[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the Mile High Huddle Podcast with your football free, Chad Jensen and Zach Kilmer.
[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, Broncos Country is not a geographic location.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a state of being.
[SPEAKER_03]: All right, welcome in everybody.
[SPEAKER_03]: We are live.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is the gut reaction episode of The Mile High Hotel podcast.
[SPEAKER_03]: And if I can keep my voice tonight, we're going to be in great shape with me as always.
[SPEAKER_03]: My partner in crime, you know me, I love them.
[SPEAKER_03]: Zach Kelverman, Zach, break this down, dude.
[SPEAKER_03]: Broncos win, but they won ugly.
[SPEAKER_03]: How are you feeling?
[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, I think this is going to be one of those rare cases where you and I disagree chat on a material level because this is a win that felt like a loss.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad they got the win and I credit them and mostly the defense in this game, uh, Justin Herbert played like complete ass chat.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's the most overrated quarterback in NFL history, but Bonesick wasn't much better for the majority of the game.
[SPEAKER_02]: The offense wasn't much better for the majority of the game.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not one of those wins that inspires a lot of confidence.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, there's, there's some silver lining aspects to this win, not the least of which Zack is that the Broncos are three and two, which was a must going into this game.
[SPEAKER_03]: Another, a few silver linings and again, guys, please forgive the voice.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to do the best I can.
[SPEAKER_03]: I think the more I use it, the better it's going to be, but nevertheless, Zack, silver linings.
[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, for the first time all season, the Broncos got a first down on their opening drive.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not trying to write home with any big stunning successes here's that, but these are modest steps forward.
[SPEAKER_03]: But I'm with you in that I'm starting to get increasingly more concerned with Bonyx.
[SPEAKER_03]: Something's definitely going on there, but hey man, he pulled it out and played better in the fourth quarter at least.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I guess Chad, but it's like it's concerning, but I'll speak for myself, the entire podcast.
[SPEAKER_02]: But it's a little frustrating and annoying, too, that they just can't put it all together for four quarters.
[SPEAKER_02]: This was a winless division rival, Chad, that was completely decimated by injury.
[SPEAKER_02]: This game should not have even been close if the Broncos are true championship contenders.
[SPEAKER_02]: I know it's not college football.
[SPEAKER_02]: You don't get graded on how pretty your wins are in this and that, but it's a game the Brock who should have won handily and again, they squeaked by there are major issues on the offensive side of the ball that are not just coincidental and we can't just cover our eyes and cover our ears.
[SPEAKER_02]: They have to get fixed and they have to be called out.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Sean Peyton said after last week's game's act, we're not playing championship offense.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's just not overall championship football.
[SPEAKER_03]: The defense is obviously Zach the least of the the concerns here, but let's see what's on the Queen Lady D's mind jumping in.
[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
[SPEAKER_03]: The top rope.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, Diana.
[SPEAKER_03]: Much love and respect.
[SPEAKER_03]: She says hi, Chad and Zach.
[SPEAKER_03]: It wasn't Zach, you read this one, but
[SPEAKER_02]: I got you man.
[SPEAKER_02]: I was there last week, Chad.
[SPEAKER_02]: I know how you feel.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hi, Chad and Zach.
[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you again, though.
[SPEAKER_02]: Lady D for your generosity as always.
[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't pretty, but we won the offense.
[SPEAKER_02]: Needs to step up.
[SPEAKER_02]: Can play this way against Seattle.
[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely right about that.
[SPEAKER_02]: Something is definitely up with Bonyx.
[SPEAKER_02]: He isn't playing with the intensity.
[SPEAKER_02]: He has the last two years.
[SPEAKER_02]: We need to figure it out and image it for life.
[SPEAKER_02]: He
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you're bang on with all your comments there, Deanna.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what's going on.
[SPEAKER_02]: I kind of wrote it off after week one because that was a walkie game.
[SPEAKER_02]: Even though there were like major red flags.
[SPEAKER_02]: They won week two.
[SPEAKER_02]: They beat the Rams and then they had those regression points last week and then we wrote it off again.
[SPEAKER_02]: We can't write it off anymore.
[SPEAKER_02]: he's playing timid, he's playing scare, he's overthinking, he's not playing confident at all, and it's not the play caller.
[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, it's not Davis Webb's fault.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's on the quarterback who's supposed to raise all ships.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm the biggest bonus fan of live chat, but you hear the frustration in my voice.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's all genuine.
[SPEAKER_02]: I am tired of watching bad brocos football for three and a half quarters.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then they decide in the fourth quarter, they want to show up.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's not how you win in the national football league.
[SPEAKER_02]: So like Diana said,
[SPEAKER_02]: you got to figure it out and you have to figure it out fast because you have a super bold champion coming to your house in a few days.
[SPEAKER_03]: So what could it be?
[SPEAKER_03]: Like why has bone next all of a sudden looked so much so scared hesitant or whatever you want to call it unpoised what's changed?
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean the only thing that changed from the last time from from last seasons that was
[SPEAKER_03]: He's a new father.
[SPEAKER_03]: By the way, Mr. Jay, love you, buddy.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's a new father, Zach, and then he's coming off an injury.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like what else is there that you can really point to?
[SPEAKER_03]: Like we can talk about the Davis Web thing.
[SPEAKER_03]: But honestly, that I don't think it's as big of a deal in terms of how it affected Beau.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's not why he looks hesitant.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's not like he doesn't understand what he's seeing.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's obviously not trusting his eyes, but something's going on between the years.
[SPEAKER_03]: And it's
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the longer this goes on and then we're going to let you reach in and super chat here, Zack.
[SPEAKER_03]: The longer it goes on, pardon me, the more I think it's he's not as healthy as they're leading us on to believe he's worried about his ankle.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm right there with you.
[SPEAKER_02]: It has to be that.
[SPEAKER_02]: I can't think of anything else.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to put it on him having a baby.
[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of players and people in life have babies and they can do their job.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's like he forgot how to play football.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't think he has.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think the old bonyx is still in there.
[SPEAKER_02]: But he has a case of the hips right now.
[SPEAKER_02]: And maybe it's the pressure for last season.
[SPEAKER_02]: That was a lot of success, Chad, for him to have 14 and 3.
[SPEAKER_02]: All the accolades that went along with that number one seed.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then there was the pressure to get back to that point and exceed it, get to the Super Bowl.
[SPEAKER_02]: But he's a guy who's very mature, football wise beyond his years.
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't think it would affect him to this point, but I'm concerned and I'm frustrated.
[SPEAKER_03]: Shannon, thank you so much.
[SPEAKER_03]: Love you, appreciate you.
[SPEAKER_03]: You are the bomb.com.
[SPEAKER_03]: You know this, power company checking in.
[SPEAKER_03]: We got Taylor, Christians and Zach jumping in.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, buddy.
[SPEAKER_03]: He says, a win is a win.
[SPEAKER_03]: We got work to do on to Seattle, go Broncos.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yazac and on to Seattle, possibly without Talonola who funga, put a sin in that.
[SPEAKER_03]: We'll put a pin in that for now.
[SPEAKER_03]: But Fat Sir Tan, good to see you, buddy.
[SPEAKER_03]: Zach, I'm going to let you read this one too.
[SPEAKER_02]: I got him.
[SPEAKER_02]: I got the comments.
[SPEAKER_02]: Fassertant.
[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for the 999 superman.
[SPEAKER_02]: Really appreciate that never accept anything in a win you wouldn't in a loss, glad the defense balled out with injuries, but my Lord this offense.
[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you guys for being my favorite go to place for post game.
[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for listening to us post game and checking in immediately after the game that certain.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the offense is definitely for us.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how else to put it.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to keep saying that words tonight annoyed frustrated concern.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's it's almost pathetic that for three and a half quarters.
[SPEAKER_02]: They look like something out of the UFO.
[SPEAKER_02]: They don't even look national football inequality.
[SPEAKER_02]: I spent the entire day as I do every Sunday chat watching all every other team.
[SPEAKER_02]: I park my ass on the couch and I watch football all day when you watch the Broncos offense and watch other offenses.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's like,
[SPEAKER_02]: two different sports completely.
[SPEAKER_02]: So I am right there with you fat and I'm sad that we're wasting.
[SPEAKER_02]: It looks like not really wasting, but in time spoiling what's in a still elite defense.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, look dude, the Broncos won the game though.
[SPEAKER_03]: Let's keep that in mind.
[SPEAKER_03]: But nevertheless, Zack, I mean, the run game at a certain point deep in the third quarter, I tweeted this from the MHH account.
[SPEAKER_03]: Justin Herbert on three carries at that time had more rushing yards than the Broncos running backs combined.
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, so it's one hand washes the other kind of situation where it's all kind of Working together to create Zach a world of suck for the offense, but I think that the fastest route to getting it fixed and getting bone next back on his feet is Sean Paton's got to get to the bottom of the ground game and figure out hey, I know it was end of game and so You know, you got fatigue and there's a reason why you want to be able to run well at the end of games, et cetera But why was the run game able to suddenly become so much more efficient in the
[SPEAKER_03]: fourth quarter than it was at any point previous in the game.
[SPEAKER_03]: So like they got to figure out that run games act because if they don't, this too high shell thing is not going away and then we'll grab some.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I question also the level of competition.
[SPEAKER_02]: If there was one blight on the Chargers defense or one major area of exploitation, it was the ground game.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the Broncos did kind of wake up, but they didn't have a ground game last season chat after Dobbins went down.
[SPEAKER_02]: And Bo was not playing the same type of football.
[SPEAKER_02]: He was leading the Broncos to commanding wins.
[SPEAKER_02]: And even though they are wins, wins or wins, they just don't feel like the same team.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's one of those it factors.
[SPEAKER_02]: They feel like they're more timid and more passive.
[SPEAKER_02]: Last year, they were going out and being active and taking it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Sam, thank you, buddy.
[SPEAKER_03]: He says back in the win column three and two big game Thursday against the seahawks and then the minibye, which I think will be much needed and helpful for bow in the offense better football yet to come.
[SPEAKER_03]: He feels that go Broncos.
[SPEAKER_03]: Love you, Sam.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, thank you so much Sam, it is helpful that the Brock was got the win just for their psyche and mental confidence.
[SPEAKER_02]: It is a win and that's the most prevailing positive I can give you for tonight's game.
[SPEAKER_02]: Today's game is the fact that they got the win, but they're going to have to play much better football because they're facing a better defense and a better offense and a better quarterback.
[SPEAKER_02]: I should say with the C Hawks on a short week, thankfully it's at home,
[SPEAKER_03]: We got all three members of the power company in the house tonight, including the Princess Michaela Parker, Mount Rushmore all around.
[SPEAKER_03]: Here we go, Michaela love you.
[SPEAKER_03]: She says, now it's it's about to get real y'all.
[SPEAKER_03]: Here we go.
[SPEAKER_03]: Offense looked like ass.
[SPEAKER_03]: Feels like a loss when you play a bunch of third string players and undrafted free agents, especially exact talking about that offensive line plan for rookies.
[SPEAKER_03]: We should have dominated.
[SPEAKER_03]: So Bo is a big time problem.
[SPEAKER_03]: keep it up and you're not going anywhere unwatchable.
[SPEAKER_03]: Love you Michaela, keep your chin up, keep your chin up, Zach your thoughts and then she says with a second generous super chat that wasn't for the turnovers, we wouldn't score.
[SPEAKER_03]: We can't sustain drives.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's embarrassing.
[SPEAKER_02]: First of all, Michaela, thank you so much.
[SPEAKER_02]: Second of all, usually I'm the one and chads the one as well on here after got reactions to kind of just say, listen, don't go too far near the edge of the cliff.
[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm closer to that cliff with you this week.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, this game really pissed me off.
[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't feel like a win.
[SPEAKER_02]: It feels like the chargers gave it to them, which turnovers and they couldn't convert a fourth in one with Herbert.
[SPEAKER_02]: the chargers are embarrassingly bad this season.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what's happening to them, Herbert's the most overrated quarterback, the NFL history, but this doesn't feel like a commanding win like it should have been for the Broncos.
[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, it's almost unwatchable at times, pretty much until the fourth quarter, and they're not going to have the same success as they did in 2025.
[SPEAKER_02]: If they continue this trend, I've been saying it for four or five weeks now.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I'm just not quite that myopic and I think it's okay, Zach, for for co-host not to see everything perfectly the same all the time and what I'll say is that like guys let's keep in mind we we've known this for the last three years so going into now year four here.
[SPEAKER_03]: that Jim Harbaugh and Justin Herbert, they save a little extra hair for when they get the Broncos on the schedule.
[SPEAKER_03]: And I thought the charge, I mean, I knew going into this, it was gonna be a closer game.
[SPEAKER_03]: I obviously was hoping Zack that the offense wasn't gonna be this ugly, but I knew on the road especially against the chargers.
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, it was gonna be a tough game, gonna be a tight game, rock, fight, ish, maybe not the prettiest thing, but,
[SPEAKER_03]: It's the first time in the Sean Peyton era, they got to win it so far.
[SPEAKER_03]: So I want to factor that into the analysis here, just by way of balancing, you know, balancing, but I'm with you.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's one of those wins.
[SPEAKER_03]: Zach, that feels like a loss.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's, you know, and it's the worst kind of feeling, but a win is a win to quote you, my brother.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, maybe it's just like if they had commanding victories after commanding victories and every once in a while, Chad, there was a game like this where they struggle where they should have blown out the other team.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'd be okay with it, but it's every game they win is like this.
[SPEAKER_02]: It just kind of gets old after a while.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I hate to say that about a win, but it does.
[SPEAKER_03]: We got Riptide jumping in.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, brother.
[SPEAKER_03]: Dear member, if I'm not quite as boisterous as I normally am, it's because I can't with my voice.
[SPEAKER_03]: I got to keep it down.
[SPEAKER_03]: It'll sell sound like I'm 13-year-old
[SPEAKER_03]: St. Nick 1978 is me, by the way, I was logged into my NFL Sunday game, et cetera.
[SPEAKER_03]: He says, glad they won, but nope, not going to get it done.
[SPEAKER_03]: Been tired of this type of game since 84.
[SPEAKER_03]: The discussion of Sean Peyton being on the hot seat needs to start.
[SPEAKER_03]: Bow's mental is broken or something.
[SPEAKER_03]: Don't like it.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is all on Sean, period's
[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for that ripped eye and I understand what you're saying.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know that I'm there yet though because Sean's not on the field throwing the ball and committing turnover is not hitting receivers and being timid to let it rip deep.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how both suddenly forgot how to do all that, but it seems like he has.
[SPEAKER_02]: And whether it's the ankle, which you can't put on Sean Peyton,
[SPEAKER_02]: whether it's anything else in his personal life, that's affecting him mentally, which you can't put on Sean Payton.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't say it's all on Sean, although I've always said coaching coaching coaching.
[SPEAKER_02]: I can't be hypocritical now.
[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of it is on the coaching staff, but we've seen two different play colors.
[SPEAKER_02]: We went back to Sean Payton.
[SPEAKER_02]: That was supposed to be the pull in case of emergency if Bowenick struggle, while they pulled it and still nothing really changed.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's a lot on the coaching staff.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but it's also on Bowenick's being out there
[SPEAKER_03]: We got Chris Hernandez, a OG superstar, dear member, a good buddy of mine.
[SPEAKER_03]: Checking in, great to see you, Chris.
[SPEAKER_03]: Much love and respect, my brother.
[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, and by the way, guys, since it's a win, guess what?
[SPEAKER_03]: We're raffling off another jersey.
[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go.
[SPEAKER_03]: We'll be talking about that more here in a little bit.
[SPEAKER_03]: But Chris says that with his symbolic super chat, Chargers are gonna charge your defense and the fourth quarter magic step and up again.
[SPEAKER_03]: like those little thumbs up.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, indeed, Zach, your thoughts here for the OG, the vintage OG.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, thank you, Chris, as usual, my brother.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's, I don't know.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's kind of how I feel about the game.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the magic of the team stepping up and another comeback win for Bo.
[SPEAKER_02]: The defense did play well.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll give them credit.
[SPEAKER_02]: But it's that level of competition.
[SPEAKER_02]: It was the chargers and not just that.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's the worst iteration of the chargers that I can remember.
[SPEAKER_02]: They are oh and five now.
[SPEAKER_02]: They had no offensive weapons, maybe with the exception of a Mario on Hampton.
[SPEAKER_02]: They had an injury decimated defense.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's, I can't really crown the Broncos too much for eking out a win under those circumstances, but definitely appreciate the message.
[SPEAKER_02]: Click those little thumbs up.
[SPEAKER_03]: But it was great Chris, I'm with you man to see the defense step up and make some big game changing plays late and especially Zach with Talonola who fonga out.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's obviously very concerning on a short week, not the least of which I mean that alone with is sketchy Zach, but the fact that.
[SPEAKER_03]: You're probably still not going to have PS2 or Riley Moss for this coming game.
[SPEAKER_03]: So thank you Chris.
[SPEAKER_03]: I love you, bud.
[SPEAKER_03]: Jess jumping in Zach says, when is a win?
[SPEAKER_03]: Let's go.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Broncos are three and two Zach.
[SPEAKER_03]: And, you know, they got they're keeping up with the chiefs so to speak.
[SPEAKER_03]: The Raiders did lose today.
[SPEAKER_03]: So blown out on the road by the Patriots.
[SPEAKER_03]: And the chiefs are on by.
[SPEAKER_03]: So the Broncos are
[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much Omar for that level of generosity man really appreciate that dear member glad we won but not inspired not confident that's exactly all I'm feeling Offence looks old and slow defense bailed out the team where we heard that before the last decade.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, even with D stepping up the offense barely did anything not championship level have tickets to Kansas City game but scared to fly all the way from Nigeria
[SPEAKER_02]: Go Broncos.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's awesome.
[SPEAKER_02]: You have tickets for that game Omar.
[SPEAKER_02]: I still hope you get out there because there's nothing like seeing football up close.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully the Broncos are playing a little better ball by that point, but yeah, it's exactly how I'm feeling.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not inspired by this game.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not confident.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a little downtrodden like I would be if they would have lost because that's how it feels.
[SPEAKER_02]: The offense looks like at times to your point.
[SPEAKER_02]: They have an adapted and that's a Sean Peyton thing.
[SPEAKER_02]: I said that the last couple years.
[SPEAKER_02]: It looks like he's still coaching that offense from 2006.
[SPEAKER_02]: not 2026.
[SPEAKER_02]: So I agree with that in in large part, the defense bailed out the team and like you said, even with the D stepping up, they had to eat out and struggle bus another win in a game chat where it should have been a blowout.
[SPEAKER_02]: So thank you for that Omar.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mostly 100% agree.
[SPEAKER_03]: Love you, buddy.
[SPEAKER_03]: Love you, buddy.
[SPEAKER_03]: And I still have, is it right next to me here?
[SPEAKER_03]: The score is.
[SPEAKER_03]: Reckon Ridge, Honey Flavor, Bronco Whiskey, Untapped, Untapped for Omar.
[SPEAKER_01]: And thank you, bud.
[SPEAKER_03]: But I think you're safe, Omar.
[SPEAKER_03]: Broncos, Sean Peyton has not lost to the chiefs at home as Broncos had coach for what it's worth.
[SPEAKER_03]: George Fox, good to see you, buddy.
[SPEAKER_03]: Glad you got your jersey.
[SPEAKER_03]: Very, very cool.
[SPEAKER_03]: He says what a win, but we're still not good.
[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe a little better, but for the middle quarters, we look bad.
[SPEAKER_03]: A wins a win, those acne reminds everybody, hit those thumbs up, which yes, guys, smash it, smash the like button, we need you.
[SPEAKER_03]: Camden jumps in to say, what's up, Broncos Country?
[SPEAKER_03]: Excited, we won, but not a good game offensively.
[SPEAKER_03]: Glad the defense is still elite.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not hitting the panic button quite yet on bonus, but he needs to run more
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and that's been the case all season, Camden.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad the defense stepped up.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad the Brock was got to win that.
[SPEAKER_02]: That'll be again, the number one prevailing positive thought I have from today's game is that they got the win.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're three and two.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're above 500, but to say that they need to run better or trust the playmakers is a massive understatement.
[SPEAKER_02]: Not against you, Camden, but in general, because this has been the issue from week one.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the more film that's come out, came out about it, excuse me.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the more people have,
[SPEAKER_02]: broke it down and putting it out there, Chad, you can't ignore it anymore.
[SPEAKER_02]: Botanix is playing timid.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's not letting it rip.
[SPEAKER_02]: He just looks like a much different beaten down quarterback.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, someone said to me, like, what is it?
[SPEAKER_03]: So it was a taxed or DN today, what is going on with Botanix?
[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm like, well, whatever it is that it's between the years.
[SPEAKER_03]: And that between the years phenomenon for what it's worth is I mentioned earlier like again I think he's worried about his ankle and maybe that injury the timing of the injuries act.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is me going kind of equal parts tin foil hat and Freudian here, but maybe the trauma of that injury not just oh I got hurt the timing of it, you know, on that on that you don't everything to like get to the playoff's first number one seed you got that division.
[SPEAKER_03]: de-throwing the chiefs, you frickin' beat Josh Allen and the bills, you're going to the AFC title game at home and...
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, so I wonder how much of that is still kind of residual, exact being worked out of bone nicks, a system through is, you know, for lack of a better term his football pours.
[SPEAKER_02]: You know what sucks though is the fact that we have to even speculate at this point, Chad, what it is.
[SPEAKER_02]: The fact that he's going through a slump, the fact that the offense look like they've regressed as a whole, and that just kind of angers me as well, but it is what it is, I guess.
[SPEAKER_03]: Lady D jumping in again because she is dark queen.
[SPEAKER_03]: She says Chad you need to uncapped that whiskey and put it in your tea your throat Well, thank you.
[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe I will.
[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe I will.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_03]: So it's a it's a good.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's a good reco.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you for that.
[SPEAKER_03]: She says also Zach with another generous super.
[SPEAKER_03]: I like Sean Peyton calling the place the defense one that game But against third and string and practice squad guys.
[SPEAKER_03]: It looked bad We got real lucky today the offense needs to get it together.
[SPEAKER_03]: Botanics needs to get right image is for life Well, yeah, Zach and just like the offensive line looks Michaela brought this up.
[SPEAKER_03]: It just looks like SHIT the offensive line and you're going way to second you got two all pros
[SPEAKER_03]: Garrett Bulls gave up a very extremely rare sack today.
[SPEAKER_03]: Although it was more botanics is fault for not ripping it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, Bulls had that frickin' dude blocked, blocked, blocked.
[SPEAKER_03]: All of a sudden, Botanics just kind of like edges into and it's like, how long can I keep this dude on an island?
[SPEAKER_03]: And then Zacky had a, what was it?
[SPEAKER_03]: It was a holding penalty yet, Garrett Bulls, but Mike McGlenshee with pre-snap, like just the whole offensive line, the run blocking,
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, again, we get back into the one hand washes the other thing and man, Sean Payton still has a lot of fixing to do.
[SPEAKER_03]: I think it was Sam that said, hey, you know, I'm going to say this, come what may on Thursday night, whether the Broncos win or lose that game, that many buy is going to be, I think, very helpful for Sean Payton to get to the bottom of some of these hills that are still, you know, at the core things.
[SPEAKER_02]: So you answer your question before and thank you so much again, Diana, again, for your generosity.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's truly incredible despite how the game went today.
[SPEAKER_02]: You mentioned earlier, Chad, why did the Broncos were unable to run the football for three-and-a-half quarters and they finally came to life in the end?
[SPEAKER_02]: It's because the offensive line was finally getting pushed up front.
[SPEAKER_02]: They have continually struggled to do that in each and every game this year.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think they are massively overrated.
[SPEAKER_02]: They have a couple great players, obviously in bowls and minors, but make flinchy.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's replacement level, Luke Wattenberg, who had another penalty today.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's replacement level, and also Ben Powers, who the Broko's will replace the offensive line can't pass block at times, and they certainly can't run block.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're also part of the problem, big time.
[SPEAKER_03]: The lady D. jumping in again after several super with like thank you so much.
[SPEAKER_03]: Awesome.
[SPEAKER_03]: $300 super chat.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
[SPEAKER_03]: And she says little help for the lights.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's definitely helping.
[SPEAKER_03]: And all of a sudden I feel my voice coming back a little bit better.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean,
[SPEAKER_03]: i think using my voice has been helpful to bring it back a little but she says love you guys and everyone in the chat i thought it was cool that couple weeks ago where at the meeting greet people oh that's lady deer oh that's wicked you know they're they've become their own little uh you know celebrity status within our community which i think is just really cool but while we're here guys i just want to mention real fast still
[SPEAKER_03]: Prayers up for Lady D in her family and her husband, David, who's just one of the greatest dudes, just salt to the earth cat.
[SPEAKER_03]: They could still use everybody's love, prayers, positivity, vibes, all that stuff.
[SPEAKER_02]: When we say people are legends, I mean no one exemplifies that more than Lady D and Enmecala, but Lady D. Thank you so much.
[SPEAKER_02]: It definitely helped keep it in the lights on.
[SPEAKER_02]: I feel brighter already and we love you so much.
[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for all that you do, genuinely.
[SPEAKER_03]: And one of these days, we're going to get Shannon out to a meet and greet.
[SPEAKER_03]: I know it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Even if we got to come to her one of these days and you know, my amy game or something, we'll make it happen.
[SPEAKER_03]: Two song fill, good to see a buddy.
[SPEAKER_03]: He says, good afternoon, Chad Zach and Deacon Scott.
[SPEAKER_03]: What is wrong with both?
[SPEAKER_03]: Also, I saw no difference in the play calling.
[SPEAKER_03]: Buckham, I made change for life, Bronx for life.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's hard to say upon one viewing Zach on television, but did anything jump out to you, play calling wise, where you're like, I could discern who what the difference here was.
[SPEAKER_02]: I thought it was funny that the Broncos finally got a first down on their first drive of a season and game of season and it was still a little Jordan Humphrey.
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's really the only difference I see was a little Jordan Humphrey's involvement and a lot of screen passes that still go nowhere.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it really didn't make a difference, honestly.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I know I was just panning the run game earlier, but I do think
[SPEAKER_03]: it was it seemed a little bit more what's a good word for it like in tune in flow with what the game was balance wise like it's just still execution needs to improve it doesn't matter who's calling the plays and that was one of the unfortunate things that we talked about last week is we all know that
[SPEAKER_03]: web as a scapegoat.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not necessarily being blamed, but Sean Payton is at a loss to do anything to fix the situation besides take back the play calling.
[SPEAKER_03]: So we took back the play calling.
[SPEAKER_03]: Shannon those act here.
[SPEAKER_03]: She is again, top row.
[SPEAKER_03]: She says, I also do not agree that this is all about Sean Payton and his play calling or offensive schemes.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is about execution.
[SPEAKER_03]: The team is also not cohesive and needs to work together from the beginning of the game through the end.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well said, I think, thank you, Shannon.
[SPEAKER_03]: We love you.
[SPEAKER_03]: And also, man, these receivers need to start stepping up, dude, like create separation, catch the ball when it comes your way, like Jalen had to drop today, Cortland Sutton on that third down in the second half, where yeah, I was contested.
[SPEAKER_03]: Why are you not coming down with any of these contested
[SPEAKER_03]: What is going on, although, hey, thank God, broken coverage.
[SPEAKER_03]: He finally got a touchdown for the season's act, but you're thoughts for Shannon before we move on.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think Shannon put it best with one word in her last comment, and thank you so much Shannon for that.
[SPEAKER_02]: She said, all, it's not all on Sean Payton.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of blame to go around, and I say that after every win, every loss, and in general, it's not just on one person, but it's an offense that has a lot of issues that need to be rectified and quickly.
[SPEAKER_03]: Duke Rose in the house saying big dogs, what's good fellas even with a win.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm still not sold on Sutton.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's been flookie, but hey, we won.
[SPEAKER_03]: This was a game's act where I really kind of have come around to what you've been talking about, looking slow effort.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I mean, I've questioned his effort a little bit through the season, like, but this game to me, it rules like,
[SPEAKER_02]: Claire is day like either Corlan Sutton has lost up with like officially lost a step or like he's not trying as hard as he should be or could be and people are to say well he scored but he was wide open he's still not creating separation down the field and like you said I don't know if he doesn't care anymore or if he's like breaking down father time is undefeated all that but he is not the same receiver and if it wasn't for Pat Bryant's injury Chad Corlan Sutton would be wide receiver three honestly
[SPEAKER_03]: might could be ripped.
[SPEAKER_03]: I says that pissed me off to Zach.
[SPEAKER_03]: So Sharon, a brain on on that subject, a trend jumps in.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, by the way, ripped a trend jumps in to say, a flatter, trinney in the house, long time fall.
[SPEAKER_03]: I know who you are, bro.
[SPEAKER_03]: Trinney is the, is the tell, but also, you know, I do keep and memorize as best I can profile picks.
[SPEAKER_03]: I know you've changed this stuff, but I knew who you were.
[SPEAKER_03]: He says, VJ looked like the better coach, the offense looked sus, but I'll take the dub.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, let's not lose sight of that guys as we kind of commiserate over the frustrating nature of this game's act.
[SPEAKER_02]: They did win, but the offense also looks suspect.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's no other way to put that chat.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's no denying it and there's no ignoring it.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad they got the win.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad VJ side of the ball.
[SPEAKER_02]: The defense played really well, but the offense was very suspect.
[SPEAKER_03]: We got Jay Boy Wonder, jumping in saying Zach.
[SPEAKER_03]: opening quote, the voice in my head verbatim can first week Sean Peyton calling plays account the first week of Sean Peyton calling plays account for any of the offence of smell hashtag mhj for lives that.
[SPEAKER_02]: First of all, I appreciate that J.
[SPEAKER_02]: Second of all, I don't know.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's the same playbook and Davis Webb when he was play calling it was Sean Payton's playbook still.
[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't radically different.
[SPEAKER_02]: It was just in terms of the play flow and when you were calling the plays and this and that, I didn't notice much of a difference.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll have to go back and read, watch the game chat.
[SPEAKER_02]: But it seemed like a, it seemed like Davis Webb was still under the headset.
[SPEAKER_03]: All right, we got Michaela jumping in again.
[SPEAKER_03]: San Boe is not seeing open receivers.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's a cardinal sin for a quarterback.
[SPEAKER_03]: A big time problem.
[SPEAKER_03]: And she also thrown down for the lights.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much.
[SPEAKER_03]: Talk about power company for sure.
[SPEAKER_03]: Has been incredible.
[SPEAKER_03]: and thank you.
[SPEAKER_03]: And I hope you guys know how much it really does help us keep the lights on.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, kaboom, baby, kaboom.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's just been a weird year and a half or so for a sports media with all the changes to the internet and Google and the rise of AI.
[SPEAKER_03]: So thank you so much, my friend.
[SPEAKER_03]: We love you.
[SPEAKER_03]: But she says, do we need to draft a new QBZ?
[SPEAKER_02]: We're not there yet.
[SPEAKER_02]: First of all, Michaela, you know, I feel kind of like bad for disagreeing when you've been so generous, but I'm just giving you my honest opinion.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think we're there yet.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not ready to jump ship on bonus.
[SPEAKER_02]: Although my hand is closer to the panic button than I ever thought it would be in 2026.
[SPEAKER_02]: Max expectations were sky high and I think maybe that's part of the problem for me.
[SPEAKER_02]: Talk about mental struggles.
[SPEAKER_02]: I still think maybe the pressure of
[SPEAKER_02]: competing for a Super Bowl and expecting to be in the Super Bowl competition maybe got to a little bit, but we're not there yet, we dropped it quarterback.
[SPEAKER_02]: We went through so long until we found one and we finally found when we can't give up just yet, but thank you so much again for how generous you are, Michaela.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's not great, right, but what is it?
[SPEAKER_03]: So 34 games plus five games.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, what is that, Zach?
[SPEAKER_03]: 24 plus three.
[SPEAKER_03]: So he's got 27 wins to 12 losses as your quarterback.
[SPEAKER_03]: Something's going on with him, but the Broncos searched long and hard and wandered the desert.
[SPEAKER_03]: for so long, suffered suffered till they could find a guy who had the yet factor.
[SPEAKER_03]: And sometimes you got to roll with the with the punches and the Broncos, I'm sure they know something's going on with Bo and he's not playing at the level we all expected him to.
[SPEAKER_03]: They obviously know a lot more about perhaps the why.
[SPEAKER_03]: All we can do is guess Zach, but I can tell you Michaela,
[SPEAKER_03]: The Broncos, they're not anywhere close to like, oh, let's go ahead and sit bow down and bring in Jared Stitham and we're drafting a Q next year.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I mean, at least I'd be stunned, Zach, if that kind of thought process was even being allowed to be voiced at the building, considering everything he's achieved through two and a quarter seasons.
[SPEAKER_02]: all the records in this and that but most important he won the division he got the number one seed he won a playoff game he would have been in the Super Bowl if it didn't break his ankle.
[SPEAKER_02]: You know so he's done so much for the franchise already and let's not lose sight of the fact like you keep saying chat the Broncos are still three and two they're not oh and five so talk about drafty and quarterback and firing paid and even for me and I'm kind of hot after this game that's a little or a lot premature we're not there yet yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: But Michaela, love you so much.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
[SPEAKER_03]: You know, you know how much you mean to us, my friend.
[SPEAKER_03]: We got storm blast in the house.
[SPEAKER_03]: Great to see you again, bro.
[SPEAKER_03]: And we got to see you back at the campfire last week.
[SPEAKER_03]: And here you are continuing it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Stoke, brother.
[SPEAKER_03]: Appreciate you.
[SPEAKER_03]: He says, priest, I really don't know what to say.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm so sick of seeing an inept offensive playing year and in year out.
[SPEAKER_03]: This is mostly the same team from last year, but they're playing worse.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just tired, boss.
[SPEAKER_03]: A little green mile.
[SPEAKER_03]: We need some changes.
[SPEAKER_03]: We need some changes.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, changes aren't coming.
[SPEAKER_03]: Not wholesale changes.
[SPEAKER_03]: Act here in the middle of a season, but
[SPEAKER_03]: I think the closest thing fans can hope for is that first initial mini by after the Seattle game they'll get three extra days for extra days however you want to quantify it and then their official by Zach is week 10 and we started looking at week nine as like the beginning of when it starts easing up for the Broncos on the schedule but Caroline all the sudden Zach is a thing so we got to keep that in mind, but they're on by this week they're not a thing they're better than we may be expecting to be but what are your thoughts here for stormless
[SPEAKER_02]: I think the problem storm is what you just said there.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I've been thinking this for a while since I realized they were doing it.
[SPEAKER_02]: We talked about it in the off season, but this is mostly the same team.
[SPEAKER_02]: They ran it back with almost literally everyone except for JFM and a few other like PJ Locks, small other players, but they ran it back.
[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't want to get a better running back than JK Dobbins.
[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't want to get a better linebacker than Alex Singleton.
[SPEAKER_02]: They just wanted the band back together.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's part of the problem.
[SPEAKER_02]: You see the talent discrepancy chat.
[SPEAKER_02]: Singleson had a good game today, but not so much in the past.
[SPEAKER_02]: You see what's happening with the running game in Dobbins.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's also broken down because of injuries, I think.
[SPEAKER_02]: You see why they should have been a little more aggressive.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it building up the team, but thank you, Storm, for that super.
[SPEAKER_03]: we're back to the conversation at hand.
[SPEAKER_03]: And we have Omar jumping back in Zach.
[SPEAKER_03]: Omar saying thank you, brother.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, he says, Olin is definitely underperforming not opening run lanes.
[SPEAKER_03]: No push seems overrated.
[SPEAKER_03]: Dobbins has lost his shitty power offensive talent.
[SPEAKER_03]: Seems not elite web definitely not to blame.
[SPEAKER_03]: MHH for live keep up the good work.
[SPEAKER_03]: Go Broncos.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Zach, your thoughts here for our dear buddy.
[SPEAKER_02]: uh, basically I agree.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the offensive line was always overrated.
[SPEAKER_02]: They don't seem overrated.
[SPEAKER_02]: They were crowned way too early.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I said this before, but it wasn't Brock was fans doing the crowning or Brock was media.
[SPEAKER_02]: It was like the outside media of the national media profile focus.
[SPEAKER_02]: They were never the best online in the NFL and certainly not this season.
[SPEAKER_02]: No push is right.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're not getting anything done up front, but it's also the fact that JK Dobbins is not looking like the JK Dobbins of last season.
[SPEAKER_02]: It could be the collection of injuries.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's picked up over the course of his career.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully, when Jonah Coleman comes back, Chad, the Brock was running game to get going again, but it's a lot on the offensive line as well.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it really is, dude.
[SPEAKER_03]: And Mike McGlenchie, like, I'm tripping on him, dude.
[SPEAKER_03]: He looks like completely shot.
[SPEAKER_03]: He did one good thing today, Zach.
[SPEAKER_03]: He fell on a bone next fumble, which, by the way, but we're on the subject still ongoing with bone X. I want to remind everybody that he fumbled twice today.
[SPEAKER_03]: They were his fifth and sixth fumble, Zach, of the season, going into the 2026 seasons, Zach.
[SPEAKER_03]: He had seven career fumbles.
[SPEAKER_03]: So again, it's just like some kind of lack of toys, like the normal bow, like the decision making, which happens in fractals of synapses in the brain, something's delayed here, something is interrupting the signal.
[SPEAKER_03]: Brad Murdoch dude, great to see another deer member legend in the house saying a win is a win, but bow is playing
[SPEAKER_03]: The O-line big time overrated, Bo has no time, but three and two, better than two and three, going into Thursday night football.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, not only that, Zack, but you want it so far.
[SPEAKER_03]: So you can finally check that off the list if you're Sean Payton.
[SPEAKER_03]: And again, you saw though two chargers, they just play the Broncos tough every time.
[SPEAKER_03]: Even last end of the season without the quarterback and starters.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, my problem though is like, first of all, more with the running game with the offensive line, I think they've been a little better in past pro, but the the running game, they're getting no push up front, but bow when he has time a lot to season he's automatically bailing out of the pocket.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's looking to check it down.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's going through his progressions too quickly.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not the same quarterback that we saw last season and I know I keep saying that, but he's not so I hope.
[SPEAKER_02]: hopefully he gets over the mental yips and he can go back to being as physically dominant at times as he was last season.
[SPEAKER_02]: But you're right.
[SPEAKER_02]: The prevailing thought here is Chad.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're three and two and not two and three.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's got to be like the first thing that comes to mind coming out of this game now it doesn't mean we don't have concerns doesn't mean we're not tripping on this aspect or that aspect, but we got also David Wilder checking in still liking his MHH t-shirt on his profile pic like a boss bones right to your buddy.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you bud dear member he says is both playing hurt he doesn't run like he used to.
[SPEAKER_03]: Zach again, we talked about a little bit earlier, but that's all I can really point to here in by way of trying to guess and speculate on what is eating our little Gilbert Grape here.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think he's as healthy as they let on, you know, or he's let on, or maybe it's been aggravated at some point during the early goings of the season, and so it's thrown him for a loop.
[SPEAKER_02]: It was a pretty, I mean, let's not lose sight of the fact it was a pretty gnarly ankle injury chat.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's only 10 months removed from that.
[SPEAKER_02]: He is still a human being after all, but I'm going to assume he is physically healthy and physically healed.
[SPEAKER_02]: He might not be mentally or psychologically healed, psychologically healthy, and he's apprehensive now because of it.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_02]: He had a history, though, of ankle injury.
[SPEAKER_02]: So you think he'd be used to that.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't, I can't put my finger on it, but he's playing very meek, timid, scared like he doesn't want to turn the ball over.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's playing like a rookie quarterback.
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's how he should not be playing.
[SPEAKER_02]: And what should be a breakout year chat of year three.
[SPEAKER_03]: And here is what is ironic about trying to not turn the ball over so much or being overly
[SPEAKER_03]: Almost approaching his entire career number going into this season already six.
[SPEAKER_03]: Now he hasn't lost them all, but it just speaks to kind of again this lack of poison.
[SPEAKER_03]: And then what was he got three picks?
[SPEAKER_03]: So I don't have the figure right in front of me how many fumbles he's lost.
[SPEAKER_03]: But when you play scared, you get scared results.
[SPEAKER_03]: I guess that's the best way to put it.
[SPEAKER_02]: I heard something once psychologically.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's maybe a little off topic, but kind of not, but it's like when people that crash into trees, I hate to make it so morbid, but the reason they're doing that is because they're focused on the tree.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're looking at the tree as they're driving down the road.
[SPEAKER_02]: If you focus on anything too much and make yourself too much cognizant of something, you're going to mess up if you're too tight about something and that's what Bonax is.
[SPEAKER_02]: He wasn't having these same mental pressures as he was in 2025, I don't understand.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's definitely different.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's definitely different.
[SPEAKER_03]: We got Fox family in the house.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, buddy, great to see you tonight.
[SPEAKER_03]: He says, thank you Robinson.
[SPEAKER_03]: We need to figure out this email.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure that's a typo, but Zach, for what it's worth.
[SPEAKER_03]: Cue Robinson.
[SPEAKER_03]: He had,
[SPEAKER_03]: a pretty big day, recovered a fumble for tackles, got some good pressures, and then by the way, Nick Benito doubled his sack total.
[SPEAKER_03]: Finally, that's one guy that capitalized on the, you know, rookies he was going against.
[SPEAKER_03]: And then also, Zach Allen got his fourth sack, and I like seeing Jay Mac on the nickel blitz, Zach to end the game, getting a sack on Herbert.
[SPEAKER_03]: So overall, Broncos got to him one, two, three, four, five times today.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there were a lot of players that we found out or stole a live chat, including Portland's.
[SPEAKER_02]: But I thought the defense as a whole with their pressure, even Jonah Ellis, who's not been that good stepping in for Jonathan Cooper, he was getting some pressures on Herbert as well.
[SPEAKER_02]: But then you have to wonder again, as good as the defense played, the chargers offense really is that bad.
[SPEAKER_02]: The O line, their O line is that bad.
[SPEAKER_02]: The quarterback is that bad.
[SPEAKER_02]: They have no weapons, so we'll take things as they are.
[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Lady Dean, advance though.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, give them 10 memberships to folks in the chat because she's a legend and jumping in again on super chat to say overall have to make it overall the Broncos have to make tremendous strides to win against Seattle we play like today we will get spanked I believe we can win but the whole team needs to show up.
[SPEAKER_03]: agreed.
[SPEAKER_03]: But, you know, the Broncos, especially the Bonix and Sean Peyton-Led Broncos, Zach, are just, and this is not uncommon, but they're just a different team when they're at home, you know, like they just, Broncos are tough to beat at mile high, so that gives me some hope anyways.
[SPEAKER_03]: Zach admits some of these struggles.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm right there with you, Deanna.
[SPEAKER_02]: I said the same thing before the Niners game, if they show up like they do and just like, don't play football for three and a half quarters and then decide to, they're not gonna win the game.
[SPEAKER_02]: Same thing happens.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad they're home on Thursday for sure, but Seattle as a good offense and a good defense, they're gonna come in ready to go against the Broncos.
[SPEAKER_02]: The Denver cannot, absolutely cannot.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll speak for myself.
[SPEAKER_02]: Employ that same method of just showing up in the fourth quarter.
[SPEAKER_02]: If they do, the score is gonna be very low
[SPEAKER_03]: By the way, what did you make of the performances today of Judea Baron and Chris Abram's Drain as the top two boundary corners with PS2 and Moss out before we grab Ren?
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it can anyone even name the receivers they were covering.
[SPEAKER_02]: It was tray Harris.
[SPEAKER_02]: I only know that because he's on my fantasy team and I don't even- because Quentin Johnson and Leid McConkey were out.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't even know who they are- they were throwing a tight end to a lot.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they both played well.
[SPEAKER_02]: I thought Abram's Drain played the ball really well.
[SPEAKER_02]: He was very sticky, but PS2 cannot come back soon enough still.
[SPEAKER_03]: no doubt about it and i'm i'm proud of jet uh... jade barons act he's taking a lot of criticism this summer in the early fall and uh... i'm happy for me he's looking good renn ninety nine jumping in brother great to see a he says uh... run game was better but still needs improvement and next needs to stop looking at just his first read
[SPEAKER_03]: He's missed too many open receivers, but glad we won.
[SPEAKER_03]: We needed it and make change for life, Broncos for life.
[SPEAKER_03]: Here's a good example.
[SPEAKER_03]: When Ren talks about Zack, you know, it can't just be the first read that touched down.
[SPEAKER_03]: The first chargers was it, did they score?
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they scored two.
[SPEAKER_03]: That first chargers touched down Zack.
[SPEAKER_03]: He drops back just in Herbert.
[SPEAKER_03]: He looks right.
[SPEAKER_03]: He looks left.
[SPEAKER_03]: He looks at three different reads before he comes all the way back to the other side and finds that wide open tight end.
[SPEAKER_03]: We don't see it takes a little bit of poison patients act to do that.
[SPEAKER_03]: We're not, we're not, bonus has been far from that.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's not just like playing loose enough mentally where he can just trust his arm enough or trust his legs enough to get the job done, to pick up the big throw, to pick up the first down.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's thinking a few beats too long, Chad, and in the NFL, a few beats can be the difference between a touchdown and a sack, and we're seeing that difference this year.
[SPEAKER_03]: very true, we got Florida blue collar in the house, dear member, become the superstar, never apologized for a win, but what the hell was that?
[SPEAKER_03]: Bo has to be hurt or something, this is wild.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but even if he is hurt and it's his ankle, like, how does that explain some of this just mystifying decision-making, Zach, or like, I guess if you're hurt, you're scared a little bit, but still like, you strong man, Bo, go out and be strong man.
[SPEAKER_02]: the problem is like let's look at Detroit for example if Jared goff went through the same thing and the same mental struggle same injury he can lean on a player in the back feel like Jimmy or Gibbs he can lean on a receiver like I'm gonna rock same brown he can lean on one of the better offensive lines in the NFL he can lean on Sam Laporta one of the best tight ends in the NFL who can bow next lean on
[SPEAKER_02]: because even Jalen Waddle is dropping passes good as it works sighted about him, but he's not been like, uh, absolutely perfect.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's no one that bonus Kalenon.
[SPEAKER_02]: He has no running game.
[SPEAKER_02]: He has no offensive line, or at least they've taken a major step back as well.
[SPEAKER_02]: And he's going through his own struggles.
[SPEAKER_02]: So as much as I say, it's not just Davis Webb or Sean Payton, the play calling, it's not all one bonus as well.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's there's many people that deserve to be eating the blame pie after this game.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you know, a lot was made about on Twitter anyway, today's act during the game, jail and water, coming to the sideline of being visibly frustrated and like, you know, being animated in his frustration.
[SPEAKER_03]: And I understand that, but hey, dude, don't drop passes then.
[SPEAKER_03]: When the ball comes right away, my dog.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, but I do feel it.
[SPEAKER_03]: He was only targeted.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, only he led the team in targets, five targets, but he only caught two for 19.
[SPEAKER_03]: So this is now Zach, the third of five games.
[SPEAKER_03]: as a Bronco, or he had two or fewer receptions.
[SPEAKER_02]: And that can't happen.
[SPEAKER_02]: You gave up a first round pick and then some.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's supposed to be the focal point of your offense.
[SPEAKER_02]: He was supposed to unlock a new dimension and make you better than you were last season when they were this close to a Super Bowl.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's made them not he, but they've looked arguably worse, much worse, not arguably, since they acquired Jalen Wattles.
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's also an issue, Chathers.
[SPEAKER_02]: Again, multiple factors of play here.
[SPEAKER_03]: Papa Bear, thank you, buddy.
[SPEAKER_03]: Much love and respect to you, Mount Rushmore, OG saying a win is a win.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and a lot of the old school people who can were around in the 80s, and they had taken a little bit more measured response to some of this stuff.
[SPEAKER_03]: People who didn't necessarily grow up with social media.
[SPEAKER_03]: Could you imagine John L.A. with social media existed in 1983, four or five?
[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, six, he started turning things around significantly, but Claywise, Zach, jumping in on Facebook.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, Clay.
[SPEAKER_03]: Says we got to keep things in perspective, where were we last season at this point with a much easier schedule, three and two, if you must know, I'll take a division win in the Chargers house called Broncos, not only division winsack on the road, and in a divisional
[SPEAKER_02]: That's the only positive.
[SPEAKER_02]: Again, they look like it felt like a loss from the majority of the game.
[SPEAKER_02]: It looked like it was going to be a loss, but they eaked out of victory.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's how the Louie.
[SPEAKER_03]: Miss for Jay.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, buddy.
[SPEAKER_03]: Super chat says think that's my issue this year was the high expectations.
[SPEAKER_03]: You brought that up, Zach.
[SPEAKER_03]: There might be something to that.
[SPEAKER_02]: And there's nothing wrong with having high expectations with a healthy team that they're running back chat.
[SPEAKER_02]: They added jail and water.
[SPEAKER_02]: They added Jonah Coleman, you have the same coaching staff with VJ and Sean Peyton, etc.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's no reason why we should have expected the broadcast to get to that point again.
[SPEAKER_02]: We shouldn't expect anything less.
[SPEAKER_02]: What happened to the Pat Bowling standard?
[SPEAKER_02]: It's finally back in Denver.
[SPEAKER_02]: We can't hate it now.
[SPEAKER_03]: Pa, we got David Wilder jumping in again, brother.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's two super chats from D Wilder.
[SPEAKER_03]: Our fan base is good at one thing and giving up on quarterbacks.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to tell people how to fan, as I read Mannington here in just one moment.
[SPEAKER_03]: But I got to admit that I was a little bit disappointed by some of the mentions in my Twitter today, just people like piling on Bounix and just bury in him.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, how quickly people forget
[SPEAKER_03]: But that doesn't mean you're not justified to being concerned, Zach.
[SPEAKER_03]: I just mean in terms of, like, where's, where's even a semblance of big picture thinking, a maddings and jumps in?
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, bro, says the problem with both is that he either turns it on or is extremely enemic.
[SPEAKER_03]: There is no gray.
[SPEAKER_03]: Sometimes I just want him to be just okay on dry, Zach.
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's also, and you're right, Maddington, 1,000% thank you for that and thank you for the super, but to what you were saying, shout out about how fans are either giving up or all in, there's the happy medium that we need to explore.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's one thing to say that we shouldn't bail on Bonixia, but it's also okay to say at the same exact time, he is not playing acceptable football, he's not playing franchise quarterback football, but neither is the rest of the offense, the offensive line, the running backs, etc.
[SPEAKER_02]: So,
[SPEAKER_02]: There needs to be a great area both when his play on the field and how we discuss his play on the field.
[SPEAKER_03]: George Fox jumping in again on super chat saying this was I think the first time we had a true quarterback run.
[SPEAKER_03]: Zach, I need your syntax interpretation here quarterback run a didn't move like he did last year.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll make it a lot of neat work.
[SPEAKER_03]: A sneak.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not sure George tried again, brother, and we're happy to address it.
[SPEAKER_03]: Doc James jumping in.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, bro.
[SPEAKER_03]: Good to see you another deer member in OG Superstar saying great team win defense wins championships.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Zach, for what it's worth, the Chargers finished with.
[SPEAKER_03]: 13 more yards than the Broncos, 237 yards, but that's still a huge day at the office for any defense.
[SPEAKER_03]: You can hold a team to under 250.
[SPEAKER_03]: They were five or 14 on third down where the Chargers Zach, one for one in the red zone, one for one goal to go, but most their offense unsurprisingly with all their wide receivers out was
[SPEAKER_03]: rushing 155 yards.
[SPEAKER_03]: The Broncos did get over 100.
[SPEAKER_03]: That's good to see those that 160 yards.
[SPEAKER_03]: That'll help them climb up a little bit from their 29th overall ranking.
[SPEAKER_03]: Gene, what's up, bro?
[SPEAKER_03]: Great to see you big dog.
[SPEAKER_03]: We missed you and your old man, the Brace girl clan at the at the meet and greet, but we understood why.
[SPEAKER_03]: Says, I swear my life is short and Zach, by 20 years, these past two years alone.
[SPEAKER_03]: And then he says,
[SPEAKER_02]: At least Troy Franklin caught the pass that he was thrown to add on if he got more targets but I saw he made a grab.
[SPEAKER_02]: Anything that went even like decently okay was celebrated today by the Broncos offense.
[SPEAKER_02]: If they got a positive gain on the ground, the fact that they got a rushing touchdown from JK Dobbins in the first half of a football game was major news.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's where the bar is.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's really in hell right now.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and again, you know, they led for most of the game, most of the game.
[SPEAKER_03]: So that again, silver lining development.
[SPEAKER_03]: If you guys have seen the movie Silver lining playbook, I'm going to take that as a silver lining development, Phil jumping in, brother, again, he says, we all know Bo has problems, but when Sutton and Waddle both drop passes and we did not have the best passing defense today or a run game and all adds up to trouble.
[SPEAKER_03]: It really does.
[SPEAKER_03]: But again, I think one of the things
[SPEAKER_03]: Thursdays against the c-hawks spread the offense up tempo, please, Zack, actually you would dress that from Riptine, then this thought I was about to share a hold on to it for a minute.
[SPEAKER_02]: it seems like that's still what uh... bone nicks runs best when they don't really huddle they don't think too much they go out there they keep it up tempo they go no huddle uh... that seemed like last season that's where bone nicks feasted but i don't know we can't say the same this year and i wish they had pat brine out there at the time there's a still big loss for bone nicks he was he was proving to be a safety blanket for
[SPEAKER_03]: Riptide jumps in again.
[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, brother.
[SPEAKER_03]: He says, it's mental.
[SPEAKER_03]: I don't think both hurt.
[SPEAKER_03]: I think the transition to Davis Webb and now back to Sean has his mind scrambled.
[SPEAKER_03]: That may have intensified things a little bit, right?
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I talked about this Thursday, and Isaac, you and I did.
[SPEAKER_03]: I talked about it again last night.
[SPEAKER_03]: How much will this drama of the past week and Sean Peyton taking back the play calling?
[SPEAKER_03]: And all this.
[SPEAKER_03]: impact the product on the field on Sunday against the chargers.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's hard to say, but yeah, Boneyx, we learned Zach from Sean Peyton was disappointed that the play calling got taken from web because he feels like he let his one of his best friends down.
[SPEAKER_03]: And so yeah, you got to think that's eaten at him a little bit, but it's also a good reminder, hey, Beau, this is the pros big dog.
[SPEAKER_03]: You got no time to worry about that kind of stuff.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's production based business and your jobs
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't know if I buy that too much.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, not only did he change systems and college and everything, but also the fact that week one happened.
[SPEAKER_02]: And that Broncos made the change to Davis web chat months before week one.
[SPEAKER_02]: They had months to prepare for that game.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then Bonyx looked like he still does.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're the red flags and the warning signs were there as well.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's more of the ankle.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's something mental.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, but he's playing an unacceptable brand of football.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't want it to be last thought I have on this, I guess, for tonight.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want us to be where he needs a perfect situation.
[SPEAKER_02]: He needs all stars at every position.
[SPEAKER_02]: He needs a superstar defense for him to succeed.
[SPEAKER_02]: He should be the tie that raises all ships.
[SPEAKER_02]: And right now Chad, they're almost winning in spite of him, not because of him.
[SPEAKER_03]: But you know, I'll remind everybody, both still a young quarterback and young quarterbacks.
[SPEAKER_03]: They have the roller coaster sometimes.
[SPEAKER_03]: And the peaks might last longer than other times, the valleys might run.
[SPEAKER_03]: a little bit longer, but I mean, far be it for me, Zach, to point to a success story like Drake May.
[SPEAKER_03]: But look at how he started out this season.
[SPEAKER_03]: People panic in Patriots fans going, oh, no, well, you know, and everybody clowning on him.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the last couple days and just, or games, and especially today's Zach, I mean, he was money in the bank and the only thing I even illustrate this, yes.
[SPEAKER_03]: is that quarterbacks again, they go through adversity, they learn from it, they grow if they're meant to be true franchise quarterbacks.
[SPEAKER_03]: And what we know from Bo next up to this point, Zach, is that he does persevere.
[SPEAKER_03]: So I still remain fully optimistic.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm concerned, but I remain fully optimistic.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's going to dig his way out of this.
[SPEAKER_03]: Mr. J, thank you, bro.
[SPEAKER_03]: I didn't grab that one, but we'll get it after George.
[SPEAKER_03]: Hold on, Mr. J, I'm coming back to you.
[SPEAKER_03]: We think we know what George is talking about here, Zack.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's saying this was, I think the first time we had a true quarterback designed run for Beau, and he didn't move like he did last year.
[SPEAKER_03]: Is it the point he was trying to make?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he doesn't move at all like he did last season.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's also terrible on a quarterback's sneaks.
[SPEAKER_02]: He always goes sideways, instead of just like burrowing his head and getting that yarder or whatever it is.
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's another issue, I guess.
[SPEAKER_03]: I know it's a physical and it can come at a price and practice, but I do think they need to practice those sneaks more in seriously like he looks extremely uncomfortable doing the sneaks and I'm thinking back to those first two years pre injury.
[SPEAKER_03]: There's just weren't that many examples of them run in the sneaks.
[SPEAKER_03]: Honestly, like I think if you would, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a way to measure this, if there was some metric out there that could provide this information, I bet you the Bonax has ran more QB sneaks in short yardage.
[SPEAKER_03]: Five games into this season than he did in combined of his first two seasons.
[SPEAKER_03]: They would just hand it off to a back, boom, get the foot or get stuff, whatever.
[SPEAKER_03]: Mist for Jay, something is on Bo's mind.
[SPEAKER_03]: it's so frustrating, a conference game or not, defense balled out today.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they played well, and especially that considering they're without PS2, they're without Moss, and then good chunk of that second half without Hufanga.
[SPEAKER_02]: I hope you found this okay man.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's looking like we might not have a month or Thursday, but yeah, I give VJ a lot of credit for what he did with the defense.
[SPEAKER_02]: He had him ready to go again though.
[SPEAKER_02]: The level of competition was not great.
[SPEAKER_02]: Herbert is like, we talked about what's going on with both.
[SPEAKER_02]: What's going on with Herbert?
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, like the biggest hype quarterback every year chat and like he looks like worse than a rookie.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like it was not bad today, but we don't know, uh, Mr. J, what's going on with both.
[SPEAKER_02]: We just have to speculate for now until it's revealed.
[SPEAKER_03]: Riptide jumping in we're almost out of time guys.
[SPEAKER_03]: So this year call it your two-minute warning so to speak, but Riptide Thank you again, brother.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's not done.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's got more to say.
[SPEAKER_03]: He says I'm just tired of this type of offense Give me Peyton Manning 2013 and the fort with the 14 defense please just once in my life I want to I'm gonna throw this in utterly dominate
[SPEAKER_03]: And then it's his second super here in the sequence that is that's true Zach raised the tide But no Chad he's not a young cubi he has played too much football to this inconsistent and that's a fair that's a fair You know push back what did they illustrate today so 34 games plus today you know do the math right he's he's 39 starts into his career regular season not counting the two playoff games He's played
[SPEAKER_03]: And I get that, but it doesn't detract from the reality that young quarterbacks, like, you know, five, it usually takes like a full five years for quarterbacks to like not everyone.
[SPEAKER_03]: There are the unicorns, like the Patrick Mahomes is and stuff like that.
[SPEAKER_03]: But I mean, go back and look at some of the greatest quarterbacks ripped out of all time, and a lot of them's that they're taken three, four, five years to really kind of come into their own.
[SPEAKER_03]: And because they're great quarterbacks, over that three, five years, whatever it is that they're
[SPEAKER_03]: Developing they have some amazing moments.
[SPEAKER_03]: They might have one great season followed by a mid season, but you know, it usually takes a little bit of time and so that's why again, I understand the concern.
[SPEAKER_03]: I do not subscribe in any way to the panic.
[SPEAKER_02]: But not a lot of quarterbacks like bone expert Chad were the most experienced college quarterbacks of all time in terms of starts in game.
[SPEAKER_03]: I look he's sharing a brain with you.
[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I really tend to agree ripped.
[SPEAKER_02]: I I don't think it's too extreme to say that he should not be inconsistent.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's not a rookie anymore.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's not even here too.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's year three now.
[SPEAKER_02]: He has weapons around him.
[SPEAKER_02]: He has one of the best play callers of all time in his ear.
[SPEAKER_02]: He shouldn't be playing like this.
[SPEAKER_02]: I agree.
[SPEAKER_03]: The critiques don't get a twist in guys.
[SPEAKER_03]: I the critiques are justified the concerns are justified again, where I will disagree and friends can disagree.
[SPEAKER_03]: is that it's time to panic or, you know, throw the baby out with the bath water.
[SPEAKER_03]: Let's start looking at quarterbacks, 20, 27.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, come on, back it up, pump the brakes a little bit and we're still early.
[SPEAKER_03]: But guys, listen up, we got a few messages for you here from Zach and while Zach's going through these, I'm going to take one last look at the chat to anything we may have missed, so don't go anywhere.

[SPEAKER_03]: All right, Zach, a few a few last messages, including here from.
[SPEAKER_03]: missed for Jay with his super.
[SPEAKER_03]: Again, thank you, brother.
[SPEAKER_03]: He says very true about the bolts offense.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll take the win with our defense either way.
[SPEAKER_03]: One of the most exciting things to see besides Hufanga's pick six.
[SPEAKER_03]: His first interception and his pick six.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, dude.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, couple will take away today's act.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's sacked.
[SPEAKER_03]: Herbert five times and held them to under 250 yards.
[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, I think the Broncos defense deserves a collective game ball, especially considering no PS2, no Moss, etc.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the defense does not have my eye or at all.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have a problem with the defense.
[SPEAKER_02]: They won the game, arguably for the Broncos, by keeping them in the game and getting them the ball back, by giving them short fields consistently.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, hats off to DJ.
[SPEAKER_03]: All right Rodney says bonnet bow ankle must be hurt.
[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
[SPEAKER_03]: It's fair.
[SPEAKER_03]: Doc says he is him just has to get that confidence in his body back
[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, he's still whack from that injury with the happy feet.
[SPEAKER_03]: Todd says, Bo isn't getting a mental day until week 10.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, he'll get a mini bi after Seattle.
[SPEAKER_03]: He'll get it three days.
[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, but Chase Wellner, I'm still concerned.
[SPEAKER_03]: But they look bad this time last year versus the Jets.
[SPEAKER_03]: Very true.
[SPEAKER_03]: They were able to turn it around.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'll hold out some hope.
[SPEAKER_03]: that they can do it again.
[SPEAKER_03]: John Mortensen, good to see about.
[SPEAKER_03]: He says, everybody needs to stop giving up on bow.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, my gosh, look at what he's accomplished in the first two years.
[SPEAKER_03]: And this is his third game at his third after game five.
[SPEAKER_03]: His third win after game five, you already to bail on him, come on.
[SPEAKER_03]: Man, wow, such loyal fans.
[SPEAKER_03]: Dylan says, Bench and next would be silly.
[SPEAKER_03]: You have to know whether he is or isn't the guy and you do that by letting him play out.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, said, good to see you, Dylan.
[SPEAKER_03]: Stream guy, Rodge says, Chad, is this a fair evaluation?
[SPEAKER_03]: We have an above average defense with the below average offense.
[SPEAKER_03]: Does that equal a playoff team?
[SPEAKER_03]: It can.
[SPEAKER_03]: We've seen it time and time again.
[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it was last year, was a below average of for the most part, or at least average, you know, is an average offense, that's but a great defense.
[SPEAKER_03]: What do you say to Stream guy?
[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, even if they do get into the playoffs, like, do we want them to just get blown out and round one?
[SPEAKER_02]: They're not going to at this rate if they keep playing, in my opinion, they're not going to win the division.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're not going to get the one seed.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to be on the road in the opening week of the postseason, and they're going to lose.
[SPEAKER_02]: If they play like this, so is that what we want?
[SPEAKER_02]: Or do we want the Broncos to play four quarter championship level football?
[SPEAKER_02]: I agree with what you're saying there, string.
[SPEAKER_02]: They need to be better on offense because they can't keep having the defense carry him.
[SPEAKER_02]: We've seen how that movie plays out over the last decade, not too well.
[SPEAKER_03]: Reptile jumping in one last time to say it's Sean and the tempo, bow is to experience to be handcuffed.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think at this stage, even if Zach the Broncos may realize he's in a slump or something's going on, they know more about what that may be obviously than we do.
[SPEAKER_03]: But that doesn't mean they need to pare it down and treat them like he's day one rookie and cut the field in half and all that stuff.
[SPEAKER_03]: But Bo, the two quickest ways to get things rolling better for the Broncos offensively is create a more consistent run game and continue coaching Bo to start utilizing every level of the field, including the middle, or he still just doesn't like to push the ball.
[SPEAKER_02]: If he's having mental struggles right now, I think dumbing it down would be a detriment for him.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it would cause him to overthink more and think, oh, what did I do to deserve this?
[SPEAKER_02]: Am I playing that bad?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yada Yada, I think they should just keep pushing through the fire chat.
[SPEAKER_02]: Throw him in the deep end and he'll eventually learn how to swim again.
[SPEAKER_03]: And I think he will, I think he will last one here from Reflex World Prease, curious to get your opinion.
[SPEAKER_03]: Is this a Chris Morgan issue?
[SPEAKER_03]: So Chris Morgan is the new offensive line coach, former quality control assistant, and with Zach Streef officially becoming the run game coordinator and then later Zach assistant head coach,
[SPEAKER_03]: It's more Morgan that's in those every single meeting and doing the one-on-one coaching.
[SPEAKER_03]: Although I would still say Streep is still like the old lines are, he goes on to say Streep is assistant head coach, so he's not necessarily the head guy on the old line.
[SPEAKER_03]: I think he says, this is a Chris Morgan issue.
[SPEAKER_03]: Kind of like Webb, what do you think's that?
[SPEAKER_02]: I, well, I kind of like web just because he was the OC by title doesn't mean that Sean Peyton wasn't involved.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Sean Peyton was still very much still a figurehead in the offense and I have to think that just because Morgan has the title, that's, that's, at Streep is also giving his input and sitting in some of the meetings and he knows what's going on.
[SPEAKER_02]: It might be the case reflex, although the sample size is still a little too small.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's a talent issue, talent, lack of talent at right tackle, at center and left guard.
