Speaker 1: What it is, what it dos, Zyberworld. It is your girl,
the one and only Ash Brown, and this is the
Ash set It show. Over twenty two hundred episodes since
twenty fourteen, seven hundred thousand streams globally. None of this
is possible without you, guys, So thank you so much
for the shares, the cares. It makes a huge difference.
Now for those of you that have been looking on
social media and you've seen my posts and you've seen
all the things that I'm posting and talking about. It
is spooky season, all right. It is time for the
spooks to come out. And I have gotten none other
than one of my favorite guests of all time for
my favorite attraction in Georgia. We've got Ben from Another
World with us today.
Speaker 2: Hey Ben, how are you doing?
Speaker 1: I am doing good, but I hear that you and
another World team. You guys are doing exceptional with this
thirtieth anniversary. Congratulations, Thank you so much.
Speaker 3: We're very excited for all the chaouts in Mayhem. We're
going to unleash this year.
Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, So that's what I want to get into about.
I want insight. I want some backstory about these amazing
haunts that people can expect.
Speaker 3: Well cool well this year. As you know, we always
have two attractions. The first one is called the Curse
of the Collector. The second one is called Beyond Oblivion
Legacy of Evils. But I will bring in a little
secret here, So the second show, the second show also
has a large outdoor component. The entire attraction has grown enormously,
so it's it's pretty crazy. So Curse of the Collector
that is what we you know, I'll.
Speaker 2: Call the main show, the Big Show.
Speaker 3: That one features our traditional icon.
Speaker 2: The Collector. The show's about him, and it's an interesting story.
He's been opening the nether World for eons with the.
Speaker 3: Monsters beyond but again kind of fed up.
Speaker 2: With these guys. You know, they're really they really aren't
treating them right. So he's sitting.
Speaker 3: There watching their invading armies come rushing in and the
humans are trying to blow up this big gateway to
the nether World that's been.
Speaker 2: There for a very long time.
Speaker 3: And some he sees walking by a version of himself
because the Collectors existed for millennia, and he's taken on
many forms, and he'll leave a body and go off
into the nether World. So he's had many different forms,
and we call these things husks.
Speaker 2: And something goes, wow, my husks are walking around. So
he collects all of his husks. So he's got you're
going to.
Speaker 3: See five or six or seven different collectors from different
time periods. There's a Roman collector, a Gyptian collector, a
medieval collector, a whole bunch of them, and so he
gathers them and.
Speaker 2: Decides, I'm going to turn against the nether World.
Speaker 3: So he's helping the humans to destroy the game to
the nether World because when that happens, he's the only
one who'll be able to over that gateway. So but
the show itself hacked packed with stuff.
Speaker 2: From old seasons.
Speaker 3: So we brought back the Gargoyles, we brought back the Gorgans,
we brought back the Halloween characters.
Speaker 2: From Halloween Nightmares. There's so much. There's stuff from last year.
Speaker 3: So we have the werewolves and the vampires and Franklinstonian Warriors.
Speaker 2: But the other thing we've brought back is.
Speaker 3: A taste, not a taste, a feast of old Norcross,
our old locations. We've brought back gags and scares from
Norcross that no one has seen in ten or twelve years.
We've got more of our giant biting puppets. We have
our Angel lift with an actor on it. We probably
have about thirteen stunts this year, and we have just
a bunch of crazy things, a lot of interesting things
with mirrors.
Speaker 2: But we also have to brand new scares you've never seen.
Speaker 3: Earthy Collector's really amazing. So the second show, once again,
we were getting into the Mangler last year, our egal
surgeon and he decided to experiment on all humanity. How's
he going to do this? He's creating new food and beverages.
The food is it's called nectar and ambrosia.
Speaker 2: So how is he doing this.
Speaker 3: He's gotten together the guy's from Man's Slaughterhouse and it's
an old theme from many years ago, and they are
grinding up the cryptids from Cryptied.
Speaker 2: Chaos and they're making this.
Speaker 3: This product food product, and they're infusing with the weird
chemicals from Necrotext the Zombie Rampage.
Speaker 2: Then the ambrosia.
Speaker 3: He's gotten the insect people together from the High the show.
Speaker 2: For many years ago in Norcross, so you have the
insects sections.
Speaker 3: So he's making all this stuff and you're going to
go through his lab, yes, and then you're going to
see crazy things. But when you go outside, you're in
the town of Harkness.
Speaker 2: And Harkness was a show that we did.
Speaker 3: It was all the way back in Gosh almost in
like our very very early years, and it features the
Harkness House.
Speaker 2: And the Count of Harkness.
Speaker 3: And so this is a small town out in the
dark woods, you know, about fifteen to twenty miles from Weischberg,
the main place where Netherworld takes place. But those people
that are barely surviving. But what's happening is Necrotech is
bringing in all these cans and bottles of nectar and
ambrosia that people are eating it and they're changing strength queries.
Speaker 2: So you're going to go through these two intense parted houses.
Speaker 3: Inside the show, you know, standard Netherworld stuff, but over
the top, massive monsters, massive sound effects, massive special effects.
It's overwhelming, just sensory deprivation, just constant attacks.
Speaker 2: You're gonna go out five.
Speaker 3: It's creepy and quiet, and you're going to weird, scary, rustic.
Speaker 2: Settings and just some amazing sets.
Speaker 3: We've pulled out all these ancient props we have and
it's gonna.
Speaker 2: Be an adventure and you're going to get out of there.
You're going to be like we've been in this haunted
house forever.
Speaker 3: But so many actors, so many special effects, so much
going on. I think people are really gonna love it.
Speaker 1: Yes, as I tell people every time, and I tell
you every year, you guys, I have been a fan
since the beginning. You know, it took me a couple
of years to actually make it inside because we had
a different ticketing system then. But but I absolutely just
remember just even if you're out on in the lines
like we were still like getting you know, people are
walking up on us and you know, all the different
things and to see how you guys have grown tremendously.
I tell people, I said, look, this is the thirtieth
university you've never been.
Speaker 2: Are you're quiet?
Speaker 1: This is the time to go, because New the world
is bigger than just oh it's an attraction. No no, no, no, no,
no no, it's a whole experience if you haven't been
so from the escape room, the monster Museum, the gift shop,
all the snacks and treats and all the fun little
monsters that you can, you know, have a two minute
interview with like I did last year, So be all.
Speaker 3: That an It's gonna be just packed with goodies and
just it's going to be a complete Halloween experience, and.
Speaker 2: For those who are known in other world.
Speaker 3: History, it's going to be a nostalgic experience. For those
who's never been, their jaw.
Speaker 2: Is just going to hit the floor with all the
crazy stuff that's going on.
Speaker 1: Yes, is are there any other maybe treats and surprises
that you can tell us about the Midway.
Speaker 2: Midway?
Speaker 3: Well, of course we always like to decorate the Midway to.
Speaker 2: A huge degree for Halloween.
Speaker 3: We're gonna have a several fun new photo ops, including
one that.
Speaker 2: Represents the birthday of Another World. But there's going to
be great stuff like that. Of course, there's always.
Speaker 3: New monsters with every season, and there's also classic ones
that have come back.
Speaker 2: For you to meet and talk to.
Speaker 3: Of course, have all the delicious food stuff from before.
Speaker 2: Our bizarre bever.
Speaker 3: Visuals feature a version of nectar, So the careful you drink,
if you might transform.
Speaker 2: Into something strange. You never know, and so yeah, there's
a lot going on. We also have a new sort
of food product.
Speaker 3: Called a Nightmare Dog, which is like a hot dog,
only taken to a crazy degree. It's more of a
challenge item. I would say, got many spicy things upon it.
Speaker 2: So those who like spicy things can try the Nightmare
Dog night Man Dog.
Speaker 1: Putting it on the list ben let everyone know where
they need to go to get their tickets in advanced
gets it up well.
Speaker 2: Tickets are not quite on.
Speaker 3: Sale yet as talking, but you can go to our
website at fearworld dot com and definitely want to purchase
those tickets in advance. They'll probably be up shortly in
the next couple of days or next week or.
Speaker 2: So, and come on down and see us.
Speaker 3: We've got about thirty six nights of operation this year,
so we've got a pretty good schedule. But you know,
things get crazy as we get deeper in. I always
recommend you come early. You come on weekdays, you come early,
early in the night or late at night, not.
Speaker 2: You to avoid the peak of attendance.
Speaker 3: You know usually you know, right in the middle of
the evening there on those weekends, that's when it is.
Speaker 2: It's nuts.
Speaker 3: But you know what, we've been doing this for thirty years.
We've got a good handle on managing those crowds. So
we we we'll get you through. And you know, but
you're definitely going to have an experience because it's a long.
Speaker 2: Show and it is an intense show. There's no downtime.
Its just action all the way.
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I lost my voice last year. It's
for me through like the last the seculd hot so yeah, yeah,
you know, we we we had to work it out.
I had to you know, call in some sick days
and and work some other stuff on. We worked around it.
It was okay, you know, we made it happen. But Ben,
it is always a pleasure to have you on the show.
Thanks so much for coming through. And I can't wait
to come out and party with you in all of
the cryptids and all the you know, another spam. I'm excited.
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we're looking forward to having me. It's gonna
be a night, remember well.
Speaker 1: Absolutely, And I appreciate each and every one of you guys.
Thank you so much for all of your love, your support.
It makes a huge difference. Keep in mind, anyone to
tell you that you can't do what you want to do,
you look them square in the face. You tell them,
don't believe me. Just watch watch what I do. Watch
me make it happen, Watch me make history. That's what
we're doing this for the history books. Social media is nice,
but real life is so much better. Until next time,
you guys,
