289: It's Vacation Time + Voicemails

https://linktr.ee/AlmostDoneStu

Speaker 1: Up, everyone, Welcome back to another edition of the Grab

My Banner Podcast, episode number two hundred and eighty nine,

and ladies and gentlemen, the boys are on vacation. It

is good friend of the program, good friend of the

almost done studio, Richie's bachelor party, and all of us

are there. So it's going to be a quick episode

this week. We all have to get prepared to head

out to where we're going for the bachelor party. It's

going to be a fun time. But also didn't leave

us with a whole lot of time to get prepared

for the show, So we're just going to do some voicemails,

not really talk about much else, just kind of chill, hang,

do whatever to give us the easiest path to get

an episode out at the very least. But also, you know, prepare.

Brian couldn't make it tonight because he is really.

Speaker 2: Having to prepare.

Speaker 1: He's got a lot to work on before the trip happens,

and all of us are still trying to figure out

all of our rides, get packed, all of.

Speaker 2: That good junk, all that good stuff.

Speaker 1: So basically, just voicemails today, and if you guys want

to congratulate Richie as we head out over that bachelor party.

Wish us some safe travels, We would appreciate that, But boys,

we got some voicemails here. As far as any sort

of news on the APEX front, nothing much to say

other than I think we already said it. Bloodhound sucks.

Bloodhoun's not good. Blood Hen's not good, unfortunate. In fact,

me and Chris loaded a game up yesterday.

Speaker 2: Did you really game? We loaded a certain game up.

Speaker 3: Oh indeed, it starts with well fuck.

Speaker 2: Acronym is O w oh.

Speaker 1: Yeah, Overwatch baby.

Speaker 2: It went stupendously very good.

Speaker 3: We just played quickly.

Speaker 2: We just did quick Yeah, play, did not play.

Speaker 1: We dominated, but at one point, and it was right

after our first game six weeks we did both.

Speaker 4: Five.

Speaker 2: Five actually does feel a little bit better. Yeah, this ship,

it does feel.

Speaker 3: When you're on tank on sixty six, you're expecting to

be a little tank here.

Speaker 2: I think we're not used to it.

Speaker 1: I also think too, you're super tanky. It was open Q,

and I've always been against open Q. But when you're

playing open Q quick play and nobody wants to heal

and you have maybe just one healer and you're playing

to you're like hels like ship. So that could also

be why we thought.

Speaker 3: Five motherfucker's talking about let's run for DPS. Yeah, and

no one wants to swap, so it ends up being

on you to swap.

Speaker 1: And absolutely nobody saw absolutely nobody swap to worry about that. Yeah,

And the good thing is you can now pick like

multiple roles. I think maybe that's been a thing for

a while.

Speaker 4: But did you play roll Q last night as well?

Speaker 2: Yeah? We did roll quh.

Speaker 1: Most game I did tank in heels, Chris did tank

DPS and heels I think, yeah, and then Jay just

did straight DPS and it.

Speaker 2: Was pretty good.

Speaker 1: We had one game where we got fucking rolled, but

other than that, every game we actually did some rolling.

Speaker 3: There's a lot of just standing in the spawn door.

Speaker 2: We had him just stuck at the spawn door and

they couldn't leave.

Speaker 3: Was playing their new hero and she's actually kind of.

Speaker 2: There's this new tank.

Speaker 3: They buffed her.

Speaker 2: There's Kyle straight up diva. Reinhardt had a baby.

Speaker 1: Yeah, Like she has a insane they.

Speaker 3: A gun like in the mech She's got a sword

and a gun that's sick and a shield. It's not

a very good ship.

Speaker 2: But it's a it's a shield. Nonetheless, is she a tank?

Speaker 3: Yeah?

Speaker 1: Okay, pretty solid though she was fun. I had a

fun sash. I had a fun sash playing Overwatch. I

have been playing a lot of Apex too, mostly with Kyle,

and I have fun with that as well. I would

just say that as far as how everybody else is

enjoying it, if you were expecting, like the legend changes

to be good at all for your specific legend, a

lot of people like Bloodhound, it has not been a

good season for you. And if you were expecting to

be looted up past Circle two in this season, you're

just not.

Speaker 2: That's just not going to happen.

Speaker 5: Also, if you expect there to be more than six

squads past Ring one, you're also that's.

Speaker 2: Just an apex thing, I mean.

Speaker 5: Happens unless you're in like Diamond or above where you

actually have drops.

Speaker 4: Everybody's remember when they first they should have for all ranks.

That's why I.

Speaker 1: Think, remember they on that roadmap they said huge overhaul

next season.

Speaker 3: You think that's what it's going to be. Maybe part

of it.

Speaker 1: They've said it a bunch of times, so I can't

really take it at face value.

Speaker 4: But they got to fix it.

Speaker 1: I think that something that popped in my head pertaining

to APEX over this last week was I remember when

they first started doing this thing where they would buff

the hell out of certain legends and we were like, Okay,

that's interesting.

Speaker 2: That's cool.

Speaker 6: Yeah.

Speaker 1: I do think we've reached a point though, where it's

a little too much, and I think we need to

get back more into the gun play and less about

the abilities. Another thing that dropped also was they did

nerve amosist again, So they did nerve amosist. It's very

noticeable at the longer ranges. So that that's probably been

the biggest debate in APEX of all time. It always

happens no matter what. And I will say I'm okay

with controller being more balanced with M and K. The

one thing I noticed though, and Jay brought it up

to me, and with all the interactions I've had with

this entire debate, it put all the pieces together. He

was like, with M and K players, it seems like

the majority of them just don't want controller to like

exist at all in this game, whereas controller players are like,

all right, like M ANDK is going to be a

part of it. I just want to use this input.

And I feel like every person I've seen on Twitter

or on like any sort of debate on this, it

is kind of.

Speaker 4: Like that pretty much.

Speaker 1: I think M ANDK players do have to understand if

you want the game to continue to be successful, you

do have to have controller players in it, because console

is a major part of the game and a major

part of the player base, and also on PC lobbies,

like you have to.

Speaker 2: Have controller players. I think that has to be a thing.

Speaker 4: Also.

Speaker 5: I think it takes I don't think like mouse and

key players think about this, but all the like movement

gods and stuff, the people that they're doing, like the

tricks on and shit are probably controller.

Speaker 2: Players, oh one hundred percent.

Speaker 1: They are most times, I would say, or just a

players new or not as good, not as skillful.

Speaker 5: So I would say, like, if you want all that

kind of stuff like the fades and stuff like that,

you're gonna need control players.

Speaker 1: I also just never really thought that M and K

was as bad as people made it out to be.

Maybe before they changed the amosis the first time, you

could make that argument, but like when they changed it

the first time to lower the values down, before this

recent one, I mean if you look at just the

competitive scenes, like we had two triple MMK teams winning

like back to back lands, they've It's just like if

you don't use it as a crutch and you just

play your game, there's gonna be times where you get

cheated in times where you don't. It happens in every

single sport. It happens in life. It happens in every

single thing. Like if you look at any sport or

there's always a certain team who is taking advantage of

something that everybody else tries to swap to, and then

maybe it stays mainstream for a while and then they

somebody swaps it back. You know, it just happens like that.

I think that's just part of anything competitive.

Speaker 4: Imperio.

Speaker 5: Howe won two lands on MMK and then I think

he's won three on roller.

Speaker 2: I don't. I don't.

Speaker 1: I'd have to go back and see you when to open.

I don't know when he started using roller. I have

to go back and remember when he started. But I

think he I was surprised to see him upset about

it because he was a beast on MMK. I thought

he'd be fine to go back.

Speaker 5: Well, I mean he could do whatever he wants, I think,

But I mean I think he likes controller because it

doesn't take as much effort.

Speaker 2: I think, yeah, it's easier.

Speaker 1: Fun thing about roller is you can lean back. I

feel like, I know you lean back gaming. I can't

do shooters. Oh okay, yeah when I when I'm gaming,

I cannot lean back on m MK games.

Speaker 4: Oh I'm locked in.

Speaker 2: I got Yeah, you have to lean forward.

Speaker 1: And I feel like sometimes it's nice to have a

roller just to like chill, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5: Well, Roller, I feel like, so I've been trying to

play m AK more and I feel like if I

don't play MK for like a week and then I

come back to it, there's like a longer period of

time where I have to warm up for me to

feel good.

Speaker 2: For you, yeah, oh here we go. Whereas, like you

just said, Davis has.

Speaker 5: Got If I take a week off on controller and

I come back, there's like a less amount of time

where I have to warm.

Speaker 3: Up, and we also have more muscle memory. True for Controller,

I mean, you've been using it more than M and K.

Speaker 2: Yeah.

Speaker 4: I've been using it since I was like seven.

Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't know that debate. It's never

going to stop raging on. But they did nerfit a

little bit more. It remains to be seen if they're

going to leave it that way, but as of right now,

that is where it's at. There, they're chilling on on that.

For the backstory, for everybody who's listening right now, we

are watching Ballerina in the background with no sound with

on a to armis in the John Wick universe, we've

been watching a movie on silent every single episode. Last

week we watched ghost Writer too. I don't know if

you guys remember, and I only mentioned it like eighteen times. Yeah,

as we were watching that ship movie. This movie has

not been that bad. It's been alright.

Speaker 3: It's a John Wick movie.

Speaker 2: John Wick movie.

Speaker 1: And when you're watching action and like, maybe the dialogue shit,

and maybe the story sucks.

Speaker 3: She's also hot as hell.

Speaker 1: But when you're just watching the action, people are just

fighting each other, pretty sweet.

Speaker 3: It's pretty ohsing a wound right now with a knife.

Speaker 1: Oh wow, Oh that looks like it hurts. Also, John

Wicks aren't really known for their dialogue.

Speaker 3: Well, Keanu Reeves isn't really known for his dial He's

not I mean, I love him as an actor, but

I mean I heard him in Cyberpunk.

Speaker 2: He's not too fast at it.

Speaker 3: He's just kind of every character kind of just sounds.

Speaker 4: This depends on his character.

Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Cyberpunk, he's not very good either. Like when

he says his lines, I do feel like the lines

are kind of watching the.

Speaker 4: Matrix and then come back.

Speaker 3: I feel like it's also different if you're voice acting

compared to like in person actually acting.

Speaker 1: Yeah, and then in Cyberpunk they are trying to change

the slang yeah a little.

Speaker 3: Bit, talking to yeah, all that ship.

Speaker 1: They are trying to change it up a little bit,

which is fair for a game of like based in

that time. Yeah, the slang would be different.

Speaker 4: I'm saying, watch the Matrix, get back to me.

Speaker 3: Do you not watch the Never Seen the Hell?

Speaker 2: Why is that such a big deal? You do?

Speaker 6: You know?

Speaker 5: The Key and Blue Pill, the Red Pill, blue Pill, Morpheus, Morpheus.

Speaker 2: No, just watch the first one. Maybe I watch the

newest one first came out. I just want to.

Speaker 4: Yeah, you want to see you talk about the fourth one.

I'll get so pissed.

Speaker 2: That movie, the best one, that movie.

Speaker 4: Money grab.

Speaker 1: All right, let's into some of these voicemails here. First

one comes from King Chunch and it says, probably.

Speaker 7: Boys, this is King Chunch. Dude, I'll tell you guys

what I am so desperate for grab that band in media.

Speaker 6: Like i I'm not like episode I'm in like the

two thas on this weekend.

Speaker 7: My re listen of the Whole the Whole Pod bro.

Speaker 6: The like two hundred to two forty probably some of

my favorite banded episodes ever.

Speaker 7: And I'm talking like long continuous stretches.

Speaker 6: Those shits are funny, those shits are good, everyone's there,

They're amazing.

Speaker 1: I do feel like I'm gonna pauseitive very quick. I

so we always talk about like the early early days.

I do feel like that stretch we hit like a

flow state of exactly what we wanted to show to

and we were all like consistently still somewhat playing. Yeah,

like we were all like we weren't playing a bunch

what she's talking about? Yeah, yeah, Like we were all

even like because Brian, I don't think Brian's picked up

a controller in like a year and a half. And

it's I like, I understand where Brian's at right now,

because like he was never really that big of a

gamer to start with, this game caught his attention and

then you know it, like the time passed. But when

Brian is locked in on any game, the takes that

come from his brain are just like you can't replicate it,

you can't put it in a lab and like create,

you can't manufacture those. They only come from him. And

I started thinking about this yesterday when we were playing Overwatch.

If we had done an Overwatch show before Apex and

he had some of his takes, then I actually think

they would have been more egregious than the Apex.

Speaker 4: Was like the best character of all time, Yeah, the.

Speaker 3: Guy that can aim well.

Speaker 1: Brian's compositions he would cook up in Overwatch were diabolical. Yeah,

I mean like, oh dude, And I agree with King

Chun Shar though, because that was that was an era

where it was like we were hitting skits that we

thought were funny. The game also hadn't gotten so far

gone from like Legends and Ship. We were all somewhat

playing a little bit. The the sexual innuendos were at

a top notch uh like The Bachelor's funny as hell,

Like it was just like that was a good good time.

That was a good time. Yeah, I that was a

good era. That was a good era.

Speaker 6: I've gotten so desperate for content. I've rewatched. I've really

listened to all of megalon Is. I can't even go

back and listen to the Bachelors I liked.

Speaker 2: Sorry, we can fix that.

Speaker 6: That like saying it was some of the banners. I

don't know if those are back yet.

Speaker 2: Yeah, they should be.

Speaker 6: Because I just skip over, like the one fist. I

think it was the one fifties. I just skip over

that at the time because they weren't back. I'm so

down bad sweaters or whatever. I think it's all of

it that's deep.

Speaker 2: How did he even find that?

Speaker 7: I'm fucking tweaking one?

Speaker 2: Did he find any more?

Speaker 7: Laughs and giggles. What don't you why when you hear

bring that bag?

Speaker 2: Laughs and giggles.

Speaker 7: That was mildly entertaining.

Speaker 2: What where is he talking about? Sweaters?

Speaker 7: Get the kids on, Get the kids on the pod?

Speaker 2: I don't remember what I talked about and sweats whatever.

Speaker 5: Other than that, I think you only reference it in

like the first like five episodes.

Speaker 7: You say, or anyway, anyway.

Speaker 4: My man really went back and listening to all the

podcast isn't ending.

Speaker 2: Right, Listen, listen, we still play.

Speaker 3: Eight years old.

Speaker 1: We still play, It's just not as much. And also,

I think that we've had a lot of fun doing

the Bachelor's, doing the megs, those ones I think will

at this point when I think about it, I think

those would outlast GMB.

Speaker 2: For sure.

Speaker 1: And I've thought about doing GMB in a different way

where instead of just APEX, I would probably rename it and.

Speaker 2: It wouldn't really make sense with like other.

Speaker 1: Yeah, I would probably rename it. I'd probably keep the

same ip though, and have all those episodes there, but

I would just rename it and we would just talk

about whatever game we were on that that week or whatever, yeah,

or if.

Speaker 2: We wanted to make fun of something.

Speaker 1: And then I've also had the idea of doing like

an esports show with all the different esports, but instead

of taking it seriously, we literally just make fun of

stupid shit that happens. Like remember when we went to

New Orleans and that chick in the crowd had the

latiss for a how sign?

Speaker 4: Oh?

Speaker 1: Yeah, like things like that, you know, like funny things

that take place or like, yeah, like different shit like that.

I've thought about that a little bit. I've had a

lot of different ideas, but yeah, I mean as far

as like the Megs and the Bachelor's like that's just life.

I also thought about just straight up having a show

where we just click record and we.

Speaker 2: Just talk about whatever's there.

Speaker 1: Yeah, And normally I hate when people do that, especially

when they first start off, because people will be like they.

Speaker 3: Give any one podcast equipment.

Speaker 2: Huh, well, they will do that.

Speaker 1: But also like when people come up to me and

they're like, oh, you do podcasts, Like yeah, me and

my friends we're actually really funny and we're thinking about

just like hitting record and talking about anything. And usually

I hate that idea, but we're actually we established ourselves

I think first, So I don't think it would be

as bad.

Speaker 4: Every white boy's podcast though they.

Speaker 3: Like sit there and then it's like super quiet, like

they don't really talk about shit.

Speaker 1: I've always thought podcasting was much better when you had

a clear, defined on on what you were talking about.

Like we've always had the direction of Apex, and even

when we branch off, people know that we're gonna talk

a little bit of Apex somehow, someway or whatever. I'm sorry, bro,

you don't like this flavor, Bro, you don't like these?

Speaker 2: You don't like my honeydew.

Speaker 4: Strawberries Miami mant.

Speaker 2: Let me hit that. I want this bad boy.

Speaker 1: But yeah, I think it's always better when you have

a clear direction. That's why I think Bachelor was so fun,

especially early Bachelor. Uh but yeah, yeah, I mean I'm

happy to hear you're still enjoying it all those years later.

I always wondered, like how they would match up over time,

especially the older ones when we're talking about like Newcastle

Buffs when he first dropped you know, ship like that,

but hell, yeah what happened?

Speaker 2: Oh my god, she's kicking this guy's.

Speaker 3: Ass with a fucking ice skate.

Speaker 1: It would be funny if we started like one on

movies and TV shows and none of us have seen

or like me and Brian have just specifically never seen

any movie.

Speaker 2: Or TV show.

Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, like a book club of Brian would

make you on a strangler.

Speaker 2: But that's what's so great about Brian.

Speaker 3: Brian is the type of guy to just really enjoy

like Steven Sagall movies, Yes, like the one where he's

like the chef on the ship and the president comes

to visit you know what I'm talking about. I watched

that one. It's like Dad movies, you know it is.

It's like a movie or Dad rents from Blockbuster. It's like, Oh,

it's got Steven Sagall in it. It's gonna be.

Speaker 4: It's gonna be good.

Speaker 1: Brian would be like, say what you want. Expendable six

was a lot better than Dune three. He would say that.

Speaker 5: I wonder where Brian rates the Expendable movies, like the

first one.

Speaker 4: The first one was good.

Speaker 3: That was okay.

Speaker 4: No, Mighty Grab Bro, Mighty Grab City.

Speaker 2: Oh my god, she just fucked that guy up with

ice skates. Holy ship, she fucked that guy up with

ice skating.

Speaker 3: Yes she did.

Speaker 1: Oh damn uh king Chunch follows it up.

Speaker 7: A boys can chunch again.

Speaker 6: I also got to include pack a pod my previous voicemail.

Speaker 7: That's on me.

Speaker 2: That's on me.

Speaker 7: Yo. I was just on. I was just on TikTok

and I saw something. Bitch pull out apex Legends the

board game. Bro y'all, I'm gonna find him by that ship.

Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, that could that streaming stream.

Speaker 2: That could be a video. Also, the other plan I

had always.

Speaker 7: Thought of, come on, come on, you guys got it.

Speaker 2: No, we'll do that.

Speaker 1: The other idea I had with Banner before it got

hot as ship was I was gonna exclusively do it

for YouTube, and I was just gonna make it like

twenty minute videos of us doing like a ranking or

whatever and not do like a full pod that.

Speaker 2: You couldn't done it a while. But it's just because

it's hot as fuck.

Speaker 1: That's the only reason we haven't smertime tough, because my

thought was if we came, we recorded a video of

like something random, threw it up on YouTube, and then

also recorded like a meg or a Bachelor, I'd feel.

Speaker 2: Content with that, yeah, to be honest.

Speaker 1: So yeah, I also think that would be a much

more concentrated apex talk where it actually seems like we're

talking about it, rather than like loading up GMB, doing

voicemails for like an hour and a half and being like,

yeah this.

Speaker 4: Happened, talking shit.

Speaker 1: Yeah, you just talking shit the whole time. So I

thought about that too. But yeah, I've had a lot

of different ideas. I've had a lot of different ideas.

Shout out king Chunch. The next one comes from number

one historian Fan Oh.

Speaker 8: I just want to say you guys gonna turn Nate's

volume up, dude, struggle every single episode he's on there,

you guys are like having to ask him to say

what he said again, discord turn turn that turn my

boyd Nate up.

Speaker 3: He's he's got some funny ship to say he does.

Speaker 1: That's the problem. It sucks. So for backstory, Chris, back

to backs. No, So the thing with data is we

know he's quiet. We have tried everything in our power

to fix it. It's other than just straight up buying him

a new microphone. But I also think he didn't want

me to buy him a new microphone because you wanted

to figure out how to make that one work. The

other option that we have is we can record it

in a separate software and then up his volume because

it it would come out as a separate track because

where we record it, we're all one track. But the

issue is when you do that, you lose a lot

of sound quality, Like it sounds a lot. It's through Riverside,

which I use for the APEX, which is fine.

Speaker 3: We could, I mean we can try it one week

and should try or just like do a test. It'll

test recording.

Speaker 1: I've done it before and It's like, you can definitely

hear a difference, but it just depends on if people

actually end up carrying that.

Speaker 3: Yeah, is it worth it? If you can hear him better?

Speaker 1: It bothers me personally just because I'm like, well, even

then we would still have to ask him what he's

saying because we still wouldn't be able to hear it.

Speaker 3: Oh, it would still be the same.

Speaker 1: Yeah, Okay, they would be able to hear him better,

but we would still struggle. So I think it would

just straight up have to be giving getting him a

min That's what it would fix.

Speaker 3: If like we got him like something to just keep

it like on his face.

Speaker 1: Well, the problem how we do the problem is we

went into the software, download the software, got all the

software figured out, he maxed out his software like volume

on his software, max it out on his computer, and

then he turned up his game. But if you guys

notice sometimes and I cut out most of them, if

he if he laughs or does something, it'll like peak

it peak and it sounds really bad. And I try

to cut those out. Sometimes I can't and I have

to leave them in. But even if you were to

keep that mic, the peak thing would be a problem yeah.

So I think at the end of the day, I

have Troy and Dallen's Mike here that I could just

send to him.

Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, well.

Speaker 1: I wouldn't have to buy anything. I just sent ship,

but that would be that.

Speaker 2: Yeah.

Speaker 1: I know, I hear your complaint because we've been trying

to figure it out.

Speaker 3: It's been an ongoing. It's been an ongoing.

Speaker 1: It's been an issue. It's been an issue. We're trying

to figure it out. Okay, next one comes from Tommy.

Speaker 2: What's up?

Speaker 1: Boys?

Speaker 9: Tommy here, longtime listener of the apex to podcast, relatively

new to the Grandma banner. But I do have a

question before I do, I do want hell little story

because you guys actually might remember me perspective. I am

six two and forty pounds, relatively slim, and I was

the guy that was standing front and center on Sunday

during NOLA with Mike, the head security guy, for for

like twenty to thirty minutes. We were just talking and

you guys were right there. You guys were right to

my left. Why you actually gave me like an O

seven salute. I've been in the military for seventeen years

and I gave you an actual salute like an idiot.

Speaker 7: I actually just give me to bring it. Anyway, it

was awesome.

Speaker 2: I don't remember much Sunday.

Speaker 9: The reason I'm calling is because I have been listening

to the epectus of podcast for a while now, and

before New Orleans Tournament, Wyatt has said, hey, if you

see me Jumba or Donnie, come up and say hello,

say hi, take a picture of it with us. So

during NOLA, all I wanted to do was meet whyt

meet you know, the boys, and I did. I saw

Jumba and jay Hawk one day before I got there,

and I took a picture of him like, hey, what's up? Boys?

And I was like, where's why? And he's not coming

till tomorrow, motherfucker. So what would happened was during in between,

like the matches, I would go to my hotel, have

a few drinks and then come back with a water

bottle of whiskey.

Speaker 7: That was him.

Speaker 2: Oh I do guy?

Speaker 4: Remember yeah? Because they took a pull from his water bottle.

Speaker 3: You did.

Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, there's a lot of whiskey.

Speaker 9: My whiskey with my coke. And so I asked, h

I saw a Jayhawk, Oh, Jonathan, as you guys call

him uh in the lobby and I said, hey, man,

where's where's Why is he here? Yeah, I'll bring him

to you, so like he brought me to you, Whyatt

And dude, you spent like twenty minutes just talking to

me about everything and just had a conversation with me

like an old person. It was so cool. Be good boys.

What are you like it or not? You're a huge

part of a lot of people's lives, A huge part.

I come you two hours to work every day and

all I do is like listen to gm B and

you know the ape of the podcasts and it's just

you guys are such a big part of everyone's last

Like we think we know you, like we do know

you and you not know us, but you know we

love you and we we uh you're You're a huge

part of our lives. So anyway, I came in and

I had my drink with me and I saw why

one time again. I think it was on Saturday, and

I ran into the boys and I don't know who

it was cause I didn't know about grabbing a banner

until why you told me about it during during a conversation,

and it was a taller one, whoever the taller one.

I gave you my drink? You did, I gave you

it and pointing at the straw, and you're like, hey,

and I have you know, can I take you from

the strange bro put your lips around that straw?

Speaker 2: And you did, and you did?

Speaker 9: You drink a lot. I wouldn't be surprised you got

a little drunk from it.

Speaker 3: But I was already. It makes you feel.

Speaker 4: It was cool seeing you guys.

Speaker 9: Hopefully we get to I get to see you guys

gonna in Vegas.

Speaker 4: But I do have a question.

Speaker 9: My question is are you okay with us coming up

to you all individually or whatever as a group and

saying hello and having that conversation. And if not, it's okay.

Speaker 8: Uh.

Speaker 9: I hate where people are no they leaders alone? Is fine,

Like if you want to be left alone, that's fine,

if you just let us know, like, let us know

if you're okay with us coming up to you and

saying hello, and and you know, you are such a

big part of our lives. And I hope you guys

have a great time, and I hope to see you

guys and maybe have a drink with you guys in

New Orleans, but uh, boys, be good, stay awesome and

hopefully seeing Vegas.

Speaker 2: Peace boys, bro.

Speaker 1: Yeah dude, last time, please do come up, please say

what's good? Last time I had actually I remember I

didn't know if you guys would remember him, but I

remembered him. I remember why I met him like eight times. Yeah,

I walked around with him a few times. But we

have a picture of all of us with him, probably

somewhere he might have he might have one with me

because I don't think like he said he didn't know

GMB yet. But yeah, like I've always been just walk

up and say what's up. And last time when we

were in Nola, when all the boys were there, we

walked around with like an entire crew of listeners who

we just.

Speaker 2: Hung out with.

Speaker 1: So yeah, like that that's never bothered us at all.

That's always been something we enjoy doing. And like, I mean,

like that's part of the reason we keep going because

it's like we know, like people like to listen and

do whatever, and we have the ability to do it,

so we do it. But yeah, I have no problem

at all with that, And yeah, just chop it up.

Speaker 2: And I mean Vegas.

Speaker 3: Too much about pro apex because I don't know jack shit, but.

Speaker 2: I will say this, Vegas we are.

Speaker 1: It's gonna be probably crazier than Nola because in Nola

they didn't have alcohol in the building.

Speaker 2: I hope they do this time, and then the even.

Speaker 1: If they don't, there's so many options. Yeah, Vegas is

gonna be different because after the events. So I think

this might be the one event where I'm more excited

for the actual outside of the events, after after the afters.

I'm Vegas is my city, bro. I love that place.

Me and my dad go all the time. Me and

my fiance go all the time. We're gonna get married there,

Like that is our city. So we love going there.

We love being there. Yeah, that's gonna be. That's gonna

be our If.

Speaker 3: You see me in the casino at like four am,

don't say hi to me. I'm probably pissed. He won't remember,

I won't remember, and I'm probably losing money.

Speaker 1: Yeah, no, hit me again on percent. We love when

people come up, but we love when people come up.

It's gonna be It's gonna be fun. So yeah, we uh.

I think we all have an airbnb together. But for

a while, we were all gonna be in the Uh yeah,

we were gonna be in the hotels just walking around.

That's my favorite part about Vegas is you could just

walk around forever. Yeah, and it's like not a big deal,

like all night all day, Like you can.

Speaker 4: Just all night.

Speaker 3: You can just think the weather is like colder, so

I can actually enjoy it.

Speaker 1: Hockey season is going to be fresh starting, that's true,

So that's gonna be big. Playoff Baseball should be happening,

so you have that.

Speaker 3: Is that time?

Speaker 1: Huh, well it might be early October. Let's see, like

when I.

Speaker 4: Think it's gonna be close to the end, isn't.

Speaker 3: It damn near the World Series?

Speaker 2: I think?

Speaker 7: Right?

Speaker 3: Yeah, I think the World Series was pretty close to

Halloween last year.

Speaker 1: World Series actually starts Game one on the twenty third,

So if we get a good World Series sweep, we

actually if there's a Game seven of the World Series,

it would be the last day of land.

Speaker 4: That setting up Buns the winner.

Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm just gonna go back for La right now.

Speaker 2: You might as well off.

Speaker 7: As well.

Speaker 3: Dodgers are winning.

Speaker 2: Yeah, but yeah, no, we love that ship. That's that's

always crazy. That's always great.

Speaker 4: Come talk to us.

Speaker 1: It's it's some of the best memories too, because it's

like you just have these moments where you never thought

you'd have those moments.

Speaker 4: I still remember l A. I don't remember who it was,

but I remember we were standing there and we're waiting

in line to get beer.

Speaker 5: Oh yeah, and that guy walks in and goes what

and he goes Kyle Chris.

Speaker 2: Yeah.

Speaker 3: I was like, I was like, I wasn't expecting that.

Speaker 4: We looked at us. I was like, oh, Ship, you're.

Speaker 3: In nowhere, dude.

Speaker 1: Top top favorite memory was the noon dog we fucking

wear in l a final day of the event.

Speaker 2: It's over, We're all just walking around. We go to

chip Chipotle.

Speaker 1: I'm in line, yeah, and me and Chris the whole

day had been just throwing up the nines for Cloud

nine and I'm making my burrito and I turn around

for a second because there was like were grabbing something

and I turn on behind me and I see Noonan

and he just like throws up nines and like I

just met him, maybe like a couple of days before,

and I just like laughed.

Speaker 2: I was like, that's crazy.

Speaker 1: And then the other one was when we walked into

the bar in Nola, and I walk in and I

just heard somebody whisper is that why? And it was

Chris Goes Yes, And they had a poster of Zach

Maser with hair oh yeah, And then they asked me

to sign their hat. I've never like at that point,

I hadn't signed anything before, so like sign their hat

and it was pretty sick. So like those things you

never forget, Like, those are those are badass memories? Bro,

that one too, That one was crazy. I forgot about

that one til you mentioned it because didn't he make

his girl take a picture?

Speaker 7: Ye?

Speaker 4: Get a picture.

Speaker 1: These are the people I make you listen to on record, dude,

those are the best.

Speaker 8: I know.

Speaker 4: There's a lot of girlfriends out there that listen to

our voice.

Speaker 3: Like I hate these guys.

Speaker 1: Yeah, these motherfucker they actually probably like Brian the most somehow. Yeah.

Probably remember the one girl who sens in a voicemail

a while back, she was like, why does everybody hate

this guy? I think grade you just don't get it,

You don't get you don't understand. Yeah, I know, those

are those are sick ass memories, I think too. Like

with podcasts, I don't think you're ever gonna get the

like virality at least for us of like a like

a Jay or Jumper right, like they're gonna get hundreds

of thousand views on videos in But with pods it's

nice because you do get that personality. And I mean

Jay and jem I have mentioned it. They're like sometimes

when like we see the community you guys have, it's

like kind of insane. But it's because we put so

much of our personality out there that when people walk up, it's,

like he said, it's like they already know us. So

it's a little bit easier to to, you know, say

what's up and do whatever. And it makes it like

really nice because there isn't that like barrier of I mean,

he kind of has it right where he's like nervous

to be like I don't want to bother you guys.

But for us, it's like there's no barrier because the

second we're like, dude, just come chill with us, it's

like he already knows who we are.

Speaker 3: Yeah, Like it was like getting to know us.

Speaker 5: It was like when we met Joe and Nola, like

he was just like he's like, you don't know me,

but I know you guys.

Speaker 1: Joe was also a. That's another really good back Joe

going to.

Speaker 3: The bar with the Fells and Fella the Buffalo Bill's

Bar in New Orleans.

Speaker 1: I felt the crazy part about that was I felt

like such a dumb ass. I was like, bro, am

I really going to do this? Because I asked the boys,

I was like, should I just go on Discord and

everyone be like, hey, we're at this bar if you

want to come. And I felt like an idiot when

I did it, because I was like, dude, nobody's gonna

pull up, and people like nobody, and fucking Joe pulls up,

Kevin pulls up, like those guys pull up and they

had already. Joe hadn't sent voicemails yet, but Kevin had,

I believe, And then uh, after.

Speaker 2: That, Joe is what's boys?

Speaker 1: Thirty second voicemail every time with a very good question

to ask.

Speaker 3: Question, straight to the point.

Speaker 1: So yeah, no, it's it's always good and I'm hoping

that this is the one where we get to say

what's up to the most people. I feel like Vegas

is a little bit easier for.

Speaker 2: People to come to.

Speaker 1: It's like a destination, right, like not that Nola isn't

It's just more of a I.

Speaker 4: Think Nola is like only for Mardi Gras, you know

what I mean?

Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it has like its historic places. Well yeah,

you know. But other than that, I.

Speaker 3: Feel like you're more inclined to go to Vegas unless

you're a history buff in there for the No. No,

you're going there to give drunk.

Speaker 4: And had some beads thrown at you.

Speaker 1: That's I was That night at Bourbontry two was an

elite one.

Speaker 2: There was no like fans there, listeners or anyway.

Speaker 4: Who wasn't That flipped me off?

Speaker 2: It was design.

Speaker 4: Design.

Speaker 1: I was like, hey, man, I don't know if you home,

and he's like, shut the fuck up.

Speaker 2: It's like me off.

Speaker 4: He goes, hey, fuck you two, and then I give

him a hug.

Speaker 1: Design was cool. I talked to Vaine, who's now part

of n I P there you remember player Chris not

a fantas layer.

Speaker 4: Who'd you bama sig off of?

Speaker 3: Finally got my finally got my sig from a pro.

Speaker 2: That's big, that's big time.

Speaker 3: The highlight of my career.

Speaker 6: Bro.

Speaker 1: Good memories, good memories, all right, Well, ladies and gents,

that should just about do it for all the voicemails

this week, and that should just about do it for

the show.

the road, headed up about to have some fun with

rich If you follow us on the gram, you'll see

Speaker 2: It'll be for Richie's Richie's Bachelor parties, so we'll probably just.

Speaker 1: Be Hanging'll be locked in on him having a rand.

Speaker 3: Old him all kinds of fucked up.

Speaker 1: Yeah, just having place I've never been to, so I'm

really excited to that's right.

Speaker 2: That.

Speaker 1: That was one thing that we wanted to do potentially,

was see if we can find Tahoe test you record.

Imagine if Tahoe tests, he pulls up made recording pod.

Speaker 4: We're on the speedboat trying now runner.

Speaker 1: Uh yeah, but if you guys want more content once again,
