,

and then you pull that gun back out and it's

fully recharged.

Speaker 3: No, No, eighteen seconds is a long time in this like

a fight.

Speaker 4: Yeah. So, but the one thing I will say is

it gets four mags, So I mean, it's not like

with one battery.

Speaker 3: Depends what gun it is.

Speaker 4: Yes, it gets four mags for a Nemesis. What I

will say, you get three mags for a triple take,

you get the one one. The one that I really

don't like is you only get two mags for an

Ari forty five, which I feel like is just not good.

Speaker 2: I think they're just I think they're doing exactly what

they want to here. I don't think they want people

using the RI forty five.

Speaker 3: Same with the Vault. The Vault you get the one

in the in the gun and then two extra two extra.

Speaker 1: Yeah.

Speaker 4: The one thing I will say about the Vault, because

I tested this out, the graffiti mod. Oh for whatever reason,

on the Vault, once you get the graffiti mod, it

recharges your gun at a really like a much faster rate.

Oh okay, so I will say the Vault might be

one of those secondaries that you could run on energy

as long as you can get the graffiti mod because

like I tested it, it gets energy back like almost

two times faster than just a regular energy gun.

Speaker 2: Yeah, so the Vault could still be in play, Yes,

still could be used. Yeah, so the energy changes will

have to see. But I think this was a very

pointed and purposeful change. I think they're trying to just

a HARDENR.

Speaker 1: Yeah.

Speaker 2: I think they're trying to discourage the use of energy,

at least in the context of up close. Like Kyle

was saying, if you could still use it on long range,

then you know, it is what it is.

Speaker 3: You can use it, it's just you don't have as much freedom.

Speaker 2: Which I think they've been struggling with energy for a

long time trying to figure it out. And I wouldn't

even be surprised if they toyed with the idea of

just completely getting rid of energy and just giving each

gun to a different like mag type or it's so

funny that you.

Speaker 3: Say that, because they literally just gave not just gave

the R over from like yeah, not that long ago.

Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that they look back on that now

and they're like, ah, why did we shoudn't have done that?

Speaker 1: Yeah, probably shouldn't have done that.

Speaker 2: Like Sniper works, I think maybe they look at the

Energy and they're like, we might have.

Speaker 1: Fucked with this.

Speaker 3: I feel like you can't go back though now you

can't because it's always been there.

Speaker 1: Yeah, it's always been there.

Speaker 3: They took our hot zones away, so you never did

take that. Well.

Speaker 4: Energy was actually the first and only bullet type they

ever added, I think after Sniper was.

Speaker 1: I think Energy was.

Speaker 3: Energy was in the game originally.

Speaker 4: I think, no Triple Take.

Speaker 1: It was the first update. I think the Havoc, the Havoc.

Speaker 4: Yeah, the Havoc and then the Triple Take.

Speaker 3: What was the triple take before Triple Take in OG?

Wasn't it No Triple take was in OG? Wasn't it

was Triple Take in Devotion? For Energy?

Speaker 1: I thought, oh maybe, oh yeah, no, Energy was Energy

was l Star though. You know why we're thinking that

because the like, I think the Havoc was the first

gun to come in, and it was an energy gun.

Speaker 5: That true came in season one, and then the l

Star dropped as a care package.

Speaker 3: They really pushed that select fire on the Havoc. Yeah,

that was not good.

Speaker 1: They tried their best. They tried their best to push it.

That's crazy. I don't know why I thought that Energy

wasn't one I launched.

Speaker 3: Because you only had the two guns and oh.

Speaker 1: You know what, it was too.

Speaker 2: I think nobody ran Energy because it was so hard

to find the AMMO for it at the beginning.

Speaker 4: That's why I think they're doing this too.

Speaker 5: There wasn't enough guns in the beginning for energy. It

is the reason why they never added uh the bow

for so long. They wouldn't put the bow on the

ground because they didn't want to rebalance the AMMO.

Speaker 1: Yeah.

Speaker 2: Interesting, Now you don't have to pick up I completely

forgot about that ship.

Speaker 3: Just like Energy.

Speaker 1: That some quick the balance. You don't have to pick

up AMA for the bow. Yeah, some quick.

Speaker 2: Other changes that they've added, like small slight ones that

are kind of interesting. You can now volunteer to be

the jump master before the game starts, so like when

you're in the character select screen, like you can just

click I want to be the jump I.

Speaker 3: Can just relinquish.

Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't have to click.

Speaker 2: Shit, you could just wait till somebody else clicks it

and then and then you're good. So pretty pretty simple

stuff there.

Speaker 1: Uh.

Speaker 2: And then other than that we can get to the

legends here Bloodhound. We've already kind of gone through what

was going to happen with Bloodhound. There's going to be

invisibility added to the game. There was going to be

the reworking of the Ultimate the path. The tactical is

also changed, and after looking at some of the changes here,

I think I underestimated the invisibility a little bit. I

actually do think it it can make a difference. It's

not exactly a halo invisibility. It is really hard to

see people sometimes. Yeah, but the second they shoot, they're there,

or the second they use an nobility, they're there.

Speaker 1: You can see them.

Speaker 2: It gives you like maybe a half second change on

you know, when you could have seen them before versus now,

which can be all the difference. But you know, you

can also run through the alt if they throw it

too close, and then you can do the same thing

to them. Yes, the tactical I thought was going to

be a lot better than I thought it was. I

don't know how you feel about it.

Speaker 4: I'll give you my thoughts. What do you think?

Speaker 2: I thought that the ticking where it was like it

shows them almost like a heartbeat. For the snapshots, I

actually felt like they kind of made it worse.

Speaker 4: So let me tell you why. I think it's good. Okay,

because the old scan only lasted a few seconds, but

you were on scan the entire time. This one, which

she still does that, Yeah, this one, it's actually longer,

but you only get the snap shots.

Speaker 3: Well, so you get a full body scan for three seconds.

Speaker 4: You get a full body scan for three seconds. After that,

there's a snapshot every three seconds.

Speaker 3: Yeah, second and a half.

Speaker 4: Yeah, second and a half. So that's like that's you're

on scan for a much longer period of time.

Speaker 3: And they're watching you for seven No, what is four

times one point five?

Speaker 4: Is that it's about seven eight eight and a half

seconds almost nine seconds total? Yeah, yeah, nine seconds total.

That's a long fucking time. So I mean like there

was times where I was playing blood today and I

was like, I scanned the last person to see if

I can get a res off. I can see from

the ticks that they're healing themselves. Yeah, so I know

I have time to do it.

Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, I felt like every time I was

playing with a Bloodhout on my team, which was every game,

it wasn't that it was throwing me off. I think

the snapshots were just like, well, yes they could be

going this direction, but they could also fake me out,

fake me out, like building play could be different.

Speaker 1: I don't know. I've only gone through it a few times.

Speaker 2: Like I'm sure if I played against it more, it

might be similar to like Wildcard, where I didn't like

it at first and then I was like, Okay, this

is fine. I just in the short time I've played

against it, I felt like it didn't help me as

much as I thought it was going.

Speaker 4: To think it's gonna be an adjust but.

Speaker 1: It could be an adjustment period. I could.

Speaker 2: I could see that happening. I also thought the passive

that was actually really good. I think for Bloodhound, the

Why Ravens like really much better.

Speaker 3: No, just look at it now, right, you just look.

Speaker 4: It's like when you scan a care package. It's like

one of those No, it's like a little weep yep

and then it goes or you can just run up

to it and click square or whatever and then just go.

Speaker 3: You can still scan it too, right, yes, and you

can still scan. It's still refunds if you don't scan anyone.

Speaker 4: It refunds if it don't scan anyone Yeah near you.

Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just crazy.

Speaker 2: So the cloak lasts eight seconds, and sorry, the cloaking

area last eight seconds. The cloak itself last twelve seconds

leaving the area, and it breaks when you take damage,

fire your weapon, or use most abilities. Bloodhound's abilities can

be used without breaking cloak.

Speaker 3: So looking at these screenshots, the first screenshot it shows

on the patch, note, I didn't even know there was

a person there. Yeah, second one you can kind of tell.

Speaker 4: So from playing with it, the thing I will say

is the more you move with it, because it gives

you a twenty percent movement speed boost when you're in

the old and you're invisible. So the more you move

with it, I feel like it harder it is to

see you. Yeah, if you stop wild, when you stop moving,

that's when it's easier to see you because it has

like the weird blue lines that go through you. And

so I think there's going to be a lot of

things that are like really overpowered, Like I've already seen

some like axle cues into fucking blood all feel.

Speaker 3: Like Revenant because he doesn't make sound when he walks.

Speaker 4: Right, yes, when he crouches crouch.

Speaker 3: I feel like he could have some wicked shit.

Speaker 1: Yeah, it's uh. I.

Speaker 2: In the video, they really made it look like it

was a halo cloak where it was like you're you're

kind of like wavy. Yeah, it's not like that, Like

it is actually really hard to see people sometimes.

Speaker 3: I do like that you can see that the thing

is placed, like the thing, because I thought that that

wasn't gonna be a thing, and you just fucking get

ran up on.

Speaker 2: You remember the the DMR spire on monument, the one

that we would always fight at on DMR. Oh, Yeah,

So I got into a fight up there where somebody

had placed the old So I walk through it. I

know there's guys up there with me, and I could

not find them really until they shot. And then eventually

like we could get in there and figure it out.

But it was like I couldn't see them till they shot.

They couldn't see me, and it just kind of it

was actually like pretty difficult.

Speaker 4: The farther you are away too, the more cloak you are,

because it's like you can't see the little blue line

to whatever you have like a hell of good scope.

Speaker 3: Yeah, so I wonder does the the sniper did you

throat see through it.

Speaker 1: I don't know.

Speaker 4: I never tested that, but very nice case. But so

one thing, there is a few counters to it. Sparrow

tracking Dart can still scan you while you're invisible. Okay, uh,

sr can still heartbeat sense you.

Speaker 3: I'm sure you can still get bloodhound cud.

Speaker 4: You can't get bloodhound cute. You can't get blood while

you're invisible.

Speaker 3: It wouldn't make sense for bloodhound to counter bloodhound.

Speaker 1: Yeah.

Speaker 4: Yeah, you can't get bloodhound cute you. I don't know.

I don't think sear scan can hit you either, which

I think is kind of weird.

Speaker 3: I wonder if the cryptodrone does anything.

Speaker 4: Cryptodrone cannot see you while you're invisible either. So there's

a lot of scans that like don't do anything for you,

but for some reason nichely Sparrow.

Speaker 1: Does interesting play Sparrow, I guess Sparrow. Yeah.

Speaker 2: And then some of the upgrades new for Bloodhound hidden

sight using the olt refreshes your tactical and using the

tactical while cloak hides the visual effects from enemies.

Speaker 4: That shit's broken, by the way.

Speaker 1: Okay, there's another one. Bird's eye.

Speaker 2: White ravens will split and fly to the two nearest

enemies on different squads, and then the newest one in

level three shooting. Your shooting tempor temporarily interrupts your cloak

instead of breaking it. Oh, so you can go back,

you can go back into the cloak.

Speaker 4: That one's kind of busted because I've seen some plays

where they go invisible. They like run up on a

guy one mag him with an R nine and then

go back invisible, hide somewhere, and then another guy comes

out to see, like, hey, what the fun my dude,

and then he runs back out beams the other guy.

So like, that's where you can get.

Speaker 3: You can get a little little rat going, you.

Speaker 4: Get a little crazy with it.

Speaker 1: Gorilla warfare.

Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's kind of insane. Yeah, So I'll have

to see and play a little bit more to figure

out where.

Speaker 1: Bloodhound is at.

Speaker 2: But I do think there was a lot of people

saying they felt like Bloodhound wasn't even that much better.

Only time will tell. Because it is the first day,

literally day one, it's day one.

Speaker 4: I feel like Bloodhound is better, but I don't know

how much better.

Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll have to see.

Speaker 3: It's not like truly broken. I wouldn't say no what

I'm hearing.

Speaker 4: It feels like they're just kind of like now amongst

the characters that can be.

Speaker 1: Played, Yeah, now patrolling if you pick now.

Speaker 2: Moving into Loba here, this is a character I actually

think because of the way the season has been moved around,

I actually think Loba has a lot more value because

of the loop and the Ultimate goes down faster, which

is really nice. And then the range has been increased

so you can get more stuff, and getting Lobo like

ultimates is really good for your early game, Like constantly

getting Lobo Ultimates really helps out. And it seems like

every time we've used one, it's like you're getting a

red attachment. If you're in like any sort of POI,

like any big, any big POI, it seems like.

Speaker 1: You're getting one maybe.

Speaker 2: Two, yeah, which is big. And I think just because

of that change, it's been like really good. They also

reduce the cool down on the Ultimate.

Speaker 1: By like thirty seconds, so pretty good, pretty good stuff.

Speaker 4: And so the bracelet's crazy quick Bracelet is nuts go far,

it goes really far.

Speaker 1: I haven't seen a Rampart yet, so I haven't had

to go against it. But I do think in the

competitive level, I think Rampart is going to get played.

She was already getting played. I don't know if she's

going to be one of the first to be played,

but I do think she's going to get some play if,

like match Point gets to a deeper game because more

bands out, There's just a lot of utility she can

bring with her walls. They're stronger now.

Speaker 2: Moving speed with Sheila is always a good thing to have,

especially on a character that's a controller.

Speaker 1: So you have all that there.

Speaker 4: I haven't moved with too, Like you're fast, oh really yeah?

And then also like because of also like we'll get

to it. But the hemlock getting nerved where like the

grenade launcher doesn't do it, can't one shut the walls anymore,

makes her just way better.

Speaker 1: Yeah.

Speaker 3: You don't have a hard counter on the floor.

Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't have a hard counter that they could

just pick up at your shit anytime.

Speaker 1: Yeah.

Speaker 2: Yeah, moving into Valkyrie, she's back at McDonald's.

Speaker 1: They actually left a spot open for it's bad. She's

actually bad.

Speaker 2: Oh, actually, yeah, it's bad like I, I don't know,

you're just looking at the tactical.

Speaker 1: It's bad.

Speaker 2: Bays damage reduced from twenty five to fifteen.

Speaker 4: Yep, McDonald's.

Speaker 2: They adjusted the missile attack angle as they approach their target.

This reverts an element of her season twenty seven change

where the missiles were able to fly over tall buildings

or walls and dive straight down on top of players.

The ultimate fifteen percent base height reduction, and then her

upgrades the eye in the sky reduced through all scan

distance to a one hundred meters and then uh, the

sonic the upgrade supersonic reduced reduction in blast off time

improvement now reduces launch time by forty percent instead of

fifty percent.

Speaker 3: So that was actually they said, hey, fuck, was she

like nasty?

Speaker 4: So she was really good in camp because kind of

get out of jail free and the scans.

Speaker 2: Yeah, and also when she first got buffed, it was

like you could land on somebody, hit them with the

tacticle while you were in mid air, fuck them up,

stun them, kill one at least, okay, and then now

a squad's down.

Speaker 3: It was needed.

Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but now she's at McDonald's.

Speaker 5: It's almost like every time they make a legend that

has the ability to engage incredibly aggressively or even escape

like just pretty much free, it's broken and they need

to revert it every time.

Speaker 1: Let's get Hopefully they will hear that about Axel one

of these days, not Axl. Sorry I meant to Altar.

Altar is just still like you go all the way

back from a fucking rev taint.

Speaker 5: Yeah, all the way back Wraith o G Wraith the

ability to escape freely.

Speaker 1: Wraith actually had some skill you had to.

Speaker 5: Have, Yeah, but like you would still be able to

get out of any fight almost for free.

Speaker 4: Race Meta now, Brian, So I mean she kind of back.

Speaker 2: She kind of back, She kind of back. She gets

a double jump inside her uh her attack.

Speaker 1: Now she's giving that to everybody. Yeah, and it lasts

twice as long too as one of the perks. But yeah,

so there.

Speaker 4: It is another niche thing that I saw that you

could do with blood handlt is valk Pop's hurled and

then you throw the blood handlt over the top of

val and then you can go and do all and

fly through the air.

Speaker 1: No h, sorry, I got distracted by this movie watching Underworld.

Speaker 3: Oh damn.

Speaker 1: Oh shit, he's up. Oh he's a big time. Moving

on into the next one.

Speaker 2: Here we've got Axel reduce max slide boost time from

five seconds to three seconds.

Speaker 1: Ultimate now affects self and allies. So when you throw

your little drone and it pops people up and it

hurts you and your allies if they're close, Axel self

gets damage, stunned and displaced, and allies get stunned into displaced,

but they won't take damage. Yeah you, So there it is.

Seer got some changes.

Speaker 2: This was a hot fix from a couple days ago,

I believe, No, this was from seven to two.

Speaker 1: So reduce the home base upgrade modified to two and

a half.

Speaker 2: This will take the tactical cool down eight seconds instead

of five while in the old zone. And moved home

base upgrade two level three and then move to Engineering

Focus upgrade.

Speaker 1: To level two. So there it is. Everything with all

of the characters is right there. So Valkyrie, Axel and

Seer takes some nerves obviously Rampart and low but takes

some buffs along with Bloodhound. Those are the characters and

that is just about it. Boys.

Speaker 2: The only the thing is they did take make some

changes on the amp, the power booster AMP removed, tactical

charge granted on knock.

Speaker 4: That's good.

Speaker 1: Yeah, amps, I just wish they delete from the game.

You loved them, No, I hated them at the Star.

I still don't like them. I think I'd just rather

have helmets back.

Speaker 4: I think amps are good. I just think that they

need to be more careful with what amps they put in.

Speaker 1: I think they need to get rid of the overhealer one.

Speaker 4: The overheel one they definitely need to get rid of.

I think the infinite bats one's fine.

Speaker 1: Infinite bats I think is fine. Infinite AMMO, I think

can be fine.

Speaker 4: Infinite AMMO with energy guns is now to be necessary almost.

Speaker 2: Yeah, I think with infinite amma, I do think you

have to draw the line at the fucking kraber like

I think.

Speaker 1: Not, No, you get having I think you gotta draw

the run it No.

Speaker 3: No, Well, besides maybe ballistic.

Speaker 4: The craziest thing is the All Star game. The All

Star can uh basically has infinamo now because it has

the same energy thing as all the other energy guns

where recharges over time, except for it gets five mags

per charge instead of just like two or three.

Speaker 1: Yeah.

Speaker 2: Uh, I did forget the weapons here the G seven

Scout is back on the floor, so G seven back,

thirty thirty goes in the care package.

Speaker 1: It's gross.

Speaker 2: Just think about all the seasons where you didn't want

to play because the thirty thirty was being used.

Speaker 1: That's what the level of that it's had.

Speaker 4: It's really gross. And a shadow caps.

Speaker 2: As Kyle said, the hemlock got nerf, so they just

did reductions on the breach charge what it could do

to hard light and also the damage by one. The

alternator also got nerf reduced the damage. I did enjoy

this Alternator season, this last Yeah, I had fun with all.

Speaker 4: To be honest, it's still really good.

Speaker 2: It's still really good. I still like it. I needs

a mag doesn't need a mag, but it's pretty bad.

Already forty five got the damage nerfed and also the

purple magazine was nerved as well. Also R ninety nine

also gotten nerved by by one damage.

Speaker 1: So there it is.

Speaker 4: It needs needs a mag bad at least it's not

at eleven.

Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but that is about it. Sorry.

Speaker 2: After that the weapons, those are the patch notes Boys

and Girls. Time remains to be seen on how the

season will actually go but this will most likely be

the season unless right at the very end they make

a change or do something in the split that we're

going to be seeing in Las Vegas. Speaking of Las Vegas,

we are going to be there. If you guys want

to check us out, say what's up?

Speaker 1: Say hello? We have historian Nate will also be there.

Speaker 2: He will be there on the way, as well as

all the GMB Extended Universe minus one or two. Most

of us will all be there, so it'll be a

fantastic time.

Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. We're gonna throw it on down to

the voicemails and send you guys on the rest of

your week. Let's get it all right.

Speaker 2: Ladies and gents, let's get to the voicemails here. Currently

watching Underworld on the TV at Chris has no idea network.

I shouldn't say no idea.

Speaker 1: I guess he has no idea. He's never watched some movie.

You want to hit the subtitles. It's I guess I

could hit the subtitles like I guess I could do that.

Uh oh yeah, like him.

Speaker 3: Are they gonna mix them?

Speaker 1: He might they might mix That's crazy.

Speaker 3: That's not allowed in the Vampire where we'll feud that

I just learned about.

Speaker 1: Yeah, you know they feud. Ye, there's like Twilight, there's

like a turf wark that they new down. I thought

they liked each other.

Speaker 3: Wrong button based, I hit the wrong I definitely hit

the wrong Button's for some great tell audio experience.

Speaker 1: Great titles on. Let's put them in Spanish. Okay, okay?

Speaker 3: Are we are? We an hour and the hour already

watching this?

Speaker 1: Very confused? Where we were I was to say, I

was like, this is very odd. Start over, started over, started,

Why you're spoiling the movie? I didn't watch it before,

probably watched it.

Speaker 3: He got captured. Bro, I'm I know.

Speaker 1: Yeah, Caleb, probably, I know they're going to make some blood.

Can I say one.

Speaker 3: Thing the sci Fi channel low key bangs?

Speaker 1: Can we talk about how great the shitty shark movies are?

Speaker 3: We're talking about Sark.

Speaker 1: I saw no, no, no, there's there's another one called

Shark water Park with the shark like bust out of

the slides and shipped and double Yeah.

Speaker 4: Yeah, I told you get yeah, they got nice views

in the right now.

Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a great cinematography, is really like the score.

Speaker 5: I told my dad, we're gonna do a giant shark

movie marathon one of these days, Just an all day

long marathon of just the shitty shark movie, starting with Jaws.

Speaker 2: At the very end, just put the Sharks losing the

Stanley Cup Finals.

Speaker 1: It's actually the best.

Speaker 3: It's just a good shark movie.

Speaker 5: Yeah, shark movie. No no that you start with that

and then just progressively get worse.

Speaker 4: And that's my favorite song in it.

Speaker 3: You get to like Sharknado five told me the way

to go. You got it?

Speaker 2: Met Meg, Meg megs are good good. They have Dhite

shrewd in them. From the office.

Speaker 1: Meg is not good. Meg is good. Meg one is

really good.

Speaker 2: Okay for like it's good for like it's good for

like understanding it's a bad movie.

Speaker 1: We're recording all this right now, we are. Can that

just be our intro?

Speaker 3: That's a family guy.

Speaker 1: I don't know how it would make that work.

Speaker 5: Just just press play and it's just not talking, shut up,

And then maybe I don't think that's just.

Speaker 4: Be the prequel.

Speaker 2: I just like I just think about the person who's like,

oh yeah, let me check out this show.

Speaker 1: The new season Apex just started.

Speaker 2: They're talking about fucking Meg and shark movies, you know,

I mean no, you just let them and.

Speaker 1: Be like, sorry, boys, we got sidetracked and started the show.

Speaker 3: What we're doing voice?

Speaker 1: We are doing voice, all right? That works. First one

comes from Ryoby Tools.

Speaker 3: Oh ship, it's just gonna.

Speaker 6: Be a drill.

Speaker 1: I'm trying to say, my pants, really glad I forgot

to go through that. Let's talk about the state of

APEX right now.

Speaker 4: Not good?

Speaker 1: Why the fuck am I using Ryoby Tools for my energy?

Speaker 5: I'm talking about your battery screen tools with battery life.

Speaker 1: Come on, that only sounds.

Speaker 7: Like one thing to me.

Speaker 3: Tools pretty good, where jewels are pretty good. Milwaukee one hand,

that's not bad.

Speaker 1: But damn damn, I don't like that change very much.

Speaker 7: To be fair, that's doing fucking mass with my attachments.

Speaker 6: Bro.

Speaker 1: We're starting to get a little bit more complex.

Speaker 3: They really, And.

Speaker 1: It's still color coded. The attachment still color coded.

Speaker 4: Yeah, but now they have the stats on other guns,

so it tells you what kind of boost each attachment

gives you.

Speaker 3: I feel like you're always picking up the higher tier

attachment no matter.

Speaker 1: That's why I thought it was weird.

Speaker 2: And then when we were in the game, because me

and Kyle tested it earlier. When it when you're in

the game and you click, you like, it'll be like

handling plus five, like plus five from what like what?

Speaker 3: Like?

Speaker 1: What is what is the what's the base? What's the base?

Speaker 4: My favorite thing is when you scroll over your gun,

it just has a stat that says head how much

head does it?

Speaker 1: Her gun is there? There is a attachment that we

definitely already talked about, uh that You're gonna love the

name of it. It's it's a good it's a real

good name.

Speaker 4: It's a really good name.

Speaker 1: It's a fantastic name. Yeah. The Energy change, I think

that was on purpose. I think they wanted.

Speaker 2: Them to be as bad as Ryobi tools on purpose

because energy AMMO and energy weapons have kind of dominated

the game for a pretty long time. You think of

the Havoc seasons, you think the volt seasons are already

forty five has basically been the nuke machine.

Speaker 3: In the Nemesis.

Speaker 2: The Nemesis and forgot about the Nemesis. And at one

point the charge rifle was energy to take. Oh and

triple Take. I forgot about the triple Take. Yeah, so

those have all been a thing.

Speaker 4: We're gonna already talk about this, but I have a

take for the energy weapons. Yeah, you would have already

heard by now.

Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's interesting.

Speaker 3: Do you agree with I'm not.

Speaker 1: Going to speaking of the tools. Enough about it.

Speaker 3: Yeah, speaking of.

Speaker 2: The tools, I just want to say, I feel like

the Walult Either people absolutely hate the Walt.

Speaker 1: Or their they're chill tools.

Speaker 3: Actually I used to hate on them.

Speaker 1: Really, I've known that's someone who doesn't like the water.

Speaker 3: I've used them, and now I like them.

Speaker 4: Lives and dies.

Speaker 1: Every I've met so many people who don't like it.

Speaker 3: I like Milwaukee Tools, but everyone likes Milwaukee.

Speaker 1: Tol I was about to say I like Milwaukee, but

not the price point. Well no, yeah, very nice, But

I'm actually a Cobalt guy.

Speaker 3: Kidding, I don't. I don't think I've met anyone that

shops at Low's over Home Deep.

Speaker 2: The Home Deep, I don't really funk with you. Home

Depot feels like it was made for the working class.

Lows feels like it was made for yeah like the Yeah, yeah, yeah,

it's too clean in there.

Speaker 1: Else it doesn't smell enough like sawdust. They're not selling

hot dogs at the front door.

Speaker 5: A new guy showed up to my dad's work, right,

because my dad's running the finished crew, and he brings

one of the fucking little tiny measuring tape measures, little

tiny silver ones.

Speaker 1: You guys know which ones I'm talking about. Yeah, and my.

Speaker 5: Dad takes it and he goes, hey, let me see

your tape, and they tossed his tosses him the tape

and he goes, the fuck is this thing? He goes,

go get a real fucking tape. You're not a homeowner?

Speaker 3: Yeah, true, that is a homeowner's tape measure, it is. Yeah,

but you know that is I do like a Craftsman wrench.

Speaker 1: So Craftsmans I have nothing resends. Okay, Craftsman's fine, that's all.

That's all. That's a big harbor freight guy.

Speaker 5: Well, then the nice craft is it's American Maid, which

means it's got the lifetime warranty on it. So if

your wrench ever snaps or something, you can just go

take it in and get replaced.

Speaker 3: I've never had a wrench, I'm sorry, you've.

Speaker 1: Never thrown a pry bar on it trying to work

on a car.

Speaker 3: No, I figure you might need a better wrench, a

bigger wrench.

Speaker 1: If that's the case, I've always had, like the wrench better,

and you.

Speaker 5: Don't have a bigger wrench, and you really need to

get this fucking boat off.

Speaker 4: I've always tried to get the bolt off, but you know,

sometimes I don't have a big enough wrench.

Speaker 1: Sometimes you can't.

Speaker 2: That's the problem, Space, That's that's truly the problem. I

always when I'm out looking for wrenches, I'm always trying

to find the biggest wrench I can find.

Speaker 1: Ain't that I wanted to barely fit in my hands.

Speaker 4: See, I just want to something big enough to get

the bolt off.

Speaker 1: You know what I mean, because like get my bolt off.

Speaker 6: Yeah.

Speaker 4: The hardest thing is just trying to I can't.

Speaker 2: So, yeah, I'm trying. I want the biggest wrench to

get my bolt off. I can't even find the fucking

bolt mine. Yeah, I have trouble pull out a flash,

gotta pull out a headlamp to the user manual and.

Speaker 1: Got a lot tight on it exactly. The next one

comes from Uncle Jack.

Speaker 7: So boys, I'm from Jack here. I just want to

say congratulations to why and making it big. Just watched

the most recent jump of video. Don't don't forget us

when you're at the.

Speaker 4: Top there, Wyatt, Yeah, jump you.

Speaker 1: Were there for you, especially Brian. Yeah, don't forget Brian.

Speaker 7: You can forget Kyle.

Speaker 4: Yeah, you can see him at the top.

Speaker 7: Don't forget Brian.

Speaker 3: He's not Hollywood on us in the jump of video.

Speaker 7: Yeah, just watch the most recent videos. It's great and

joy life.

Speaker 3: In what capacity are you in the jump of video?

Speaker 1: I haven't watched a jump of video. I've actually only

watched one.

Speaker 3: Your likeness, I've watched a jump of video.

Speaker 1: I watched them Monsoon one when we were going to

interview Monsoon for some research. And Jay and Jumble always

get on me because they consume some of our stuff

and they help us out all the time. And I

haven't watched their videos yet, and I do feel bad

about that.

Speaker 3: I get them on my I'm subscribed.

Speaker 1: I'm subscribed. Yeah, I'm subscribed.

Speaker 5: Every time it shows up on my feed on YouTube,

I do watch them.

Speaker 3: I need to watch the last time it showed up,

I didn't click on.

Speaker 1: My algorithm does not bring them to me that often.

Speaker 3: I don't consume a lot of apex contact.

Speaker 1: Because I thing was sometime too much anymore.

Speaker 2: My thing is I wanted to save him for like

a long trip so I could watch all of them.

Speaker 3: M hmmm mmm, because then like then I have the time.

You probably watch one on the way to Vegas.

Speaker 4: Come up with a video every month, though, do they really?

Speaker 2: Sometimes sometimes I'll have in the video extended breaks jumbas

can be.

Speaker 3: Comments are filled with people saying he remembered his password.

Speaker 1: Yeah, because he takes so long. It takes take forever.

Speaker 3: You know.

Speaker 4: It's funny when I aver I talked to him, like,

so you try to come with the like a video

every month. He's like, yeah, I try to do it

every month. And now that I'm listening to you guys,

he lied to.

Speaker 3: Well, he can try.

Speaker 1: Her tries doesn't mean it happens like Jay Jay and

Jumbo will. They both try to like their best to

get them out, but sometimes they take longer.

Speaker 4: Yeah, it's probably like every three months then they come up.

Speaker 1: Yeah.

Speaker 3: Yeah, like there's only so much they have to make

videos on too.

Speaker 1: They have to wait.

Speaker 3: Yeah, I have something crazy happens in like the Pro

league or something.

Speaker 2: All the boys have been getting super deep into Cus,

like not just playing it but also watching it. And

I do feel you could jump in discord when everyone

want nobody invites anybody.

Speaker 4: I will invite you. I I will be right next door, bro,

I will walk in. I'll be like, hey, we're playing Cus.

Who will come?

Speaker 1: I'll say, now, okay, So then what was the point

of this whole time?

Speaker 3: It's nice to be invited?

Speaker 1: Okay, here we go, all right. Uh, next one comes from.

Speaker 4: Invite you to play league with me? And you're gonna

be like, no, I don't think so.

Speaker 1: Next one comes from Serial box Killer.

Speaker 4: It's a joke.

Speaker 8: First time caller, one time listener. I've been listening since.

I think Double Digiti's for you guys. All the pods.

I loved all of them. I love all you guys.

Chris I wasn't really sure about for a little bit.

He's pretty good. He's but anyways, I do really miss Smasy. Anyways,

I think it would be pretty sick if I don't

know what everybody's schedules are like or how busy Troy

is in his personal life. But it would be awesome

if he was on for a real pod. I imagine

him going off and that would be pretty fun. Just

an idea, just the idea. But anyways, the reason I'm

calling is because I got a little story about work

this week. I work in construction, and I've been sick

all week. I got home from a vacation and I've

been sick all week. But my dad is injured, so

I've got to go and work no matter what, because

there's only a few of us employees. And anyways, so

I've been working all week. It is what it is.

And then yesterday I get in the car all excited

for work and drive a few minutes down the road.

I hop out of my car to grab something and

I shipped myself and.

Speaker 1: It was just a squirt, but it was enough.

Speaker 8: Had to be fixed, you know, because it's.

Speaker 3: Like you barely ship yourself, but it's already there.

Speaker 8: I started going to Target on the way, clean up,

do what I gotta do, and then finish my unfinished

business too, which was pretty tough.

Speaker 6: Guy.

Speaker 8: I felt bad for the guy in the next to

be in the stall. He uh he was in there,

but I could not. I couldn't stop what was coming.

Speaker 3: To make it quiet.

Speaker 8: Like whatever Brian said a couple of episodes ago about

sorry pallor You're in for it. It was I just

I ripped that thing a new one. It was tough,

but Anyways, That's that's about it. It was great, not

as bad as some of the other shop in my pants.

Speaker 3: Stories I've had, but damn you've had more.

Speaker 8: There was one time at home, you know, it makes

me feel as bad. Was making a sandwich, took my

work clothes off, was just wearing boxers. Luckily I was

alone at the time, and h shat myself.

Speaker 3: Hold up, new story, hold on, hold on what he's

got ship stories?

Speaker 4: Okay, I've never shot myself at home. I'm just my half.

Speaker 3: I've definitely done. That's usually where it is, they say, accident.

Don't want to know how you guys do this because

I eat poorly first off, and then when I get sick,

it's have you heard the ship that I eat? I've

got a bag of fucking Derrito's talkies waiting for me

when I get home.

Speaker 4: Buddy's talkies.

Speaker 3: Yeah, the d meet that those are fire.

Speaker 4: She's so bad legs.

Speaker 8: It just went straight to the ground.

Speaker 3: And that was so did you really shit your pants? Then? Yeah,

you ship the ground.

Speaker 8: I think you got a rival here, Kyle.

Speaker 4: I'm pretty good at it.

Speaker 3: It's an exclusive club on this podcast.

Speaker 2: He's listened since the Double Digits Yeah. We've been in

triple digits for a long.

Speaker 3: Time, a couple hundred episodes.

Speaker 1: And he called in only to talk about shitting himself.

And this is something Kyle has started.

Speaker 4: I'm glad you leveled with me, brother.

Speaker 3: I appreciate it takes a lot to admit that you

takes a lot to admit that you shout yourself in public.

Speaker 1: Wow. All right, yep, come, this is your lineage, this

is your legacy, legacy.

Speaker 4: I know about lineage legacy.

Speaker 1: Yes, the legacy you've left. No, No, they're Kyle lights.

You know they're high lights, Kyle lights.

Speaker 4: Stand up strong, brothers. Yeah, don't trust them.

Speaker 3: Sit down strong. Maybe, maybe maybe we should sit down

strong on our parcelain throne and not ship ourselves.

Speaker 1: It's the Game of Thrones, fucking thing. They with the

swords coming up.

Speaker 4: I'm smoking.

Speaker 1: Wow. That's that's something AI. That photo later, that's something else.

The next one comes from a famous pop star, Olivia Rodrigo.

Speaker 6: Ship what's up?

Speaker 4: But that sounds great?

Speaker 3: It's okay, Olivia. I just want to say, big fan.

Speaker 6: In the new season that's about to drop for you, guys,

it's already dropped. But dude, this looks insane, Like there's

something I don't agree with, like the whole loop change.

I don't know about that. But Blood looks great. Rampart,

I'm kind of pissed at because I'm not good at

rampart and I don't like playing against her.

Speaker 3: But you can hang your head.

Speaker 6: Yours anyways, But the Loba thing looks good. Blood looks great.

World's Edge, It's beautiful. But I'm so excited for Sorting Factory.

I didn't play back in the day with Sorting Factory,

but I did back when they would do like the

what do you call it where it would like bring

back Sorting Factory for events. One of the most fun

times playing World's Edge ever. So I'm glad they're bringing

that back. But I just I'm happy about this new season.

There's it's just I don't know, you know, Like i'd say,

the only bad thing about it is the loot. People

are gonna complain no matter what, so I don't really

care with that. But I wanted to ask, since you

guys are raped, I'm guessing you're doing a rating of

the skins for this event later. Have you seen the

skins for the Gibbie event? Because they look majestic, and

I think Chris would like conduits.

Speaker 1: Well, oh, I guess.

Speaker 3: I think it's beautiful, but she's naked.

Speaker 6: Yeah, I think that's gonna be all for today. I

haven't been able to send in one because I keep forgetting. Oh. Also,

when are we getting new bachelors? And well, Vegas real

and all that Vegas reel takes a lot longer, so

it does. That's all good, but we need some new bachelors,

even if it's just like doing poop.

Speaker 1: Pub Well, good news, got something for you.

Speaker 6: But yeah, I think that's gonna be it. Sorry, it's

kind of a longer voice smell, but.

Speaker 4: Better.

Speaker 1: Yeah. Uh yeah.

Speaker 2: So we actually just recorded a Bachelor that was exclusively

a list.

Speaker 3: Uh.

Speaker 2: I mean, we kind of barely talked about stuff at

the beginning, but it was probably one of the dumbest

lists we've ever done in our life. And it was

also probably one of the most fun ones we've done.

Speaker 1: Too, because it was so ridiculously stupid.

Speaker 2: Uh So that one is should be out as you're

listening to this right now if you haven't already listened

to it. But we you know, I'll let you figure

it out. I'll let you figure out what the list is.

But yeah, that is out, and then we are doing

a Mega Is reel on sher Noble. We've already started

doing the research for it, and we're going through and

doing all of our you know, just trying to figure

out pinpoint exactly what we want to say, because this

one isn't really.

Speaker 1: Like conspiracy per se. It's more of just an event.

Speaker 2: But we're trying to highlight and talk about cool things

that happened from Chernobyl while also highlighting some of the

things that were like really really bad and kind of

going through and just talking about the giant scope of

the story. There's a lot to Chernobyl, lots of different things, lots.

Speaker 5: Of layers, giant man eating catfish, not not that there is,

oh there is is there there There are some that

live at the base of the dam. I'll able to

have contact with humans, but the species that does live

down there are known to get to Maine eating size

and have hunted small children before.

Speaker 1: Are you fucking with me right now? I wish I

was Chris of.

Speaker 2: Prank Punk right now. All right, we'll have to get

into it. But the thing that we actually are trying

to do with Meg is reel. We actually do kind

of want to have like a like recorded part, like

a conscripted part when we get into it. Just for

the beginning, we're still gonna have the same stuff, but

it takes a little bit longer to do so we

do have those coming through very very soon. But all right,

ladies and gents, that's just about doing for this week's

edition of the Grab My Banner Podcast, last thing once again,

we'll throw it in your guys' minds Las Vegas.

Speaker 1: The boys will be there, and we have confirmed another

member who is pulling up to Vegas. Historian Nate will

be there in the flesh Friday, Saturday, Sunday. He is

gonna be there. It's gonna be a big time. It's

gonna be huge, it's gonna be gigantic. It's gonna be fantastic.

So pull up, say what's up at two to everybody

at Vegas, you know the.

Speaker 2: Lazy and gents that should just about doing for this

week's days.

Speaker 1: As John.

Speaker 4: Never come, never come, never come, cha.

Speaker 1: Cha, Junior child June about John
