Speaker 1: Listen first of all, before we get into today's show,

Speaker 1: I must have say thank you very much for my

Speaker 1: oldest daughter, Ruby was in Sydney for a couple of days.

Speaker 1: She was over there for a friend's birthday party. And

Speaker 1: because she met you Pete last week for the first time,

Speaker 1: she said to me, do you mind if I missus

Speaker 1: Pete might want to meet up for a coffee And

Speaker 1: I was say you no, no, cool here, love that.

Speaker 1: And so Pete yesterday met Ruby. My daughter Ruby also

Speaker 1: massal we going. He's offered to drive me to the airport,

Speaker 1: and I didn't want to be rude and saying.

Speaker 3: No, am I am? I going to be okay? And

Speaker 3: I was like, in the Pee Patrol, I've been in

Speaker 3: that car.

Speaker 4: It's and you've driven with him, and.

Speaker 3: I made a vow.

Speaker 1: You guys went on what was meant to be a

Speaker 1: return trip and then suddenly he.

Speaker 4: Got beaked three times by three separate drivers in a

Speaker 4: fifteen minute trip. That's all I'm going to say.

Speaker 1: So you picked my daughter up Ruby yesterday, and then

Speaker 1: somehow you almost ran into Kyle.

Speaker 5: Oh that's right, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 6: So I took her to the Grounds of Alexandria, which is,

Speaker 6: you know, an incredible place in Sydney, very Instagrammable and

Speaker 6: all that sort of stuff, and I spotted to the

Speaker 6: right of me this gigantic fairy bread fountain. Almost I

Speaker 6: was like, oh, look at all this fairy bread Ruby

Speaker 6: and I put my head up in the wall, and

Speaker 6: next minute was John Ibraham, last King of the Cross

Speaker 6: guy right underwalled figure of Sydney.

Speaker 3: His wife is literally going, come in, come in.

Speaker 1: And this is the guy who's babysitting my daughter, which

Speaker 1: is twenty two.

Speaker 6: But yeah, yeah, absolutely, So they were like, oh, coming

Speaker 6: to Elvis's fourth birthday, and then we John Ibram was

Speaker 6: there and Sarah and we just yeah, we just missed Kyle.

Speaker 5: So Ruby was and they were trying to give us cake,

Speaker 5: and Ruby's going.

Speaker 1: I would have been an eyewitness an accident, these two

Speaker 1: powerful alphas of media coming face to face by a

Speaker 1: fairy bread fountain.

Speaker 6: We just missed Kyle, and they were offering us some

Speaker 6: birthday cake, and Ruby saying look, I'm gluting free.

Speaker 3: That was so lovely about it. I was like, Okay,

Speaker 3: we'll probably move on from here. Anyway.

Speaker 6: It was a whole We kind of were only together

Speaker 6: for probably an hour and a half, but I feel

Speaker 6: like the adventure that we had was just fantastic. We

Speaker 6: went to a barbie exhibits while we're at the grounds

Speaker 6: as well.

Speaker 3: Not not a barbecue, by the way, I think was

Speaker 3: no missunderstood.

Speaker 1: I thought Peter taking to a barbecue expoken. It was

Speaker 1: obviously just getting a free she's a six burner.

Speaker 3: It just was not.

Speaker 4: She's twenty two, she's six years old.

Speaker 3: It gets better. She then calls me from the airport and.

Speaker 1: I knew what time my flight was, and obviously I'm

Speaker 1: training to get there a bit of a decent time.

Speaker 1: She says, please drop me at the airport domestic flight

Speaker 1: two and a half hours over.

Speaker 3: Oh wow, I said, why has he done that? Because, oh,

Speaker 3: because he wants to get to the Footba at a

Speaker 3: decent time.

Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, sorry Ruby, Yeah, oh wow, she's.

Speaker 1: Hours should mate can get there and have a long there.

Speaker 6: Well, and that's not exactly what I did, for sure,

Speaker 6: But I'm also to my point, I didn't want.

Speaker 3: To have Supernanny Pete done.

Speaker 1: I don't know moans about it. It's easy being a parent.

Speaker 1: For ninety two minutes.

Speaker 3: I got this. I got this for sure.

Speaker 5: But yeah, yeah, your daughter is so lovely, you were

Speaker 5: so grateful.

Speaker 1: I didn't want Yeah, and I says you were speeding

Speaker 1: off from the curve sid that drop off.

Speaker 3: See you.

Speaker 2: The Christian O'Connell show podcast yesterday.

Speaker 1: I had to remind my family it was Father's Day

Speaker 1: in two weeks time and then gently insist that if

Speaker 1: we are going to eat out, we need to book

Speaker 1: it otherwise there be no availability. It is top three

Speaker 1: underwhelming things in the world one number one, Father's Day,

Speaker 1: number two, Father's Day number three, Mad Monday.

Speaker 3: It's like, oh, I can.

Speaker 1: Kind of went it's a yearnly thing. No one says

Speaker 1: that about Mother's Day. Oh bloody of that thing.

Speaker 4: I thought it was like the Olympics every four Yeah,

Speaker 4: it feels like it rio.

Speaker 3: Have you booked someone for off, Yes, of.

Speaker 7: Course I have about a month ago. One of his

Speaker 7: favorite places. He's going to the Langham.

Speaker 1: Oh come on, you got a permanent open table there.

Speaker 8: I am paying, Thank you very get out of it.

Speaker 3: We know, we know what those dollars are plugs on

Speaker 3: the show. Never paid a single but there the show

Speaker 3: has coming. Oh yeah, that's the tax man.

Speaker 1: Yeah, and can you up another couple of cakes on there?

Speaker 3: I did do some gardening while I was here. As

Speaker 3: well my independent business. Just running through the books. He's

Speaker 3: going to the Langage. Yes, King Patsy, what is your

Speaker 3: three word weekend?

Speaker 7: I've got a new love affair. I at the weekend.

Speaker 7: We've got a big dog, lots and lots of Here

Speaker 7: he's got a double coat.

Speaker 1: And this is your husband, Chris against he has got

Speaker 1: a beautiful coat.

Speaker 3: Actually, I don't know what you said, but it's got

Speaker 3: real sheen to it.

Speaker 7: I don't know what it is about new household appliances

Speaker 7: that excite you so much when you sort of I

Speaker 7: don't know, maybe thirty five plus forty plus.

Speaker 1: Oh, it is a clear sign you're an adult. Is

Speaker 1: the joy you get from a great one? What you got?

Speaker 7: Never been so excited. I got a shark pet vacuum

Speaker 7: and upright vacuum.

Speaker 5: So I have.

Speaker 3: Gone ferocious, aren't they?

Speaker 7: Ah, this thing will just about suck up the floorboards.

Speaker 7: It's absolutely sensational.

Speaker 8: So I've gone back.

Speaker 7: To the cord, the plugging cord from the stick. So

Speaker 7: I figure the stick is good for through the week,

Speaker 7: for little jobs. But when you really need a good

Speaker 7: I was gonna say, suck of the carpet of the floor.

Speaker 4: Use the Shark.

Speaker 8: It is fantastic. Should have seen the gunk that came

Speaker 8: out of our floor.

Speaker 1: And if you've got the shark where they give you

Speaker 1: this little canister you screw into and it's scented.

Speaker 8: Yeah, oh, mine's not scented.

Speaker 3: I went for the upgrade. Oh I didn't know there

Speaker 3: was one canister. You put it in there and it secretes.

Speaker 4: Like essentral oil.

Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah it does. Yeah, I love it. Obviously. I

Speaker 3: felt for that. You know, I love my sense through. Yes,

Speaker 3: it's lovely.

Speaker 1: So as you're hoovering, it's pumping out a fresh fragrance.

Speaker 5: Oh, I love that.

Speaker 4: I sort of.

Speaker 7: I did it Saturday and I didn't need to do

Speaker 7: it again yesterday. But I thought, I'm just going to

Speaker 7: see just for ships and giggles, to see how much

Speaker 7: the crap comes out of it.

Speaker 8: Whole nother canister.

Speaker 3: It feeled.

Speaker 8: It's insane.

Speaker 1: Oh no, no, that is another signing on adult, which

Speaker 1: is the joy you get emptying the vacuum?

Speaker 3: Yes, oh my god, why is that pleasing? It's the pleasure.

Speaker 3: It's like having a poop. You always feel better.

Speaker 1: You feel better, lighter, physically, lighter, spiritually, you always feel better.

Speaker 1: I think it's a secondary passive poop when you emptied

Speaker 1: out that vacuum and it's.

Speaker 3: Really like a load in there. Oh brilliant.

Speaker 1: You see it drop in the bin, which is then

Speaker 1: makeshift toilet the U bend.

Speaker 3: I guess have I said too much?

Speaker 2: It's early Christian Connell Show podcast Christian.

Speaker 1: My three word we can too much coffee, Modern Christian.

Speaker 1: My three word weekend is bass guitar lessons a music nerve,

Speaker 1: but can't play a note. So my muso son sat

Speaker 1: me down yesterday and gave him my first bass guitar lesson.

Speaker 3: Cool.

Speaker 1: I'm clumsy, but managed to pluck out the base of

Speaker 1: Tolknheads Psycho Killer, which is like two courts in it.

Speaker 1: Quite unremarkable, but it was fun.

Speaker 3: Hey, hey, hey, that's the first step. Well, don, this

Speaker 3: is brilliant. Rio. What's your three word weekend?

Speaker 4: So there's the International Film Festival going on at the

Speaker 4: moment and my mate on Saturday, Carters, I've got a

Speaker 4: couple of spare tickets. Do you want to come? I'm

Speaker 4: like sure, exciting assuming that we're going to go to

Speaker 4: like a screening of a movie because it's the film festival.

Speaker 3: Yeah, we get there.

Speaker 4: We rock up and at the door there's a guy

Speaker 4: in a tuxedo and those little earpieces and he's ticking

Speaker 4: names off at the door, and I'm like, this is

Speaker 4: pretty like pretty official, pretty formal for just to go

Speaker 4: see a movie. We walk up the stairs, walk up

Speaker 4: the stairs and into this ballroom and then there's this

Speaker 4: media wall and there's as like Australia.

Speaker 3: At the Poor Patrol.

Speaker 4: It was the Final Night Awards, which is this like

Speaker 4: a gala, like a gala, like a black tie event.

Speaker 4: And I'm wearing literally like literally beef for beat what

Speaker 4: I'm wearing right now. I'm wearing a quarter zip a

Speaker 4: T shirt, jeans and white sneakers. And my partner Wills

Speaker 4: just in a hoodie.

Speaker 1: But you know, these days you can't you can't tell

Speaker 1: but what someone's wearing what their.

Speaker 3: Power wealth is.

Speaker 4: Yes, maybe someone thought, look at.

Speaker 1: These nerds like Zuckerbuck, we're shower slippers everywhere at Mumbling

Speaker 1: one of the richest men in the world.

Speaker 4: I thought, immediately, you could be the owner of the

Speaker 4: whole thing.

Speaker 3: That's true, actually, but it's too powerful. Do you have

Speaker 3: to worry about dress attire exactly?

Speaker 4: And it reminded me of when you.

Speaker 3: Were dug same thing that film festival.

Speaker 1: It was the premiere of what a pot of time

Speaker 1: in Hollywood and they said, hey everyone, and we've only

Speaker 1: been living here I think a couple is. So we

Speaker 1: didn't quite know about how Australians their idea of tress

Speaker 1: up is putting tracky decks to go to Bunnings. And

Speaker 1: they said, hey, you know what, everyone's going to be

Speaker 1: dressing up in seventies outfits. So my wife and I

Speaker 1: really went to town turned up in seventies outfits. No one

Speaker 1: else was. And not just that, no one said a

Speaker 1: thing to me about my outfit. That was the worst thing, Like, wait,

Speaker 1: do you think I dressed.

Speaker 4: Like this this normal Friday night?

Speaker 1: This is chilly, some creepy dealer it.

Speaker 3: So yeah, I've been there and know what it's like. Pete,

Speaker 3: what's your three word weekend?

Speaker 1: Well?

Speaker 6: Mine was fell asleep and I'm realizing that's only two

Speaker 6: words now I think about it.

Speaker 3: As I said, you got a special pass for everything, Pete. Okay,

Speaker 3: thank you so much.

Speaker 6: Okay, so I was getting a lot of fomo last

Speaker 6: week because you were talking about Odyssey and Rio you

Speaker 6: had seen it, and I just you guys were chatting

Speaker 6: and I just wanted to be part of.

Speaker 3: That film of brilliant.

Speaker 6: Yeah, so I went to Hosts Broadway in Sydney and

Speaker 6: I decided to go and see Odyssey for myself. I

Speaker 6: didn't get to see it on Imax, but what I

Speaker 6: did see was a pretty good movie. Apart from the

Speaker 6: fact that I.

Speaker 3: Was pretty good.

Speaker 6: Well, I fell asleep, So I fell asleep for it

Speaker 6: was probably over and a hour.

Speaker 1: It's not been funny, right, It's a relentless, loud, thundering,

Speaker 1: aggressive movie. Yeah. I was really just slice enough. Hold on,

Speaker 1: Look who is going for nap time during that movie?

Speaker 3: Do you know what?

Speaker 6: I was a bit tired going in. I thought, no, no,

Speaker 6: just relax, enjoy the movie. And yeah, there was some

Speaker 6: loud bangs and noises and all that sort of stuff.

Speaker 3: The word sorry, this is my official review. By the way,

Speaker 3: bangs and noises, Yeah, that's how I discribed.

Speaker 1: Honestly, it was. Look, the part that I saw was

Speaker 1: very good. Did you see him just went Shutty's thrower

Speaker 1: on the beach?

Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right, it's all that. They were having a

Speaker 6: bit of a chin wag. And then I saw the

Speaker 6: witch scene that was good. I thought that was very

Speaker 6: powerful by the way, the pulling of the heads and

Speaker 6: the bits.

Speaker 3: And bob, Oh my god. Yeah, that's insane. I won't

Speaker 3: and he made it quite far into it. Yeah no, absolutely,

Speaker 3: But did you ever see him go home? No show

Speaker 3: about the ending? That was the ending? Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 3: So I'm going to go back and see it at

Speaker 3: some stages. Well, there's the second half climate. Just go

Speaker 3: for the second half discount, yes, sadly. Then I'll give

Speaker 3: you an official review. Okay, fair enough.

Speaker 4: Yes, you're not like a lot, isn't it.

Speaker 3: That's a nightmare, that is.

Speaker 4: And depots are so strange, like where the hell am I?

Speaker 4: They had like some industrial space.

Speaker 1: It was very very I remember once many years ago,

Speaker 1: was a big boxing fight. It was Costa Zoo who's

Speaker 1: fighting in England and matched against Ricky Hatton.

Speaker 3: So it's a big title fight.

Speaker 1: Because of the broadcast needing to go to America, it

Speaker 1: wouldn't UK time, it wasn't going to starting at one

Speaker 1: thirty am on a Sunday morning, So obviously everyone went

Speaker 1: out on the Saturday night and I remember just what

Speaker 1: they were.

Speaker 3: Doing, ready to rumble buffers there. I remember starting to

Speaker 3: fall to sleep.

Speaker 1: Ringside was like, it's twenty thousand, crazy man screaming, how

Speaker 1: are you getting from sleep time now? And you know

Speaker 1: when sleep takes you for a nap, it's very hard.

Speaker 1: It's a song and the sirens. It's taking it down

Speaker 1: with put wax in my ears. That, by the way,

Speaker 1: was the fight where the row in front of me

Speaker 1: Russell Crowe was Do you remember when Russell got in

Speaker 1: trouble throwing the phone in the hotel room?

Speaker 3: Yeah, it was at that fight.

Speaker 4: You were there.

Speaker 1: Gordon Ramsey and Russell Crowe was sat in front of me,

Speaker 1: two big dudes.

Speaker 4: You were there for history.

Speaker 1: And I remember years later talking to Gordon Ramsey and

Speaker 1: sipping about it. I said, I was at the cost

Speaker 1: of Zoo fight. I sat behind you and dumb Russell

Speaker 1: and you know those big boxing fights. They announced the

Speaker 1: celebrities who were here and in attendance tonight and Gordon

Speaker 1: Ramsey and all of a sudden, the mank's up there.

Speaker 1: They don't care for Gordon Ramsey and I think.

Speaker 3: Russell Crowe said, are you a really shit chef or something?

Speaker 1: I hate you one of the world's most beloved chefs,

Speaker 1: Gordon Ramsey.

Speaker 3: He hate you.

Speaker 2: Christian Connell Show podcast.

Speaker 3: All right, the nap map is here. Where have you

Speaker 3: nodded off? Call me?

Speaker 1: Thirteen fifty five twenty two, Christian. When my husband was

Speaker 1: a child, he played hide and seek and he fell

Speaker 1: asleep on the top of his wardrobe. His mum and

Speaker 1: dad couldn't find him anywhere. They called the police to

Speaker 1: look for him.

Speaker 3: This must have been a.

Speaker 1: Different tay when the police would have come and done that.

Speaker 1: You call them now and this is a tobaccon fire.

Speaker 1: They don't care. They're not going to find.

Speaker 3: Some kid you're missing through a game of fight and seek. Christian.

Speaker 1: This is I don't know how someone did this. I

Speaker 1: fell asleep at day ac DC concern.

Speaker 3: What is that Australia.

Speaker 1: What's louder than the movie The Odyssey ac DC. Christian

Speaker 1: I napped at the funeral. Well, you gotta be careful.

Speaker 1: Mistake you for somebody else. You know, suddenly you're getting

Speaker 1: thrown in the ground as well.

Speaker 3: Hasn't made Dave. He's a shift worker. He does at

Speaker 3: breakfast show day dick am up, Christian.

Speaker 1: I also nodded off at the movies while watching a

Speaker 1: less Spider Man movie. Okay, it was an afternoon show

Speaker 1: and Christian, you know, I just couldn't keep my little

Speaker 1: eyes open. Listen, Kelly, Christian, I fall asleep in the

Speaker 1: barber the barber's chair every time I get a haircut.

Speaker 1: Christian took a nap and on the train ended up

Speaker 1: in New South Wales and trouble is I live in Ringwood, Victoria.

Speaker 3: To the long way home that one.

Speaker 1: Christian I nodded off and the taxi woke up to

Speaker 1: a very polite police officer shaking me. The taxi driver

Speaker 1: didn't know what to do. You don't call triple zero.

Speaker 1: I was someone to sleep in the back of my taxi.

Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's all part of our service. Wake up, drunks.

Speaker 4: I don't see and waking up dress.

Speaker 3: Hugo, good morning, good morning, I'm good, Hugo.

Speaker 12: Welcome you now. I love your show, guys.

Speaker 3: Thanks you.

Speaker 1: You go in the morning, Oh blessure, Thank you very much.

Speaker 1: You go now, Hugo, where have you nodded off?

Speaker 12: This is probably close to twenty years ago. I nodded

Speaker 12: off in the dentist chair getting a root canal.

Speaker 3: No way, come on, it's terrifying, the fair the noise.

Speaker 12: Yeah, I was fell asleep and actually thought I'd going unconscious.

Speaker 12: They were all pink and running around the room and

Speaker 12: swepping me around.

Speaker 7: The year.

Speaker 3: Working you like a speedball.

Speaker 1: Just about Hugo, great story, Thank you very much calling in.

Speaker 3: Have a good day.

Speaker 12: Yeah you two guys, Thank you.

Speaker 3: Bye.

Speaker 1: Another fun efforts tomorrow. When were you slapped about? It

Speaker 1: was a different time. Maybe she'd do that as a

Speaker 1: week's theme of shows. It was a different time.

Speaker 3: Kate, good morning, Good morning, Christian.

Speaker 10: How are you.

Speaker 3: I'm good, Kate, A lovely weekend, thanks for calling us.

Speaker 11: Welcome lovely to here you boy.

Speaker 13: We've been tuning in since day one. Absolutely love you guys.

Speaker 3: Thank you very much. Kate. Now, Kate, where have you

Speaker 3: nodded off?

Speaker 11: So my husband and I went to a Counting Crows

Speaker 11: concert at the Palais and killed her and I reckon,

Speaker 11: we might.

Speaker 10: Have heard five minutes of it. We are absolutely.

Speaker 3: Young, are incredible.

Speaker 13: Oh look, I don't even think I heard mister Jones

Speaker 13: and me, and every time that either of us lifted

Speaker 13: our heads to wake up, our horrified friends were looking

Speaker 13: at us and just couldn't stay await. You know, the

Speaker 13: bleary eyes in my head, tongue out, probably drooling.

Speaker 3: Not a good look now, I'm telling me. Let's be honest. Now,

Speaker 3: how do you had a cover of drinks beforehand?

Speaker 11: No?

Speaker 1: But it was a big week, week longer, that's the one.

Speaker 13: Everybody else was starting and wanted to go home, and

Speaker 13: we're like no.

Speaker 1: We're oh yeah, second, it's got clubbing shots exactly.

Speaker 3: Kate, thank you very much and calling good on you guys.

Speaker 12: Thanks very much.

Speaker 2: Christian O'Connell show Go On podcast.

Speaker 1: We're giving you a chance to win a five golden

Speaker 1: tickets to the exclusive ice house experience at Sydney's iconic

Speaker 1: Fleet Steps at Missus McCoy's point. Today's winning song is

Speaker 1: electric Blue. When you hear it Call thirteen double five

Speaker 1: twenty two and try and get on the guest list.

Speaker 1: Right now, the nap map is here. We're trying to

Speaker 1: work out where in Australia. If you've nodded off fallen asleep.

Speaker 2: It's oh so quiet.

Speaker 1: Not when you're getting our tattoo, isn't. It's the most

Speaker 1: common thing that I'm seeing, really, people having tattoos and

Speaker 1: falling asleep. And there's someone who's had tattoos. It's noisy.

Speaker 3: There's someone's need. Dosn't your arm and it hurts?

Speaker 5: Isn'tful?

Speaker 1: You? Not?

Speaker 3: Really? The youant little burds.

Speaker 1: No, not if you're super tough like me, probably one

Speaker 1: of the toughest guys they ever do a radio show. Christian,

Speaker 1: my name is cow and didn't full of see my

Speaker 1: daughter did Queenstown. You've been there with your kids into

Speaker 1: the dark river jetboat ride. You're being thrown around constantly,

Speaker 1: soaked in gallons of water.

Speaker 3: I don't understand that one.

Speaker 1: That's incredible, Christian, I fell asleep getting a tattoo. This

Speaker 1: is on Hayden when he was twenty one. He was

Speaker 1: getting a decent sized tattoo of a dragon. Well, if

Speaker 1: you're going to get a dragon, get a decent size

Speaker 1: on the right side of his back. Dozed off for

Speaker 1: about twenty minutes. Wo Frank, another one fella sleep. We're

Speaker 1: getting a chast tattoo. Tattoo has had to wake me

Speaker 1: out to make sure I hadn't passed out. Christian, I

Speaker 1: fell asleep, but in Toronto and a basketball match between

Speaker 1: Utah Jazz and Toronto Raptors, all that stopped starting.

Speaker 3: I can't stay awake.

Speaker 1: I guess you want to be being the American football

Speaker 1: In September, Christian down him with my life, was pregnant

Speaker 1: with our first daughters, who went for the ultrasound check

Speaker 1: her out. And I took my wife to the ultrasun

Speaker 1: appointment and they were doing the answer sound.

Speaker 3: Suddenly the next thing I know is I just hear my.

Speaker 1: Own zash there After everything your wife's gonna do make

Speaker 1: a person, let post them out.

Speaker 3: You're nodding off at the ultra serd. That's the early days, Darren,

Speaker 3: you're a lightweight. Christian.

Speaker 1: I fell asleep at my sister's wedding. Oh oh, that

Speaker 1: Hams could fall out over something like that. Christian, I

Speaker 1: fell asleep having an MRI. There're so noisy in those things.

Speaker 3: Let's take one last called Wayne. Good morning, Wayne, Good morning.

Speaker 10: Push in the game. Would you believe I fell asleep

Speaker 10: while standing up in the train?

Speaker 1: No, quite incredible skills to do that. How so, Wayne,

Speaker 1: you're just obviously tired. The rhythm of it's all bobbing along.

Speaker 10: And I was on my way home from work. I

Speaker 10: had my hand through the well and no days the

Speaker 10: old strap, ye, And all of a sudden, my kind

Speaker 10: of legs gave out as I dropped off and and

Speaker 10: I swung basically into the lap of the ladies.

Speaker 1: Oh, come on, Wayne, come on, Benny. No, Wayne, it's

Speaker 1: not okay. Oh the strap gave way. Sorry, madam, standing up?

Speaker 10: Come on, Wayne, I was more or less I was

Speaker 10: just hanging from my arm from the strap, kind of

Speaker 10: dangling train.

Speaker 1: Wayne, very funny. Thank you for showing your story mate.

Speaker 1: Have a good day.

Speaker 2: The Christian O'Connell Show.

Speaker 1: Podcast, David, I can't share your story on air for

Speaker 1: his reasons, but I told her about it. It is

Speaker 1: some story. It is wild shocking. Yes, and we thought

Speaker 1: the d Angels some passengers on the night bus. Anyway,

Speaker 1: I've said too much.

Speaker 3: Now.

Speaker 1: Over the last week we've been celebrating the proper way

Speaker 1: to behave, celebrating properness with a Yorkshire tea.

Speaker 3: Try a proper brew for yourself.

Speaker 1: You can get a Yorkshire tea at Cole's and Woolworth's

Speaker 1: back again today. It's a thousand dollars whatever makes their

Speaker 1: opinion the best and most strongest and most creative way.

Speaker 1: Today's something which is really gets people in a lot

Speaker 1: of trouble these days.

Speaker 3: The proper way to behave at a concert.

Speaker 1: You know, last week we were talking about sort of

Speaker 1: flying and the overhead locker and all the right etiquette

Speaker 1: and when to recline where not if it's short hauld domestic,

Speaker 1: are you reclining or not? I think it's just as

Speaker 1: fraud now, and there are a million different ways to

Speaker 1: carve it up. How we're meant to behave and not

Speaker 1: behave at a concert. Yeah, and I think we should

Speaker 1: break this down. Is two things that should get you

Speaker 1: thrown out immediately.

Speaker 3: Like it.

Speaker 1: I was recently in a concert a couple of months ago

Speaker 1: and someone facetimed the entire thing for some pin headed

Speaker 1: friend or relative.

Speaker 4: Oh no, that's insane.

Speaker 1: This is so selfish, it's distracting. And then she keets

Speaker 1: swinging it around her own moonface.

Speaker 4: Game and what are they getting just like low blurry,

Speaker 4: can't hear it proper?

Speaker 1: And also about any constant you go to, No matter

Speaker 1: how great our phones are, when it's dark in there,

Speaker 1: the photos and videos are terrible terrible. You think you're

Speaker 1: getting amazing footage, you know, and then you show someone else.

Speaker 3: Actually, have you.

Speaker 4: Ever gone back and watched a video from a concert

Speaker 4: on terrible? Never? And it looks it doesn't work, does it?

Speaker 4: It doesn't capture, it looks, it looks bad, It looks terrible.

Speaker 3: And also you're always saying, oh, the seats are better

Speaker 3: than that of the.

Speaker 1: Night Patsy, what do you think about standing or not standing? Oh?

Speaker 7: The love God and I are very divided. In fact,

Speaker 7: we almost had a row about this last night. I

Speaker 7: think if you're at a concert, that gives you license

Speaker 7: to stand up, to dance, to clap, as long as

Speaker 7: you're within your space. You're at a concert, for heavy

Speaker 7: and sake, a rock concert.

Speaker 1: We're not in China. You've got to sit down or

Speaker 1: stuff like that. But I don't want to block somebody

Speaker 1: else's behind us.

Speaker 7: Thank it for that reason, he said, But what about

Speaker 7: the people behind you? And I said, yeah, but you

Speaker 7: know what, you're at a concert.

Speaker 4: You're at a concert.

Speaker 5: What do you expect.

Speaker 7: You're not at a symphony or at the ballet. You

Speaker 7: are at a rock concert.

Speaker 1: I start a moss, that's what I'm banned. Get a

Speaker 1: mospit gun on the front. There, guys just tear it

Speaker 1: up on the nutcracker.

Speaker 7: I definitely stand up at a concert if you don't

Speaker 7: like it too bad.

Speaker 8: I think it gives you license. At a rock contract.

Speaker 1: Adams, this is very enjoyable.

Speaker 8: Or some people give like a golf clap or just

Speaker 8: sit there like that. Rather, it's like you're at a

Speaker 8: rock get up.

Speaker 5: And enjoy it.

Speaker 4: I've seen you at a mosh's well, Patsy in those,

Speaker 4: she's just a lethal.

Speaker 1: You just tear it up at a Ramstone. That's at

Speaker 1: the sound check.

Speaker 7: I'll tell you what I don't like though. When we

Speaker 7: were to Harry Styles, there's.

Speaker 3: A big list, so I don't know where we're going

Speaker 3: to go.

Speaker 8: No, there's one more.

Speaker 7: There were a couple of ladies sitting right next to

Speaker 7: us who I reckon went for a drink like around

Speaker 7: at the bar every single song, and so we had

Speaker 7: to get up.

Speaker 4: Then we had to get down with you.

Speaker 1: There needs to be some kind of ruling hit patch

Speaker 1: about getting up and to it or a bar like.

Speaker 8: And when you've got to go, you've got to go.

Speaker 7: But not as often, please ladies, because everyone had to

Speaker 7: stand up and then everyone had to sit down and

Speaker 7: then you know, move their jackets in their bags which

Speaker 7: were under their feet and stuff.

Speaker 3: It was just a shame at the footy as well.

Speaker 4: Yes, get a full tray of beers.

Speaker 3: Yeah, if you want to.

Speaker 1: Double part, but please can we all just sit down

Speaker 1: and watch it? It's only twenty five minutes. Watch some

Speaker 1: of you you kids.

Speaker 3: Should have gone before you left.

Speaker 1: Met your dad here, Riya, what do you think is

Speaker 1: the right on the wrong way to behave?

Speaker 4: I cannot stand people that talk through concerts.

Speaker 3: That you're right, it's not a place to catch up.

Speaker 4: No, it's not. And I never i ever like speak

Speaker 4: up for myself or anything like that in public, but

Speaker 4: I will tell people off. At Coachella, at Tapman Parlor,

Speaker 4: people were yapping.

Speaker 3: Through it looked at.

Speaker 4: I said, can you please stop talking? And they did

Speaker 4: not take it well. But I'm sorry. If you're at

Speaker 4: a concert, if you want.

Speaker 3: To catch up, that's really selfish and rude as well.

Speaker 1: Thank you, just go and if you want to catch up,

Speaker 1: but don't do it when there's and we're all here

Speaker 1: to watch the concert, not eavesdrop you guys.

Speaker 3: And another thing who says to mate, listen, we haven't

Speaker 3: seen each other? Yes, is it?

Speaker 1: Why don't we go and catch up at Coachella there's

Speaker 1: someone doing a set in the background.

Speaker 4: I'd also like to see a rule put in tall

Speaker 4: people at the back. I know, top people. I don't

Speaker 4: want to just see your hand.

Speaker 1: I want to see and some toollies make it worse

Speaker 1: where they put a hat on as well. That's another

Speaker 1: six inches mate, Come on, get to the back. They

Speaker 1: should have the tool section at the back. There especially

Speaker 1: no top hats. If you're already tell.

Speaker 3: Come on slash catch the back man.

Speaker 2: The Christian O'Connell show podcast.

Speaker 1: What is the probable way to behave at a concept? Well,

Speaker 1: thanks to Yorkshire Tea were celebrating properness. One thousand dollars

Speaker 1: going to be given away in the next couple of minutes. Christian,

Speaker 1: I fell asleep at the Bolshoy Ballet. I'm not a

Speaker 1: ballet person, Christian, that's wrong, Don Christian if you want

Speaker 1: to stand at a concert, go to a mosh pit. Hey, ever,

Speaker 1: cons a mosh pit.

Speaker 3: Generals general ga are for those that want to sit.

Speaker 1: No, it's not thousands and thousands of people. There is music,

Speaker 1: it's Entertainment's made me enjoyed. You made it express yourself.

Speaker 1: Sat there like we're in a communist statement. Stay home, miserable,

Speaker 1: Git Christian, you've got a standard of rock concert. Hence

Speaker 1: you the word hence, by the way, Richard, hence eighteen

Speaker 1: months ago, age fifty nine, front row, Green Day. I

Speaker 1: went right to the front row so I could stand

Speaker 1: without being told to sit down by someone boring or

Speaker 1: standing for over eight hours. Hey, you're getting your fifties

Speaker 1: standing for a couple of hours. You should be winning

Speaker 1: some kind of award or something for the government. But

Speaker 1: it was worth it, that's from Richard. I went to Christian.

Speaker 1: I went to a Maroon five concert once. There was

Speaker 1: a present for my husband's birthday. We had the best seats.

Speaker 3: I'm in a bed for trying to calm.

Speaker 1: That's why Adam and living impression in front of us.

Speaker 1: There was this space at the top of the stairwell.

Speaker 1: This woman was just standing there. I waited light for

Speaker 1: one whole song and I went up to her and

Speaker 1: I said, how are you going to be just standing there?

Speaker 3: She said, I swear it's my friend.

Speaker 1: I said, I don't think so. And pay all this

Speaker 1: money to look at the back of your head? Did

Speaker 1: she move straight away? My husband was like, good on

Speaker 1: your babe. The whole concert was like, she's gonna throw

Speaker 1: something in the back.

Speaker 3: She didn't.

Speaker 1: When did it become so contentious gonna see live music?

Speaker 1: It didn't used to be like this, did it. And

Speaker 1: if you look at concert footage back in the day,

Speaker 1: from ten to twenty years ago, people have stood summer,

Speaker 1: sat down.

Speaker 3: It was all okay.

Speaker 1: They were not fights breaking out or people worried about

Speaker 1: being throwing things by the back of their head. Christian

Speaker 1: Alicia here from Sydney. My concert nogo is people in

Speaker 1: a mos pit filming horizontally. You're taking it too much,

Speaker 1: viewing real estate right from the people behind you. Now

Speaker 1: we're all watching your phone screen. Please hands together emoji.

Speaker 1: Well used there, Alicia, Please film vertically. That is a

Speaker 1: great original take. I love that money. Come on in Hello, Hello.

Speaker 14: Descending order. That's how believe concert should be seated. The

Speaker 14: giraffe at the back and the garden names at the front.

Speaker 2: Like me, I will I will.

Speaker 14: Wear a double jacket. I will double jacket it up

Speaker 14: if I need to, so I can use one of

Speaker 14: the booster seat.

Speaker 3: It makes you take a.

Speaker 1: Big like puffer jacket, a double jacket to use it

Speaker 1: as a boost to seat genius.

Speaker 14: Oh yes, and it includes a football and conseert. I

Speaker 14: went to an Angels contert at the palais which is

Speaker 14: all sit down, which was the worst thing. So yeah,

Speaker 14: we down and watch that. So I need a little

Speaker 14: boost to seat for that too, and that.

Speaker 1: Just these as well. People use the aisles now as

Speaker 1: a dancing sort of space.

Speaker 14: My line in sight.

Speaker 1: Let's go to Matthew here. Thanks morning Matthew, Good morning,

Speaker 1: Good morning team.

Speaker 3: There are we going good?

Speaker 12: I had to go hey, PSA for anyone attending any

Speaker 12: any concert anywhere.

Speaker 10: If you decide to leave the room or the arena

Speaker 10: or wherever the performance is happening, that's fine, but you

Speaker 10: don't get to come back to your seat until the

Speaker 10: song is finished.

Speaker 4: Like you need to get up, go to.

Speaker 10: The toilet, go and grab a drink.

Speaker 1: Boy, it's fine, but you're not interrupting my viewing and

Speaker 1: making me getting up and down in the middle of

Speaker 1: a song because you want to come back in great hod.

Speaker 3: Youre right, that should be the ruling.

Speaker 1: Yeah, you can go to the toilet heath and you

Speaker 1: can't go back in the middle of the song.

Speaker 2: Yeah.

Speaker 1: Wait the other thing as well, when it really annoys me,

Speaker 1: right when they yell. I remember seeing Springsteen a couple

Speaker 1: of years ago. Some drunken eedy behind me yelled from

Speaker 1: about an hour and a half.

Speaker 3: To Born to Run. He's going to do Born to Run.

Speaker 1: He's not going to forget and the only way is

Speaker 1: to remember because some bozo from Southern Line and he

Speaker 1: can he can even hear.

Speaker 3: You up there.

Speaker 1: There's twenty five thousand of us. He's going to don't

Speaker 1: worry aboute He's got four hours to go.

Speaker 3: He's going to do all your favorite songs.

Speaker 1: He's probably going to do Bond to Run, Holding to Run.

Speaker 1: All right, Matthew, I'm going to make you today's winner.

Speaker 1: I think that's a great ruling. You just picked up

Speaker 1: one thousand.

Speaker 3: Thank you so much. Oh thanks for Yorkshire t Thank

Speaker 3: you very much, Matthew.

Speaker 2: Christian Connell Show Podcast.

Speaker 1: We have really stirred something up about this whole standing

Speaker 1: or sitting down at concerts.

Speaker 3: I almost feel bad.

Speaker 1: In a way, but people are sort of still arguing

Speaker 1: with themselves minutes.

Speaker 3: They're sort of involving me in argument.

Speaker 1: I'm not part of it, but I think somebody said

Speaker 1: this is that someone said, no, well they want to

Speaker 1: see a concert recently, and someone's wearing a really big hat.

Speaker 1: I think you should have to pay more. If you

Speaker 1: want to bring a big hand, then you have to

Speaker 1: have a big hat tax. That's the fairest work. Oh

Speaker 1: you should buy the people behind you to drinks. Yes,

Speaker 1: I like this, that's fair enough. Okay, all right, it's

Speaker 1: get into today's mishard lyrics.

Speaker 4: It's just another misshard Man day.

Speaker 3: Christian O'Connell's Miss hurd Lyrics.

Speaker 1: Good morning, Welcome to the Christian o'connells Show on Gold.

Speaker 1: a Hall of Famer from Lucas Grahams Britain song seven

Speaker 1: She's entered into a local competition at Farmer's Market. All

Speaker 1: my anti chokes. Yes, for the rest of this year.

Speaker 1: Big Van, why don't count of Murray? Tony Mundock Snead O'Connor.

Speaker 1: Nothing compares to you. I can eat my dinner in

Speaker 1: a fancy restaurant, or is it? I can eat my

Speaker 1: dinner in a fancy red sarong.

Speaker 3: Absolutely brilliant.

Speaker 1: Abby's got Dave Dobbins slice of Heaven. She's a slice

Speaker 1: of heaven, or she's a size eleven he not in

Speaker 1: this Dnat's buddy that is not called.

Speaker 3: And what of that? What of that? David?

Speaker 1: No way not to be in size eleven? My god,

Speaker 1: no saying that size eleven in Hall of Favor? Captured

Speaker 1: there for half a second, right, Stacey, Stacy Scot, I've

Speaker 1: been listening to my loco sing it back. Yeah, there's

Speaker 1: a blast past. Who's playing that? Let me guess Nova

Speaker 1: sing it back to me? Or Shane Shane get back

Speaker 1: to me? Shane ghosted her, brilliant Stacey in Hall of Favor,

Speaker 1: Kylie O'Brien, slim Dion, it's all coming back to me now.

Speaker 1: But you were history with the slamming of the door,

Speaker 1: or but were you history when the slime ran off

Speaker 1: the door?

Speaker 3: What you histream? I'm here and slime? Ah mm hmm.

Speaker 3: All right, James has got this one. I want you

Speaker 3: to put your surname on this, mate.

Speaker 1: James has got this one. He doesn't want to, he

Speaker 1: doesn't want to get the trouble. Betty Ocean carbying queen.

Speaker 1: What a banger from the eighties she dashed by me

Speaker 1: in painted on jeans.

Speaker 3: Jeans.

Speaker 1: I just want to set some context up here, just

Speaker 1: to sort of explain what maybe he's hit it's hearing.

Speaker 1: I'm I'm thinking that maybe there's no stumbling here that

Speaker 1: actually Betty's just coming out of the butcher, okay, and

Speaker 1: he's got maybe some nice pork chops or solo or

Speaker 1: rabbi or is it she touched my meat and she

Speaker 1: blamed it on James.

Speaker 3: Jean again, Penny Ocean. I mean, he loves going to

Speaker 3: local butcher.

Speaker 1: He supports local farmers, but he loves a pork chop

Speaker 1: on a Monday, and obviously he's coming out and she's

Speaker 1: touched it and she's blamed it on James Jeans.

Speaker 3: We have no choice, James, all right.

Speaker 1: Thank you very much to everyone who sends us their

Speaker 1: miss her lyrics every single day. As always, the email

Speaker 1: they're filming and chatting to listeners. One of the listeners

Speaker 1: goes up to young Amby and says, excuse me, you're

Speaker 1: one of the Chuckle Sisters and then I went they went, oh,

Speaker 1: they look so disappointed. The next signing, I do, I'm

Speaker 1: bringing the Chuckle Sisters to double the crowd. Yes, what

Speaker 1: a warm one for me. But stay for the Chuckle Sisters.

Speaker 1: They can have a table next to mine.

Speaker 4: Let should release the.

Speaker 5: Book some match girls, how not run around?

Speaker 1: Now? Okay, now there's some pete good luck. This Sunday,

Speaker 1: you're doing the Sydney Mouth and you and an incredible

Speaker 1: forty thousand other runners, big run and I know you've

Speaker 1: done it before.

Speaker 3: It must be incredible to run over the Harbor Bridge.

Speaker 3: It really is.

Speaker 6: It's because it starts in North Sydney and you go

Speaker 6: over the bridge. That's one of the first they say.

Speaker 6: It's the most iconic thing to really do if you're

Speaker 6: on a marathon. Because last year there was representatives I

Speaker 6: guess from one hundred and fifty countries and this is

Speaker 6: a lot of people flying in and they're all starting

Speaker 6: to arrive this week to run across the Sydney Harbor.

Speaker 3: Bridge and you finish at the Opera House to fish

Speaker 3: at the Opera House.

Speaker 6: So I think the hardest part is in the sort

Speaker 6: of Randwick area is probably where it's the most like,

Speaker 6: there's not that stimulation and you really really start to struggle.

Speaker 3: But I've got droops bumps just thinking.

Speaker 1: Oh, way to throw shade of all our new listeners

Speaker 1: in Ramwick. Sorry, there's enough visious stimulation here.

Speaker 3: I'm sorry. Actually that's exact que man.

Speaker 1: Sorry, I mean this is a Fellas seat during the

Speaker 1: odysseeat What do you want from old Ramwick?

Speaker 3: I'm sorry peep show.

Speaker 4: Also, have they done a distance check because Sydney Opera

Speaker 4: Sydney Harbor Bridge to Opera House. I don't reckon. That's

Speaker 4: forty two k's a couple.

Speaker 6: We go along along to a lot of areas, more

Speaker 6: centennial park bits and pieces.

Speaker 3: Shure you have just taken e entered a five K

Speaker 3: fund run.

Speaker 5: No, I'm not doing the same.

Speaker 3: The Kenyons can.

Speaker 6: I just say though, because there's people flying in from

Speaker 6: all over the country, they're all starting to arrive. And

Speaker 6: welcome to all the international visitors that are arriving into

Speaker 6: this country for this weekend.

Speaker 3: I mean this is the biggest you like the Mayor

Speaker 3: of Sydney.

Speaker 1: Sorry, welcome international signatories straight to God. I am your

Speaker 1: unofficial mayor. Sit you down in turn Peach, a forty

Speaker 1: two year old intern.

Speaker 3: You know right, You're right, I'm going to remember. It's

Speaker 3: not my moment, but it is everyone's moment on the way.

Speaker 3: I think it's incredible what you're doing, mate, And so

Speaker 3: what is this suite. You've obviously done all your big training. Yep, yep.

Speaker 6: So a couple of little shakeout, really light jogs this week.

Speaker 6: I sent a message to a friend last night, I said,

Speaker 6: what do I do?

Speaker 3: What do I do? Just with the food, lots of water.

Speaker 6: I'm seeing a physio today for a bit of a

Speaker 6: rub down and make sure I'm.

Speaker 3: That's every Monday, isn't it that.

Speaker 5: Well, Yeah, yep, that's that's true.

Speaker 3: That's Broadway place you go to cash only. Yeah, Robins,

Speaker 3: I'm doing yep.

Speaker 6: I'm doing a sound bath on Saturday, and I'm at

Speaker 6: this sound bath is going to put the fire in

Speaker 6: my stomach, which is.

Speaker 1: Hopefully there's no toilet so the first five k the marathon.

Speaker 6: Literally, but can I just have a moment here, just

Speaker 6: for the organizers of this, someone has had a bit

Speaker 6: of an intern peat moment themselves in the metal making department,

Speaker 6: so we all get a metal at the end of

Speaker 6: the race and on it. They have put the most

Speaker 6: incredible design on the back of it, which has got

Speaker 6: the Opera House, it's got Centennial Park, the Harbor Brook

Speaker 6: from Born.

Speaker 3: They're nothing there.

Speaker 6: However, Alliant Stadium is there and it's a very iconic

Speaker 6: stadium here in Sydney. Right However, someone has made a

Speaker 6: bit of a booboo and they actually used the Alliant

Speaker 6: Stadium from Munich in Germany.

Speaker 3: Not to see kidding me? Someone so on every single medal,

Speaker 3: forty thousand of them. Wait, someone, you reckon they've used AI.

Speaker 6: Honestly, someone is having a meeting today or a very

Speaker 6: stern email. I've got actual I've got to read the

Speaker 6: last little bit of statement because the Cydney Marathon had

Speaker 6: to release a statement because they just couldn't hide it.

Speaker 3: In the end, you may.

Speaker 6: Also be where there's a little bit of an international

Speaker 6: flavor that has found its way onto the back of

Speaker 6: finisher's medal with an incorrect deception at the stadium.

Speaker 3: We're not going to run from it.

Speaker 6: It was an unfortunate area through certain blah blahlah blah blah,

Speaker 6: mostly in good humor, but honestly, I just thought.

Speaker 3: Oh no, that incredible, So.

Speaker 5: I guess maybe it's going to be like I just thought.

Speaker 3: You're going to get Yes, the Opera House said, what's

Speaker 3: that there? Oh that's in Munich. So the international people

Speaker 3: you were just welcoming earlier, that's.

Speaker 4: The Brandon Bembridge.

Speaker 5: It's one of those. Yeah, I guess, you know, like

Speaker 5: a collector's edition.

Speaker 3: Oh no, definitely know for sure.

Speaker 1: The collect edition of the guy got fired. Who ever

Speaker 1: did it clean it on the way out.

Speaker 3: Mate.

Speaker 1: Now, Pete, here's something i'd like to do, right, Okay,

Speaker 1: So you got forty two k's and I'm guessing you know,

Speaker 1: because the marathon is an incredible feat of enjoyance that

Speaker 1: you've done before you do it again, and fair play

Speaker 1: for you and everyone else who's going to be doing

Speaker 1: it as well, and the Melbourne Mouth and as well

Speaker 1: in October as well.

Speaker 3: It's a remarkable thing to do.

Speaker 1: But I'm guessing like it at various moments during it,

Speaker 1: you know, physically and mentally it must be very hard

Speaker 1: to remind you stuff, why am I doing this? This

Speaker 1: is really hard? So if you're up for this, Pete,

Speaker 1: I thought for every single K. So you got forty

Speaker 1: two k's, you can be running. You dedicate every one

Speaker 1: of the ks to one of our listeners.

Speaker 3: Oh I love that.

Speaker 1: So every time you finish a K, we're going to

Speaker 1: have a microphone on you. You'll say the name of

Speaker 1: that listener. And so as you're going, you'll know when

Speaker 1: you get into like twenty eight or twenty nine cage,

Speaker 1: you'll know you're doing it from Judith in black Town

Speaker 1: or Terry and Craigieburn.

Speaker 3: Yeah, so personalize.

Speaker 5: It, Okay, I know, I'm absolute yeah for this.

Speaker 3: This is great.

Speaker 1: So what I'm thinking is because otherwise, how are you

Speaker 1: going to know all these names?

Speaker 3: Forty two names? You write them on the inside of

Speaker 3: your arm tattoo. I was just thinking that maybe I

Speaker 3: could do that. I'm not going to tattoo themously, no,

Speaker 3: but just ink them.

Speaker 4: But they'll get sweaty. Maybe we do have to do

Speaker 4: a tattoos. They'll run. He'll be sweaty in the heat

Speaker 4: doing forty two k Is he kidding?

Speaker 3: Oh gosh, yeah, you're right.

Speaker 4: Tattoo tattoo any one by now?

Speaker 3: Or a long sleeved T shirt with the Britain on.

Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I get I think a long sleeve T

Speaker 6: shirt and we can get them sort of printed on there.

Speaker 1: We can have various people along the route that hand

Speaker 1: you an a four piece of paper and kateboard.

Speaker 3: You love a clipboard? You love a clipboard? Do you

Speaker 3: love alp? But then the.

Speaker 1: Commentation and going now this is a guy with the clipboard.

Speaker 1: Man used to be shouting humans' names out every k.

Speaker 1: Oh God, all right, tomorrow morning we start giving the

Speaker 1: k's away. You can sponsor a k on Pete's Mouth

Speaker 1: and race this weekend.

Speaker 2: The Christian O'Connell show podcast Good Latch.

Speaker 1: Everyone who's running the city mouth on this weekend and

Speaker 1: all their family and friends are lining the route.

Speaker 3: Two hundred thousand people.

Speaker 1: Expected to line the route, although accord to Pete thet

Speaker 1: this year, for some reason, there's two k. It's a

Speaker 1: cost of crisis, you know. I can't afford to have

Speaker 1: the heart of the full mouth and issue and just

Speaker 1: do a quick lap over the bridge and hit the showers.

Speaker 1: Guys have a dodgy medal. Christian, what about a bend

Speaker 1: sticker stuck on the front and back. He's a he's

Speaker 1: a running billboard for several hours show.

Speaker 3: It sounds really up for that. It should be pushing

Speaker 3: a bin promoting the show. You know what, You're right,

Speaker 3: You're right, I will. You have done that for your

Speaker 3: old show. You're right, all right, I'll do it. I'll

Speaker 3: do it. Well, yeah we will.

Speaker 1: Christian get Pete a lanyard with a plastic card pocket

Speaker 1: holder with the names on it. If they're written upside down,

Speaker 1: but just so lucky and good of the names are

Speaker 1: written upside down, so he holds it up.

Speaker 3: But I'm just wondered about it. If you're going to start

Speaker 3: running into peoper and that's no, that's quite smart. I've

Speaker 3: got forty two names.

Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, unless you have your phone on you are

Speaker 1: you've actually your phone on it. I'll just call you

Speaker 1: every cage to mind you who this one is dedicated

Speaker 1: to for the shout out.

Speaker 6: You know what, maybe we have the ultimate listener because

Speaker 6: I'm gonna be wearing an Apple Watch. That could and

Speaker 6: I give them my number and they could text because

Speaker 6: you can track my runnel on the way on the

Speaker 6: Sydney Marathon.

Speaker 3: App. I'm great. I was going to ask.

Speaker 1: I want people to do that because I'm sure there'll

Speaker 1: be people that want to cheer you along the way

Speaker 1: as well.

Speaker 3: So maybe, just maybe, and I'll be.

Speaker 1: Arriving just as you're finishing on flow All flying into

Speaker 1: Sydney this weekend.

Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'm happy to buy you.

Speaker 1: I'm guessing I'm guessing you're going to want a calp

Speaker 1: heavy dinner afterwards.

Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I've booked into the Lord Roberts Hotel in Darlinghurst.

Speaker 6: I've got booked a big table there so everyone can free.

Speaker 6: Oh you know this is a public invite right now.

Speaker 6: I guess we're going to get.

Speaker 3: On the beers optimistic a big table. Who's it for, like,

Speaker 3: just anyone that wants to come right.
