Speaker 1: On Tuesday Show, we asked you how was your day yesterday?
Speaker 1: How did you start the week? How was your Monday?
Speaker 1: Evan says, Monday toughest day of the week. Normally we
Speaker 1: get it down to three words. I want to expand
Speaker 1: it now, so we're going to try something different. The
Speaker 1: way that the Internet of the way the world works
Speaker 1: now is ratings. Everything's rated. Everything's rated and reviewed. You
Speaker 1: don't set foot in a restaurant or order a single
Speaker 1: takeaway without I always do that.
Speaker 2: Now, it's amazing.
Speaker 1: There was a time not that long ago in our
Speaker 1: lives where you just took a chance.
Speaker 3: Yeah, you made a decision to just had an average meal.
Speaker 1: Yes, no one to complain to, and you got on
Speaker 1: with your night and day and we're all fine. The
Speaker 1: world turned kept on turning. Now you know, any take
Speaker 1: it takes minutes.
Speaker 3: Even parks, local parks and get a rating.
Speaker 4: Public research, don't we it's forensic analysis.
Speaker 2: Too much information.
Speaker 1: There's a guy I follow one at Instagram who rates
Speaker 1: park benches, around the world. He just found his first
Speaker 1: st ever of five out of five. It was amazing.
Speaker 1: It was actually pretty emotional. Anyway, I want you to
Speaker 1: rate out of five your Monday Monday out of five,
Speaker 1: and I will accept halfs Maybe it was a two
Speaker 1: and a half. Maybe I hope not that you had
Speaker 1: one and a half star Monday. And also then a
Speaker 1: couple of lines to review your Monday.
Speaker 2: So I've written mine. It's two out of five.
Speaker 1: Guys, it's a two star Monday. Underground car park at
Speaker 1: the shopping center. She says, five minutes. I turned the
Speaker 1: car engine off that much. That's how much I believe her.
Speaker 1: An hour later, my wife comes that came out with
Speaker 1: a laundry basket and a candle. Nobody has ever popped
Speaker 1: into Kmart for five five minutes, Nobody for me once,
Speaker 1: Sarah for me for twenty eight years.
Speaker 2: Why did I fall for this?
Speaker 3: You're ad wait in the.
Speaker 2: Car, Chris.
Speaker 1: You just wait in the car, no phone signal, no
Speaker 1: phone signal, It's stuck in an underground wall car park
Speaker 1: for it was over an hour. And I tell you what,
Speaker 1: You'll have too much time to question all the choices
Speaker 1: that led you to this. Moment I might start a
Speaker 1: podcast series.
Speaker 3: Stuck in a car, you know, it's just me.
Speaker 2: And then the guest arrives.
Speaker 1: They get in my car and I interview there we
Speaker 1: will both break down together in a darkened situation with
Speaker 1: no phone signal under a kart.
Speaker 5: I hope she cracked the window for you, like you
Speaker 5: do when you leave you in your car.
Speaker 1: Don't dad's in hot cars, decent.
Speaker 3: Water on the floor.
Speaker 2: There needs to be some of RSPCA for dads.
Speaker 1: I saw families going in, coming out, going in and
Speaker 1: coming out.
Speaker 3: Five minutes.
Speaker 2: I tried to call her, no answer, no phone service.
Speaker 1: I reckon she'd worked out where the exact black spot
Speaker 1: was that she's an woman. I kept texting you, okay,
Speaker 1: the only person that okay with me breaking down there rapidly.
Speaker 2: How long is someone came on?
Speaker 1: I'll tell you what they will never but is five minutes?
Speaker 1: Did I fall for the five minutes line? No?
Speaker 2: Five minutes?
Speaker 1: I was the same give with myself when she came back,
Speaker 1: she went, so it took a bit longer.
Speaker 2: I weren't no well played, wow played? The only four
Speaker 2: here is me? Wowye?
Speaker 1: Still falling for that two star Monday for me? At
Speaker 1: the end of the day as well.
Speaker 3: That's right. At least it's out of the way, Nay
Speaker 3: can have a five star Tuesday.
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you're right, You're right, You're all right, Rio
Speaker 1: out of five? How was your Monday yesterday?
Speaker 5: Mine really is a five And I'm still buzzing today.
Speaker 5: After sixteen long years, sixteen years of pain and ridicule,
Speaker 5: I have won my fantasy football league. Oh wow, I've
Speaker 5: always been the butt of the joke in this group chat.
Speaker 5: I've had the rudest, meanest nickname assigned to me in
Speaker 5: that group chat for so long, but no more.
Speaker 2: And wow, it's actually kind of the cham chat. This
Speaker 2: is incredible.
Speaker 1: It's as your big giant, oversized trow know I need one.
Speaker 3: It's actually I was thinking about it.
Speaker 5: It's actually going to change the trajectory of my life
Speaker 5: because in this group chat, which I talk in every day,
Speaker 5: I always get a horrible nickname. There's always some joke
Speaker 5: at my expense. But now for the rest of my days,
Speaker 5: now that I've won.
Speaker 1: You know, are you saying that I thinking about We've
Speaker 1: replaced the sort of school system with group chat. Yes,
Speaker 1: it's a stage and bullying that goes on in there
Speaker 1: isn't there?
Speaker 5: Yes? Yes, And if you're at the bottom of the rung,
Speaker 5: you dream one day just climbing to.
Speaker 2: Be in one of the big lads. Yes, you know,
Speaker 2: the senior students of their own common room.
Speaker 3: Yes, I've got my prefector in five.
Speaker 2: Yeah, and now.
Speaker 5: I'll never be the same again. So maybe it's a
Speaker 5: five star Monday. And who knows?
Speaker 2: What? Did you have a whacky name for you team?
Speaker 3: Okay, I couldn't possibly say it on air?
Speaker 2: Oh what's that root?
Speaker 3: Yeh?
Speaker 1: Come on, I expect it better from you.
Speaker 2: You're kidding me.
Speaker 1: I really wasn't joking when I said replaced the school
Speaker 1: system and they got to name that route.
Speaker 2: There's two rooms for Australian Radio.
Speaker 5: It's a name a year seventeenage boy would give me.
Speaker 1: It's not in the current climate. No, no, they're out
Speaker 1: of five for you, sir. Wow, Okay, rate and review
Speaker 1: your day yesterday, your Monday? How did you start the week?
Speaker 1: Out of five? And then give us a few lines. Patsy,
Speaker 1: what some Monday did you have?
Speaker 2: Mane?
Speaker 4: Not very good? Point five for me?
Speaker 1: Oh no, no, I thought that was on the police drinking.
Speaker 6: No, no, excuse me. Point five at school pickup. Audrey
Speaker 6: was not impressed. My fifteen year old had a science excursion.
Speaker 6: Yes today, And you know, kids these days, you can't
Speaker 6: just give them any old excursion like you could for
Speaker 6: us in the seventies and eighties.
Speaker 4: We were happy to just go for a bus.
Speaker 2: Just getting on a bus, yeah, going anywhere. It was
Speaker 2: a big deal. Just excited, like a day out of prison.
Speaker 6: It really was like one pair up and it's like, right,
Speaker 6: something good is going to happen, not for this day
Speaker 6: and age. So they had a science experiment.
Speaker 3: Get this.
Speaker 6: They drove round trip three hours in the school bus.
Speaker 6: They went to a location, this wetlands location.
Speaker 4: I said, well, what did you do?
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we went to wetlands and UK. It wasn't
Speaker 1: just wetlands. It was rain, it was in the winds.
Speaker 1: It was a wet wabush. It was more like bleaklands.
Speaker 6: Well that's what it was like yesterday. And I said, well,
Speaker 6: what was the experiment you had to do. I'm sure
Speaker 6: you learnt something. She said, Mum, we got a hula hoop,
Speaker 6: shucked it on the ground. We were there for twenty minutes.
Speaker 6: We had to report back.
Speaker 4: What was in the hoop h.
Speaker 3: Come on, it's.
Speaker 6: Grass and wildflowers, she said. Then we got back on
Speaker 6: the bus and went back to school and we were there.
Speaker 4: In time for lunch. To have lunch at school, she said,
Speaker 4: it sucked enormously.
Speaker 3: That is disappointing.
Speaker 2: That's that's that's no stars.
Speaker 4: I know, I know she was not impressed. We heard
Speaker 4: about it all evening.
Speaker 3: Schools love wetlands and Mangrove went to.
Speaker 1: So every schoolcsion as well as a beach erosion every
Speaker 1: school year is like we're looking at another beach erosion.
Speaker 1: Show be doing something that I pick up a shovel,
Speaker 1: those crappy little clipboards.
Speaker 2: And stuff that out you.
Speaker 1: Actually we had to always go and quiz the locals,
Speaker 1: and the only people that would speach you was the
Speaker 1: old people or the local pedophiles.
Speaker 6: But all the amazing things to do in this country,
Speaker 6: and they go to a wetland for twenty.
Speaker 4: Minutes, what are we paying these fees.
Speaker 1: Margaret bea Come on, schools, we're onto you.
Speaker 2: Switch it up. We're in the four K streaming world.
Speaker 2: They're going to look at that, and guys and they
Speaker 2: want to get back.
Speaker 1: On their phonels reels they're not Wetland Maxing.
Speaker 2: Pete Review, Peak Reting review.
Speaker 7: Or Okay, I love the way of doing this. By
Speaker 7: the way, I'm going to go with a three out
Speaker 7: of five. But I'm happy to be judged and pulled
Speaker 7: back down or up after I.
Speaker 2: Take it You're Monday, Well, we're not going to judge
Speaker 2: you all. I feel free, feel free.
Speaker 7: Indeed, I had a good bit of physio yesterday, obviously
Speaker 7: getting ready for the Sydney Marathon this weekend.
Speaker 2: However, a little bit too expensive.
Speaker 7: Do we think two hundred and twenty dollars is too
Speaker 7: much for a bit of how were you in there for?
Speaker 2: Though?
Speaker 7: Like fifty minutes or so, with a bit of console
Speaker 7: and a bit of upselling and a bit of let's
Speaker 7: do some.
Speaker 2: Post marathons, they are selling your general sir.
Speaker 5: You know what the most useless part of the physio
Speaker 5: is consult the massage that does nothing And just like
Speaker 5: I guess we've got twenty minutes.
Speaker 1: You have to do that sort of that skeleton and
Speaker 1: answer you the circle where does it hurt? And I
Speaker 1: just told you actually was in frontiness was here I
Speaker 1: need to draw on this? Man?
Speaker 2: Are you going to look at this?
Speaker 1: Man?
Speaker 2: You're going to I'll just find where that shoulder is. Luckily,
Speaker 2: this cruise cave.
Speaker 5: Drawing, I can never understand that they'll explain to you
Speaker 5: what's happening in your shoulder.
Speaker 3: So the joint is attached.
Speaker 5: To the fee.
Speaker 1: So if I'm hearing it right, and when we're running
Speaker 1: the clock down, go and get the oils. Let's go
Speaker 1: to work. That's what I've come here for. Yeah, absolutely,
Speaker 1: it's not chitch. I'm not paying you for that. The
Speaker 1: clock should start once you're on facedown on that really uncomfortable.
Speaker 2: Hold, absolutely, which is just for your face. What else
Speaker 2: would it be for? Don't write it. Don't write that
Speaker 2: was the upsetting.
Speaker 7: Obviously, I'm trying to eat healthy, so I had some
Speaker 7: good bit of steak, but the jury is out. The
Speaker 7: first time I did something pretty crazy as a qualified chef.
Speaker 7: I actually cooked my steak in the air fry, which
Speaker 7: I had never done. No, I know, I know it
Speaker 7: sounds so wrong. I have sent your fighter, but I
Speaker 7: do think it.
Speaker 1: Was fine.
Speaker 3: It was fine.
Speaker 2: Did you season it beforehand?
Speaker 1: Oh?
Speaker 7: Absolutely, yes, with some fresh green chilies as well.
Speaker 2: So I'm just trying to basically presentation. It's a five.
Speaker 2: The presentation it's great, you got green that it's nice. Yeah,
Speaker 2: that was all right, bit of broccoli.
Speaker 7: And then final bad part about the day was I
Speaker 7: got home early because I'm renting a pad in the
Speaker 7: city and I had a house inspection yesterday what I
Speaker 7: thought it was, but it's actually today, so I was
Speaker 7: waiting all afternoon with that is you make the bed
Speaker 7: a little bit better.
Speaker 2: But the work's all done.
Speaker 7: Everything well, well, now I now I've got to go
Speaker 7: back again early today and make sure I do have
Speaker 7: made the bed properly because I rushed out this morning.
Speaker 7: So look what I'm saying is it's just one of
Speaker 7: those things that when the house inspection happens, you just
Speaker 7: make that little bit of extra effort that you don't
Speaker 7: normally have to do on a day today.
Speaker 3: So I'm going with a three point five.
Speaker 2: All right, you've upgraded yourself now. Christian O'Connell shar Gone
Speaker 2: podcast still
