😎 Summer House Reunion Part 1 Recap: West & Amanda Get Cooked
Amy Phillips is joined by and Deanna Cheng and they break down Summer House reunion part one, starting with the spicy cold open. They clock West and Amanda for lying about when things started, dodging accountability, and acting weirdly chill—while everyone else is spiraling, Kyle barely gets a check-in, and Andy is amused by the chaos (including the leaked dick-pic convo). They praise Lindsay, Ciara, Mia, and Bailey for coming prepared, especially Ciara’s brutal closer and Lindsay's slam dunks.

Speaker 1: Drama, Darling drama, Darling.
Speaker 2: Drama, Darling, and hello, it's so great to be here
with one in all darlings, coming to you from a
Wednesday night, and tomorrow I will in fact be free
from jury duty. Yep, thank you, Deanna. That's the gorgeous
California voice of Deanna Chang and Deanna so happy to
be here with you to talk about the Summerhouse Reunion
part one. You and I have not even spoken, we
have not texted at all, and.
Speaker 3: Bred has gone dark somehow regarding the reunion, like, well,
I guess everyone's just holding it in.
Speaker 2: No, because I would say most people on the thread
don't actually even watch Summer House, so that's half of
the reason, I would say, most of it. And you know,
I'm not spearheading those because I've been in jury duty
for seven years, but happy that I'm coming to an
end of my civic duty because I'm a civic cutie.
Speaker 3: So you are you? Really?
Speaker 4: Are?
Speaker 3: You just brightened up those downtown halls, you know, the
justice really?
Speaker 2: Thank you? Yeah, thank you. I appreciate that. And you
do look gorgeous, So why don't we will thank you
thank you so much? Why don't we welcome ourselves in.
Speaker 3: Welcome, thank you all rise.
Speaker 2: I love when Sierra walked in and they're like, all rise,
but yes, right, that's right.
Speaker 3: Right from Jesse.
Speaker 2: Yeah, let's start with what we started with because it
was so hot. It was hot stuff, wasn't it? Wow?
Speaker 3: A cold open, you know. Yeah, but when you see
a green screen and you see Lindsey Boobs pretty much
out as bending down discussing her pits, her armpits with
a producer.
Speaker 2: You know, you know you got some back backstage, you know,
and you've got a date either're coming in hard with
a March thirty, first, twenty twenty six date, which is
like yesterday right truly, And the fact that they're starting
with them doing interviews for In the City, Yeah, which
we're already watching and now we've seen and now we've
actually seen the exact scene that Kyle was referring to
in that scene. When he came in, he was like, well,
talk to Manda last night, and Manda said that it
has only been going out for a month, and which
when we got the whole family on the line, you know,
we had group call were I was like, I'm.
Speaker 3: Running a switchboard. She was like, all right, patrim in
patchaman and we're rolling that. Come on, we got Mia
coming in with Mia and we have.
Speaker 2: Yes and Jesse.
Speaker 1: Jesse.
Speaker 2: Yeah, she was like she was she was like the
technical director in a news booth, you know, like and
camera one, camera two, switch, camera three, camera two, camera two,
camera three, Kyle, Sarah and Kyle and Kyle. Oh they
had some tight on Kyle his face when she was
reading that statement and he's like, here you go, and
she's like things up, moves so fayas and we didn't
know and inquiring minds, so we thought we didn't see
what is going in and like her face just taking
it in and just her expressions. She is to a
level that I think we all can just sit back
and say, that's our Lindsay.
Speaker 3: You know, she's firing on all cylinders. She knows she
looks good. Yeah, she is just really she is just yeah,
she's on fire right now.
Speaker 2: She is on fire. And that that red dress wow
wowie wow wow wow.
Speaker 3: Yeah, she looked amazing. So now we'd quick question. Okay,
so Kyle, had I believe he was holding a lover boy?
Speaker 2: Was he? Oh my god, you're right, he was holding
a lover boy. He was he was always be branding
lover Boy. Thank you, Dana.
Speaker 3: I to ask you because I like to stay in
front of the curtain, you know, I don't like to
take a peek behind.
Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 3: I like to just you know, just accept what's coming
at me and with full, just open heart. But I
know that sometimes you gotta get us right and say like.
Speaker 2: No, every once in a while, every once in a while.
Speaker 3: Blue too good to be true? No, God no, But
this was a moment I questioned, We've got the lover Boy,
We've got Lindsay and Kyle, Like, is it possible that
this was staged? I'm just wondering.
Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, of course, yes, of course it is okay.
I mean I'm sorry, but yeah, it is totally but
that's okay. But again, again, we this is still real,
This still happened, and everyone is losing their minds. But
also it is possible that Jesse and you know, Mia, Yeah,
they've not talked yet, so like they're all kind of
figuring it out, or they're just maybe they're repeating it
doesn't matter, it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter, I hear.
I mean the second that Kyle's like, huh, and he's
just playing it too cool. However, he did know this
was coming because he had spoken with a Man of
the night before, so he had a heads up. Yeah yeah,
and he also heard from accept it. Yeah.
Speaker 3: And so West gave him that like for the record
tasked you know, just so when we sit down at
the reunion, right, you got it before the thing was released?
Speaker 2: Yeah, right, which I mean literally like moments before the
thing was released. That's the That's the awful part is
that like, yeah, they got a heads up, I mean,
but not much. That's like a week of a heads up.
Speaker 5: Yes.
Speaker 2: So anyway, okay, wait, so I have some notes here.
So Lindsay reads this statement and she's like, and none
of this it makes sense right now? And then and
then Kyle, I didn't realize this, but we had that
nice little picture of him on the ranch with West's
Family's like we're friends. I'm like, oh, Ranch his family
ranch Toronto or something. You remember he said that he
was Wes Ranch. I was like, wow, West sluts that
ranch around.
Speaker 3: Thank you. He sluts his parents around.
Speaker 2: He does, like, you're gross.
Speaker 3: I mean, and I don't know. I went through a
lot with him and Amanda this episode I went through
a lot.
Speaker 2: Yeah, them speak on it.
Speaker 3: I just I know we have so many things to
talk about. But I will say that Lindsay's speech at
the end, I was so grateful for it because it's
exactly how I feel and I've felt. He you you
get caught up, yes, and you start to go isn't
that bad? Or is it okay? And you get into
his vibe and I just we just scream it out loud,
like this is happening in real time. It's happening to
me in the moment. I'm getting swooped into your bullshit.
Speaker 4: You're bullishity, yes, and I just bull shit. You are
full of shyet you are so bad.
Speaker 2: You take women and you use in them for colouit
and you're gonna do it to Amanda and you're not
gonna be able to hand it because you're right bucking
a toddler. I mean, it's like the worst Lindsay impression.
Speaker 3: But I'll tell you, oh, it's so good. It's a
bit of an abstraction, but it's like it's so right.
It is abstract, and the applause is taking the essence
of it like so good. It's the truth of it
is not as good as what that is, because that's
like she done. Yes, it's better than like doing it
exactly pound for pound like this, she does give you
every syllable and oh it.
Speaker 2: Yes she does. She's right, she delivers every syllable with
meaning and like with hands. Yeah, she was like, you're
a cloud chaster and she like did the little hands.
Oh she was killing it was killing me.
Speaker 3: She was great.
Speaker 2: And Sierra, you know, Sierra really began that set up up.
It was like a setup and a hit and a
setup and a hit and then it was and then
and then and then Lindsey set it up for Sierra,
and then Sierra didn't mean any setup. She served it
up and she smacked it down at the end, Which
why don't we talk about the end? Why don't we
continue and during in this because there's no reason to
pussy foot around it when basically West tries to pull
his bullshit and he is essentially saying, I don't even
like know Sierrace here, and I like even really met
and so like I just like we were friends, and
I tried to keep it friends. Like what I really
tried to do, like over the summer in the fall
is like make sure that we kept in the friend
zone because uh, and that was to like, you know,
have rules about like just cuddles, you know, every other Tuesday,
and then like spooning like every every weekend, but like
not like putting it in, but just like kissing maybe,
so like just kissing, and that just means for me,
that means like friends, you know.
Speaker 3: Right, Oh my god, Amy.
Speaker 2: And he is gissing and he's insulting her even if
he hasn't done enough, he's insulting her even more right
there by saying like that meant nothing to me romantically.
What a piece of shit.
Speaker 3: You know, we don't use the phrase cock teas anymore,
and he's the male version of that, you know.
Speaker 2: Wow, wow, Yes, that's such a great point.
Speaker 3: Like what are you talking about, you dude. We watched it. Yes,
we heard you backtracking and trying to not get into
a full relationship, but she didn't.
Speaker 2: Yeah, you're on camera, you're off camera now, Okay, So
whatever's happening between the two of you actually means more
because it's not just for a store line or camera time.
You're hanging out on your own time outside of the summerhouse.
Speaker 3: But here's the thing, Amy, this guy. He sat up
on that stage and he didn't care.
Speaker 2: He didn't care, not one iotas.
Speaker 3: One f He didn't care about kJ He didn't and
what he was going through. He didn't care about hurting Kyle.
I will say neither Amanda nor West checked in with Kyle.
Speaker 2: Kyle I can get a check in part one. I
don't know if he's going to get it at all,
but now I'm.
Speaker 3: Gonna a dusting of a check in, you know. I mean,
it was just there was an even emotionally even on
the inside, like even if they didn't, even if we didn't,
there was not even a how's he doing? As I
talk about sleeping with your wife, you know who?
Speaker 2: You still instead let me crane my neck over the
man who I was essentially with for the duration of
the end of our marriage essentially, and see if I
can get up, get my eyes on this dick pic
and and complain about how I didn't get it. Oh, yeah,
he did. That's what he was probably thinking about that
the whole time.
Speaker 3: That's all he cared about. He was curious and interested
in the quality of the dick pick right, that was
the only thing that gave him that he seemed to
light him up at all, like he didn't care about
any of these people.
Speaker 2: It's like he was he was having fun at the beginning,
you know, because of this, and of course he's making
he's making light of it like as if he would
on a normal day. And obviously that's his defense mechanism
for sure, is to you know, lean into something that's
trying to where he's trying to be funny. And yeah,
he did make fun of himself, and I like that.
It was whatever anyway, I don't say it last. Yeah,
but it was a funny was funny that that happened
the way that it happened. But I think you and
I both agree, you know, revenge peorn or whatever out
there circulating is just you know, you know, not cool.
But Andy's response being like, wow, when it rains, it woors.
Speaker 3: It was just that was so good funny. Andy was
making me laugh this this reunion. Oh my god, he
wasn't shifted into a different gear this reunion.
Speaker 2: Oh, because he's like, I don't even have to do
the work, Like no storyline has already has it done.
I don't have to do the heavy liftings. I just
have to show up. But wait, So getting back to
what we were saying and what you were mentioning about
how he doesn't care, You're right, he didn't care the
whole time he was there. And if it weren't for
the shift in questions, you know, he would have continued
to just keep kind of joking around and laughing. You
would think that Amanda and West were at two completely
separate events by the way that they were composing themselves.
You would never think that they were facing the exact
same firing squad.
Speaker 3: If you were yeh, scaring squad. No firing Squad's correct, Yeah.
Speaker 2: And did you see now? I watch it on Bravo
last night, and then I tried to watch a little
bit of it on Peacock before we jumped on. And
one part that I don't think was on the Bravo
part was when West, at the very beginning before they started,
he was going like this, did you see that? And
Amanda's like did okay?
Speaker 3: Yeah, she was like, don't do that.
Speaker 2: Don't do that. When you talk, don't do that. I'm like,
this is the moment you realize, like, this is what
you did, Like, this is the guy you're with, this.
Speaker 3: Is the level of he's doing mouthy shit like he's
just twiddling his spit next to you.
Speaker 2: You know, he just he looks like kind of vacant
in a playful way. He's like playfully vacant, you know.
Speaker 3: So an Amanda looks like despondent throughout this entire thing.
I found her to be amy. Okay, well, where are
we going?
Speaker 2: NOx No, no, no, let's talk about her. That's fine. Let's
go where the Summer House Wins take us. So let's
talk about her demeanor and where we're at with Amanda
and her butter yellow outfit.
Speaker 3: In her butter yellow, I mean, the butter yellow look
like the color, what are you going to do? It's
the color of the season.
Speaker 2: I like that. Lindsay's like, I like your butter yellow,
and then they were all like, you know, you're pretty,
and even Kyle was like pretty, and she just looked
the other way. Although I don't know if it's editing
or not, but yes, so she's sitting there very statuesque.
Speaker 3: She almost felt to me like, my honey, do you
know where you are? Do you know what this is?
Have you prepared an ounce for what this? Do you
know what? America? I just I don't know if you
know what's happening on this day as in history. The
only thing I thought she had to bring to the day,
you know that she cooked up that she seemed to
be like going in with this, is that they slept
together after.
Speaker 5: The thing date, after that statement seemed to be anyway,
not that night, not not that night, not that night,
not that night, but like like after the night, night,
the night.
Speaker 2: What a liar, liar, just lying, just liar, Yeah, liar.
You couldn't even stick to your original commitment to say
we had sex after the statement came out. You couldn't
even say pressed send and you hit that as you were,
as you were, yeah, or even postcoital, says Postal, of course.
Speaker 6: Before what a post coital? So eighties it is sort
of postpar It's giving like one of those parties where
you put your keys in the bucket and then like
it's some sort of swingers party.
Speaker 3: Yeah, right, Yeah, it is giving. It's giving a very
hairy chest and down the bye like a guy who's like.
Speaker 2: And then like and the gals like in a silky robe,
and she's like, yes, when we'll post coital, I love
to have a virginae limbs. Yeah, it's very very bad. Uh,
but we digress.
Speaker 3: Yeah, so she she was very under prepared. In my
humble opinion, I don't think she came with anything. Which,
you know, it's almost like there's Raquel and you know,
I have to mentally put them up against each other because.
Speaker 2: Like, sure, it's a very similar thing. I felt the
same vibe. I felt like the vander Pump Rules Reunion,
similar vibe when they first started. I'm like, oh my god,
I'm getting like scanned of all vibes right now because
the intensity. But yeah, so you're putting them next to
each other, Raquel.
Speaker 3: Falling next to each other. Raquel is dim. That's a
fact of the matter.
Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, yeah, I mean I won't I absolutely yeah.
Speaker 3: She's not firing on all cylinder.
Speaker 2: The light bulb isn't totally out. We're not saying that.
Speaker 3: No, it's not just on dim, but it's just on
basically a yeah, it's a pilot light.
Speaker 2: It's it's a flickering candle that's on its last week.
But yes, AnyWho, well, we don't need to drag Raquel tonight,
let's know, but let's start on. Let's start on.
Speaker 3: But Amanda is not like I don't think she's you know,
I don't really think about her intelligence, but she is
a person in the world, and she is like just thoughts.
You know, she's she can articulate herself, she can move
about the cabin, she can have conversations like she's with
the program on the you know, and I thought she
wasn't with the program. I'm like, either she's drugged out
of her mind or she deeply underestimated, Like I think
somewhere in her she thought people were going to be like, yeah,
we all have kind of gone through something like this.
Speaker 2: Can you imagine? No, Oh my god, I you know,
I do always wonder about the intensity of these reunions
and what they do to help them along, you know,
chemically speaking, And honestly, I part of me really doesn't
blame them, because if I was in her shoes, I
would not be able to withstain that type of stress.
Speaker 3: So no, I really bring me down a little, but
I still have to be able to speak and communicate
some clear thoughts about whatever, why I'm here and what
everybody's upset about, which I just don't think she had
any game plan. Did you feel she had a game plan?
Speaker 2: I do not feel like she had a game plan
at all. I don't think that she even well, I
think she thought she had a game plan, which is
what she said at the very top, and that was it.
There were actually I apologize. There were two things. Part
of the game plan was a say at the top,
say I am here to take accountability and to apologize
to Sierra and Kyle. And the second I'm sorry part
b is we had sex. We had a kiss at
the brunch after the brunch, and we had sex after
the statement came out for the statement. So those were
the two things. She was prepared to do everything else.
She just needed to show up. All she needed to
do was show up, because she knew that no one
was going to give her a chance and they were
gonna say what they needed to say.
Speaker 3: Gosh, I would have loved to, you know, if she
was my friend. If I was here and she was
my friend, I'd love to have heard some other things
come out of her mouth. I would have loved to
heard like, yeah, the fact that you had were holding
a candle for this guy, and I spent an entire
few summers listening to how much you cared about him.
You know, that was insane of me to disrespect you
like that and to just cross this line that I
know we can't come back from because I am an
awful friend. Like I would have liked to have heard,
I love it a little bit.
Speaker 2: That's like the most. That is a great pr statement.
Here's the thing, Like I would say normally, well, let's
see what happens in the next two there's no, she's
never gonna say that anyway, and she can she because
she's with West right or split the difference. Here's the thing.
We don't know what's gonna happen in episodes reunion part
two and three. I am assuming there's three, so I
would have to assume, yeah, maybe not. She's going to
defend herself, not to the death, but to the end
of the reunion. She's going to defend herself. I don't
choose who I like. I mean, we already know she's
going to say that when it's like, no, actually you
can choose that. You can choose decisions that you make.
She's going to defend everything, and Wes is just going
to sit there like.
Speaker 3: A lump, you know. To have so many lies revealed
at the very top actually startled me to Sierra reading
those text messages where she's like, Okay, so what you're
saying is there's not going to be anything like there's
not going to be a canoodle a kiss, because it's
really getting you know, they were listen, Amy, these two
people did not care at all. They were publicly holding hands.
That's how it all got out because they were out there,
they were right hanging, they were.
Speaker 2: Publicly holding hands. They were publicly and on our TVs
during summer house holding each other in plain sight. They
do not care. They never did. They only care about themselves.
And you're right that text message from from Amanda when
Sierra's like yeah, so there's all this is getting out
of control, and Amanda saying like, oh my gosh, like
the internet is just losing its mind right now. They're crazy,
so gaslighting. Sierra West lying to people as well, and.
Speaker 3: In a Jesse line of Kyle, I mean, these people
are liars. So them saying that they had sex after
they sent the freaking stupid statement, is it's comical.
Speaker 2: No, it is, because they're like, oh, if we can
just we need to have like a bookmark, We need
to have some sort of like foundational piece where we
can say that's when it happened, and that would make
the most sense, right because it would justify why we
would do something because now everybody knows, so now we're
okay to do something and it doesn't even really matter anyway,
because we all know it's not even true. We know
that's not true. Now when at the very very beginning
on this group call, which I love, we don't have
enough of those, but that they were talking about how like,
oh he's so touchy, handsy even all summer, and Jesse says,
you don't fuck your friend's wife. This is disgusting, and
he was like the lies, the lies he turned into
candy bursts right before our very eyes. And then of
course the timeline of it, because Mia even said she's like,
at the very least, it's got to be like the
second week of January, because that's when they started hanging out,
and Kyle's like, you know, he said, at minimum there
were blinds, like blind items going back.
Speaker 3: I like blinds. I like when he said that, I like, like,
that's like non alk toy, like they were blinds.
Speaker 2: You know, there were blinds. There are blinds going back.
Speaker 3: Bine's going back.
Speaker 2: June twenty twenty five, June twenty twenty five minute ago.
That's they would have been in the middle of filming
at the very beginning, so like, I mean, I don't
even know.
Speaker 3: They are liars. They didn't care. And to MEA's point,
who I thought like won the reunion for me? Her
and lindsay like we're just phenomenal Bailey too, Bailey's great. Oh,
Billie got herself another season. Bailey.
Speaker 2: I love you your girl, your girl. She got me
for life life, and I'm a life. I'm a lifer.
I'm a life. I'm a Bailey Lifer from from here
on out. I'm a lifer. Anyway, I may be too.
Speaker 3: I didn't think about it, but I did think you
got yourself another season. I've always liked Ja. She's like,
you know I have, but I've questioned it because I'm like,
maybe there's not much there, but wow, did she clock
in and titties were just sitting you know. Oh it
felt like they were just on their own. They were
they had their own you know, at the table there.
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we were like welcome in absolutely, like we
are here to read Ben He's like hello and hello
and hello, and let's end her back just so nicely
facing him against him all all the whole reunion lovely.
He didn't he didn't know what hit him. He didn't
know what to say. He had he backed himself into
a corner so hard that he was like yeah, yeah,
and then you did that and yeah, that's right, and
she's like, no, that's actually not right. Fighting doesn't turn
me on. He was sticking up for a woman. You
fucking more on. She just like it was, it was
so great, got you And you know what, I was
so mad at Ben after when he got mad at Amanda,
So it was like he was really mad at Bailey.
I was like, that's pretty disgusting because she was Look,
I understand it was like a bad joke, but I
did say, she's right, She's one hundred percent right what
she said. But like, yes, he was so rude. And
then then when he did that to Amanda, I was like, oh, yeah,
he's a total asshole. Like I get it now. And
I didn't know that there was a third but I
think she had a third one in there. But the
fact that she wrapped it up in a nice little
package of like you desiver women, was it okay? Sabrina Right?
Speaker 3: Yeah? Who I was happy not to have I'm sure
we'll have her, but not in the first We're not ready.
Please can I can I have both the bellies boobies.
I just give me a second. We've got a lot.
Speaker 2: It's too much to take in it one time, you.
Speaker 3: Know, time and you try me and like, just but
I thought Mia when she just like plainly asked, Amanda
and I have it written down somewhere, But the vibe
was clearly he's seeing other west of seeing other women.
So you're you're out of a long term marriage and
you're choosing to be a side check and you're writing
and like throwing all your chips. Why you know? And
we didn't answer it, and I was like, no, no, Andy,
come back. I want to hear I actually do want
to hear why I am. I would like her to
answer the question.
Speaker 2: And you know what, that was Sirah's question that she
told Andy in the green room. She mostly just wants
to know why, why, like why did this all happen?
And I love that Mia was so plainly saying, you know,
you even knew he had he had a girlfriend. That's
what she's like, he had a girlfriend. Of course, Wes
is like, well, Actually, a girlfriend is somebody that you
you know, did I did?
Speaker 3: Did they meet my parents? Yeah, come to the ranch? Yeah?
Did she like spend every night with me? Yeah? I
got a girlfriend.
Speaker 2: Did I give her put a ring on her uh
or ring finger?
Speaker 1: Yes?
Speaker 2: Of course. Did I take her to a wedding chapel
and say I do? And she said I do? Yeah? Yeah,
that a girlfriend doesn't make. So I show me where
it says girlfriend. You know, it's like buddy. So yeah,
he denies that he was with this woman. I think, oh,
say her name was Mia, but it wasn't. I don't remember.
But she has a moralta of horse hair tie, you know,
she's the one that made that. And he's like, no,
don't know her. And and that's when Mea is like,
you don't even like he had a girlfriend, babe? Did
you know that? And so with her having to answer,
this is what was interesting. Tell me how you felt? Okay, yes, okay.
So when she was confronted with you know, we had
a girlfriend this whole time, and she's like, I didn't
fully know that. So she kind of seemed to be
a little bit caught. And then the other part, which
a little bit and more a little like maybe a
little bit, she could not a lot.
Speaker 3: A little bit. I think I don't think they expected
the girlfriend to come up, but maybe they did. Again,
I don't think they had any You know, when you're
trying to get an you want to get a job,
you do some mock interviews. You know. There was not
once a mock interview run for the reunion, like.
Speaker 2: But you know, so I think could have had some
fun with it too. West and Amanda could have had
some fun because they clearly laugh at pretty much they're
laughing at everyone's faces anyway, So they could have just
had fun with the mocks. But the part where Amanda
was asked, when you saw that footage of West and
Sierra kissing you, did you like know that was going on?
And She's like not to that extent, And I was like, boom,
there you go, there you go. He was playing you
and he was playing Sierra in your face in the
summerhouse and you didn't even know it. So like when
she had that got I'm caught that, you know mcaulay
culkin like, ah, home on the door, my face is
like on fire from shaving. Yeah, at the door. She
had that like McCaulay culkin look. Well, we all thought
it was because Sierra walked up and she was busted.
I was thinking, Wes just whispered to her I made
out with Sierra last night, and she was like, oh
my god, that's what I thought. I don't even think
she knew at that point.
Speaker 3: I kind of don't either.
Speaker 2: He's gonna him to say ear stuff. So he not
only was like, well, we didn't really kiss that night,
was just like basically, ear stuff. You're grown man, you're disgusting.
Speaker 1: Do not.
Speaker 2: Don't is not disgusting, disgusting in.
Speaker 3: These national airwaves, like don't see your stuff.
Speaker 2: No you're not. It's not funny times. Okay, it's not
funny times. No, oh, it's so gross.
Speaker 3: So he's and he looked dirty, quite frankly to me
on that stage. He looked disheveled. I was like, take
a shower, go trim your facial hair for so get
an outfit, press it.
Speaker 2: Yoh god, I mean you didn't even have the Amanda
can't even help you because you're so cool you won't
even let her help you, like, get a get a
steamer anything, hang it in the shower in the bathroom
when you're actually showering. If you're showering something.
Speaker 3: That's part of the problem. And he had that ZiT
on his nose, which was so good, you know.
Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like the dick pic. You know, it's
the flashytic pigs And is it needed that? You know?
It takes a kind of a certain kind of person,
And I dare I say so sociopath to enter a
situation like this, like a reunion and they're in their
green room together and he comes walking in with the
air pods headphones and then they're like sitting there and
he's got his feet up on the sofa when Andy
Cohen walks in, his fucking dirty ass street converse shoe
feet are up on a couch that's not even yours.
And Andy Cohen, a Bravo Television, not only your boss,
but the host of this show, walks in and from
the same state he comes in and you don't even
stand your dirty ass. Oh you lean against your girl
like she's a chair, like she's a chaise lounge. Oh
my god, gross, Deanna.

like I don't know, if I'm like can't breathe because
I'm nervous, or if it's my corset, and I was like,
it's your corset.
Speaker 3: Yeah, let's watch a little bit and figure it out.
It's your corset, Yeah, it's your corset. Yeah. He came
in with big, like hey babe energy.
Speaker 2: He came in with big dick energy, and he left
with flaccid dick picks. That's what happened.
Speaker 3: But do you think this leg of the reunion, genuinely asking,
genuinely asking, rattled.
Speaker 2: Him at all? I think I do. Yeah, I do
think that on some level they're for sure rattled. I
mean as we sit here and we're like, they are
so disgusting. They don't know how to act in that situation.
So they're just being idiots because they're just a couple
of idiots not knowing how to act. So they're just
like a nervous laughter and like him leaning over and
kissing her was crazy. Deanna like we have to pull
back for a second. We got to look like like
a ten thousand feet you know, angle on this and
look down and say, wait, we're a summerhouse reunion and
West and Amanda are sharing a dressing room. She's not
with Kyle. Wait, why did he just come in and
kiss her on the lips? Wait? What is happening now?
It's so weird, it's real weird.
Speaker 3: And on the other side of it, I do think
they're suited for each other.
Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right, he said, I feel zen. My god,
my god, we're just so I love that we just
can just get on the mics and just be so
flabbergasted and just let them all have it. I mean, look,
I'm not I am no perfect woman, okay, but I
sure as sure as heck, I'm not going to put
my dirty converse up on a sofa and leave them
there when Andy Cohen walks in the room. And that's
how I know I'm better than you West.
Speaker 3: It's just there's so many casualties around them for their actions.
And if you felt so good about your love and
I mean this, actually mean this from the bottom my heart,
no bullshit. Yeah, if this is your person and you
guys are like against all craziness and all odds like
this is we're endgame. We need to see this through,
even if we don't take it all the way to
like till death do us part. This is a significant
relationship in our lives that we must explore and see
where it is.
Speaker 2: That is like the best press statement I have ever Deanna, No,
you aren't killing it, like can we We got to
get okay, Summer House producers. I know, I know this
is not a scripted show, Okay, but like if you
need a producer writer for the show, you know where
to go. You are dead on And you know what
we would actually we would still be mad. We would
still be mad, but we would be like, well, they
they owned it. You got to hand it to them.
Love is love. We'd still be mad, but still and
you know what, they couldn't do it because West has
no balls. West would never do that, would Amanda Probably
if West did, she would follow that lead, which we'll
get to Sarah said about her. But like if if
they said exactly that, that would have been kind of
amazing because even if they broke up in six months,
they could have at least been like we thought we
were in LIVEE Like you know.
Speaker 3: You know listen, who amongkst like you really thought that?
So if you bring that energy to it, and that's
what we're seeing is like these two people had to
explore this and this is what you needed to say
say it with your whole chest when you're getting texts,
say it when Kyle say it. Say it. But they hid,
They just held hands like weirdos in public. They hurt people,
they lied. So now everything that comes out of their mouths,
I'm not buying, no, and I just find it to
be just so weak as you know, spineless.
Speaker 2: Yeah, spineless is right, and they're not like twenty two.
That's the difference when you're twenty two at twenty five.
I'll even throw in twenty six. Shit gets messy, Okay,
go ahead, Yeah, of course it's gonna get messy. You're
gonna do things like that that you won't. You wouldn't
have thought you would have done for this, for the
sake of what you thought was love, and it was
really just.
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's such a stupid shit.
Speaker 2: So you know, but we are of a certain age
over there, even though we're summer housing it up, you
know better, and you've got friends like these are your friends,
These are your actual freaking friends. I mean, I thought
now when Sierra came out of the gates, being like
I was there for you all summer? Where were you?
Said you? Somehow you couldn't find your phone I loved
that when she was like, I texted you, why were
you at West House? I thought that was weird because
you're not answering my text And then you never texted
me back. And she's like, I did text you back,
but it's because Mia put you on a group thread.
You know. That's because a man of like safety in numbers,
I won't have to answer to her directly. So that
was January seventeenth, said Sierra. So that's exactly what Mia
was referring to. She's like, well, he was there for me,
he was checking in with me. I'm like, well, you're
the one who's over at his place. Yeah, are you checking?
Speaker 3: Your saying it? Just say it. But this is a
girl who is you know, taking this chance with a
guy who's dating other women? You know, I think right
now he's dating other women.
Speaker 1: I do.
Speaker 3: I don't think they're exclusive. In my heart, I don't
think they're exclusive.
Speaker 2: No, they're not because he probably well, one he won't
do it, and two he's probably scared to even say that.
Speaker 3: What are you so scared of dude? I'm scared of
you now. I'm scared of your your everything. I don't
like it. So so lame. It's so lame.
Speaker 2: All right, I want to talk about the end when
Sierra really went pretty hard in on Amanda. So wow,
that was good. It was incredible. Now that's someone who's
prepared for a reunion.
Speaker 3: Yes, now that's someone who ran a few mocks.
Speaker 2: Yeah, someone has ran a few mocks. But also it's
not rehearsed at all, because this is genuinely how she feels.
She knows it like the back of her hand. She
knows the case, she's studied the files, she's lived it,
she's been on it for years. And so she could
rattle off that read like we've never seen before, and
it caught deep. Yeah, and I thought you, yeah, you
play with fire, You're gonna get burned. Anything say, I
forget it, right, regret it? You know what? Do you
take me back? You slam your head and face.
Speaker 3: Thank you what you think?
Speaker 2: Thank you so Mike, Phedra, thank.
Speaker 3: You, thank you, Siarah.
Speaker 2: I mean so she said, maybe they are good for
each other because West can be the star and Amanda
will just be that mute that will stay silent. She
said mute. She said it is.
Speaker 3: Well, she's weak. Did She also did say, like.
Speaker 2: Week she said week, she said she was weak, and
she said she was mute. But here's the thing. Those
are attributes about Amanda that Sierra has seen and witnessed.
Those aren't her full characteristics, that's not all of them,
but they're too that she has displayed at certain points
of time as she's known Sierra. And Sierra was like,
these are the facts, they exist, take it or or
show me something different.
Speaker 3: And I think Sierra, you know, was sort of calculating
based on what was presented to her. Yeah, she got
nothing from this girl, nothing nothing, A bland sorry at
the top, but there was not one emotional connection. You know,
I'm sorry, I hurt you that those are bland you know,
chatchypt words. There was not one emotional connection to her friend,
no connecting with the fact that she's done this.
Speaker 2: Ye that she happened. How did she show up and
not do that? I mean, we already knew she wasn't
going to do that, right, I mean, but I need
to unpack this for a second, because Okay, it's almost
like I'm not even giving it a chance to breathe.
How shocking that is because I already expected that from her,
you know, based on what she did so, like, why
would I expect her to come and be sorry about it?
But the bottom line is it's like she is not
sorry at all, and she didn't show any remorse whatsoever.
In fact, she was showing I did text you, I
did text you. It's like wow, wow, wow. I mean,
this isn't really the person that we've seen all these
years on Summerhouse. It's very unexpected. It's just I just
didn't think that this this was in her. I who
would have thought, because Sarah doing sorry? Yeah? No, Well
what did Sara ever do to her? Like to.
Speaker 3: Was an incredible friend to her. Yeah, only tried to
lift her up and support her and love her and
rally her. I think both Amanda and West are takers
take her takeer takers.
Speaker 2: Yeah, they don't give.
Speaker 3: Amanda is comfortable in the position of take wow, and
so is West. And his is a little more diabolical
because I think because I think it's more.
Speaker 2: His tools are sharpened. He's been doing it for longer
in a more extreme way, whereas Amanda's been pretty well.
Like Sierra said, she's a snake in the grass, silent
but deadly. But the moves that she makes aren't as big.
They're just in the background waiting to like rise up.
And that's what happened here.
Speaker 3: Yep, yeah, she she had a very good friend, and
not a kind of good friend, not a not a
sweet maid or housemate, a very good friend who is
jumping in the bed. You're lying, you're letting these two girls,
you know, gass you up and breathe life into you
and get you sorted and support you and like all
of that. You're playing in her face and.
Speaker 2: You know those people who I know. I've seen some
things online where people say Sierra and Amanda weren't really
that close, Like it's not what you think it was.
It's probably more on camera than it is anything else.
And to that, I would say, well, we've seen enough
to prove that what they what they should have had
then was deep enough for this type of thing to
not happen based on what we've seen, Okay, So like
it doesn't matter even if they aren't as close as
we thought they were, it's still is just as bad.
That's my opinion on that.
Speaker 3: On a show like this, everyone like I feel you
could say that about anyone, to be honest, it's kind
of it's like these are all shows and it's Bravo
at large where people have show friends but you're in
it with them, and why are they Sarah's trying to
hang out with her all summer outside of filming.
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's right in the fall, right in the fall.
Speaker 3: I'm sorry, in the outside of filming. So like, what
are we talking about? You know, I don't I don't
agree with that. I think the friendship without page deepened,
and I think, yes, yes, and Amanda found a really
nice thing this year that was was deeper. But Sarah's
crying at the end and in Amanda's face wanting the
best for her, like come on.
Speaker 2: You know. And then also, I know we don't like
to peek behind the curtain. But because I already brought
this up about the beach scene between Sierra and Kyle
and how I said that this is Sierra's move throughout
the season of Summerhouse Has there was a pretty broad,
sweeping like move movement of her saying they need to
be separated. And I do think that's absolutely deliberate on
the part of probably how she feels, but also on
the part of the storyline of that Amanda and Kyle
were ultimately going to get separated, but they wanted to
usher that in so they could move it into in
the city. And so when they had that conversation on
the beach, that to me was like, Sierra is playing
along with a storyline that serves Kyle and Amanda for
not only Summer House, but for their new show. Sierra
set them up. Yeah, this is an I hear you.
I mean, I hear yeah. So what I'm saying is
it's betrayal, like on one level, but then it's also
betrayal on the back end, if I'm right, because you've
got Sierra who is taking one for the team by
saying you should get separated, you should get separated, and
yet now she's the fool because gets separated. So then
a man, it can go be with this guy West.
It's like it's so many more levels when you look
at it that way, I.
Speaker 3: Think that, yeah, I don't know, I don't I can't
get my head around that as much, not that you're wrong,
but just in the in the production of the setup,
because I do align They've been together years now, you know,
and you're watching this relationship. I mean they're not even
speaking in the house, you know, So it would be
my instinct to also be like Sierra and be like,
does it make sense to take some time? You know,
I could see that, But maybe it is a product.
Maybe it all comes together at the same time and
you just tap in. Yeah.
Speaker 2: I mean, I think it's more that because the writing
was on the wall for them, they were going to
do probably, so they were going to do that anyway.
What I'm saying, If they were going to do that anyway,
Sierra was kind of used as a pawn in the right,
as a mouthpiece in the story to move that message,
that messaging across. So again, it's Sierra doing the work,
not Amanda. It's not Amanda coming out and saying to everybody,
I need to get separated from him. No, it's actually Sierra.
He's the one who's going over to Kyle, going over
to going to the friends and saying they need to
get separated, going over to Amanda, you should take some
time away, going over to Kyle. Yes, we talked about it.
You know, you're right.
Speaker 3: Whereas Amanda did do that, like I clopped it a
couple times where she put it back on Sierra as
the suggestion. She did that more than what right right,
where she could kind of SIPs through, right, she could
stand behind that suggestion and been like, I don't know.
I thought we were going to work on things. But
Sierra did suggest that, and you know, yeah, she did
that more than one time. But then you have Kayle,
and we did see him breaking down those last episodes.
I mean, he was having his dirt you know, Robert
Durre's moment in the closet. He was falling apart. I
don't think he's an actor, Like he's falling apart. And
when he at the beginning of the reunion, I thought
it was like a really sweet moment with him and
Sierra where Kyle was like, I was, I'm like bottoming out,
and I found that to be very believable, and Sierra
being like, I actually didn't. I wasn't able to see
that you were also just like kind of falling apart
until I think she saw the show back.
Speaker 2: Oh my god, it was amazing. Now, what a moment.
I really enjoyed that moment, and I felt bad that
Sierra had to take that burden on. To be honest
with you, I was like, I don't want her to
have to bear that burden. She's got enough on her plate.
Because she's very sensitive and she felt bad and I
was like, oh man, but I love that she could
still say she that she's sitting here going I'm sorry.
Was really She's just a beautiful person and so and honestly,
Kyle's been pretty amazing too lately, because you know, he's
on cloud nine. This guy's he's got He was heading
in for a disaster. And that's why when Andy was like,
how does it feel to be like not the worst
person in the room, because that's where we were headed.
Talk about a.
Speaker 3: Twist, nice twist for him, mm hmmm, and not that
it's in come with heartache, but.
Speaker 2: Yeah, of course, you know we love a twist. So
let's end on this last thing, okay, Deanna, Okay, And
that is like the very very very end when Sierra
jumps in and says, West, actually, this is what you do.
Speaker 5: You.
Speaker 2: This is the type of revenge that you would get
for a storyline, because you could execute some thing like
this because you're that good at it and you know
what collapse to you. So she's accusing him of basically
using this as a storyline.
Speaker 3: You're hard pressed not to see it, you know you are,
because I think this is he's he's a journalist, he
knows story.
Speaker 2: What's the lead.
Speaker 3: I think that what we all have to settle into,
and it's it's hard. And that's why Lindsay with her
declaration at the end, was so I felt seen, because
I think we all feel like, damn it, he's got
us again. I'm starting he's I'm loosening up. I'm getting
you know, I'm getting loose again.
Speaker 2: He's got give me that big bear hug. He's cradling
the back of the nape of my neck.
Speaker 3: And I think that he has come into this operation
with a plan. He wants to be famous. He wants
to continue to fuck every person that comes across his path.
He doesn't care about anything else. He just wants to
climb up. And yeah, I think he leap frogged over
from Sierra to Amanda. M Wow, I think you.
Speaker 2: Do feel something. They're like, Wes, what happened? Oh, It's
like one day we're just like hanging out and like
I was sitting on her and like because I do
that and uh, and then all of a sudden we
just like looked at each other and I was like
and She's like what And I was like, do you
like are you like, am I fucking like crazy? Or
like do you feel something? Or like am I just
is that like a bee in my pants? Or like
like what's up? And like the next thing, you know,
I'm like fucking my friend's wife, and so it's like
that's how it goes, you know, like what's up?
Speaker 3: Oh my god?
Speaker 2: How romantic? Romantic?
Speaker 6: Wait?
Speaker 2: Is it true that Sierra and West never had sex?
Speaker 3: Ever? Ever?
Speaker 1: Ever? Ever? Yeah?
Speaker 2: Ever, I don't.
Speaker 3: I don't know the answer that question.
Speaker 2: I thought I heard that or saw that or read
that and I never had So I'd like to know
if if that's a piece of information that we have.
Speaker 3: I thought that they didn't know. I think they did.
And I say that because he clarified that they didn't
fuck once he started pursuing her again this summer. So
that leads me to believe and that seemed like a
big win in his you know, I'm a great guy bucket,
So yeah, that would take me to believe they had
they did. Yes, I'm gonna put money on it.
Speaker 2: Okay, perfect, perfect. And also I think that if you
go to the ranch, you're definitely getting fucked there, you know, period, Kyle.
That is Yeah, Kyle Shure did some why he's so hurt?
All right, Deanna, remind me to remind us to share
our locations with each other, just so weak on the
up and up, you know, because it's important because adults
do that apparently with each other.
Speaker 3: Some do, some do.
Speaker 2: All right, this was so great. Thank you so much
for hopping.
Speaker 3: On to come down, I.
Speaker 2: Know for one of this one of our darlings after dark,
because after a jury duty's over, we won't need to
do these like every single week.
Speaker 3: I know what I've enjoying. Now, I'm into it.
Speaker 2: I'm into it too. Well, we'll bring a back class.
Speaker 3: The wine from dinner brought it up.
Speaker 2: Oh that's great, Amy.
Speaker 3: Thank you so much for having me. Guys. If anyone
wants to check out my podcast, How to Be Less Old,
come on over. Just go to Apple Podcasts and check
it out.
Speaker 2: Yeah, just follow, you know, and request for how to
Be Less Old to share their location with you. They'll
do it. Is they're a problem with that, they don't.
They love to feel young and to know what the
kids are doing and like to speak the language. I've
just I learned something last week from you.
Speaker 3: So Amy, can I leave you with this what's silenial
called a sillennial? What did you say, like a gen
Z millennial hybrid sort.
Speaker 2: Of custom sillennial. I like that. I never knew about.
Speaker 3: Okay, see talking about a ponytail. Oh god, okay, okay.
Instead of calling it a ponytail. Mm hmm, she called
it a no part slickback. No, yeah, no part slick back,
no part slick back. Yeah, but it is even like
it a little bit.
Speaker 2: They just like it. It's true, but it also it
doesn't even it's ignoring one of the most important parts,
which is the actual gathered hair which makes a tail.
Speaker 3: Yeah, right, because you have almost like a mullet situation,
you can have a mullet rider. Okay thing.
Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I'd like to hear what the
millennials have to say about Amanda's ponytail, because that was
a travesty.
Speaker 3: Why didn't I mind it?
Speaker 2: I don't know.
Speaker 3: It was too relaxed.
Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, she was too relaxed.
Speaker 3: You know, well, I am relaxed.
Speaker 2: That's what my hair looks like when I come home
and I don't need to see anybody, and sometimes in
what it looks like when I do this podcast. But
you know what on the couch looked undone.
Speaker 3: Something about it. I accepted, and I thought, I thought
she overall looked beautiful.
Speaker 2: Yes, of course she looked beautiful.
Speaker 3: Absolutely, MIA's no, but listen, I think you're not alone.
I just, for whatever reason, didn't mind the dow and
I'm looking inward. I don't know why I didn't.
Speaker 2: Mind sense loosense. But anyway, MIA's look. Oh loved it.
Oh my god, that might.
Speaker 3: Be one of my and I know it's not. It's
not a flashy reunion look. But that dress on her body,
those feathers, no lipstick, the fact that feathers were not
getting caught in her glass.
Speaker 2: Now if she was like getting rattled and like yelling,
like if a house a housewife couldn't wear that because
they're too amped up. You got to have class and composure.
I love that out. I remember when those looks came out,
and I immediately my eyes well first they went to
Lindsay because the red, but then I saw and it
just reminds me of like nineteen forties, nineteen thirties. Oh,
I just love it, so beautiful, stunning.
Speaker 3: It was so to wear that fabric is not easy. No,
it's not okay, the.
Speaker 2: Way I would, but the lumps and bumps that would
be protruding, and a corset wouldn't even help.
Speaker 3: You know, there is no not enough shapewear to sort
that out.
Speaker 2: But if you do want shape, I have to tell
you though, and this is real, honey, Yeah, honeylove though.
It is really good shapewear and I've used it so
many times during like my cabaret and all that stuff.
Very comfortable. They they also have like the underwear with
the with a little bit of shapewear. They also have
like a shapewear thong if you like you don't want
the panty lines.
Speaker 3: But to me, it's support.
Speaker 2: They've got great stuff, so honey. And also my code
is drama, so go there, do it. Love it all right,
I can't wait for next week.
Speaker 3: Goodbye, got this is so much fun.
Speaker 2: Goodbye Heart Out.
