Ep 71: Pantheon S1E7 "We Are You"
We've come to the penultimate episode of the first season of the Netflix mindbender anime Pantheon, "We Are You." Steve continues to guide us and Travis takes his turn on trivia.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is a small screen session, so find a guess about television series.
[SPEAKER_01]: Today we're talking about Pantheon season one episode seven.
[SPEAKER_01]: We are you.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we are Amanda, Steve, and Travis, the three Cassandrists.
[SPEAKER_01]: No one will believe us when we say hi.
[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks a lot of Apollo.
[SPEAKER_00]: Hello.
[SPEAKER_00]: Hello, everyone.
[SPEAKER_04]: As a historian and like a guy who doom scrolls the news too much.
[SPEAKER_04]: I often feel very
[SPEAKER_00]: there's a whole Taylor Swift song you could identify with them.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure there's more than one.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, small screen sessions are Gmail.com.
[SPEAKER_01]: Is your toll free telephone number?
[SPEAKER_01]: Do we have any emails for you?
[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody loves us.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's a day.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
[SPEAKER_01]: Did you have trivia there?
[SPEAKER_04]: I do.
[SPEAKER_04]: I do have trivia.
[SPEAKER_04]: I almost resent Amanda for texting me to remind me.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm fine.
[SPEAKER_04]: All the time.
[SPEAKER_04]: I can do it by myself.
[SPEAKER_04]: But like, because that's because that's the one time at a ten that I didn't text her and be like, Amanda's in my turn.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: In my defense, we were, we were, we were, we had been sending a few texts back and forth and then I was like, Oh, I had to look because I wanted to know, even though I just did last week, that was a disaster apparently and I, even though I still, I still had to look even though it was me last week.
[SPEAKER_04]: So then I said, Oh, you're on trivia tonight, let me emphasize that whatever, you know, whatever I'm feeling is not justified.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you told me you had it.
[SPEAKER_00]: You had it down.
[SPEAKER_04]: I got it.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm ready to go.
[SPEAKER_04]: I watched the show.
[SPEAKER_04]: At one point, waxman comes down to meet David as the server, I guess.
[SPEAKER_04]: The server, David is like, I'm not talking about his mother fucker, but Maddie is there and she is wearing a t-shirt that has an anthropomorphic strawberry on it.
[SPEAKER_04]: So I have trivia for you about anthropomorphic
[SPEAKER_04]: All right, so what is the name of the R rated animated future from 2016 with a story by and starring the voice of Seth Rogan.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, it's so hard.
[SPEAKER_04]: So I see how he is correct.
[SPEAKER_00]: Those like really kinky grocery store foods.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, the kinky is a grocery store food is correct.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's the name of the food.
[SPEAKER_00]: Never said that.
[SPEAKER_04]: Never said that.
[SPEAKER_04]: I did watch it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, it's one of those movies that keep watching.
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, kind of like eight crazy nights.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, am I sure it's terrible?
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Steve got it.
[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know the name.
[SPEAKER_00]: I just knew they were pervy grocery store food.
[SPEAKER_04]: I thought it was food fight, but that is incorrect.
[SPEAKER_04]: It is sausage party.
[SPEAKER_04]: All right, next question.
[SPEAKER_04]: Master Shake, Meatwood, and Freilock, are all the stars of what TV show on Cartoon Network.
[SPEAKER_04]: Not the team?
[SPEAKER_04]: Hunger force.
[SPEAKER_04]: Aquatine hunger force.
[SPEAKER_04]: And the strawberry ice cream, looks a lot like Freilock, which is what inspired me to eat.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: All right, Steve, you're two for two.
[SPEAKER_04]: uh... the claymation burger that comes to life and sings and dance in the nineteen eighty-five savage Steve howl and film better off dead give me the song and or band that this claymation burger sings the john q-sack in this film everybody what's up you want some to you know that band
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, God, is, is, is, is, uh, healing, it correct.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's Van Halen.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: Not Van Halen.
[UNKNOWN]: What?
[SPEAKER_04]: What?
[SPEAKER_04]: You have no idea what we're talking about?
[SPEAKER_00]: I have zero idea.
[SPEAKER_00]: What's going on?
[SPEAKER_01]: It's the most bad shit sequence to just come out.
[SPEAKER_01]: I know where to move.
[SPEAKER_00]: What's it called?
[SPEAKER_00]: Better off.
[SPEAKER_04]: Better off that from 1985 with John Q.
[SPEAKER_04]: Second ever saw this classic 1990 classic fucking future.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, what the hell?
[SPEAKER_04]: No.
[SPEAKER_04]: Where's my $2?
[SPEAKER_04]: You never heard that line before?
[SPEAKER_04]: Where's my $2?
[SPEAKER_04]: No.
[SPEAKER_04]: Have you seen it?
[SPEAKER_04]: That's a weird one.
[SPEAKER_04]: Good one, boy.
[SPEAKER_04]: See, now that that line always makes me think of men at work because it gets recycled, joke, whatnot and men at all.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, not only have a night seen it, I've never heard of it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_00]: Googling.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't recognize any of the, like, the poster, nothing.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't write.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a hole.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a hole in my memory.
[SPEAKER_04]: Your child is empty because you're lacking this black comedy about teenage suicide.
[SPEAKER_04]: There wasn't letters.
[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_00]: I remember a movie called Better Off Fred or something.
[SPEAKER_04]: I think drop dead Fred.
[SPEAKER_00]: You're thinking drop.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, doctor, drop dead Fred.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
[SPEAKER_04]: Next question.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sorry that you are uncultured.
[SPEAKER_04]: Next question.
[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
[SPEAKER_04]: McDonald's discontinued what character in 1985 after being successfully sued for copyright infringement by the creators of HR puff and stuff.
[SPEAKER_01]: Interesting.
[SPEAKER_00]: Is it the hamburger?
[SPEAKER_00]: No.
[SPEAKER_04]: That food, that's a per... Is it the... Is it mayor-me-cheese?
[SPEAKER_00]: Purple one?
[SPEAKER_04]: It is mayor-me-cheese.
[SPEAKER_04]: You are four for four, Stephen.
[SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_00]: Great category on anthropomorphic food so far.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yay!
[SPEAKER_00]: We got one more question, but I don't, I think.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: This is the toughest one, I think.
[SPEAKER_04]: What is the official name of the pill's berry doughboy?
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
[SPEAKER_04]: Wow, that's a name, a real name.
[SPEAKER_04]: But you're squeaky.
[SPEAKER_04]: You might know it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Giggles.
[SPEAKER_04]: If you think of like the product, it is associated with the product.
[SPEAKER_04]: Easty boy.
[SPEAKER_04]: Easty boy isn't good, they're good.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think you want to be a Beasty boy, but he's a Easty boy.
[SPEAKER_04]: We get it just so good.
[SPEAKER_00]: He, I don't know, like you squeezes, you touch his tummy and he giggles.
[SPEAKER_01]: You guys give up.
[SPEAKER_00]: Mr. Gagel.
[SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to be Michael Jackson because the Teehee that he does.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Look at those.
[SPEAKER_04]: Poppin' fresh.
[SPEAKER_04]: His name is Poppin' fresh.
[SPEAKER_04]: His name is Poppin' fresh.
[SPEAKER_04]: Poppin' fresh.
[SPEAKER_00]: Does this go back to the cousin?
[SPEAKER_00]: It's in a can and you poppin' the poppin'.
[SPEAKER_01]: How is he not a rapper?
[SPEAKER_01]: And how is he not one now named like Little Poppin' fresh?
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: How do you do that, ladies and gentlemen?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, good go.
[SPEAKER_00]: I just am so frightened of those dough canisters.
[SPEAKER_00]: I need to put on goggles and like like a special gloves and then the side of you is broken or dropped it for it.
[SPEAKER_04]: No, you're good on that.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's a good movie too.
[SPEAKER_04]: But I'm assigning you better often.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's really good.
[SPEAKER_00]: Better off that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is so weird.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm in the scene and watch it when you're seven so you can have the appropriate nostalgia.
[SPEAKER_04]: So good luck with that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'll make myself a, you know, baloney and Doritos sandwich or some shit and watch it.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll just try to set up my environment like a kid or something.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Perfect.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Good job, sir.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it's so, it
[SPEAKER_00]: What's going on here?
[SPEAKER_00]: So we're gonna not gonna do a lot of body shaming, okay?
[SPEAKER_00]: This guy is what he is.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's confident, clearly he's confident, he's proud.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let me just talk about the, you're not gonna slide with bare ass cheeks on the wooden banister.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not gonna happen.
[SPEAKER_04]: But will you in, you know, this digital realm?
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's true.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, the first one was like, right?
[SPEAKER_04]: Gold bottom because it's not even like, oh, that's all fake.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's all.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's right.
[SPEAKER_00]: And there was even kind of a, there was a squeaky sound when he, like, had the bare butt cheeks on the banister.
[SPEAKER_04]: He might imagine that, but yeah, exactly.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I feel better now, right?
[SPEAKER_00]: It is just the world that he was making for himself.
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's supposed to be based on real things.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so we opened on a snowy cremeling exterior and interior moves and anime catgirls, a gold chain, hockey here that has been attended to you in three months, and not so much of banana hammock as it is a risky fruit salad containment device, the perilous cellophane wrapping of an inedible arrangement.
[SPEAKER_01]: I guess Amanda fucked that fully artist for choosing that sound for our Katie Cozloff, tainting the bannisters he slid down, definitely living the perennial millennium.
[SPEAKER_01]: Our Katie hands a tablet to actually bear it from the boys and the architect from the matrix and declares it's a deal.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Arcadia strikes the keyboard like an ostentatious penis amidst the half-Trump half-putton decor, while Goons from Armando, Yenucci's the Death of Stalin look on.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_01]: Arcadia Cavadiers and American demonstration drone and redirects it to assassinate a potential Saudi weapons buyer.
[SPEAKER_01]: VR Goons and officials lightly applaud and disappear from Arcadia's UI of ours.
[SPEAKER_01]: one of the goons wanted to stick around to watch the enemy cat ladies ignite the neck zeppelin but did get to die by scaning officer who hands off the purvey dudes we are headset to another officer who wants to unsee the hand in burgers as a
[SPEAKER_04]: And they talk about how they know that the time for the UI, the hacker guy, that his time is short.
[SPEAKER_04]: He doesn't know, but they know about the flaw that's going to drive him crazy and then make him disappear, whatever.
[SPEAKER_04]: And as they're talking about that, we flash back to the other guy.
[SPEAKER_04]: And like clearly he's looking at this guy fucking, you know, these cat ladies and whatever he's like,
[SPEAKER_04]: Can you feel, can you feel the sex?
[SPEAKER_04]: Because I mean, what you're basically describing is my life already anyways, you mean I'm going to die but I'm not going to be able to experience sex with cat ladies, by a little earlier and experience sex with cat ladies is just sounding kind of good.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm thinking based on overclocking the good cave.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, so we got a wonky wheel shopping cart and Maddie's narration of the store reminds the viewers of the COVID scarcity.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, by the way, get ready to relive COVID in the 1979 oil crisis here soon.
[SPEAKER_01]: The last year, that's to pass through the street of Formos or due to arrive in the U.S. in mid-April.
[SPEAKER_01]: So guess up what you can.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, Mary says.
[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: like this joint.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, get ready for standard inflation.
[SPEAKER_01]: Maddie says that the shopping list for the singularity wars is pretty much the same, with maybe a few changes from code.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Maddie while narrating her doomsday prepping calls out a woman at the supermarket for not knowing what she knows.
[SPEAKER_01]: Maddie posits that the woman at the supermarket would react to her as the Trojans reacted to Cassandra if she told the woman that when the stock market crashed two weeks ago, it was in a high speed bot trading glitch as reported by the media, and that the explosion and a run that exposed a secret enrichment site was no accident.
[SPEAKER_00]: But I did like the part where she said, you know, she wonders what we know that she doesn't, which is that weird social thing, or it's like you see someone behaving this way.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so then you also get nervous and it's contagious and then everybody's hoarding toilet paper.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to talk to this with Lori's comparison to the Manhattan Project and the
[SPEAKER_04]: the insider, knowledge of that, and then the shock of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so Maddie and Cole believe that you try to use U.I.
[SPEAKER_01]: crash the market to aid Beijing's holdings, and the Israel sabotaged in Iranian, Iranian, Iranian, Iranians, there we go.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're an Iranian centrifuge, and look, it did already 15 years ago, if you search the term
[SPEAKER_01]: That's STUX net.
[SPEAKER_01]: Ellen and Betty are an acronym to clearly deliver breaking news at the supermarket.
[SPEAKER_01]: My TV is only important to the Instant Bag gambling market these days.
[SPEAKER_04]: Maddie Sanchez L was following to take a call so let's say that we're new trend of like people betting on fucking anything like.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, probably market.
[SPEAKER_04]: We'll apply land on Mike Pence's face at this time he's on TV whatever like just the most random shit there's a dated reference for you, but still
[SPEAKER_00]: It kind of reminds me of Guinness World Records like, well, if you can think of something that they can measure and just no one else has thought to do that yet, then you could get the world record.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but it also like is part of the insuitification of everything because part that includes just the commodification of everything and making every moment transactional.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then who decides what's true or not?
[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's a hurry guy.
[SPEAKER_01]: You got fired from his job because Pauli Market was using mapping software from some company that does the tries to do on the ground like where the battle lines in Russia Ukraine and a guy who worked there placed a huge bet that Russia would take this city by this moment on this day.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they did, according to the maps because he worked there and he changed that way.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay, great.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's how everything works.
[SPEAKER_01]: So like we saw the oils, oil futures creating that we don't.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right before.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, every market is this way.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that if you have insider knowledge, you're going to profit.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Maddie snatches Ellen's phone to take a call from David, who warns that Laurie is planning to reveal UI existence to the world.
[SPEAKER_01]: Laurie is recording as summary of the file she intends to reveal about the other UI's when Chonda angered the interrupts.
[SPEAKER_01]: David materializes and tries to act as a mediator.
[SPEAKER_01]: Chonda fears persecution and erasure.
[SPEAKER_01]: Laurie reminds him of the zero-day flaw they're already being erased.
[SPEAKER_01]: Chanda still dreams of folding the newly uploaded under who's a authoritarian wing.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Laurie reminds him that they have tried and failed because they can't directly access them.
[SPEAKER_01]: David says he can find him in 24 hours achieving temporary detente between Laurie and Chanda and Laurie leaves the virtual meeting and Chanda lingers to try to sway David.
[SPEAKER_01]: uh... chondic uses lorry of being over emotional david reminds the hewzer of his over emotional tendencies namely going as bought to the boss's family in a fit of rage and he was not yet to read quite stick chat as expected uh... david contacts his family element and that you're holding proper gear in the car and put david on speaker
[SPEAKER_01]: Maddie says she doesn't trust Chanda, but she's inclined to take his side in this particular case because she doesn't want virtual David to be erased.
[SPEAKER_01]: David tells Ellen that he is a plan that she won't like, and he bids her to reach out to someone on his behalf.
[SPEAKER_01]: We find out Ellen is agreed when we cut to the children's ballet class where she ambushes Peter Waxbin in one of the few public places he visits.
[SPEAKER_01]: She asks for his help, and he tells her that logarithms
[SPEAKER_01]: Ellen says Peter owes David because he uploaded him with the knowledge that he would gradually degrade.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Ellen asks Peter for the UI tracking software, warns him of impending war, and demands he to use a faction to support.
[SPEAKER_01]: To use a side.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Carrie flashes through recovery and recollection montage.
[SPEAKER_01]: When he comes to you, Renee Sian's ready next to his hospital bed to deliver her smuggler
[SPEAKER_00]: She is so fucking creepy.
[SPEAKER_04]: She came just to say that shit.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she hates him so much, and then I said, when point like she raises her fist, like she's going to punch him out.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, straight up.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think Pope has to take her arm from like actually slugging him.
[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, Pope is there to you.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'll tell you where it was.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, it's a question that's like hearing.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, sorry, it's speaking of Pope.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm watching season four of invincible now and in the same voice, what's his name?
[SPEAKER_04]: Chris Dea Mopolis, whatever his name is.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: He keeps on popping up and some other people and I'm like, I really feel like there's a lot of overlap between these shows and more or style.
[SPEAKER_04]: There's just some stuff in common between the two.
[SPEAKER_01]: For sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: But Pope is questioning, like, Carrey told the police a muggish shot him, as opposed to Renee.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Carrey is keeping up appearances because he knows a cast being caught, Hannah lying, and gliding the truth.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Carrey believes he is rear in cast beings trust by admitting to the Sutterfuge.
[SPEAKER_01]: Pope is skeptical, but he thinks he can at least control Carrey.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Carrey seems to be...
[SPEAKER_00]: Getting shit on, not just by Renee.
[SPEAKER_00]: But it seems like the rest of the people don't like him either.
[SPEAKER_00]: But the things he's saying about Cast began, even though he's a little dilulu about like his relationship with them, but they're correct.
[SPEAKER_00]: He definitely would trust him over Renee.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just odd to me.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then I still, I don't think at this point, we know the full backstory of Renee and Carrie and why they hate each other so much.
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I don't know what.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I'm just wanted to make sure I didn't miss something.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'll just get the other day that they're married.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you know, they just really hate each other.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, she hates him more.
[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, yeah, he says, hey, baby when he sees her.
[SPEAKER_04]: And I don't know how much that's for sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I, I exactly, they hint of sarcasm in there.
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, baby.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, hey, baby.
[SPEAKER_01]: Really spread it on spread it on.
[SPEAKER_01]: Hobo Caspian offers his monastic services.
[SPEAKER_04]: The whole sequence is very like what sensory might in all of a sudden ride the freight train with Hobos and he's like, That's far, children.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: Caspin is now a box car child at least they're like hoffin stuff like hoffin fumes There's something like hoffin some cancer.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like all right, if they're gonna be if they're gonna be box car people They gotta be hoffin glue or whatever
[SPEAKER_01]: And got enough, almost got enough.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're feeding the dog.
[SPEAKER_00]: The dog seems okay, I guess.
[SPEAKER_00]: I was worried as soon as we saw a dog.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm very skeptical about this dog because at one point this dog is offered a biscuit.
[SPEAKER_04]: This homeless dog is offered a biscuit by the people he hangs around with.
[SPEAKER_04]: And that hobo dog sniffs and then tentatively licks that biscuit.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like now.
[SPEAKER_04]: There's these people, this dog is going to be all over that fucking biscuit.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: I noticed that too.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it just was kind of this repetitive animation of the dog like moving.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's had slightly to sniff it for a long time.
[SPEAKER_04]: Like we wouldn't know this.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I thought that looked exactly like the dog people are going to focus on the dog.
[SPEAKER_00]: Don't get lazy with the dog.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it was in the foreground.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to save money.
[SPEAKER_00]: that's exactly what I was thinking.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, oh, they're trying to save money there, but there's a lot of people that are focusing on the dog.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm glad it wasn't alone on that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Then we come back to Cody.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's interrupting Lori's testimonial directed street to camera.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, she's in one of the reality shows.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I so hope it was an intentional dig on the Madiverse for Lori to be missing her legs.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what that means.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, famously, Mark Zuckerberg, sunk while it was $100 billion into trying to create something called the Metaverse that he keeps wearing would work and like, everyone's going to buy a fabulous state.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, in the virtual meetings with people, no one had legs.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it was like you're spending all this money and you can't even render legs.
[SPEAKER_00]: God talk.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just floating toruses.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Cody is planning a physical raid of the Norway dark matter box board cube Legion of Doom headquarters to retrieve Lori's source code.
[SPEAKER_04]: So real quick, what we're on Cody.
[SPEAKER_04]: So my first really my new observation Amanda year with me on that one.
[SPEAKER_04]: Here's another one that I don't even know if it's true or not.
[SPEAKER_04]: But am I crazy or does Cody suddenly become like his character of just better rendered?
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, just feel like his more distinct features, all of a sudden, I'm like, oh, he's got like a real face now.
[SPEAKER_04]: He's not just like a blob with an orange hat and hearing, so I'm like, oh, he's starting, he's like, he's got some cheekbones.
[SPEAKER_04]: Like all of a sudden, like they started and they're taking more time to draw him.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, I totally have noticed in this, this is where.
[SPEAKER_00]: It made me, it makes me wonder if the production had started on the first instances of him, and then they expanded him more.
[SPEAKER_04]: So you noticed that?
[SPEAKER_00]: And so then they had, yeah, and then they had to start.
[SPEAKER_00]: Is either that or just like, yeah, he becomes more of a character.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're getting more close-ups of his face to see his emotions.
[SPEAKER_00]: So they're spent, they're half-to-then spend more time on him.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he's also in shadow now.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he was in shadow very often before.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe maybe.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I noticed a change of love.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, you did too?
[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not crazy.
[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm wondering if it's either like a production thing, or they something changed, and then they knew they were going to have to focus more attention on him that they didn't previously or just
[SPEAKER_00]: they have to do it now because they're wanting to show, I don't know, yeah, like more of his facial expressions because we're getting more emotion from him.
[SPEAKER_04]: Right, this isn't South Park.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's not like they're making it up as they go along.
[SPEAKER_04]: They do, right now.
[SPEAKER_04]: And they're scoring one before they get the first line of animations, so.
[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes things change, even after production starts.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's true, not usually in animation as much, but.
[SPEAKER_00]: But maybe,
[SPEAKER_00]: the whole point of this though is like to notice that change in him maybe right like whatever they did is effective because we noticed a change.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah right.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Lori doesn't want Cody to retrieve her source code and she won't answer Cody when he asks why and she kicks in from the server and Cody has a meltdown.
[SPEAKER_01]: Lots of her first big emotional Cody.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, lots of crybaby hangups in this episode.
[SPEAKER_04]: Lots of UIs unable to use their words and just hang it up and hang her.
[SPEAKER_01]: Peter Waxman completes a download to a thumb drive and is immediately summoned into a conference room to meet with Pope.
[SPEAKER_01]: Pope introduces Pete to newly appointed NSA head admiral Kurtz.
[SPEAKER_01]: The NSA has been playing in the U.S. Sandbox and seized caddons from logarithms team that worked on project destiny regarding the zero date flaw.
[SPEAKER_01]: Peter lies and says, Hulstrum abandoned in the project after the fall was discovered.
[SPEAKER_01]: Pope invites Petty and here on small screen sessions, we do love our moral conundrum Petis.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah, we've been there before.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Pope invites Petty to share relevant materials.
[SPEAKER_01]: Pope also requests NSA assistance to locate a just a random dark web hacker, what's called Caspy Under something.
[SPEAKER_04]: And I love the old boys just like, yeah, well, we're fucking now.
[SPEAKER_04]: We're in bed together.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
[SPEAKER_04]: I like his X and what's my Z speech.
[SPEAKER_04]: He's like, he's got this great lot that he just kind of goes off on a tangent and has his moment, but he's got a pretty nice model out before that about.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, shit.
[SPEAKER_04]: Like the most interesting thing I've ever heard everybody talk about math.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: That could see he wants to find the Y and the C and the resultant resonant and canceling interference patterns.
[SPEAKER_04]: See, see how boring it is when you say that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Cool answer to like, why math?
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm never going to need that.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's good answer.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was.
[SPEAKER_01]: And brother Kenneth Kothi ended casting his demonstration and into its caps.
[SPEAKER_01]: Casting his running from something and offers to help.
[SPEAKER_04]: And then he gives like the best breakdown of predestination.
[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, and let's just sum up all of like Christianity, all of like human, like succinctly sum up everything.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's a really good job with them.
[SPEAKER_04]: Like shit, yeah, Christians take note.
[SPEAKER_01]: for me I wrote down the heroin addict come california calvinist is because predestination is not common to all Christian faith is true.
[SPEAKER_01]: Please cast me with the vaguri that any choice you can make you can any choice to be the right one so long as you choose to embrace it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Great thanks for coming thanks for that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Right but it's like so succinct he's owning it at least he realizes and he's like sure I'm all in
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm all out.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, me too, but like it was good.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not signing up for it.
[SPEAKER_04]: I think I was going to have the average, you know, approach to that paradox.
[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, PD brings the UI tracking thumb drive to Ellen.
[SPEAKER_01]: He asked her to pass along his acknowledgement of David's artistic flourish, ascending the logarithm, straight team, to a Chuck E. Cheese.
[SPEAKER_01]: And she invites him into the basement layer, so he can tell David himself.
[SPEAKER_00]: This part was interesting to me.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's drop it, are you sure?
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it's all made of just some antics with Ellen, right?
[SPEAKER_00]: But Waxman is like, you know, oh, tell him that that was a nice touch.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then she says, why don't you tell him?
[SPEAKER_00]: So is it just some antics in a way to communicate with Waxman or is she starting to believe that is quote-unquote him, right?
[SPEAKER_00]: This is more of like this development of Ellen, believing that that's him.
[SPEAKER_04]: The way she's talking about him now, I think she's I think that partly she resisted it all along is because she knew that if she went along with it then she would
[SPEAKER_04]: come to believe it even if one part of her never could at the same time, you know what I mean?
[SPEAKER_04]: Because it'd be the convenience and the comfort of believe in it's him.
[SPEAKER_00]: And going through loss again, especially as they're finding out about the flaw and all that, it's like, oh okay, well, I'm going to get some more joy out of this for a while, but then what's going to happen?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, let's see, Petty, make tactile contact with the server farm.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's to kind of feel his old friend David's presence again.
[SPEAKER_01]: He attaches the drive to a port and David asks Matti, is that waxman?
[SPEAKER_01]: And Matti affirming types, do you want to talk to him?
[SPEAKER_01]: Hard past from David.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that was pretty immediate.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no.
[SPEAKER_01]: David Loury and Chanda use PD's tracker to locate the other UIs.
[SPEAKER_01]: Loury is out to see Chanda and David are in their respective home countries, and they deduced that the three unaccounted four are the Chinese sell, that trio has opposed it up in Palo Alto.
[SPEAKER_01]: and the ad hoc trio of David Loray Chanda entered the virtual Chinese reality, which presents us a realm within the reign of winter video games since that's how the former prison warden and the man he exploited spent much of their time farming in game currency to exchange for IRL currency.
[SPEAKER_04]: And we got a little bit of that earlier in the episode that's to prepare us.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: I kept going back and forth on the scene of like, oh, that's fun.
[SPEAKER_00]: They were making a fun visual representation of what's happening.
[SPEAKER_00]: I was swinging wildly between this is fun and this is so dumb.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I was feeling a little bit crabbly fine and it's going on for a long time.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I get it.
[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, it was just a pendulum back and forth.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, because they're like, they're, it's swordplay, but really they're just like trying to reject, eject them off the server.
[SPEAKER_00]: Right, so I'm like, well, who's, who's making this?
[SPEAKER_00]: Who's choosing this?
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I get that they're in the Chinese place where they feel comfortable.
[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, they're three Chinese people.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're gonna use some of their, I mean, they don't know about the flop, but they're gonna use some of their resources to render all of this fighting.
[SPEAKER_00]: just for funsies, while they do this thing, that's where I could always, I was maybe thinking about it.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is a visual representation that they can deal with because they're so used to it from before.
[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're going to create a virtual world in Iraq then,
[SPEAKER_01]: And you had one at the ready.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: And they've already established that new UI need that kind of stuff.
[SPEAKER_04]: They need these familiar things.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's true.
[SPEAKER_04]: And I like that they're not that good with it.
[SPEAKER_04]: They, you know, they get bested by the more experienced UI's true.
[SPEAKER_00]: And tell, and tell Lori, like, gives out, like you don't flaws out.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: But she kind of plays it off like she meant to or like it was all that she could already tell like she wasn't going to waste any more time.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I thought that was interesting.
[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.
[SPEAKER_00]: I was kind of like I was a little confused about that too because that's what it seemed like.
[SPEAKER_00]: It seemed like she like some of her power strength gave out and that's what happened.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then that's not what she says.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: uh... uh... waxman runs cover uh... to excuse the connectivity spike caused by the metaphorical three on three battle here uh... and then elements like i think it's like this like kind of look and a nod like you got me ok cool your cool yeah in perceptibly like her mouth turns out like just
[SPEAKER_04]: little bit of a smile and it also plays in it like she knew she could bad waxman somehow she knew she could get them in in in the camp and working for them and helping them because she used to be friendly with him because I mean she liked him so she wants to still leave he's a good person she believed that at one point before so she's probably glad to see like okay this they're still this guy that I know in there.
[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the battle wages on, the Chinese trambread employee's shadow pad, CCPE creepware, carrying the background in rap for remote access Trojan, and they are subdued by the level 90 and D&D imprisonment spell.
[SPEAKER_01]: Lori Glitches and loses containment of the opposing HBIC, headbitch in charge, Lori David
[SPEAKER_01]: Lori summarizes she is just enough cohesion to fall back to her previous plan to warn the world of the UI threat.
[SPEAKER_01]: A Chonda lashes out and David defends.
[SPEAKER_01]: I said, don't exploit.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Chonda presses his position.
[SPEAKER_01]: And David Valle is to expose you I himself with Chonda attacks Lori again.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Chonda limits.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm breaking up the band.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he has a tantrum.
[SPEAKER_01]: another child of it.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he laments the schism as David expels his presence from the server and lorry had dipped while the other two-corrid.
[SPEAKER_01]: What's with smart?
[SPEAKER_01]: Pope ambushes Kaspin is the flatter feeds the needy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Pope wants to talk and tries to reassure Caspeen by stressing the lack of black SUVs.
[SPEAKER_04]: And the lack of hair and the amount of greed and the lack of confidence or care.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was so good.
[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like he's doing a good job here.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, there's what he wants.
[SPEAKER_04]: And he completely lays down, just completely humiliates himself.
[SPEAKER_04]: but gets what he wants.
[SPEAKER_04]: And I think speaks truth.
[SPEAKER_04]: I think this is all, how he actually feels.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it seems like a combination of all of those.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's very effective.
[SPEAKER_00]: But they both think that they have the advantage and are getting what they want.
[SPEAKER_00]: But they, I think, both think, will cast me and I think at least, still what she says with his line of,
[SPEAKER_04]: He tells him, I'm gonna dismantle the entire business and sell it off piece by piece.
[SPEAKER_04]: And he's like, great.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: He's responsible for the boss.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and his why to that is very believable.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, I don't, I don't question these things anymore because here is a laundry list of examples of why you were right.
[SPEAKER_00]: The person you're cloned from was right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, and my note here is, uh, flattery is Pope's forte, but he has to always add some bidders to that cocktail.
[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
[SPEAKER_01]: Can't just be straight sweet.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, because that's not believable, though, too.
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think the black SUV thing is believable anymore in 2026, except for accountless videos of ICE, climbing out of Renek Ars, procured in their target cities.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's pretty precious to have Pope driving around and read it now, but the precocious Cassian reduces the NSA involvement and Pope confirms the suspicion and shifts the convolutary status.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's OK. Pope admits that despite all the monitoring data, no one in the planet can anticipate Cassian's behavior.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Pope whistfully reminisces about Holsterman, pleads for absolution for his buckups from Holsterman's cloned living avatar.
[SPEAKER_01]: And apology, this is how this ends.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how it is.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's a little anti-climatic kind of satisfying in a weird way, too.
[SPEAKER_04]: Because it's just like, what are they going to do?
[SPEAKER_04]: This fight should each other out when they finally come face to face.
[SPEAKER_04]: Of course, they're going to come to a deal and have a conversation.
[SPEAKER_01]: I can't can see this is, oh, okay, now it's up to me.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now I have free will.
[SPEAKER_01]: After you spent like my entire life trying to mold me into this.
[SPEAKER_01]: in a way that I wouldn't have for you.
[SPEAKER_04]: Right, but now, that's... Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so, Kasfine, once again, leverages his cult status.
[SPEAKER_01]: Give me that control of the company.
[SPEAKER_01]: Pope Grease of that hesitation.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Kasfine doesn't believe him.
[SPEAKER_01]: Outlines his plans for logarithms.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to trash you, I program.
[SPEAKER_01]: Take it apart.
[SPEAKER_01]: Fucking hedge fund style.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, and Pope describes this experience of evolving from man with opinions to stalwart Toady who works for you boss.
[SPEAKER_01]: Put it on my right, it's resume.
[SPEAKER_01]: Stalwart Toady.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and to further and vagal.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, yeah, cast, cast by the heat describes himself is, uh, eyes, the clueless man
[SPEAKER_01]: and Mary appeals to Cody to try to prevent Lori's Pentagon papers WikiLeaks Panama Papers release.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Lori Lowell is completing her face-to-face camera or face-to-camera U.I.o.
[SPEAKER_01]: bituary.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Cody, what are you saying?
[SPEAKER_00]: This sounds ridiculous and this just pissed me off so much.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like really Lori, no.
[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to sudden this out?
[SPEAKER_04]: What?
[SPEAKER_00]: No, exactly.
[SPEAKER_00]: Who's going to believe it?
[SPEAKER_04]: like you look like a person and you're talking like a I could release this video.
[SPEAKER_04]: I thought it could be something much more.
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_00]: Real or convincing.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but I was like, oh, someone made an AI animation.
[SPEAKER_04]: She says it's going to release files and source codes and that kind of stuff too.
[SPEAKER_04]: So presumably this stuff is going to back up her statement here.
[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, I mean, but also what is she's supposed to do?
[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm looking like Max headroom or Trog?
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I don't know how to address people as of non-people.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like it's someone narrated the upstream files, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: So there's going to be videos in there.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's going to be pictures in there.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's going to be emails and files whenever else.
[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm with you and in both ways on that.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, I don't know what I was expecting.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because yeah, what could she do here?
[SPEAKER_00]: That would be like a big mic drop.
[SPEAKER_00]: That would work.
[SPEAKER_00]: There isn't something.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, release the files unredacted.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Cody Waters in, Lori welcomes him in and apologizes.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Cody is still hellbent and retrieving Lori's source code from when she was originally uploaded.
[SPEAKER_01]: But people already means that she reversed out.
[SPEAKER_01]: She felt two years ago.
[SPEAKER_01]: She was so good in love with Cody.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's a total bitch, just do what I want.
[SPEAKER_00]: Cody, I just want you to do what I say.
[SPEAKER_00]: Just do what I say, Cody.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I mean, I think this makes a pretty good point of being honest and being like, look, I had fallen out of love with you when I died.
[SPEAKER_04]: And that person, if you resurrect,
[SPEAKER_04]: me, you're going to expect, you know, that person love you.
[SPEAKER_04]: He should at least know that she's able to have never known.
[SPEAKER_04]: And then presumably, we got in the love back or maybe not, who knows.
[SPEAKER_00]: But, but she basically said, like, you're, you're service to me, you're unwavering service to me as why I fell back and love with you.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, have you ever,
[SPEAKER_04]: And what the woman?
[UNKNOWN]: God damn it, forever.
[SPEAKER_00]: Did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did it, did
[SPEAKER_01]: That's time to be it, if she's degrading, she doesn't know how much time she has left.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't know.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, oh, okay, you were a puppet for me, so that's why I love you.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's a certain person of woman.
[SPEAKER_04]: All right, yeah, I know.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's that was just an easy low-hanging joke.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I don't know.
[SPEAKER_00]: Most women want...
[SPEAKER_01]: I will not.
[SPEAKER_01]: It works in this case.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, what was her job before, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: Like she's exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: She's working in an high speed trading and like super ambitious and doing head to for the made, right?
[SPEAKER_00]: If it's her personality, it does, because she's definitely an outlier.
[SPEAKER_00]: But just, I don't know, it may be really sad.
[SPEAKER_00]: I was mad about her speech to the world and then I was mad.
[SPEAKER_00]: She was saying all this to Cody.
[SPEAKER_00]: It felt a little manipulative.
[SPEAKER_04]: Were you mad she's getting blowed up?
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what I believe, because of what the show is.
[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there's files I want to believe.
[SPEAKER_01]: Pantheon, I don't know what to believe.
[SPEAKER_04]: It makes it a very appropriate show for the times.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_04]: In more ways than one.
[SPEAKER_01]: Headstone.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: John and Maddie both offer amicable terms to end the call.
[SPEAKER_01]: Lowry acknowledges Cody's evotion term, which she did not feel prior to uploading, given the demands for waking life.
[SPEAKER_01]: She was Cody to reciprocate and acknowledge her decision to publish the Pentagon papers and then some.
[SPEAKER_01]: Her current programming lesson, she was contemplating a breakup before her body died.
[SPEAKER_01]: Her consciousness has evolved to value Cody, and she doesn't want to revert to version 1.0 and lose what they built.
[SPEAKER_01]: Lori emphasizes what Cody made possible for her.
[SPEAKER_01]: And sociopath Johnda threatens Maddie as proxy to David, and likewise Lori.
[SPEAKER_01]: Maddie runs home.
[SPEAKER_01]: Laurie narrates the end of the world while staring down the camera lens.
[SPEAKER_01]: We cannot be trusted with this power if we are not gods.
[SPEAKER_01]: We are you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, that's the name of the show Yeah, we are you if you possess a destructive powers of the mythical gods
[SPEAKER_01]: So, Lori wants this destructive capability to be harnessed to improve life on Earth.
[SPEAKER_01]: She releases the source code you try to prevent further catastrophe.
[SPEAKER_01]: She trusts people to act in the interest of humanity even as her floating servers obliterated.
[SPEAKER_01]: Maddie couldn't rush to save her fast enough.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Chandler goes long here.
[SPEAKER_04]: He does, yeah, he's been to see self.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, yeah, what's that about?
[SPEAKER_04]: That's just like, I look like it's Fabio when I... Yeah, I'm cool.
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't realize, I guess, I don't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, reindeer sing.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's his fantasy personality of the Tar thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like the Chinese people playing in the game.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're like, uh, where do they call it when, like, a poking mind of
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you leveled up, yeah, that's right, I don't know if that's right term or not, but it feels right All I know is like I got one week to really finally nail down whatever the fuck I'm gonna pick for next Rotate you just gonna like sort by shortest amount of episodes that you have been trying I'm trying to find the shortest amount of it can't just go by episodes.
[SPEAKER_04]: You gotta look at the minutes
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding, not basing it on that, you're like fuck, he really does want the shortest thing possible.
[SPEAKER_00]: I just assumed that because you talk about so much.
[SPEAKER_04]: Just joking, I'll pick something I actually like and want to do.
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, no.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Actually, I can't decide if I'm going to pick something I like and want to do, or if I want to pick a show that I've been mean to watch and I think is actually probably going to be good.
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I've always picked stuff that always because this is like my third time or whatever, but it seems safer to pick stuff that I've seen Amanda
[SPEAKER_04]: But I know, but I feel like I could, you know, there's a couple of things that have a good death reputation, or I trust the filmmakers behind you to enough.
[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm trying to weigh that out.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'll get back to you next week, and better than I guess.
[SPEAKER_00]: Mmm, I'm crying.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going forward to it.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm excited.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm excited to find out what the fuck happens.
[SPEAKER_04]: Two other things.
[SPEAKER_04]: Steve, I assume you're going to do season two of this, because I don't want to take on the trying to explain all this shit.
[SPEAKER_04]: Because I thought about it, I'm like, oh, keep it going.
[SPEAKER_04]: They're like, no, I'm not going to do that.
[SPEAKER_04]: I can't explain it to you.
[SPEAKER_04]: So that's it.
[SPEAKER_01]: I could now, or later, whatever you want.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's the thing, because I feel like we maybe learned our lesson with severance.
[SPEAKER_00]: We should have kept going with that.
[SPEAKER_00]: I felt like you guys felt like that.
[SPEAKER_00]: We should have just kept going with severance.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, in a way, but I don't really want to pick it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[SPEAKER_00]: So either Steve continues and we just go, we just keep going.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's what you're saying, right?
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I would do it now.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, let's talk about it off air.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, or you can just, yeah, call it all this stuff out.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not, no, I told you, when I edited it anymore, it's all all for everybody.
[SPEAKER_04]: Everybody's here.
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll be behind the scenes.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: And that was my elbow that just hit my microphone.
[SPEAKER_00]: So one more episode, and then that's what I was going to ask about if there's because I knew there's another season, so we're going to find out what happens in this season next week and Travis's pick, right?
[SPEAKER_04]: Something.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see here it out, folks.
[SPEAKER_01]: Cool.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll nail it down before the end of the next week's episode.
[SPEAKER_01]: See you for episode eight.
[SPEAKER_01]: Goodbye.
[SPEAKER_04]: I had to put on your thorn and start crying and turn around and leave it.
