Speaker 1: It's the Internet. You're busy, Let's do this. Welcome to
the Game As Decides Podcast. This is the podcast where
we decide everything about the world of games, so you
never have to think for yourself.
Speaker 2: I'm your host Jeff Grubbin.
Speaker 1: With me is Mike Manati. In today's episode, that Xbox
situation continues to be very weird. GTA six preorders got
announced and the hat is back Jack. Oh my gosh, Mike,
how are you doing? Doing pretty good?
Speaker 3: It's it's been surprisingly busy, still coming back from SGF,
lots going on, lots to kind of do catch up
on things happening, trip planning, things like that, so just
trying to kind of get things in order over here.
Speaker 2: I am feeling the same way.
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's kind of like, oh, I could still use
a break from Summer Game Fest, but you know, I
got a vacation coming up soon, so I'm just gonna
keep looking forward to that. And it's a long weekend,
although I'm gonna be spending that weekend doing quite a
bit of other stuff, so I'll keep myself busy. But
no complaints. Really, it's been good. We've got fishing week
next week over a giant bomb.
Speaker 2: We do.
Speaker 1: We're kind on a bunch of stuff for that, looking
forward to that. But I yeah, absolutely so, yeah, you uh,
you're gonna do anything fun this weekend, Mike, you got
you're gonna see Toy Story five.
Speaker 2: I think you said you're gonna do.
Speaker 1: Yeah, we're doing. It's like a kind of a Father's
day things, like we're all riding with my dad.
Speaker 3: We'll go to that and get dinner. So that'll be fun.
But yeah, I don't know. If it's warm, I'd love
to go to the pool if that's an option. It's
getting there right swimming at Yeah, because warm today was
also really windy. I assume as storm rolled it. I
hope it wasn't like some cold front or something. So
I don't know what the temperature is.
Speaker 1: I think we're in the seventies eighties now for kind
of here on out. Maybe it'll get cool in the
evening time every once in a while, but during the
day you're gonna be able to swim. Yeah, So feeling
the same way, I'm like, all right, it's time for
a little bit of warm, warm weather so I can
go enjoy.
Speaker 2: The beachheit pretty soon. All right, let's get into it.

Speaker 1: That's patreon dot com slash game mess Thank you to
everybody who has signed up recently and has been a

Speaker 2: It means a lot to us.
Speaker 1: All right, well, well let's take a break and then
we'll get into what I want to talk about in
the news right after this. All right, we're back and yeah,
let's I mean, it's still the news worth talking about.
This Xbox thing is constantly unfolding in one gross.
Speaker 2: Way or another. Let's see we get sort of like
wrap it up as best we can. What's happened so far?
Speaker 1: New leadership at Xbox, they kind of said they're going
to hit the reset button. The business we've known has
not been strong for Xbox for years, so there's always
been like, Okay, how long are they going to withstand
a lot of these things? We know the hardware sales
are down, doesn't seem like software is doing that well
as well. Then Ash Sharma, who's the new head of Xbox,
put out a letter that was basically like an internal memo.
But she's like, yeah, let's just let everyone see because
it's gonna leak. Anyhow, we spent twenty billion dollars over
the last five years, and all we got in returned
was to make five hundred million dollars per year less
in our annual revenue. Our profit margin, as far as
Microsoft accounts for it is three percent, which is extremely
low below inflation.
Speaker 2: That's bad.
Speaker 1: And so yeah, they're they're spending a lot of money
at and they're really just kind of losing money is
what it comes down to. Maybe not losing a ton,
but they're they're losing money and it's not a business
that they're happy with. So we kind of knew a
lot of these things. But then go into Summer Game
Fest and go into the Xbox Showcase and suddenly everything's
gung ho about Xbox again. They have a big FanFest event.
They're giving away a big expensive Xboxes to their most
loyal fans. They announced that exclusivity is back, at least
for two games. Clockwork, Yeah, yes, exclusivity is back. Jack,
Clockwork Revolution will be exclusive.
Speaker 2: Gears of Or e Eday will be exclusive at least
on consoles.
Speaker 1: So it's like, okay, so they have some plan here,
and then we get home and after that showcase where
they also announce stuff like Sinua, we get home. A
week later, the reporting is out Microsoft is planning to
shut down studios like who Mixel Blade, Nina Theory, Compulsion,
maybe Double Fine, and everyone. Well that's especially we're in
the case of a Ninja Theory because they just announced
the game, like just last week, So what's going on here?
More reporting? Microsoft knew they were going to shut the
studio down, and the reason they kept the game in
there Sinua in the showcase according to this according to
the reports, is that Microsoft wanted to sort of showcase
the game so that it would make it more valuable
when they try to find new partners to sell this
studio too, and then maybe that's something that could happen.
Speaker 2: Now.
Speaker 1: That is the lay is that Compulsion, Double Find and
Ninja Theory are in conversations and negotiations with Microsoft to
find somewhere for these teams to go or to potentially
be closed down. And yeah, it all just I mean,
there's more to it, Like there was a blog post
from Ninja Theory talking about like, what is this like
the new future for Ninja Theory at Xbox where you're
gonna be releasing games even faster now? And is that
what we can expect from you? And it's like no
one who did that on the Xbox Wire or seemingly
at Ninja Ninja Theory had any idea what was waiting
for them.
Speaker 2: On the other side, point is it.
Speaker 1: Just all makes Xbox look completely incoherent to the point
of comedy.
Speaker 2: Dark comedy, but comedy.
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, it's it's flappable that they're trying to
like get fans excited about Xbox again when they're using
their showcase, which is meant to do that maybe shop
a studio around. That's absolutely bonkers.
Speaker 1: Oh thanks.
Speaker 3: It's pretty depressing because I can't imagine what their best
case scenario for this is.
Speaker 2: All right, you have exclusives again?
Speaker 3: Is that somehow gonna make the Xbox series x's or
s's sell more. Can't imagine that, Well, you have a
new console coming, What the hell is that then gonna cost?
And what exclusives can you possibly have? The only one
that you can imagine making some kind of difference that
could feasibly maybe come out for that is Elder Scroll six?
Is that going to be enough? After we saw what
Starfield was like? So I just don't understand what world
there is where this console comes out and it somehow
gains back market share and puts them on the right
foot and a lot of people buy it, and there's
all these exclusives from all these studios that they don't
own actually anymore. I just don't see how this is
gonna coalesce to anything.
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's another thing that the Sinuwa game got mentioned
as get it on day one on Game pass right.
It's like, well, you don't know that you're gonna shut
the thing down. Maybe that's going to depend on whoever
buys it. Maybe if there is a buyer, that could
not be and they could all get just shut down,
right and yeah, and like you don't even know if
this game is going to be real, right, so it
could get shut down and it'll never happen, and yet
you are selling your console on it.
Speaker 2: It just speaks to a.
Speaker 1: It's beyond tone deafness, it's something else. It's you know,
it's vile, is what it is. And you know, I
would prefer that these studios find their way out from
under Xbox Mike. But to me, it seems clear that
the best course of action here is exactly what they
did for Toys for Bob. I don't, of course, we
don't know the inner workings of these things. If there
would be some reason why it was easy for Toys
for Bob to just sort of escape for Microsoft and
do their own thing right and then can immediately get
a contract for Microsoft. But whatever, you're like clearly desperate
for good pr how much are you really going to
get for these studios right now? It's it's going to
be more of a headache than it's worth. Just let
them spin off on their own and let them find
their own partners. I think that is something we've also
heard that these companies were like, hey, can we just
like go on our own and go find our own
funding without having to worry about like keeping you satisfied Microsoft,
And so far that's not been met with, like, you know,
a decent reaction for Microsoft. It's yeah, I we can
go through this mess over and over again, Mike, but
I don't know where where do you think my Xbox
is a year from now, five years from now?
Speaker 2: Because I just really don't know.
Speaker 1: It's it's hard.
Speaker 3: I mean again, you always feel incredibly pessimistic in these moments,
and you're like, who knows if it's still a thing.
Speaker 1: Things bounce back in weird ways. I remember not to
on everyone.
Speaker 2: It's like Blizzard's done.
Speaker 3: Yes, that's over right, Like everyone kind of mentally moved
on and then they seem fine all of a sudden.
In this case, it seems weird just because there is
an aspect of it that is tied too hardware, and
then okay, really sell that and becomes its own thing,
and it's like well what is that? What does that
version of Xbox look like? That isn't tied some kind
of console, It's just a rand floating around, you know,
essentially three things Fort's.
Speaker 2: Halo and Gears of War.
Speaker 3: Right, I might be forgetting some like how much is
that actually going to be worth in say twenty thirty,
I'm not sure?
Speaker 1: Right in the idea here being like they wouldn't get
rid of Activision, right, they wouldn't get rid of Blizzard
or King yes, or Minecrime maybe even right yeah, right,
So it's like, right, you're selling the opportunity to be
a hardware company, and who's really buying that right now? Yeah?
Speaker 2: So this is you know, part of the ongoing trend.
Speaker 1: And in industry Xboxes and a loan, Ubisoft had layoffs, don't
nod is running out of money.
Speaker 2: There's just yeah, kind of across the board. It's a problem.
Speaker 1: But Xbox, being a major mover in the industry and
also largely responsible for the state of hardware costs due
to their aggressive pursuit of AI, a lot of blame
can be laid at their feet and they're just gonna
keep getting it. And people don't have good vibes around
that company, and it turn turns out buying and playing
video games is a vibes based thing. A lot of times,
we want to feel excited about the platforms we're using.
We want them to make us feel special, we want
them to feel special, and.
Speaker 2: A Microsoft doesn't have any of that right.
Speaker 3: Now, right And like, I think there's also a point
that frustrats people. They're like, well, what do we do
about this? It's like, well, I can you know, cancel
my game paths? Not by these games. It seems to
mostly just hurt those studios that we're worried about, right,
Chixbox is always going to be you know, I mean
there I had a little bit of this kind of
thing where I'm like, everyone's really mad at the idea
they're going to close Compulsion because we like the studios.
Speaker 1: Right Yet, you know, when we come out and.
Speaker 3: We say things like we like forts the Horizon six,
people get mad at us because we're you know, I
don't know, playcating genocide or something or the things that
people say to us sometimes. So I don't know, people
get frustrated, but I think we all like these studios
that they own, and that's why we get upset when
it's it's certain that they're closed down and I don't know,
I don't I don't want this to sound like sparing,
but it feels kind of like, well, there's not much
we can do about it.
Speaker 1: Huh yeah, I mean right, And that does like that's
how I feel about a lot of these things. It's
a go go back to h how I feel about recycling,
where it's like one person, you can yell at one
person for not recycling their aluminum, you're kind of just
wasting your time. That literally does not make a difference.
It is has to be done on an institutional level,
and we just don't like we have to band together
and find power where we just don't have it.
Speaker 2: And that's it's hard to do right now.
Speaker 1: People.
Speaker 3: It's a thing the boss was somehow teach XBO or
Microsoft a lesson that without like like holding up double find.
At the same time, it's I don't know, it's it's messy,
and I get how anger gets misdirected because of it.
Speaker 2: Sometimes, Oh yeah for sure.
Speaker 1: Anyea, like no one knows where the right place for
this singer is other than the very top. But it's like, yeah,
everyone wants to do something like you said.
Speaker 3: Right, right, But it's just like, how do you get
you know, the very top of Microsoft, and they're weird
AI future and all that awful shit and the stuff
that's going to be making all this shit cost more
money anyways, it's real frustrating.
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like my thing is always like people should
just just take care of your own self, go ahead
and stop. I'm gonna just like sort of slowly move
away from like as many big gaming companies as I
possibly can in terms of like, that's what I want
to be thinking about all the time. I just want
this to be a hobby. I don't need it to
be a business for me. And so it's like, yeah,
I'll just continue tinkering with with old games and and
new games and definitely stuff from studios that are at
these big companies, but it's not going to be living
or dying by like what Microsoft's going to do with
the next generation of consoles. I just can't see how
even a PS six can change the way I'm playing
games all that much anymore. So it's it's kind of
the time the right time to figure out what what
is this hobby?
Speaker 2: Really?
Speaker 1: Like?
Speaker 3: The oh my, like, the most interesting thing about the
next consoles. To me, is this the theoretical or are
they going to cost? But I can't imagine anything else
about them being very exciting.
Speaker 2: Exactly right, Yeah, that's the old conversation to have about them.
Speaker 4: Yeah.
Speaker 2: Absolutely.
Speaker 1: It's so like this industry could rely on excitement for
new fangled hardware and they're just not gonna be able
to do that for sure for the next threeish years,
and then even beyond that.
Speaker 2: I mean, this might break it.
Speaker 1: This might be this might break that spell for good,
and it will have to be like, what are some
interesting ways you could play games that already exist and
could already be played on anything else, And that will
look a lot more for me. I don't I don't
care about again, don't care about a business. For me,
it's gonna look like a Y and thoors and things
like that and superstations and misters and analogs.
Speaker 2: I know, I'm sorry, I'm.
Speaker 1: Sorry, all right, it's this is the theme. Bungie is
also seemingly going to lose four hundred staff. Now that's
from some maybe shaky reporting, but I think we should
expect that there's gonna be big cuts at Bungie. Sounds
like they will happen sometime soon this summer. They're probably
going they're probably coming up with a plan right now.
Speaker 2: It seems like.
Speaker 1: A Destiny two was resurgent with that most recent release
of content, the one that sort of say goodbye to
the one that was going to say goodbye to the game,
And despite that, they're looking at that and it's like,
even that is not close to enough of what we
need to make this game make sense long term, and
they already decided to move on from it obviously. So yeah,
Destiny two is gonna go go away. And Marathon has
never been as popular as Destiny two was. It's not
as popular as Destiny two is right now. Destiny two
more like, I think more people are playing Destiny too
right now because of that content and stuff like that.
Speaker 2: More people own it makes.
Speaker 1: Sense, But it's gonna take time to get Marathon up
to that point. And in the meantime, Bungee is huge, unwieldy,
expensive in a place that's kind of expensive to make
any kind of game, let alone these massive kinds of games.
So yeah, probably expect some layoffs there soon as well.
Speaker 3: Boy, if only we had an idea like ten years ago,
try four that's a ten year old game.
Speaker 2: Enough.
Speaker 3: I only had some idea ten years ago that Vida
games are getting too expensive, yeah, to make anymore. I mean,
they can't keep this up.
Speaker 1: It goes back to it goes back to GameCube, right,
Like that's how long Nintendo's known, Like they go yeah, right, yeahs, like,
oh shit, we're trying to keep up with the Joneses
here and why like, let's let's not do that. And
they broke with the Wii and since then they've been
in a much better better position than the rest of
the industry, specifically because they knew that and uh, you know,
they have their own costs associated with their games. Their
games are expensive as well. But they were able to
like put that off for a very long time and
sort of slowly approach it because they made that decision
twenty five years ago or whatever it is, twenty years.
Speaker 3: Or and like and whatever Xbox or PlayStation kind of
does try small games. They just they's like not very good,
like that God of War metro Van and by the way, wow,
God of War for that, Huh, that's that's really daring
or I don't know if it's a marketing thing or what,
but like a kiln or you know, just can't really
reach an audience. They just can't really get it out there,
gets right, people figure that out. There's just really no
moment to behind anything but the next years of war,
the next god of war, and then I again, it's
hard to imagine that's going to be sustainable for another
ten years somehow.
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I'm not as tapped into like the
PlayStation fan base, I think, but when I do tap in,
when I when I kind of see what they're talking about,
they don't get they're not It seems to me they're
not excited that suddenly Guitar Room Man is playable on
their PlayStation, and it's like, I just it's not the
same on on on a lot of other platforms, especially
like Nintendo, where these games hit NSO and it's like
a big talking point. I'm probably blind to that excitement.
I'm guessing that's what's happening here. But to me, it
also seems like the audience got so trained for such big,
glowy games, big shiny games, that if you told them, hey,
we're making a new Guitar room Man, or a new
Guitar Room Man was coming out, it wouldn't do anything,
and like that's a shame. There's something like something got
lost because because they could not like cultivate the audience
in the correct way.
Speaker 3: Right, And I guess maybe that's just the thing about it,
right is I'm like, you know, make make more small
games or bring back these franchises, And the sad truth
is that that audience may not care anymore for that. Yeah,
just like how you know, like there's not that much
of a young audience on these platforms anymore, so they
try to make a game that you know, maybe targets
younger kids, Well, the young kids just aren't there anyways.
They are there just playing Fortnite on attend up. There's
an audience of children and young younger people who are
trained to be excited about games coming.
Speaker 2: Then then there's nostalgic people as well.
Speaker 3: But like, yeah, where are the people who grew up
the place one placetation two are? They are a lot
of them still in that placeation ecosystem still? You think
they would have to be.
Speaker 1: They as they all also become mostly PC gamers. I
guess yeah, maybe.
Speaker 5: You're any Thorian stuff, Like what are you talking about?
Speaker 4: Yeah?
Speaker 5: Some almost said in I play They played the Taramunta
today where that you played it?
Speaker 1: No, they they they did just PlayStation plus Christian that's why. Yeah,
so that's probably where people are playing it now. Yes, yeah,
you're right, though, I meant people in our audience playing
Guitar Man today. Yeah, huh oh yeah for sure.
Speaker 2: Uh well, more people should go play Guitar Room Man.
Go make that happen.
Speaker 1: If you have PlayStation Plus Ultimate or whatever the fuck
it's called the High Tier, it's on there. Go go
try it out. All right, those are the new stories
I wanted to talk about. I'm sure we can get
to some other stuff in the super chats.
Speaker 2: Mike. Let's go ahead and take a break. We'll come
back and do that.
Speaker 1: That sound good, okay, right after this, everybody, all right,
we are back, Mike. Let's hit those super chats please.
Speaker 3: Oh alright, YouTube being even shittier than usual. Hell yeah,
it's just going nuts, all right, heaving says, Xbox turn
off Brownie Face all right in case Xbox Xbox are
off and again it's like that's it's like, yeah, oh yes,
screw Xbox. It's like, well, it's gonna suffer. As the
double finds in the playground.
Speaker 1: Abes and fucking everything else about Microsoft. What we don't
like about it, still gonna be there making fucking data
centers and burning oceans and helping people bomb cities and
places will never be the nightmare. It's a heu escape god.
Speaker 2: Yep, absolutely to one.
Speaker 3: Freemances boys, I was born in eighty seven, my mom
in fifty six. Will you please ask my mom Dennis
to finally admit how much coke she did in the seventies? Oh, member,
grub you are now her son, right, thanks, love your book, guys,
b Ford, Mom, how.
Speaker 1: Much coke did you do back in the seventies? Come on,
you could tell us it was legal back then, so
there's it's all good.
Speaker 2: Just tell us. I'm gonna guess a lot.
Speaker 3: I have one of those incredibly straight laced moms, you know,
like even just getting her to get like an alcoholic drink,
It's gonna happen maybe on vacation or Mother's Day when
we go to when I take her to the Mexican
restaurant she likes, she will get a strawberry margarita cheese
of course, yeah right right. Because of that, she's like, well,
I'm not driving for like the next two days.
Speaker 1: You know, mine, it was very much the kind of
where it's she did all this stuff when she was young,
but now now she's like frightful of her son's doing
it or whatever. So you know, even though I'm forty two,
now forty three, excuse me.
Speaker 2: Oh that's good, you can't remember old you are?
Speaker 1: And oh yeah after that time constantly, Yeah it sucks, Missouri.
Matt says, thank you Jeff and Mike for the content.
Speaker 2: How much?
Speaker 3: How have we all switched Dan's ripcord bite into a
community band together to save the youth center after a
school special? I mean, frankly, I'm a little tired of
his moaning and complaining, is why?
Speaker 1: All right? Let's get past it then? Geez yep exactly,
because if he has a bad episode, like he's been
having some good episodes so he's in good spirits, you
guys should.
Speaker 2: See him when he has a bad episode afterwards.
Speaker 1: So yeah, it's I'm afraid of that because I just
don't want to deal with it.
Speaker 2: Passed.
Speaker 1: I want, I want, I almost said lesson learned, of course,
not no, absolutely not no?
Speaker 2: All right?
Speaker 4: Uh.
Speaker 3: Tim Morow says, you reach the hydration break, please, take
the next two to three minutes to drink some water.
Speaker 2: All these great ads play. Christian loves the hydration breaks.
Speaker 1: Oh this World Cup saying they are putting they're putting
two to three minutes of ads in the middle of
the halfs which have in soccer never had ads before.
Speaker 2: It's it's we all we get why they're doing it,
Like we get.
Speaker 5: I was just I was just gonna explain a little
bit more because people it's like, oh, what's the problem, Like, well,
so much about like the tendency that like the momentum
of the yeah and you it happened. Were like people
the teams that were like kind of losing the the
you know, the match, they come back with the hydration
break and they start winning.
Speaker 1: Is it's so for me, it's like like I'm so
used to that, Christian, because we have so many ads
in our sports that those momentums, those momentum flips after
like a break is something that's like part of the
strategy now, where like I'm watching it's like, oh my god,
there came back. Are they going to be able to
maintain the momentum or can the other team come back?
And so it's like, yeah, I get it. I mean
you're so used to what to soccer be in one
way that them doing this specifically make more money.
Speaker 2: It's just crass.
Speaker 5: Because like there's a lot of pressure on the team
that's winning to keep that that that momentum, and if
it happens the other way around, like the team that's
been losing and like turn this around, he's like super
hype and kind of we're kind of losing that now.
Speaker 2: He's just like, yep, well that's it.
Speaker 1: There's that's that's the World Cup up date.
Speaker 2: Thank you, thank you for World World Cup. Correspondent Christian
thank You.
Speaker 3: Zombie Porn says this might have a VR headset just
because him playing Perfect Dark for the first time in
the family r PC port would be funny. I have
an index I am not using forever, and I've taken
down the like mountings. I never had had a space
quite big enough for it, so I set it up
in this room the one time to play Half Life
Alex when I reviewed it. Actually it's well, I even
had one that was fun, but it was it's just
it's funny enough and it kind of a pain to
set it up that I never did it very much
and I do get motion sick relatively quickly, like maybe twenty.
Speaker 2: Minutes in there and I'm kind of done. So not a.
Speaker 3: Huge VR guy. I never really got one of the
you know solo it's just the headset thing. I might
like those, Like if that new valve one wasn't gonna
maybe cost two thousand dollars or whatever, I maybe would
be interested in that.
Speaker 2: But yea, you are, Samy. I really like my Quest
that three I.
Speaker 1: I probably use it about once a month, and sometimes
it's play a little bit games. Often it's just like
I'm gonna watch a movie in here, which I have
found to be pretty pleasant.
Speaker 2: E g.
Speaker 3: If Bramalgia says you should make damn play the Secret
is Went of Doctor Quandary for the next Lightning round, Pantus.
I don't know the secret island the doctor the only
secret island I know Monkey Island right same here?
Speaker 2: Actually yeah, it.
Speaker 3: Has This is an edgicational puzzle video game.
Speaker 2: That's funny. How back can that be?
Speaker 6: Well?
Speaker 2: That looks interesting? Okay is this a learning company joint?
I'm not sure?
Speaker 1: But there's the menu bar has help file and goodies,
so I gotta see what' under goodies.
Speaker 2: I don't know.
Speaker 3: This looks kind of just fun to me. This is
making me nostalgic for computer class elementary school.
Speaker 2: You get to play math blaster and wear in the
oral's Carmen San Diego and stuff.
Speaker 3: Deep Space ninety eight says the world is dogshit, but
thank god for Jeff and Mikey keeping up the amazing
work guys. Also Vamas Argentina, Christian let's make it four cups?
Speaker 1: Hell yeah, you have.
Speaker 2: To put another star on those flag or whatever.
Speaker 1: Did you guys win the last one?
Speaker 2: I remember the defending champions. Look at you go, look
at you go?
Speaker 1: And then and then immediately in the first game, Messi
tied for having the most goals in World Cup history
and got his first hat trick in the World Cup,
which is like one of the very few things he
had not done before.
Speaker 2: YEP.
Speaker 3: End of Viking Sister saw Crafted publisher sales team and
there was no sign of Nautica two. Some searching showed
that was listed under unknown worlds. Might be some awareness
going on behind the scenes.
Speaker 1: Yeah, well yeah, I think it.
Speaker 3: Not because it's not on sale, but because Crafts is
not listed as the publisher, is what they're saying.
Speaker 1: Right, And I think I think Unknown Worlds was like
given the rights by court order to be the publisher
of that game, to handle the publishing of that game
separate from crafting. So yeah, I think that might be
the result of that. I don't think it's behind the scenes.
I think it's very much public, you know, court ruling.
Speaker 3: Uh Bill Oxfordtuna says the Xbox Showcase started with the message,
here's to another twenty five years. So seenya is probably
not the only thing they are going to backtrack. It's
it's twenty five years later. Man, It's I don't know,
that's one where I'm like, boy, there's still an Xbox,
a Trevy Baby.
Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know what sorts of weird things is
the United States, but some things can happen. Yeah, right,
my friend.
Speaker 5: My friend, my friend, when he saw that thing, he said, like,
there'll be x us being suicidals for twenty five years
because he started to remember all this stuff they did
for like to kill the the brow, like the emotion thing,
like the Milo stuff, oh right.
Speaker 1: The TV TV TV stuff like that was yea.
Speaker 3: Even when they had like their great beloved console, the
thing fucking broke like constantly like they spent they spent
years making it worse with all the avatar dollars.
Speaker 1: Yeah, just to get it. Like they're lucky enough to
make the first console that was actually ready for the internet.
Speaker 3: Right, Like they were ready for that and they had
that going for him, and then not much since then.
Speaker 2: Yep.
Speaker 3: Uh Jacob Benches, Hey, guys, you think we see Gears
eat there and PlayStation within two years of its release?
I mean I could see them not Maybe they could
also just not bother and just going forward, the next
Gears will be on PlayStation and that one just isn't.
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's uh. I would put the I
would take the over.
Speaker 1: I would say over two years and Gears worried day
might end up on PlayStation. U. G.
Speaker 3: Nitro says, I signed up for game Pass again after
the price drop and pretty much about the cancel. Not
sure why they how they instill confidence at this point. Yeah,
I mean that's definitely they like, Yeah, there's sales pitch
right now just doesn't seem amazing at the moment.
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, like you can go online and it's like,
you know, everyone who is an Xbox diehard is spending
all their time bending themselves into pretzels to justify anything that.
Speaker 2: Is happening right now.
Speaker 1: They're not playing games, they're not happy, and it's like,
I just it seems like it seems miserable on that
console right now. So it's very easy to sort of
just go on and ignore it. And if they put
out a game from a studio that I care about
that I want to check out, I will, because yeah,
there's a lot of studios at the company that I
do want to keep playing their games, but it's just
not going to be through Xbox these days, and I
just am not going to try to get into that
ecosystem epdia boxes. Some microsofticers always trying to ice skate
a pill.
Speaker 2: That's exactly right. Yeah, it's it's I mean, it was.
Speaker 3: It was wild for a while that like they're still
kind of like that hardcore contingent and like you know,
the tim dogs of the world somehow still exist, They're
still involved in that fight.
Speaker 1: I don't know, yeah, something it was something we talked
about this on gamels Morning since someone and Jan said
something about like you know it's on site if I
see one of the executives or something, and there was
a video of Jana Choa threatening violence against Xbox executives.
Speaker 2: I'm just like, oh man, they're getting sweet jam now.
Speaker 3: Oh no, oh wow, they're going at their jam. The
part testing at us in general, I uh yeah, uh yeah. Again,
there's a lot of misdirected anger. I suppose I had
to give out the codes for that forbidden Solitaire game
right because like we got codes to give out the
new people who joined up to Premium Giant Bomb, and
I was getting out like the one was like I
don't want your code. I can't sell premium already because
you guys are anti AI or anti human, anti human.
That's why we're anti human. Apparently they think we're we're
very pro and I was like, oh god, okay, what
can we do about it right now? I even put
a thing in there this time, like if you don't
want to code, give to someone else, because last time
I had too many people trying to be nice like
oh I already have this, or I don't want to
give to someone else.
Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't want to work anymore. It's your
code now you figure it out exactly.
Speaker 3: Yeah, but yes, that was the person who was mean
to me, by the way, that I talked about.
Speaker 2: That was making me sad, but I took a nap.
I feel better.
Speaker 3: Uh let's see here now, George Sneeze heard anything about
the E A. Iron Man wasn't an SGF. Doesn't EA
ship any nonsports game before Saudi purchases finalized? Thanks for
the fun, fellas. EA is published the two Star Wars
games that are coming out, right, Star Wars Galactic Racer.
I assume that's still them, and uh, the.
Speaker 2: That's not them.
Speaker 3: They're not the publisher star Wars collect the Racers secret
mode is, Yes, they're the Are they the publisher of
the Tactics game?
Speaker 2: Yes?
Speaker 1: Because RESPOND is doing that? Okay with with bit Reactor,
all right? Yeah?
Speaker 3: Is there much else that there? What else are they posting?
Is they aside from sports games?
Speaker 4: Right?
Speaker 2: So? Like and that's on the EA sports side, the
EA game side. What are they doing? That's a good question.
Speaker 1: That's like titan Fall sims things like that or I'm
not titan Fall excuse me, apex lies.
Speaker 2: Right right right? So?
Speaker 1: But yeah, but do you, Harry, have you heard anything
about iron Man lately?
Speaker 4: No?
Speaker 1: I haven't checked in on it recently, and so I
won't say anything so we don't have another Blade situation.
But uh yeah, I mean, I I know, like so
some of those games did get like disrupted, right, and
it was the other.
Speaker 2: Black Panther game, not the Amy Hennig one.
Speaker 3: Right, the other Black Panther game was, and that Wonder
Woman game also, right, and that the one.
Speaker 1: That over w b the Wonder Woman game, right, Okay,
but then the Amy Hennig Captain America Black Panther game
still seemingly like it's happened. Seems like it's happening in
the Iron Man game from this is it Visceral? It's
not Visceral, it's the other one. Yeah, Motive a Motive
which worked on dead Space, which was Visceral before. That's
why I went there.
Speaker 3: And they've been doing a lot with Battlefield also, right,
So yes, that's been distracting them. Man, that dead Space
remake was great. Yeah gosh, and it's like, now we're
not gonna get more of that cool cool We're I'm
we're getting five solon Hill games. You guys can't make
the one awesome dead Space remake you have make any sense?
Speaker 1: Well, yeah, it's like you kind of reset things with
that Dead Space game. So you can like just go
ahead and make all new versions of dead Space two
and three in terms of story to keep it going
beyond that.
Speaker 3: But okay, whatever annoying, all right? Next one here is
from zombie Porn. Jeff take Mike's sleepy gummies or his
mez cow youd take. I would take those those little
Zequil melatonin gummies.
Speaker 1: I've not taken the Zequel ones, but I have melatonin
gummies and I'll take well, I'll take one tonight and
I bet that will help.
Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that.
Speaker 3: There's like a again, it's it's not like the first
form of Zequel maybe.
Speaker 2: Had weird stuff in it.
Speaker 3: These gummies are just melatone and other things like the
one I have is Melatona and.
Speaker 2: Like yeah eleven, Yeah, okay, totally.
Speaker 3: It's yeah, like part ofies, like my best my day
is like it's a good chance that might just be
completely placebo, but hey, what the heck?
Speaker 2: Yeah, who cares? Yeah exactly.
Speaker 3: H see here now at that point, Drey, thank you
for the five gifted memberships on YouTube.
Speaker 2: Appreciate that. Thank you.
Speaker 3: Uh Zah says, I believe for Extra lives and squirt
Town bonus is real. Yes, we've look, we have given
We've directed Dan to a lot of extra lives, right,
did you see that?
Speaker 2: Did you see the video that someone edited together of
us forgetting that discovered?
Speaker 4: Yeah?
Speaker 1: Yeah, Look, it's a lot a lot going on. It
stands problem, why would we remember someone who's what it
really needs to remember exactly? But yeah, now now we
know that. I think he'll have a lot of lives
on his next run, right. I wish he had the
picture just to practice that thing at the end more so,
could have actually have done it one time. And look,
there's also a chance that everyone says like, oh, he
can't beat the game. My hope, I hope at this point,
I'm sorry that he goes into the last level and
it's like, oh, you're not cool enough of a space
guy to do.
Speaker 3: This level and it's just fucking done. But it could
be that close to being done. Yeah, supposedly he can't
reach credits. The only thing that's left everything I see
is this last level.
Speaker 1: So maybe he's just not allowed to do it, and
the only thing he has left to do is to
touch that portal. Maybe maybe he has to play that's
a possibility. I think he's gonna have to play that level.
But and I do think that level is going to
require him to learn it like he has with some
other levels.
Speaker 3: So that's the thing, like, and I kind of want
to prepare him to like, look, you're probably gonna have
to get to that last.
Speaker 1: Level, learn it, and then all your training on there
on one thing, and then yes, put the final run together.
Speaker 2: Yes, exactly.
Speaker 3: Yeah, I do think I think he finally figured out
that biker Chase level that was giving him problems at
least though.
Speaker 1: Yeah, right, it always feels like every week with that one,
it feels like there's always like something new that's causing the.
Speaker 2: Problem and upset them. That's the one that can make
him a grumpy bear. Yes, it could totally throw them off.
Speaker 3: All right, Postman dances, all these fun games out in
the Skate three recomp is the only thing that grabbed me.
Speaker 2: Is there something wrong with me? I want to try that.
Speaker 3: I never playing the skate games until that new one,
which I thought that was actually fun.
Speaker 1: We had a great time with that. Yes, I was like,
I should go play Skate three. I guess then, yeah,
I'll do that, and I might just go play more
that new skate I'm not like a skate fan, so
that whatever people didn't like about that new skate game
wasn't really getting to me.
Speaker 2: I think it seems like a dese amount of people
did like it.
Speaker 1: Oh yeah for sure, yes absolutely, but it didn't like
win over everybody.
Speaker 3: No next up is left on. Red says this could
be my last evil, trying to go to COMBA Breaker
or CEO next year. Yasmin, that's great. Yeah, does look
great if you're getting this. Like when that game play
came out, a lot of people some maybe then here
like oh look at that, Like you're wrong. I never
thought that these characters would be batter You don't think
they were gonna come out.
Speaker 1: Geez, I don't want to fight.
Speaker 2: Show the table when he reacted to the reveal.
Speaker 1: The tape, the shape show that we said that we
just would like one more familiar character, probably from Final You.
Speaker 5: Know what annoys me the most? Also, I don't know
it's me the most. He's like, we should have like
the three Fighter, like thirst Strike. It's like thirst Strike,
all those motherfuckers that were like who said that?
Speaker 1: The old new people?
Speaker 2: I want more Third Strick characters in there is what
I said.
Speaker 5: Strike, like that game is good because he had a
bunch of new characters.
Speaker 1: Right, yeah, but now like this characters' pristure. This is
not hard tone understand. It's just that you're making it
more difficult. That needs to be We like those characters.
Speaker 6: Doesn't play the game, doesn't play fighting games. That's like
fighting games, all right. I won't get my opinion on
anymore in any games. You play more than me, That's
all he's going to hear, just.
Speaker 1: Like you just asked for you don't brother?
Speaker 2: That's it? Yes, yes, looks great. Yeah.
Speaker 7: For the record, yes, it's the only one of the
three Chuds who looks good. By the way, I maintain
that anyways, a como breaker is great. It's this guy
is the final fund? Does the guy he Tifa?
Speaker 1: I can't was excited about Tifa?
Speaker 2: Like Ti, what are you talking about?
Speaker 1: The only one that doesn't look like the other three Chuds?
Thinking of the three of the three they look they
all looked like Assholesina one, Why are you being such
a dick?
Speaker 4: Why are you so mad?
Speaker 1: Because? Is it because you learned the Yankees are fascist?
Is that why you're upset? I me too, I always
knew that that's all you like about it. Yes, Johnny
Poyce says, see the cool new Star Fox poster.
Speaker 3: It got me hyped. Yeah, that demo really good. You
was really good in that demo. The music holy crap.
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the Rex Absolute Last theme.
Speaker 2: There's like a little bit like a choir all of a.
Speaker 1: Sudden in the Boss theme. Whoa, It's It's also like, uh,
the exact thing I was kind of expecting to happen,
at least from my own personal take, was as soon
as I was playing the game, none of the weirdness
of the characters mattered anymore, and I kind of was
just like, oh, this rules and the game.
Speaker 2: Itself just looks so good.
Speaker 3: Yeah, God, I say, I have a high resversion that
I want to make that my desktop background.
Speaker 1: My current desktop background.
Speaker 2: Is still actually this Disney Christmas one.
Speaker 1: I never tell Yeah, dude, I gave myself a seasonal background.
It kind of forgot about it until my brothers were here,
like nice background, bike, Like what, I'm glad you got yours?
Speaker 2: This rules man? Look at that.
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just it's like the great It's the Great
Fox over some ringed planet and it's just framed.
Speaker 1: Is that Macbeth?
Speaker 2: I'm just guessing.
Speaker 1: You know, I just realized there's more planets in there
named after Shakespeare's thought, because there's Titania.
Speaker 2: Also, are they even more I somehow missed. Probably, I
don't know.
Speaker 1: I'll let you know when I play in there.
Speaker 3: Somewhere there's editing says, uh, that's not Shakespeare, piece of
ship Shakespeare.
Speaker 2: Is it not?
Speaker 1: No, Oedipus complex Oedipus, Yeah, from it from Oedipus, from
the character Oedipus from Yeah.
Speaker 2: No, that's ancient Greek, I believe. Is it okay?
Speaker 1: Piece stupid? Just absolutely slack jawed. Uh, yeah, that's it.
It's sophocally.
Speaker 3: So what do you think that all Shakespeare's musicals?
Speaker 2: I do?
Speaker 1: Actually?
Speaker 4: Yeah, if I.
Speaker 1: Feel like I don't say I have.
Speaker 3: It's so ridiculous anyways, it toy Morole says, can I
have the forbidden Solitaire code?
Speaker 2: Yes? Actually you can't. Sure, there you go.
Speaker 1: I'm good as it'd be funny if you try every teammate,
it turns out you redeem it anyway, I'll laugh. Ah.
Speaker 3: Then the one Refreeman says, follow up to Tannis's or said, Tenise,
you think Tannis Denise, I don't know.
Speaker 1: I'm right, you're saying both ways to make it could
easily be either one.
Speaker 3: Right, Well, well, your new mom's response was coke was
not legal in the seventies. She ain't comping the shit apparently, Well,
it wasn't legal, how could she possibly do it?
Speaker 2: Jeff, I'm lessing.
Speaker 1: Did I thought the trick would work. I didn't get her.
I'll get her next time. I'll I'll come up with
another way to get her to admit this.
Speaker 2: Try good, try and then n ten.
Speaker 3: Derek says, we need we do need third straight characters
and more final fake characters. Threet Fetter six World Tour
Mode was great, and I love to see those characters
in there. Yeah they are done with World with Tour
Mode two, which is yeah.
Speaker 1: They killed it.
Speaker 2: You also do they had stop? They were this m
I know where my air came from.
Speaker 1: Like, yes, the hamlet is I always heard that was
an Oedipus complex play, and I just mixed it together
in my Yeah.
Speaker 2: It's similar. I get it.
Speaker 3: Yeah, that's all shit. That you probably old shit. I
haven't had to think about much since tenth grade. I
get it all right, any other super chats. That's it
for now, Thank you, so much, everybody. I hope that
you uh all want to send more super chats. We
will read them before the end of the show.
Speaker 2: If you do. Thank you.
Speaker 1: All right, everybody, we are going to take another break.
When we come back, it's time.
Speaker 2: For the Hat. We'll do that right after this.
Speaker 1: All right, we're back, Mike Hat Hat Hat.
Speaker 3: The hat has been reloaded with some suggestions from our community.
So we got some new goodies in here and some
that have not been pulled out since the origin of
the hat. Oh man, A couple of them jumped out.
They must really want to be read. I say we
start with these then.
Speaker 2: Okay, all right, let's do it.
Speaker 1: Well, here we go.
Speaker 2: This is a new one.
Speaker 3: I just added what is the great And if you
don't know the hat, there are phrases in these slips
of paper that will fill in the sentence what is
the greatest blank of all time? We're going to decide
these things, starting with what is the greatest Iron Maiden
album of all time?
Speaker 1: Do you know much about Iron Maiden? Grubby much? What's
your fan?
Speaker 7: No?
Speaker 1: If their music's on, I will be like, okay, cool,
that's where I'm att.
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'm a bit This is my favorite band.
I've talked about them a bit lately, so I think
that's where this suggestion has come in. I think generally
their most popular albums are a number of The Beast,
Peace of Mind, Power Slave Somewhere in Time comes up
a lot. I'm I'm actually a big fan of their
two thousand album Brave New World.
Speaker 1: Point. It's hard.
Speaker 3: Power Slave is so freaking good, and that's the one
that has the fourteen minute epic at the end based
off of the classic romance poem, the rhyme of the
ancient Mariner.
Speaker 1: Okay, boy is that boy? Does that go hard?
Speaker 3: That sounds like it wouldn't. Yeah, that one goes incredibly hard.
Power Slave also is the last one of theirs. I
have an instrumental Loss for Words, which is a super
fun It's got two Minutes to Midnight, and uh Aces High,
which are just bangers. So they all have amazing cover.
This is the one that has like the ancient age
of theme there, so that looks freaking cool as hell.
Speaker 1: So Power Slave is probably there.
Speaker 3: They have a lot of masterpieces, but the Power Slave
kind of at the height of their powers. That's probably
the one I would say is the greatest Iron Maden
album of all time? Yes, I am, don't worry you should,
Uh you haven't. Let's if you haven't less of a
tiroren maide and you want to listen to one. I
think I do think that's going to start, especially because
like the two best songs maybe are in the front
of the album. They like starts with aces high, then
two minutes to midnight and it's just then there's two
songs back to back that are about sword fighting, I
believe because Bruce Dickinson, the least singer was in defensing
at the time.
Speaker 2: So yeah, good stuff there.
Speaker 3: Ah righty, how about another one jumped out? We'll try
the one jump ou Let's see, it's on my floor.
Speaker 1: I gotta go grab it. Yeah, go ahead, do what
you gotta do. If these ones want to be read,
we got to abide, all right. What is the greatest
casino game of all time? Now, some of these are
about video games, some of them are not. Now I
don't think we mean like a casino video game. I
mean you go to a casino, they got games and tables.
What's the best one? What are you going too? I
mean I'm gonna go to poker because that's the one
I understand the best. It's also the one where you
can increase your odds the most. So it's like the
fairest to you, I would go, I would go, you know,
Texas hold them no limit poker. But if I think
I do, feel like that is maybe a little bit
outside of the spirit of the question, just a little bit.
Speaker 2: Obviously it's not.
Speaker 1: But it's like if I were to go with like
a traditional one that you like, I don't know, I.
Speaker 2: Like craps or whatever.
Speaker 3: The thing with poker doing Texas hold them is that's
a bit of a commitment. Yes, right, it's a little scarier.
You kind of get in there and you gotta sit
in blackjack. You can come and go, which is what
I like. I like blackjack for that lot.
Speaker 2: Blackjack. You can also increase your odds a ton.
Speaker 3: Yes, you can increase your odds, and but there's also
a buy the book way to play it, so you
don't have to be you know, it's it's a bit
more chill. You're probably going to lose your money. It's
designed to do that, but you lose your money much
more slowly than you would on the slots or a
lot of other things. You could sit there and order
your free drinks and maybe socialize a little bit with
the people at the table and have a good time.
Speaker 1: Craps.
Speaker 3: I think I said before I knew how to play
craps when I was seven because my buddy's birth My
buddy's dad was I think a gambling addict, and he
had us playing craps at his birthday party.
Speaker 1: It was a great time.
Speaker 3: Don't remember how to play craps though, but at one
point I knew how that works.
Speaker 1: You a roulette guy at all. I'll play roulette, sure, yeah,
I mean that's definitely the one where it's like, well,
it's clear what's happening here, although I obviously there's more
to it than just getting the number right or whatever.
Speaker 2: But uh yeah, I'll play some roulette.
Speaker 3: It could be fun, And that's not one of the
community aspect of it. Is it's a good time. You
are you like, are you just gonna pick your number
and go for it? Do you try to play one
of the colors?
Speaker 1: Always? I would always hedge with one of the like
we're just putting something on black or something like that. Yeah, yeah,
I feel pretty strongly it's blackjack.
Speaker 2: I think it's just versatile and it's chill.
Speaker 1: Yeah, I I blackjack is is probably the right one
because uh yeah, I saw that's a good point that
like Poker's game you played at home, it's a card game.
Speaker 2: It's played everywhere.
Speaker 1: Black Check is a casino card game, and it's kind
of like probably the George Washington on the on the
Mount rushmore of those. So yeah, I would I would
take I would go for black check.
Speaker 2: That's good. All these people chat saying Russian Roulette, Yeah,
very funny. Casino in my basement plays that.
Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, we're shaking the hat. People get a
video game one, maybe more will jump out.
Speaker 2: Maybe I did shake it very vigorously that one time.
All right, next up here, Oh this is this is
a fun one.
Speaker 1: Okay, what is the greatest Mario sixty four star of
all time? The best, most interesting, most fun, most memorable
star to.
Speaker 2: Collect and Super Mario sixty four.
Speaker 1: You know, we filmed that thing recently at SGF with
where we had a lot of people racing to do
the coop of the quick star that hasn't come out yet,
but that's that's definitely one of the most memorable early ones, right.
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's and it's good.
Speaker 1: It's you know, the reason I picked that is it's straightforward.
People understand what they need to do, and you don't
have to actually adjust the camera all that much.
Speaker 2: So it's kind of the camera just follows you.
Speaker 1: And that's nice that one's up there for me, for sure.
I like the I like the secret slide. I always
like the secret slide of like being able to go
upstairs and find that and jumping through the window thing
and then yeah, and then there's two stars in there.
But you know, I don't know which one I would
go with, but yeah.
Speaker 2: I like that.
Speaker 3: That's good. The Penguins probably the Penguins is probably more
iconic than that.
Speaker 2: Oh it's the Penguin race is more iconic.
Speaker 3: Yes, like the Penguin Race I think is a super
top contender for sure. I like Thomp, Like the first
Swamps Fortress one, we actually go up and fight swamp, right, Yeah,
I forget that's first one, but the more you go
when you fight the swamp, that one's really good.
Speaker 2: Yeah.
Speaker 1: Hot Footed into the Volcano you remember that one. Yeah, Yeah,
it's basically just trying to get yeah, yeah, you're trying
to like run run through that level and the wall
was kind of overtaking all the platforms. You kind of
to time it, but then you got to get inside
the volcano and it takes you into like a secret
level or whatever.
Speaker 2: I like that one a lot.
Speaker 3: Gosh, when we just get the Baby Penguin's iconic as well, right,
the Penguin ones stand out really strongly.
Speaker 1: I guess maybe the Baby Penguin one could be. It
like that one's that one is like a meme at
this point. It's and and it's still actually fun.
Speaker 2: I like it. Yeah, I don't know, I don't know.
What are you thinking.
Speaker 3: I'd be Penguin Race. Penguin Races one's fun character to it.
Speaker 2: I'm I'm with you.
Speaker 1: I like Penguin Race a lot, And you're right if
I like, think about Mario sixty four, I'm probably thinking
that and like the first two or three stars like immediately,
So yeah, that can that can be just Sean Sean.
Speaker 3: Brought up in chat the when you can the one
was chip off the old block where you're supposed to
hit that corner. Yes, I can get the star, but
you can do it without the cannon if you're a
speed runner. And that's like one trick I need to
pull off at least one time in my life. So
I need to do cannon lists, right, I like the
I like the speed run tricks that are like iconic
that like cannon lists and Iceless and Mega man X
and things like that. Yeah, that's cool, all right, then
there you go. The best one sixty four star is
the Penguin Race. I like it, very good. Lots of
good stars and that one. All right, shaking up the
hat again, everybody, let's do what we got now. I'm
going out the top one stuck to it. But this
is similar another new one I just threw in there.
What is the best the ten sixty four multiplayer game
of all time?
Speaker 1: Oh? Okay, so the ones like that are obvious, like
Mario Kart, GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Smash Brothers. But there's definitely
a lot of good multiplay games on there.
Speaker 2: Yeah.
Speaker 1: I like Mario Party. I do.
Speaker 2: I always have fun playing Mario Party.
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'm not it's not the best multiplayer game
on the N sixty four though.
Speaker 2: It's not like that. It's just not. It's fine, that's great, like,
but it's not.
Speaker 3: I'll just say I like if you said, hey, we're
going to play some blank on sixty four, and you
said Mario Party two that is maybe the one I
would get most excited to do.
Speaker 1: That's fine, but you're wrong, right, Yeah, it's just yeah,
like Mario Tennis. Yeah, that's like a better multiplayer game that.
Speaker 2: Tennis is pretty good. It's really good. Okay, So I
do think the one.
Speaker 3: I think it has to be one of the four
player ones because that's kind of an important iconic aspect
of it.
Speaker 2: I agree with that.
Speaker 1: Yeah, so Mercy Mercy, No Mercy is actually what I
was going to say next. Yes, I kind of feel
pretty good about No Mercy. Yeah, that one's kind of
got got it all.
Speaker 3: Yeah, I do want to play some more Golden im
most Player now that I understand that game a bit.
Speaker 2: More, finally at this point in my life, So they
will do. That's it.
Speaker 1: What about Okay, this Stark Horse, this is one I
really like. It's not competitive, it's four player co op
Gauntlet Legends. That's cool. It's fun, for sure, that's really good.
Speaker 2: I like that. I'm you know, I played more of
the Dreamcast one because I'm a sicko for that.
Speaker 1: But sure, yeah, it's the same game. Though, and it
was really good sixty four, Like like that game Sash
Burs is great.
Speaker 3: I just you know, I like Melee more, but Smash
Bross is definitely one of the best.
Speaker 2: For sure. I probably played more Melee or more Smash
person a lot of these.
Speaker 1: I kind of like, no mercy, I'm yeah, I'm Mario
Tennis or no mercy.
Speaker 2: So should we just go with no mercy? Let's go
with no mercy sixty four.
Speaker 3: There's all those characters to play in, just all the
different modes, all.
Speaker 1: The different modes exactly. You can like really have a
whole night with that, for sure.
Speaker 2: Yeah it's yeah, it's a good time.
Speaker 3: Okay, cool, that's got some more in here, everybody, don't
worry gets Let's get pick one from the bottom this
time a little different guy one here. These are all
like half uh folded sticky notes of some of them
are like closing each other. What is the greatest another
new one? Zeuda freak of all time favorite? I mean,
I guess you don't doesn't have to be a little
Zoda freak. But when I say zea freak, I love
free You know who the freakiest one is?
Speaker 1: By far? I think Okay, Well, I love Tingles, so
I want to hear what you're gonna say.
Speaker 3: Tingles a freak for sure, He's like Tingo looks like
fucking Mickey Mouse compared to that fucking weird bird.
Speaker 2: With the human face and Twilight Princess.
Speaker 3: Oh sure, yes, you find in every dungeon oko.
Speaker 2: Ok Cuckoo, God, I can't that sounds right? Oh?
Speaker 1: Uku God cuckoo is a I mean, I always I
if I say, it's gotta such a negative connotation as
going to sound mean and hateful, But Uku is freaky
just kind of scares the shit out of me. Right, Okay,
the stick might cause that. The titty chicken I'm supposed
to be the tit rascal, he is the tit rascal
bot step off his turf? Does that make Does that
make Uku the greatest Zelda Freak?
Speaker 2: I don't know.
Speaker 3: He's definitely he's the freaky at Zelda freak, which maybe
isn't the same thing as the greatest right.
Speaker 1: Uh yeah, I mean it's it's up there like I
don't think it's like out of contention or something like that.
Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 3: There's a lot of just swiley Princess characters that look
kind of freaky, like that kid Mallow or Baylo or whatever. Yeah, yeah, right,
he just looks for the baby who runs a shop.
He looks Boss Baby, right, they have boss Baby in
that game before Boss Baby. I mean, you know, I
think actually skull Kid has a really good chance here.
Speaker 1: Skull Kid, for sure, he is like just he's a
little freak, like that's his whole vibe. Yeah, just a
freaky little guy and living in the wood like a freak.
Speaker 2: Yeah he has yeah, he has like story importance. Later
he messes with you. Yeah, yeah exactly. Yeah yeah.
Speaker 1: So I'm like, like, how do you feel about geara
him or what however you say his name.
Speaker 3: Just like oh he was really I actually am still
mad because when they first showed the trophy that game,
I thought it was Body from Minished Cap.
Speaker 2: Sure, okay, you have a grudge.
Speaker 3: I have a grudge because it turned out to not
be Vody Okay, etso or whatever.
Speaker 2: The hat from Minished Cap. That's a little freak for sure.
Speaker 1: I like the fishman from wind Waker, like the guy
like the fish that give you the map with the face.
Speaker 3: Oh yeah that one says hoy, Yeah, yeah, that's a
good little freak too. That's do you remember Kilton from
Breath of the Wild, the monster researcher. Yes, looks like
a monster. Yes is a monster which very creepy looking
for sure. But it's all sorts of fun little freaks.
Oh yeah, I mean yeah, uh, Tingles pervert vibes hurt
him a little, I think, I mean.
Speaker 2: I don't know, does it. I mean that to me,
it's like the from part of being a freak.
Speaker 3: It's part of being a freak as being a pervert.
I mean, it's all kids a pervert.
Speaker 1: It's because he's all like, he's like, what makes him
a pervert? Because he's thirty five.
Speaker 3: He's thirty five and dressing like children and talking about
how much he wants to be a kid in a fairy.
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, look, some to each their own, all right.
He's not hurting anybody as far as you're aware, Like you.
Speaker 3: Know, right, Also like that video game where he's looking
for love or whatever.
Speaker 2: I guess freaks deserve love too.
Speaker 1: Yeah, even the f and he's he's a capitalist freak though,
because Tingles rosy rupy land So.
Speaker 2: Yeah, sure, yeah, for sure. I like skull Kid. Most
skull Kid is pretty good. That's I like that quite
a bit.
Speaker 1: If it's not gonna be fish Man or whatever his
name is, I'll go with skull kid. I think he's
not he's not. He's almost kind of respectable to fish man.
Like he's kind of the adult in the ocean.
Speaker 2: That's fair.
Speaker 1: Yes, it's like and it's like he is a fish
in the water. It's that's not freaky, that's normal.
Speaker 2: Yeah, he's just too his What about error error?
Speaker 1: I am air, that's just a person. All right, let's
go back in here. That's try for a few more.
Speaker 2: I think. Let's see. Uh, I got good on her here.
I can feel it. I can feel it.
Speaker 3: Jeff, Oh, what is another new one? A lot of
the new ones are popping up. What is the greatest
NFO logo of all time?
Speaker 1: It's not.
Speaker 3: The browns our logo is just a football helmet. We
got nothing. We don't have a single sense of whimsy.
Yeah in us right, I mean not a one.
Speaker 2: Okay.
Speaker 1: The old creamsickle orange Tampa Bay Buccaneers pirate.
Speaker 2: Let me see, uh, the old buccaneer look creamsicle, creamsicle
Tampa Bay. You'll get it, creamsicleed Tampa. I mean they're flagging.
Speaker 1: Oh this got Oh this guy is sexy, right right,
he wants to have This guy's winking at me. It's
just the NFL logo equivalent of like Naula's fuck me
eyes and the Lion King.
Speaker 2: That's right.
Speaker 1: Yeah, he's he's trying to like win you over. He's ay, yeah,
he's a no a near do well but with a
heart of gold. Yeah, he's got in his mouth. It's
a lot, man, geez. I always like that dolphin, the
Miami Dolphins. I think they maybe made that.
Speaker 3: Worse also in recent years. I can't remember, but yeah,
it looks cool.
Speaker 1: I also like the old New Glean Patriots logo where
it's just like a minute fan guy and yeah, kind.
Speaker 2: Of like get ready to hike the ball or whatever.
Speaker 1: Do you have to say, I don't know how much
Peyton cares about football. Do you have to say the
New Orleans New Orleans Saints if if she's a fan
of the Saints or whatever.
Speaker 3: I mean, she's definitely is a fan of the Saints.
I mean they just have that symbol.
Speaker 2: Yeah, the Fleur de lys.
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's yeah, it's good. You're gonna be in New
Orleans in a couple of weeks. Might be careful, don't
say better symbol, right, yeah, yeah, that'll go over about
with my tupac joking Now, apparently the Raiders, that's fine.
Speaker 2: Another pirate. Actually it's not even as good as the
other pirates.
Speaker 3: Never mind, it's not as good as the pirate flag
or the old pirate one. Yeah, I like how I
like how sharp the Seahawks logo is.
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a good one.
Speaker 1: I do always like the Seahawks, although it's maybe too
skinny vertically.
Speaker 2: I don't know. I kind of like the skin the
vertical skinny.
Speaker 1: I don't hate it.
Speaker 2: I don't know.
Speaker 1: Yeah, we can go with this. This, uh, the the
sexy Buccaneers. I think it's the sexy Creamsickle Buccaneer.
Speaker 3: Okay, we can do that, right, best NFL logo is
the sexy Creamsickle.
Speaker 1: Red made.
Speaker 2: Faked? All right? Yeah, shout out to the Lions. They
have had some good logos, but not the best.
Speaker 3: Alrighty, next up here? What is the Greatest Man? Another
new oneother one? Here we go, ice cream truck treat. Okay, time, man,
I am killing for one of these. I have not
had the ice cream truck visit me, Jess, yet I
might need to just go buy something somewhere.
Speaker 1: Okay, So there are some iconic ones, right, the Mickey
Mouse with the fucked up eyes.
Speaker 3: Well, it's not usually I don't even see the Mickey
as often as I'll see Sonic or SpongeBob.
Speaker 2: Yes, yes, these days, that's yes.
Speaker 1: But I'm not frequenting ice cream trucks that much as
an adult anymore.
Speaker 3: So, Oh, yeah, it's been it's Sonic, Sonic and SpongeBob.
I've taken over that.
Speaker 1: No, I'm aware the Yeah, I'm just saying, all time iconic,
I think of Mickey Mouse. I know bigger now I
don't even know Mickey Mouse had one of those Mickey
Mouse to me, is the Mickey Premium bar that you
get in the and grocery store.
Speaker 2: That's some more of a chocolate vanilla thing.
Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, we have Michigan When I was young, Yeah,
that was. It was always Mickey mask that was fucked up.
Speaker 3: Yeah, it either non character ones. Are you a Choco
Taco guy?
Speaker 4: I love?
Speaker 1: Yes, Choco Taco is like the one novelty Christmas or
Christmas Jesus ice cream treat. It was cold, so my
brain went with Christmas Mike, that's how tired I am.
Chaco Taco is the one where it's like, oh yeah,
I don't necessarily love ice cream and my teeth being cold,
but I'll do it for a Choco taco.
Speaker 3: Choco Taco keep for good. A classic drumstick sometimes that
I just like. I like anything with a cone is
a pretty good uh.
Speaker 1: I like a good rocket pop. I'll take a rock
get pop.
Speaker 3: I almost just bought a rocket Pop, like, yes, yeah,
I must just bought like a box of generic rocket
pops at all the other day, and I was like,
if I buy these, I'm gonna eat them and that's
probably good for me.
Speaker 2: Should we just go two for two and just give
it to creamstickle again? That's funny, right, I'm not the
biggest creams Maybe I don't.
Speaker 1: I don't dislike them, but yeah, I'm never gonna be
picking them out of the lineup or whatever.
Speaker 3: Even as a kid, I didn't like those Strawberry pops
because they had the little pieces of.
Speaker 1: Push pop.
Speaker 3: BIKE associate more with like a freezer treat than a
truck tree, saying yes.
Speaker 1: That's a that's a freezer treat. At the neighbor's house.
Is how I think about.
Speaker 2: That, Mike.
Speaker 1: It might just be bomb pops, It might just be
I mean, those are I mean, I are great.
Speaker 2: I always like the Sonic. I like the Sonic with
the fucked up eyes.
Speaker 3: I guess I don't know what that shit is. I
think calling it ice cream is maybe not true. Whatever
that ship is, it's delicious.
Speaker 1: A novelty to like frozen dessert is what they call them.
And that's fine with me.
Speaker 2: You're right, you're right.
Speaker 3: It's it's Sonic, all right, A fucked up sonic ice
thing wins best ice cream truck tree.
Speaker 1: Shall we do one more, Jeff? One more please, Mike?
Speaker 3: All right, let's get in there. Let's see what we
got right again. We got a lot of the new
ones I put in. There's definitely some water ones in here.
That's another one on.
Speaker 1: The new ones. And this is a one for Jeffy's.
Speaker 3: You know we had that iron made in one earlier.
This is one for you, by the way. You should
you should. I think you should just sped out those
gumballs anymore in the Sonic things. Like the last five
times I tried eating them, they kind of just disintegrate
into a dust.
Speaker 2: They don't turn into gum anymore. Really, Yeah, that's awesome.
Probably probably not good for you, all.
Speaker 1: Right, gro What is the greatest d DR song of
all time?
Speaker 4: Oh?
Speaker 1: Okay, okay, so let me see if I can, because
I'm not great at remembering something, bring up the one
I play the most and see if I can see
what they are called on there. I mean, there was
the one where they did have Sandstorm by d Rude,
and that was that was pretty good to do that
for the first time on there.
Speaker 2: That's what I think.
Speaker 1: That's actually where I heard that song for the first time.
Otherre's okay, Boom Boom Dollar. That's a fun name. I
think it's from DJ King Kong. Yeah that's yeah, Okay,
that looks right. That one is from like the original
game and would keep popping up. Boom moom Dollar is
up there.
Speaker 2: Yes.
Speaker 1: Captain Jack is another great one. It's like got like
a military theme to it, and it's fun to like
sort of do the marching movements when you're doing the dance.
That one's up there, for sure. I don't know if,
like any of the Boss songs are gonna be my favorite,
even though they're very iconic. People are saying Max three
hundred for sure, Yeah, I got I think I would
probably just go with Captain Jack. Captain Jack is a
good one. Last La La or Butterfly and Chat I'm seeing, Yeah,
Butterflies is fantastic as well. Yes, but check though I
like it, Captain Jack is I always to me, I
don't know. I would always play those songs back to back,
and I was always more excited about Captain Jack.
Speaker 3: All right, then, grow Here's what we did out of
the hat today. Best Iron made an album is Power Slave.
The best casino game is Blackjack. The best Martin sixty
four stars the Penguin Race. The best n sixty four
multiplayer game is No Mercy. The best Zelda freak is
skull Kid. The best NFL logo is the Sexy Creamsicle
Red Mage Buccaneer. The best ice cream truck treat is
Fucked Up Sonic Ice Thing. The best DDR song is
Taptain Jack.
Speaker 1: A shout out to that the Beethoven remix that would
always pop up in those games as well, that was
a good one as well.
Speaker 3: Man, I think all these but casino games were ones
I put in today. So man, they all really floated
up to the watch you shake the hat. You shook
the hat like crazy. I'm shaking like crazy.
Speaker 1: So all right, I had to go on under those
I O. Yeah, well done, Mike. I appreciate it, Thank
you hat. All right, let's go ahead and take one
more break. When we come back, we'll talk about what
we've been playing, clean up some super chats, and get
on out of here.
Speaker 2: Cool cool, cool cool cool.
Speaker 1: All right. Uh, I think Christian's got some uh unfinished
business between Mike and I about the PlayStation state of
play where we did a buy and sell you added
everything up. I appreciate that, Christian, I don't know. Tell
us what happened there and who won?
Speaker 4: Yeah?
Speaker 5: Yes, hello, Hi bysel Stead of play edition. I forgot
last week to do it, and I did it today.
Tally up the numbers. A lot of you you you agree,
and a lot of stuff, so I just ignore the
things you agree on. But I will still I will
still say who won with three points versus two points?
Because I didn't like I didn't count the ones you
agree on, of course, Mike one.
Speaker 1: Okay, well done, Mike, what actually do you have?
Speaker 2: Which ones? Mike got right? That the three ones he
got right, the.
Speaker 5: Three one that he got right were let me see,
let me see. I did mark them, but.
Speaker 2: I don't remember if you if you want to, I marked.
Speaker 5: The ones because you you say once you you got
like you say sell and I got and buy and
I made the difference. You know, I gave you less
point for for forgetting the ones that actually came out.
Speaker 2: Okay, So yes, I think you got.
Speaker 5: It's so hard.
Speaker 2: No, I don't have the results.
Speaker 1: Yea, No worry about we don't yeh. Don't worry about it.
Speaker 5: The mother and I don't want to do the mother.
Speaker 7: Yeah.
Speaker 2: No, no, don't worry about it. We appreciate it either way. Christian,
thank you so much.
Speaker 1: Mike one again.
Speaker 2: Congratulations Mike, well done. All right for me? All right, Mike,
what even what have you been playing? Checking out the
new character and Overwatch? Uh? Or shy on?
Speaker 7: Uh?
Speaker 3: Maybe shy on. She's a new She's a sexy robot
lady if you can believe. Yeah, yeah, pretty fun though dps.
She's got kind of like dual pistols. The cool thing
about her is like her, she has the ability. She
just gets on a motorcycle and of course she goes
really fast on it. But she can also then shoot,
like get off the motorcycle and shoot it forward at people.
Speaker 1: If you jump in the.
Speaker 3: Air, she can like really aim it, so it becomes
like a rocket basically as well. Ah, so really fun
movement kit. Uh really fun damnaging Bill. It's just yeah,
a fun character. Her all seems really strong. She kind
of like that she has like three charges of dashing
forward and basically doing a mini death blossom around her,
so kind of shooting everybody. So yeah, Overwatchers continue to
be uh, really fun. They've been adding a lot of
good characters. They did that kind of.
Speaker 2: Reboot fifty first character.
Speaker 1: I want to say, maybe you know what's crazy is
I think I heard that Marvel Rivals already kind of
caught up or has about as many characters. Maybe it
was maybe it was Marvel Rivals that that has fifty
one characters.
Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe that's what that is. Yeah, right, so there
they go.
Speaker 1: But Rivals like they had like one like one a
month or one every two months at least at this point.
Speaker 2: Yeah, they're just going and go.
Speaker 3: Yeah, so they have basically just caught up over there.
But uh yeah, and then that I don't know if
you checked out that tether Geist game yet that I
talked about.
Speaker 2: No, I will, though I do have it on my
I have it on my Steam deck. Yeah. This is
the new it's a new indie game.
Speaker 3: That is it's a Celeste like and it's like and
if you think it's annoying that I say, blah blah blah,
it is a blank like.
Speaker 1: This one is a Celeste like.
Speaker 3: It's very heavily taking inspiration from that to the point
where the strawberries are basically here that you collect. They're
flowers now, but they're red. You have to grab them
and then touch the ground to actually collect them. So
it's wearing that inspiration on a sleep and it should
so less. It's a great game and doing a game
in that style with a few different twists and wrinkles.
And the big wrinkle here is that you kind of
have this spirit form on a on a leash. You
kind of send it out and then teleport to where
where that is, and that's how you're doing a lot
of the movement stuff. And it really fun, great pixel art,
great music. I think people should check it out if
they like Celeste.
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll say it helps me when you say Celeste, like,
that makes me want to play it more, and I.
Speaker 2: Mean compared to other things, can you imagine?
Speaker 1: Yeah, I like, I think there always comes from the
sort of like when people have like the real back
when they hear that or whatever. It comes from a
place of like, oh, do you mean you think they're
stealing from this other person? And sometimes yes, but it's
like that also doesn't matter. But it's like no, everyone
is inspired by everything. All these games are in conversation
with one another and being able to spot that, like, oh,
I definitely know this developer played that game and they
got inspired and showed up in their game.
Speaker 2: To me, that's awesome. I love that. That's what makes gaming.
Speaker 3: We would say clone, which was a much more accusatory
term honestly, right than blank, Like so what.
Speaker 2: I remember it's a Halo clone. People say Doom Doom clone.
Speaker 1: That's the one I read. That's what we called first
person shooters for a while, for years, for like two
or three years cl Yeah, and then eventually we are
like all just like first person shooter. I would like
to know, like when those overtook one another. I wonder if,
like I guess you could do it in like academic
writing by searching that Google word search thing and see
when that happened. But still anything else, Mike, that's the
kind of big things I think I want to talk
about right now.
Speaker 2: What have you been up to?
Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been playing more of that Sensory Overload demo,
so I won't talk too much more about it.
Speaker 2: But I haven't mentioned on this podcast yet. It's a
part of the Steam Next Vest. It's a dropper game.
Speaker 1: If you've seen those Minecraft games where you're like falling
through a tunnel and you have to dodge obstacles, it's
one of those, but it's a standalone. It's really well made,
and yeah, very much one of those ones. As soon
as you look at it, you'll know if it's for
you or not. I looked at it and was like,
oh my god, like I can't look away. I also
stopped blinking. My brain is turning off just from watching it.
And then I went to go play it and all
that stuff was turned up even more.
Speaker 6: So.
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's really well done, and I like the
scoring system. The one issue is, so the way the
scoring system works is there's these spinning objects that kind
of slide into frame as you get closer to them,
and they'll have like it's all vaux O base, so
there'll be like one vauxhol block space open in like
the center of like several tentacles coming off, and you'll
like want to go through there, because the closer you
get to the sides of one of these vauxhels, the
more points you get, and it becomes very clear. It's like, oh, okay,
so there is sort of a perfect score on each
one of these stages, because they're not, at least as
far as I can tell, if there is procedural generation.
It's just the order in which the obstacles show up.
But I've always seen like the same kinds of obstacles
at the same point on each stage, So it really
does feel like, yes, there's a maximum score you can get,
and there's gonna be a person who just gets those,
and so the score chasing is not super the appeal here,
although early on.
Speaker 2: I'm having fun with that.
Speaker 1: I kind of can't stop playing the same levels over
and over again because of that reason. But yeah, it's
it's just really well done in terms of just being
a video game, and there's no characters and there's no
story that's not what it's about. It's about experiencing the
sensation of falling and sort of just dodging stuff and
having control over a body, dealing with physics.
Speaker 2: And I always appreciate something like that. The other thing
is like, I did boot up Impulse. Have you heard
about this? Mic? No, I'm not her Impulse Impulse.
Speaker 1: This is another Steam next Us demo, and uh, let
me see. I'm gonna read the description here from Steam
because I'm not. I didn't really play it yet, but
it's one that I think we should try out if
we get some time. Impulse E M p U L
S E is an upcoming, fast paced six by six
movement shooter or a schmooter, schmoover, wall, run, grapple, hollow jump, pilot,
mechs and paint your way through freeholds, vertical streets, outmove
your opponents or get out gunned. Is it a buttoon
Titan Falls?
Speaker 2: So it looks very Titan Fall? I think?
Speaker 1: Is this at ten forty seven? Yeah, this is the
split Gate people's new game.
Speaker 2: This is like.
Speaker 1: So, but it looks like they're just like, hey, we'll
just make the Titan fall, like we like we made
the Halo and I don't know, it looks pretty promising.
Speaker 2: I'm gonna try it. Where's split Kate two? Why does
that not show up on seem anymore? I did that?
Speaker 1: That just was a complete mess. That was a complete mess. Yeah, yeah,
I don't know what happened with that.
Speaker 2: Yeah? Interesting?
Speaker 3: All right, Wow it looks neat. I'm a little I
still have bad I still have like bad vibes from
the make Shooters great again.
Speaker 1: Yeah, that guy really tainted that whole thing. I'm just
like curious to see if they can pull off anything here.
Maybe this inspires even more people to try this out.
But so one should just make a titan fall. That's
kind of how I feel.
Speaker 2: So nice.
Speaker 1: I'm gonna look at this all right. And the beyond that,
I've been testing out some fishing games. Got some seaman going,
got Sega bass fishing. Try that out, but you'll see
you'll see more of that giant yep exactly, fishing weeks
getting ready everybody?
Speaker 2: Uh but yeah, that does a free me, Mike. Let's
do let's do the super chats.
Speaker 5: Give me one one second, I the server because it's
like super.
Speaker 1: Rob All right, well, then I will keep talking that
looks like we just refreshed there, so now we're we
should be good?
Speaker 2: Am I any better?
Speaker 5: You are better?
Speaker 2: Yeah? I had four bars, so it must have just
been the server. Cool h Yeah you switch the server
now we guccia.
Speaker 5: If the audio was kind of wonky for aur little
while there.
Speaker 2: Yep, gotta fix.
Speaker 1: We're good all right.
Speaker 3: Zombie Porn says Mike is right, cap Conscience, stop making
new characters in the games. Enough of these prag Shutter Resival,
chut Quarium, monster shutter ass being bone uh slap. Jones says,
I got a Disney after hours at Hollywood Studios past,
I have enough time to do all the attractions during
the night event. I haven't done a Hollywood Studios uh
normal after hours event. I've done the Epcot one and
definitely usually be able to do pretty much everything there.
So I imagine you'll have You'll be able to do pretty
much everything.
Speaker 2: You're gonna be You're gonna be able to do a
lot we did.
Speaker 1: I think we did it at a Hollywood Studios when
we had the one Christmas time night event thing, and
it it was it was still pretty busy, but we
could still do a lot.
Speaker 2: The Penguin, thank you for joining the Lincoln Tier here.
Appreciate that.
Speaker 3: Tooy Moraw says, did Jason Schreyer bring up the fact
he lost the greatest Jason of all time to you
guys or Finelle during SGF? Jason Fonelli did respond to this,
screaming Tryer and got shit.
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah you can.
Speaker 1: I think if you go back and watch it, you
could see that Jason was pretty upset and he tried
to hide Jason Tryer on there. He brought it up
right before that segment. He was mad at me.
Speaker 3: Ricky Thompson here thinks they're real funny. They think they
can get me. I'll tell you what I read this
the first Time'm like, why this question makes the sense?
I'll just read it. Mike, do you think Black Ops
to re mastered will have call of duty for costumes?
Speaker 2: Let's say it's another word for.
Speaker 1: I was. I turned back and you were like you
seem contemplative. I'm like, what's going on over there? And
you were like, how do I handle this?
Speaker 2: Situations?
Speaker 1: Like what is gone off?
Speaker 2: This question?
Speaker 1: You can't get Mikey two weeks in a row. Everybody
that's right for me once shame on me.
Speaker 2: We'll meet twice. You can't get food again.
Speaker 3: The Penguins does recent dust comment there isn't any drive
to do a Resue five remake at Capcom thoughts going
to them. The ri remix slate is zero is after
Veronica zero got rebooted, then one, then Revelation one remake
is being there.
Speaker 1: I don't know.
Speaker 3: I don't personally buy this whole. Oh, they're too afraid
to touch it.
Speaker 2: Eventually they'll do it. They're gonna do it. I think
they'll do all these first revelation.
Speaker 3: I mean a little surprised they did Revelation one before five, honestly,
but they're certainly going to do zero and then resume
one again. I could definitely see that.
Speaker 1: I think if zero and Veronica go, well, that will
prove that it doesn't really matter and uh, and they
could do Revelation and and get people excited about that
just as easily as they could anything else. If Zero
and Veronica sort of slide in popularity RelA excuse me
relative to some of these other ones, maybe going back
to five and be like this is a main numbered
one again. Maybe they'll do that instead. But right now
I think it'll go in this order and then.
Speaker 3: Five Grubs Legion of Handhelse says, I've been rewatching all
Blake Club episodes. I was wondering if you guys could
do a teer list of all your Blake games sometimes
along live people.
Speaker 2: Yeah, that'd be fun.
Speaker 1: Watching the.
Speaker 3: Batman Dark Tomorrow kind of best of clip thing. May
me nostalgia for some older Blake Club things as well.
Do good to do a little trip down memory lane.
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, you know, there's untapped potential of like,
you know, we are some of the authorities on bad games.
Why don't we just do more bad game videos for
our YouTube channel or whatever. And I think us like
deciding the ten worst games of all time based on
what we've done in Blake Club is something maybe we
can come up with and do a video on that.
Speaker 3: Grubs Legitiate Handheld says Dance Thoughts on a spoonful of
Sun made me dumber.
Speaker 1: Yeah, someone was like, uh, there was a Reddit post
about that recently, and it's like, yeah, if you take
it from the core of the sun, it would be
like a bomb going off.
Speaker 3: Atom Rouse Uh says takes off shirt go, let's go
Pixels and Thoughts says Sega bass fishing is fishantastic.
Speaker 2: I agree.
Speaker 1: I'm we're gonna be playing some Sega bass fishing, maybe
even some Sega bass fishing too. There's a Sega like
deep sea fishing game.
Speaker 3: Well okay, so te Bucket says, here is Sega marine fishing.
Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, I'll have that ready to go, and then
we'll see. There's a lot of fishing games, guys. So
then we have a finite number of inventory slots where
we could try these ones out. And that's it. Thank you, everybody,
Thank you everybody. Yeah, I'll do at least one grub bag,
so keep sending me your suggestions, and maybe we could
try a whole bunch of fishing games during that. Uh,
maybe I'll even do two. We'll see how how we're going.
We have a slot on Friday, then we might be
able to do it. Yeah, that's it. We'll do a
gard bag fishing games next week. Thank you everybody for listening.
Let's see here, let's do the music.
Speaker 2: There we go. All right, I did the math.
Speaker 5: I couldn't help myself and I.
Speaker 4: Did the math.
Speaker 2: All right.

Mike got a point there, you said, you said on
Charter sell and Mike said bye.
Speaker 1: You got a point there.
Speaker 5: Chef you said twister metal cell. Mike said bye, you
got a point because there was no Twister Metal. Then
Mike wad findal Fantasty seven part three. But that wasn't
at the explictations. That was at the KILLI so he
doesn't get a point on the Musha. Chef you said
bye and Mike said sell, and you got a point there.
Speaker 2: Excellent.
Speaker 1: Well then, uh, yeah, that was fun. We'll do more
buying sell in the future.
Speaker 2: It's uh.
Speaker 1: And you know, Christian, if you want to add up
who wins and loses in the future, you can't. You
don't have to. It seems complicated and yeah, but all right, well,
thank you for doing that.
Speaker 2: I appreciate it.
Speaker 1: Uh all right, we'll be back with the last than
ten dogs next week.
Speaker 2: I am doing. It's a busy weekend.

you can watch that finale probably in the morning. All right,
get out of here, everybody, catch you next time.
Speaker 2: Take care of yourself.
Speaker 4: Goodbye, Tommy, is that you?
Speaker 1: It takes the silence will come out. Oh but cocky,
there's so many ways the fun here's you to not
