[SPEAKER_02]: an unexpected guest.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Jason Horton.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Rebecca Lead and this is Ghost Town.
[SPEAKER_02]: We've discussed on Ghost Town and I've discussed with you that I've had strange interactions that I could not explain.
[SPEAKER_02]: You couldn't although I rationalized a lot of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: But as someone who's observed one of them, do you see me in LA?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you see me in action.
[SPEAKER_00]: I have.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a lot.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not nothing.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I feel like it's bathrooms that attract whatever it is to me.
[SPEAKER_02]: Most every time something happened has been in a bathroom and I've had another incident in a bathroom.
[SPEAKER_00]: like bathrooms, like bathroom as well.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the giant is shopping, who's helping a bathroom in a bathroom, my own bathroom, my own bathroom in my apartment.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we have to add another bathroom to the list.
[SPEAKER_02]: The bathroom at Fred 62 in La Villes.
[SPEAKER_00]: I probably wouldn't have guessed that.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'd have a lot of guesses as we do a lot of LA history, but Fred 62, which is a diner in Los Angeles.
[SPEAKER_02]: And he's like celebrities there.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, food, be minus.
[SPEAKER_02]: Can we say that there's been people in Fred 62 that have been
[SPEAKER_02]: going through some stuff over the years.
[SPEAKER_00]: Goalish people.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: And that bathroom, it's only a one person bathroom.
[SPEAKER_02]: Because every time I go there, I was like, I know I have to like, I'm just there and have to wait.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then some cool person is going to leave the bathroom.
[SPEAKER_02]: Some person that looks so cool, denim or like, they're always like lasting.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the clothes and their closures kind of like hang off of them.
[SPEAKER_02]: So recently,
[SPEAKER_02]: a friend of mine, a comedian friend of mine passed away.
[SPEAKER_02]: So that had happened probably within the last week, and I'm not saying that's related, but that was what was on my mind a little bit.
[SPEAKER_02]: And it was something that I had been discussing, but when I was at Fritzika 2, I wasn't.
[SPEAKER_02]: I just happened to go, I think I was doing another comedy show, and we stopped and got Fritzika 2 and got something to eat, talked about the show.
[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it wasn't like I was front-loaded with any if my thing is always kind of like oh Am I looking for this and I never ever am and I'm never expecting it I'm never I'm forever skeptic.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you don't want it even I don't I really don't want it because it's it's a really weird feeling like I'm in almost my near mid 50s I've I've felt a lot of things that I felt but there's and there's not
[SPEAKER_02]: too much new under the sun for me.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, there's no new not many new revelations at all.
[SPEAKER_02]: Kind of seen it all so at Fred 62.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I go to the bathroom, no line for the bathroom, lucky me.
[SPEAKER_02]: Spooky.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's already like, oh, I'm like, already, I'm like, oh, everything is just come freely.
[SPEAKER_02]: Everything's coming up, Jason.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm two now, like, I was like, wow, this is my last show.
[SPEAKER_02]: It was busy.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's always busy.
[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone is so cool.
[SPEAKER_02]: At most, I'm a little bit insecure of how cool everybody is.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm very excited that I just get to use the bathroom.
[SPEAKER_00]: No lines, baby.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm wearing a hoodie.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
[SPEAKER_02]: So you're like, okay.
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, Mr. Casual.
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, Mr.
[SPEAKER_01]: Kickback.
[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: Get in some French fries.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm eating French fries.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm wearing a hoodie.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, whatever dude.
[SPEAKER_01]: What ever dude?
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm in the bathroom and I like I said I'm wearing a hoodie and I'm Ping I'll say you'll say you're break here on this podcast Ping standing up by the way.
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, despite despite the rumors.
[SPEAKER_02]: I do peace standing up nice All right, he tells her see he does seem important.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're like I feel like Jesus peace sitting down I feel like that's his vibe and then I do have it.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no, I do have that button, but I think like an alpha I pee
[SPEAKER_02]: Standing up.
[SPEAKER_02]: I pee.
[SPEAKER_02]: I get done peeing and I feel someone pull on my hoodie.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like I'm like this.
[SPEAKER_02]: I pull back and I turn around really quick and there's nobody there.
[SPEAKER_02]: All the hairs are standing up on my the back of my neck.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're standing up on my arms and stuff like that.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it was the same feeling I had when I was in my bathroom at home and I was just taking off like a shirt I could normally be and I felt like somebody pulled pulling it back down.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so you have that muscle memory of that other encounter a little bit.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, but it was one of those things where I was like listen, I peed in a hoodie many times
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll say that I peed many times.
[SPEAKER_00]: Don't don't play me.
[SPEAKER_00]: I peed in a hoodie.
[SPEAKER_02]: I peed in a hoodie.
[SPEAKER_02]: But I felt some one or something pull on that hoodie.
[SPEAKER_02]: I could, like, like, so I'm like, you know, and I'm done.
[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Whoa.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: It really, so it couldn't have been, you know, the hoodie kind of falling off.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's no hoodie that is.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's no.
[SPEAKER_02]: Whereas when I was taking off my shirt that one time, there was a lot of movement happened.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: So again, I rationed a lot.
[SPEAKER_02]: Even though that was also a strange, where you just have like, that was weird.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this doesn't happen often to me.
[SPEAKER_02]: And not something I'm ever looking for.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's probably maybe four occasions that something weird has happened in my 50s, something years.
[SPEAKER_02]: But when it did happen, I mean, I even went and I was like in the bathroom and I could tell because when I got out there was like a long time for the bathroom They were like I Was really freaked out and I like walked over to the table and my friend luckily he was like I was he was on the phone So I didn't have to like him be like what's up dude?
[SPEAKER_02]: So I got to kind of compose myself, but it really really freaked me out and that was probably I mean was like three weeks ago
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, yeah, I just haven't, I was waiting to it's over Texas now.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, it doesn't have the same effect.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm glad we did this in person.
[SPEAKER_02]: So that was my haunting at Fred's 62 and the probably the scariest part was the check.
