Speaker 1: Welcome back the second half of Tom's Polk Party. This

Memorial Day weekend, well, Memorial Day weekend is the time

that we reflect on the loved ones we've lost, and

I want to take some time to play some music

from two wonderful ladies in the polka world that we

just recently lost. The first is Linda Josephar. Linda was

from Willoughby, Ohio, the Cleveland area. She played in the

Magic Buttons button box Band out of Willoughby, Ohio, as

well as the Frank Murschik Band. And Linda was a

beautiful young lady. She had a wonderful smile and always

brought great music to us through her accordion playing. So

let's turn to the Magic Buttons group and do this

one written by Joe Yumik who used to be the

leader of the Fontana button Box Club.

Speaker 2: Eddie's Polka stand.

Speaker 3: A at.

Speaker 1: Once again. That was Magic Buttons from the Willoughby, Ohio

area doing the Joe Orcik number ten eighty one polka.

And we're sending those out in memory of Linda Josivar

who played with Magic Buttons. And as I'm looking at

the CD, I realized a couple of these songs feature

Linda playing the button accordion. So let's do one more

in memory of Linda Josavar. Here's Linda on the accordion

with Raise Alacar on the vocals. Save the last dance.

Speaker 4: Down low while the man's play slow.

Speaker 5: Then's the last dance with me to night.

Speaker 6: Cald me close, tenderly as.

Speaker 4: We touched silently, let my heart speak to you.

Speaker 7: To night, save the last there for me, my dially,

my now.

Speaker 6: Don't you know? Can't you see? Pretam that you can.

Speaker 7: Is more? And that's the last day.

Speaker 6: It's weary s knights and sleep time. Here's a kiss,

warm man right.

Speaker 7: As we dance the last name sun, holdly.

Speaker 4: Close, tenderly as we touched silently, let my heart.

Speaker 8: Speak to you to night, to say the.

Speaker 7: Last stand for me, my lily, my now, don't you know?

Speaker 8: Can you see?

Speaker 6: Return? Many is small? And as the last day we.

Speaker 7: Retain man, you care is small, Ma.

Speaker 6: And love.

Speaker 1: Saved the last dance for me In memory of Linda

Hoosephar As I always say, Linda, I hope you're resting

in peace, but knowing that you're one of those fine

female accordion players up in heaven. The guys might be

sitting down right now and letting you have all the

accolades of playing well. We also lost someone that was

tied into the Lawrence Walk Show, Joeann Castle. Joeanncastle was

well known for her honky tonk style piano playing, but

she also played a pretty mean accordion, and she often

was featured in duets with Myron Florin. Here is Joeencastle

and Myron Florin.

Speaker 9: You've been asking for more of the little lady that

plays the honky tonk piana, Well, here's he is.

Speaker 10: One hundred and twenty pounds of fun in frivolity Joan Castle.

Speaker 11: After the game, after school, after work. Applebee's is where

you want to be to enjoy their bold, savory grilled steaks,

salmon or chicken. Applebee's is located where Beaumont meets Banning,

just off Sixth Street near Highland Springs Avenue. Applebee started
