Speaker 1: Hey guys, welcome back to more entitled family drama stories.

In today's Ripe Stories video, imagine finally moving into your

dream home only to look out your front window and

see a massive moving truck backing into your driveway. My

sister hopped out, smirked and announced that she was moving in,

whether I liked it or not. Here is how I

dealt with my entitled family. Let's dive right into the story.

And the first one is titled, Golden Child Sister Demands

My House In A Jealous Rage, Furious I Bought One

Before Her. So for some context, my family dynamic has

always been completely unbalanced. Growing up, my older sister was

the absolute center of my parents' universe. My mother in

particular treated her like royalty. If my sister wanted something,

she got it. If my sister broke something of mine,

my mom would tell me that I should have stored

it in a safer place. It was honestly exhausting to

constantly be pushed aside so my sister could shine. And

my father mostly stayed out of it. He worked long

shifts and preferred to read the newspaper rather than parent

his children. He just let my mom run the house,

which meant my sister ran the house. When we reached adulthood,

things only got worse. I moved out the exact moment

I was able to and started working full time. I

lived in a tiny apartment, focused on my career, and

eventually adopted three cats who became my best friends. My

sister took a very different path. She bounced from one

terrible relationship to another and refused to hold down a

steady job and eventually she had a child. Her boyfriend

left her shortly after my nephew was born. Instead of

holding my sister accountable for her poor choices, my mother

treated her like a tragic hero My sister was suddenly

the bravest single mom in the world. My mother practically

emptied her own savings to help my sister rent a

small apartment and buy baby supplies, and I was expected

to pitch in, but I refused. I told my parents

that I was barely making ends meet myself and had

my own life to worry about, and my mother called

me selfish and said I had no heart. That was

the moment I realized I needed to put a massive

amount of distance between myself and my family, and I

stopped visiting them. I even stopped answering phone calls on weekends.

I just focused entirely on working hard, saving money, and

building a secure life for myself and my cats. Over

a long period of time, I managed to save up

a very healthy down payment. I was sick of renting

and dealing with noisy upstairs neighbors. I wanted a place

with a backyard where I could set up an outdoor

enclosure for my cats. I spent a lot of time

looking at different properties and finally found the perfect spot.

It was a spacious house with a big living area.

a decent kitchen and a large fenced-in backyard. The house

needed a little bit of cosmetic work like fresh paint

and new carpets, but the bones were solid. I put

in an offer and it was accepted. The entire process

of signing the paperwork and getting the keys felt like

a massive victory. I had achieved this entirely on my own.

I didn't ask my parents for a single dime. I

spent the first few weeks painting the walls, setting up

my furniture and building the ultimate cat paradise in the

living room. I had cat trees in the corner, scratching

posts near the windows. It was my own personal sanctuary.

I decided not to tell my family about the house

right away. I knew they would find a way to

ruin the moment. I just wanted to enjoy my new

home in peace. Eventually, my mom reached out asking for

my current mailing address so she could send me a

birthday card. I hesitated but figured a simple piece of

mail would not cause any harm. So I gave her

the address and that was my first huge mistake. A

few days after I gave my mother my address, I

heard a loud knocking at my front door. I looked

through the peephole and saw my mom and my sister

standing on my porch. My sister was holding my nephew

and I let out a heavy sigh and opened the door.

And well, my mother pushed her way inside before I

even invited them in. My sister followed right behind her,

looking around with a deeply judgmental expression on her face.

My mom asked how I could possibly afford a whole house.

I told her that I work hard and save my money,

and my sister handed her kit to my mom and

started walking through my home. She opened the doors to

the spare bedrooms, she looked inside my closet, she inspected

the kitchen countertops. I followed her around and asked her

what she thought she was doing, but she ignored me

and walked out to the backyard. When she came back inside,

she crossed her arms and glared at me. She said

this house was way too big for just one person.

She said it was entirely unfair that I had a

three-bedroom house and a yard while she was stuck in

a cramped apartment with a toddler. I told her that

life is not fair and that she should have saved

her money instead of spending it on useless things. My

mom gasped and told me not to speak to my

sister that way. And she said my sister was struggling

and doing her best as a single mom. Then my

sister dropped the most ridiculous demand I've ever heard in

my entire life. She looked me right in the face

and told me that I needed to sign the house

over to her. She literally demanded that I give her

my house. She claimed that she deserved it more than

me because she is a mother and I'm just a

single person with no real family. She actually yelled that

nobody even likes me except for my three cats. And well, guys,

better to be liked by cats than by toxic and

idle people. Anyway, that's just my opinion. She said my

spare bedrooms were going to waste and that her son

needed a backyard to play in. I stopped laughing when

I realized she genuinely believed that I was going to

hand over the keys to my house that I had

just purchased. I looked at my mother and asked if

she was hearing this insanity. My mom looked back at

me and said my sister had a very good point.

My mom said I was being greedy. by hoarding all

of this space. She suggested that I could move into

my sister's apartment and my sister could take the house.

She said it would be the right thing to do

for the family. And yeah, suffice to say, I was

absolutely furious. I told them both to get out of

my house immediately. My sister started screaming. She called me

a selfish loser. She said I was a horrible sibling

and that I owed her this house because she had

a child and I did not. And also, I had

no right to buy a house before she was able

to do it herself. She said I was rubbing salt

into the wound of a struggling single mom. I walked

over to the front door, held it wide open. I

told them if they didn't leave my property right that second,

I was going to call the cops for trespassing. My

mom started crying. She sobbed about how my house was

tearing the family apart and how I was abandoning my

own blood. So yeah, she tried to guilt trip me

into letting them stay for dinner so we could discuss

the transfer of the property. Well, I told her there

was absolutely nothing to discuss here. I bought this house.

I pay the mortgage. My name is on the deed.

It belongs to me and my cats. My sister snatched

her kid from my mother. and stomped out the front door.

She turned around on the porch and yelled that I'd

not heard the last of this. My mom followed her out,

shaking her head at me in disappointment. I slammed the

door and locked the deadbolt. The very next day, my

phone started blowing up. My mom sent me dozens of

text messages demanding that I sit down with her and

a real estate agent to figure out how to transfer

the property to my sister. She said she had already

looked into the paperwork and that it would be A

simple process. I replied to my mom and told her

she was completely out of her mind. I told her

I would never give my house to anyone and especially

not someone as entitled and lazy as my sister. My

sister started leaving me angry voicemails. She accused me of

hating her child and she said I was a monster

for forcing a single mom to live in Squalor while

I lived in a mansion. My house is just a

standard suburban home by the way. But to her, it

was a palace that she was entitled to inhabit. I

decided to stop responding. I muted their text threads and

sent their calls straight to voicemail. I figured they would

eventually realize that they were being absurd and then give up.

And I severely underestimated the depth of my sister's delusion.

A few weeks passed by with no direct contact. I

was enjoying my space, playing with my cats and getting

my garden set up. I thought the drama was finally over,

but I was completely wrong. I was sitting in my

living room on a weekend afternoon watching a movie when

I heard the loud rumble of a large vehicle pulling

up to my property. I looked out the front window

and saw a moving truck backing into my driveway. I

was very confused. I stepped out onto my front porch

just as my sister hopped out of the passenger side

of the truck. Two guys I didn't recognize got out

of the cab and walked to the back to open

the cargo door. I shouted and asked what was going on.

My sister looked at me with a huge arrogant smirk

on her face. She announced that she was moving in.

I stood there in complete shock, and I asked her

what she was talking about, and she proudly declared that

my mom told her it was okay to move in.

She said my mom convinced her that if she just

showed up with all her belongings, I would have no

choice but to let her stay. She actually ended her

apartment lease early, she told her landlord she was leaving,

and she packed up her entire life. So basically, she

fully believed that she was going to take over my

home today. I walked down the steps and stood firmly

at the end of my driveway. I looked at the

two guys who were about to start unloading boxes. I

told them very clearly that they did not have permission

to bring anything into my house and that if they

took one more step onto my property, they would be arrested.

The two guys looked at each other, then looked at

my sister. They were clearly just friends of hers who

she had roped into helping. They did not want any

legal trouble. They stepped back and leaned against the truck.

My sister started screaming at them to keep working. She

told them I was just throwing a tantrum and that

the house was hers. I pulled my phone out of

my pocket and dialed emergency services. I told the dispatcher

that I had an unwanted person attempting to force their

way into my home with a moving truck and that

I needed officers dispatched immediately. When my sister heard me

on the phone, she lost her mind. She lunged forward

and started yelling directly in my face. She demanded I

open the front door right this instant. She said she

had nowhere else to go because she gave up her apartment.

She said I was making her son homeless and that

it was entirely my fault. I stepped back and told her.

that her living situation was her own problem. I told

her she was completely unhinged for thinking she could just

steal a house. The two guys who drove the truck

decided they had seen enough. They told my sister that

they were not getting involved in a family dispute. They

got into the cab of the truck, started the engine

and drove away, leaving my sister standing in my driveway

with a few loose bags. As she had grabbed from

the cab, my sister realized her right and all her

furniture were driving away. She turned her rage entirely onto me.

She screamed that I ruined her life. She ran up

to the front of my house and kicked my wooden

porch railing as hard as she could, damaging one of

them in the process. I stayed near the street and

kept my distance, waiting for the police. She picked up

a large decorative rock from my landscaping and threw it

directly at my living room window. The glass shattered instantly,

and right at that moment, a police cruiser pulled up

to the curb. Two officers stepped out of the vehicle

and immediately ordered my sister to step away from the house.

My sister immediately started crying and playing the victim. She

ran up to the officers and claimed that I was

stealing her house, and she pointed at me and said

I was illegally locking her out of her own property.

and that she had a baby to take care of.

The officers separated us. One officer stood with my sister,

while the other approached me, and I explained the entire

situation from the beginning. He asked if my sister was

the one who broke the glass, and I confirmed that

she threw a rock through it just moments before they arrived,

and I also pointed out the damaged porch railing, The

officer nodded and walked over to his partner. They spoke

quietly for a moment, then they turned to my sister

and they asked my sister if she had any proof

that she lived at this address. She stuttered and admitted

she didn't have any paperwork yet, but insisted our mom

gave her permission to move in. The officer explained to

her that this is not how it works. He then

informed her that she was actually trespassing. My sister started

throwing another massive fit. She yelled at the police. She

insulted them. She refused to listen to their instructions. and

the officers told her she was being placed under arrest

for vandalism and destruction of private property. When they reached

for her arms, she tried to pull away and swat

at them. That only made things worse for her. They

secured her wrists and walked her over to the back

of the cruiser. She screamed at me the entire time,

and she yelled that I was a horrible person and

that I was going to rot completely alone with my cats.

Doesn't sound too bad. I just watched her get put

into the back of the police car, and I felt

absolutely nothing for her. She brought this entirely upon herself

through her own greed and entitlement. Also, the officers took

my statement, gave me a case number for the property damage,

and then drove away with my sister in the back.

About an hour after the police left, my phone rang.

It was my mother. I decided to answer it just

to hear what she had to say, and the moment

I answered, my mom started screaming at the top of

her lungs. She said the police had called her because

my sister used her as an emergency contact. My mom

accused me of ruining my sister's life over a simple misunderstanding.

She demanded that I call the police station and drop

all the charges immediately. I let her scream for a

solid two minutes without saying a single word. When she

finally ran out of breath and asked if I was listening,

I gave her my final response. I told my mom

she created this monster. I told her that she spent

my sister's entire life enabling her terrible behavior and making

excuses for her entitlement. I told her that my sister

tried to break into my house, destroyed my property and

expected to just steal the home I worked hard to buy.

I told my mother that I was pressing charges to

the fullest extent of the law and I told her

that I was done with both of them permanently. I

said I never want to speak to either of them

again and if they ever set foot on my property again,

I would have them arrested too. Then I hung up

the phone, I went into my settings and blocked my

mom's phone number. I blocked my sister's phone number and

I blocked my father just to be safe as well.

I blocked all of them on every single social media

platform and I completely severed all ties. I spent the

rest of the evening cleaning up the broken glass in

my living room and taping a heavy piece of cardboard

over the window frame. My cats were a bit spooked

but they eventually came out of hiding and slept on

the couch next to me. Over the next few months,

I learned what happened to my sister through a mutual

friend who I occasionally spoke with Since my sister had

officially terminated her lease and her landlord had already signed

a new tenant, she couldn't go back to her apartment.

The two guys in the moving truck had dumped her

furniture into a cheap storage unit and refused to help

her any further. My sister assumed she could just go

live with my mom. However, my mom was living in

an age-restricted senior living community and the rules of the

community were very strict and explicitly banned young children from

living on the premises full-time. My mom tried to sneak

my sister and my nephew into her unit anyway, But

the property manager found out within a week and threatened

my mom with eviction if my sister didn't leave immediately.

So my mother chose her own housing over her golden child.

My sister was forced to leave and she ended up

couch surfing with various friends. But her erratic behavior and

her constant complaining quickly wore out her welcome everywhere she went.

She burned bridges with people very fast. Nobody wanted to

deal with a deeply entitled person who refused to get

a job and constantly demanded special treatment. Eventually, she ran

out of couches to sleep on. She ended up living

in her car with her kid. She parked in random

retail parking lots and relied on fast food and public restrooms.

Because of her arrest record from my house and her

lack of a stable address, things went downhill for her

very rapidly. Somebody noticed a toddler living in a car

during hot weather and called Child Protective Services. Social workers

investigated the situation and determined that the environment was completely

unsafe for a child. So yeah, my sister was neglecting

the kid's basic needs while throwing pity parties for herself.

Child Protective Services took my nephew away. They placed him

in a temporary foster home where they located his biological father.

From what I heard, the biological father stepped up, took

the kid in, and is now fighting for full permanent custody.

My sister is currently fighting a losing battle in family

court while still having no permanent address and no stable income.

She lost her kid, she lost her apartment, and she

ruined her relationship with everyone around her, and she has

absolutely nothing left. As for me, I got my window

fixed and my porch repaired. The court ordered my sister

to pay restitution for the damages, by the way, though

I doubt I'll ever see a single penny of that money,

but it doesn't matter to me. The peace and quiet

I have now is worth more than the cost of

the window. I'm thriving in my new home and I've

decorated every room exactly how I want it. My cats

have complete run of the house and they spend hours

lounging in the sunny spots on the living room floor.

I have a great job, a wonderful living space and

absolutely zero family drama holding me back. So yeah, cutting

them out of my life was the best decision I

ever made. I don't feel guilty in the slightest. You

cannot reason with entitled people who think the world owes

them everything. And the next one is a petty revenge

family drama story. So for context, my brother is the

family golden child and doesn't like me. He pretends he

does when my parents are around, so I still have

to go to his and his kids' birthdays and give

them presents or I will look like a bad person.

But because he is a golden child, you know, he

will eventually screw up. And boy, did he do. He

had his wedding during the pandemic in 2021 and didn't

invite me. He told everyone to keep the wedding a

secret because I'm apparently volatile. and my sister-in-law is afraid

of me. Which didn't work because her mom likes me

a lot because of my volunteer work with refugees. She

came to our country from Asia in the 60s, so

she knows the difference between real kindness and her daughter's BS,

so I knew this before the wedding. Anyhow, since this

was the first time I could skip giving my brother

a gift and having to drive several hours to do so,

I told sister-in-law's mom not to worry. This year, my

darling golden child brother is too tired from remodeling his

daughter's first apartment. He put three IKEA closets together, and

they cannot have my mom over for Christmas. So my

boyfriend and I are at his new apartment in Denmark,

and my sister is in Tenerife, and my mom called

my sister and I yesterday that she plans to come

over tomorrow. When I told her I'm abroad, she was

furious with me for keeping it a secret. How dare I?

So I said, what, like you did with Arjan's wedding?

And then the gaslighting started. Oh no, of course I knew.

Everybody told me about it. When I asked why she

never talked about the wedding, she kept twisting, turning and

changing the subject and kept barusting me for abandoning her

during the holidays. So I did the same. Kept repeating

that we definitely talked about it and she definitely knew.

She lost it so badly that she handed the phone

to my dad and did the fake crying and wailing thing.

And now my brother is blowing up my phone and

threatening me with slander. I really hope he does, by

the way, because then I can call his mother-in-law, who

likes me, too there, as I'm a legal advisor for

the local county government. I'm just loving the free entertainment.

And the next one is a funny petty revenge story.

This one is titled My Petty Revenge as a Child.

So I think I was eight or nine when I

did this. My family, along with a whole bunch of relatives,

had gathered at my aunt's home And this included several

cousins who were older than me. Two of my cousins,

they were brother and sister, were always particularly mean to me.

One day my girl cousin and I got into an argument,

I don't even remember what it was about, and she

tore up the drawing I was working on. I was

enraged and slapped her. The cousin went crying to her

mom and told her I had hit her. I tried

to explain that she had torn my drawing to pieces,

even showed it to her, but nobody would listen to me.

I was forced to apologize to her, and now my

aunt's house had a common play area for the kids

where they kept all their toys, and the visiting kids'

toys were also kept there. My cousin and her brother

had several jigsaw puzzles that they loved to show off

but never let anyone else touch. So that night, I

lay awake in my bed until I was sure everyone

had fallen asleep, and then I snuck into the play area.

I quietly opened the door. opened up each box of

puzzles and took out just one piece from each of

them and I put everything back exactly the way it was,

hid the puzzle pieces in my bag and went to sleep.

The next day I buried the puzzle pieces in the

woods behind the house so no one could find them.

My crime was not discovered while we were there because

said cousin and her family, left prematurely for some reason. However,

about a week later when we were back in our house,

I heard my grandma talking to cousin's mom on the

phone and then telling my dad about her conversation. Apparently,

my cousins had been throwing temper tantrums because they were

unable to solve their jigsaw puzzles. I wonder why. And

yeah guys, thanks for watching. I hope you have a

great day and I will see you again tomorrow.
